Camilla nodded as he said they had time and sighed letting him into her room. "Good. I wanted to go over a few things with you. It is important for me to take ownership of my mistake and to be honest but I also feel it is is important to make amends. I know it's kind of a bad time but I really want to go out to the most affected villages and help out where I can. It is the only thing I can think of that really is sentence for what I have done. I would like to bring aid to the people." she said and bit her lip. "I can ask Aldannia for help in that but it will take to long so I would need your help with that. Do you think that is feasible?" she asked him nervously looking up at him and pressing a hand to her stomach as she waited for him to give his insightful guidance. He had been raised to rule. She had not been raised like he had and she was missing so much but had a fresh sight he didn't, when they were married they would be the perfect ruling team but for now it was a struggle.
Felix chuckled. "You can start now my dear." he said and cupped her cheek his thumb brushing her cheek. "And yes it will be much more interesting with you by my side. Don't you worry we will mesh here two countries together beautifully." he said knowing they could do it. Felix had completely faith in Charlotte, he wouldn't fight so hard if he didn't believe. Felix sighed and looked at the time. "I should be going." he said and ran his hand into her hair pulling her close and hovering before her lips. "Will you have a good day?" he asked her looking into her eyes after studying her lips a breath away from kissing her.

Nicholas hesitated for a moment at Camilla's thought of getting Aldannia to help. "With your sister being the main reason this tragedy happened, it might be best for Aldannia not to help with this." At this point, Nicholas was not even sure how Camilla would get Aldannia's assistance when it was their attack in the first place. "You helping them is certainly feasible and we can think of a solution together. It also would not be a bad idea for you to go out to the areas affected as well, but we do need to think of your security as well... What I am saying is that it would take a few days, but you could go if you wanted. Though do be aware that you might not be the most welcomed at first. But with your assistance they might warm up to you again."

He then gave her a smile. "You should take ownership and be honest though. Just make sure not to make a promise on how you would help them exactly as it will need to be figured out on our side of it."
Charlotte looked back into Felix's eyes, complete warmth and softness swirling in them. She pressed her fingers into his skin a little before moving in the rest of the way, pressing her lips against Felix's. They were so warm and inviting, but Charlotte stayed only for a moment before pulling away, her face beginning to turn a light pink now. "I will now." Charlotte whispered to Felix. "And I hope that you do as well." Her head leaned into his hand a bit as she looked back into Felix's eyes. Her own fingers slid down his skin until her hands were pressed against his chest. She was sad to see him go, but Charlotte knew she had to do the same.

Camilla nodded glad they got to speak. She sighed and nodded. "Okay I'm ready then. I just wanted to be sure I could do it before I said that I would." she said and bit her lip. She was nervous. She had never been in a situation where she had to win people over like this. Maybe she had to win over strangers but these where not strangers and it was her mistake she was trying to win them back from. Camilla was just really glad she had Nicholas on her side. It calmed her. She moved to him and wrapped her arms around his waist hiding her face in his chest. "I'm so sorry about all of this. I know this didn't come at a good time and I am so so sorry." she said and wished she could take it all back. She wished she had seen earlier that Nicholas was truly good and that her sister had lost her mind and there where good men out there. She stepped back soothing her dress and hair as it was time to go. "How will this go?" she asked as they started to walk down there. Would he address the courts first then allow her to speak or what? Would she be alone or standing beside him?
Felix smiled. "I will as well. I will see you at dinner." he said and kissed her hand he had taken off his chest then let go as he turned to leave. He walked down the hall meeting up with his father. It was a day of more learning on the job and he was grateful for it. Not only did it show him as the future king with authority and plenty of experience it also allowed him to get to know his country and spend time with his father. All of there's where wins to him. He sat down beside his father as they began the day.

"My mother is speaking with the court now." Nicholas glanced over at Camilla. "Considering the situation, they thought it would be best for her to introduce the matter to the court. You then will address them and afterwords, I will tell them that the evidence has shown you innocent and that this matter will not be taken to trial. Afterwords, you and my mother will go have lunch and I will deal with the nobles." He cleared his throat a bit. "You will need to start soothing them over tomorrow but it is best that I handle them at first." It was best to take the brunt of their anger for Camilla's sake. He knew many of them would be rather furious. They were sure to say some things outright that they would regret the next day. Especially once they were allowed to look over the evidence themselves. "Just keep your head up and speak to them clearly, everything will be okay." Nicholas stopped at the front of the doors to the court. "Once these doors open, I will take my seat next to my mother who will introduce you. At which point, you'll need to speak. Once you had finished, turn to me and I will say my piece."
As Felix left her, Charlotte moved to head out of the room. She was going to have a quiet day today and tomorrow she would try to sooth over the nobles. Charlotte knew they all needed a day to process what had occurred, and she thought it for the best. Once in her room, she spent her day studying, doing some work for Aldannia, and eventually making a list of things she wanted to say and do for the nobles and people of Felix's country. It felt as though the day had gone by quickly and soon it was time for dinner. She made her way to the dining room, a small smile on her lips as she did so.

Camilla nodded. She felt suddenly like she was going to throw up. She ran a hand through her hair and quickly braided it up pinning it down. She sighed and looked up at Nicholas. "Do I look alright?" she asked wishing she had done this earlier but she had been so focused with everything else she hadn't even thought much about everything else.
Once the doors opened she let go of Nicholas's hand and let him move forward towards his mother. Camilla heard her introduction and moved forward into the den of wolves. She looked around at them all letting the silence build. she could feel the distain. Camilla looked down a moment took a breath hen looked dup at the court around her. "Noblemen of Vienna, I come before you having made a grave mistake. I pray that you will listen to me with open minds." she said trying not to look at Phillip. "I trusted someone who was no long worthy of that trust and betrayed not only all of you but the people of Vienna and that is something I feel I must make up to them. I will be going out into the country, among those most affected by my actions, to assist them, and to show them that my loyalty lies with the people of Vienna above all. I hope in time that I might earn not only their forgiveness and trust back but also all of yours. I thank each and every one of you for this chance to prove my loyalty to Vienna." she looked around at all of them her heart feeling like it might burst within her. Camilla's eyes finally landed on Nicholas. She felt like she had missed something in there but none the less it was all the plea she could make.
Felix was sitting with his mother as Charlotte came in. He smiled at her and stood holding her chair out for her beside him. His father came in not to long after they had all sat and the meals as served. "How was your day Charlotte?" Felix asked her and smiled. He was glad to see her. Just her presence lite up the room and he was glad for it. He took a drink from his cup watching his fiancee over the table. This was something so simple but everyone he cared about deeply was at that table. Felix had spent all day working and finally it was time to relax a little and let the day fade away. Tomorrow he knew was a long day for Charlotte so he was thinking a short walk after dinner might calm her nerves for the next day as well.

Nicholas locked eyes with Camilla and gave her a little nod. The nobles were already beginning to mutter among themselves of what she had said. Standing up, Nicholas walked over to Camilla's side, at which point the nobles quickly quieted to hear the decision that Nicholas had made on the matter. The man was quiet for a moment as his eyes scanned the court, ensuring that he had everyone's attention before speaking.

"I have looked over all of the evidence that has been collected during this time. It has been made clear to me that Princess Camilla is telling the truth. That her actions, while inadvisable, were not out of malice. Nor did she have any intent for trouble to fall upon this country or my people. With this being known, this matter will not be taken to trial." Immediately, the nobles started to talk amongst themselves. It was clear that there was surprise in the audience. Nicholas raised his hands. "Gentlemen, please." The started to quiet down again. "The evidence that has been collected will be available at your request. Through these, you will see that my decision is a sound one. Though as for the issue at hand, The Queen, Princess Camilla and I will be discussing solutions and taking swift action to continue to help those in need. This meeting is now dismissed."

The Queen stood up and moved to Camilla's side, "We should leave now dear." Nicholas looked back at Camilla and motioned for her to follow his mother. There were some things he needed to take care of with the nobles.
Charlotte smiled over at Felix brightly. She was pleased to see him after her day of work and studying. "My day has been productive. How was yours Felix?" As she kept her attention on him, Charlotte started to eat the meal that had been placed in front of her. She remembered when she used to find their meals quick odd but since then, she had grown accustom to them. Charlotte actually felt that way about a lot of things in the castle. "I hope everything has gone well for you."

Camilla felt stronger with Nicholas beside her and she wanted to reach out and take his hand but for now she could not. She watched and listened as Nicholas spoke. She felt each glare like a stab to the heart. She took each whisper like a whip to the back. Once Nicholas had nodded to her to leave she prayed that the opinions of his nobles would not recant his decision to send her to court or continue with heir marriage. She looked up at Nicholas's mother and nodded softly following her out only looking back before the doors closed. she felt like she could cry but was refusing to. It was her own fault that now Nicholas had to clean up her mess. She looked at the queen. "I have made such a mess." she said her voice thick with grief. Camilla followed her out to the garden where tea was served. She waited until they where alone other than the guards and laid her head on the table. "What have I done?" she asked. "Did you ever expect me to make such a mess?" she asked wondering if the queen had any wisdom through her own experience for her.
Felix grinned and sat back. "The same. Lots of training snd learning first hand which was good and I will depend on these skills immensely in the future." He said and smiled at her. "In deed everything went smoothly but with my father around it was not expected to go anything but smoothly." he chuckled his father giving him a father expression of amused unamusement. He chuckled. "What father you are a perfectionist." he said and smiled as his mother playfully swatted at him in her husbands defense. Felix smiled at Charlotte. "Earlier you aid you where going to study, what did you learn about today?" he asked curiously.

The Queen smiled at Camilla gently as she poured tea for the both of them. "Did I expect you to make a mess? Of course I did." She said. "Now did I expect this mess in particular? No." The woman pushed Camilla's tea closer to her. "Drink, dear. It will make you feel better."

After taking a sip of her own tea, the Queen continued on. "It would have been foolish to think that issues would not arise from this arrangement. And I can assure you that every royal has made their own mistakes, whether it was public or not. Goodness, I have caused my own trouble during my engagement to the King and our countries had been allies for a very long time." She set down her cup. "I was never worried about if you would cause trouble. It was always going to happen and I assure you, Felix has created his own problems when he first started to learn. Though what I am worried about is how you and Felix will fix the issues that arise when you both are in charge. That is what truly matters."
Charlotte let out a warm laugh as she watched Felix interact with his parents. They were such a close and loving family. It was nice to be near. Though it made her ache slightly for the warmth and familiarity of her own. "I was going over the laws of Embernia. There is still plenty to go through but a lot of it is similar to what we have in Aldannia." That wasn't too surprising. Many laws were shown in most countries. Though punishments, and the seriousness of the law tended to change. One place can have the punishment be a slap on the wrist while the other it was jail time.

As she finished up her meal, Charlotte set her silverware down and moved her hands into her lap. Her eyes glanced over the three of them before landing on Felix. "Would you like to go for a walk after dinner?"

Camilla took the tea and sat back sipping it as she listened to the woman speak. Camilla nodded. She knew that the queen was right. It wasn't a matter of if a problem would arise it was a matter of when it happened how they would deal with it. She sipped her tea again. "You are very wise." she said softly and smiled. "On day I hope to have that kind of foresight and discretion." she said and bit her lip. "I know Nicholas is very wise as well but I do feel terrible to have left him with the nobles to clean up my mess." Camilla knew she wasn't capable yet of handling them all on her own just yet but she did hope one day they would respect her enough to allow her to lead them. She sighed and set her tea down. "How is the king?" she asked softly hooping he was at least stable. It would mean a lot to them all if he recovered. The longer he was alive the longer Nicholas had with his father. It was something she hoped for him.
Felix nodded and smiled. "I think we will learn there are many similarities and it will not be so hard to combine our countries." he said and smiled. He was planning to start studying her country as well. Just to get an idea for their trip. It shouldn't be that hard. He might even like some of her countries rules better. Felix really hoped that no matter how this went that their life together would be a good life. He wanted a long life with her. Felix wondered what their life together would be like and when he went to look back on hit so many years from now if he would consider it good. Felix chuckled lightly at his own thoughts. "Yes I would love to go on a walk with you." he said softly. It was quickly becoming their favorite thing to do in the evenings together.

The Queen gave Camilla a soft smile. "My son is very intelligent and his is wise for his age. Though wisdom is something that comes with experiences and I am sure that you will become very wise yourself one day. Many situations will be laid at your feet and you'll gain the knowledge that comes with them. There will be days where you clean up his messes, just as he is handing the forefront today. Do not worry too much about it, it is for the best and Nicholas knows what he is getting into." She set down a sweet onto her plate before glancing out into the garden. The issues arising with her husband was a touchy subject and one that she would rather not passed around too much. "Do not share this with anyone," The Queen said as she dropped her eyes back to Camilla. "But the doctors have made it very clear that my husband will not make it to see next summer. Nicholas knows his days with his father are coming to an end. I am telling you so that you may prepare yourself for that day and what will come after... Nicholas will need you there to pick him up and get him through his coronation."
Once Felix had finished his meal, Charlotte was on her feet. She was excited to walk with Felix, as it was at least one guarantee for her that they would be alone. As she walked out, one of the maids came to Charlotte with little Jace in hand. Charlotte was quick to take her puppy and press her face against his soft fur as they headed outside. And once they were far enough away from the doors, Charlotte let Jace run off through the grass. The woman then looked over at Felix, and reached over, taking his hand into hers. After this afternoon, she felt a little more courageous in the act. "I have let my father know that we will be coming soon. He is very excited and it sounds like many of the nobles are looking forward to meeting you."

Camilla nodded. "I am so sorry to hear that." she said. She shouldn't have to tell Camilla to not tell anyone the affairs of the royal family. She bit her lip knowing she would need to see him sooner rather than later. She wanted to gain any knowledge he was willing to pas onto her. Camilla was glad she was getting this time with the queen as well. She had a perspective that would be invaluable to Camilla. She nodded as she talked about Camilla being Nicholas's strength after the coronation. She understood what she meant. She had seen that silent strength that held an underlying need. The silent plea for someone to understand him and help him with the deep pain. She wanted to be the one he could always count on in those times.
Felix stood with Charlotte and walked out after a loving goodbye with his mother and a playful one with his father. They walked outside and he smiled at the wiggling puppy in Charlotte's arms. It was the best thing to see her with that puppy. The amount of joy on her face brought him pleasure unlike anything he had felt before. Felix grinned as she took his hand. He walked with her as Jace ran around like the energetic puppy he was. "That is encouraging to hear." he said smiling. "I know it is a tense time after the war." he said softly and gently squeezed her hand.

"It is very unfortunate." The Queen said softly. "But I am lucky to have had him in our lives for as long as he was. The both of you will need to hold each other up while I deal with the funeral and the coronation arrangements. And some of our personal affairs as well... Watch out for those who will try to manipulate the two of you when you may be weak due to the tragedy. And remember that most help from nobles comes at a cost." She finished up her cup of tea. At the moment, she was considering another one. "I won't be able to shield you both from the nobles after his death but I will share the information I have on them all with you."
"Well, I can't promise that they will be particularly kind." Charlotte said honestly. It would be hard to believe that the nobles would be too welcoming of Felix. They would do so out of necessity but he still won the war. There would be hard feelings. "They want to meet you and learn about you. My nobles will not step out of line but they know how to cause their own problems. Though we will have to wait and see what they do when we first come." Gently, she squeezed his hand as they continued to walk.

Yelling came from behind them and Charlotte turned her head to see a group of castle knights running towards them. Her eyebrows furrowed together as the lead ran up to them yelling. "Prince Felix, Princess Charlotte, we must head back to the castle immediately! It is not safe out here for your majesties!"

Camilla nodded. She knew Nicholas would always be there for her in ways she could never dream and ways she had only dreamed of. He was that kind of a man and she was proud of that. One thing Camilla didn't understand was how someone would manipulate them because of the tragedy, but then people always did find a way to make anything happen if they wanted it bad enough. It was a really good tip about the nobles and she was right. It would have to be something she would learn which trades to make for the sake of the kingdom. She finished her tea nibbling on the food. The queen had so much experience she would gain so much from her. "I appreciate that immensely. I know I have so much to learn but I will make you proud." she said and thought of her mother in that moment. She hadn't thought of her in so long because she had been so young when she died but her mother had been an amazing queen as she had been told.
Felix smiled. "Aww well I can not even promise my nobles men will not speak out of turn. It is a fine art dealing with them." he said and kissed her hand. "Noble men are all alike no matter what country you are in my dear." he assured her he was aware of their potential for great trouble. "I always did love a good challenge." he winked at her knowing he really needed to study her customs before they left for the trip. The last thing he wanted was to be caught with his pants down.

Felix was the first to turn at the yelling. He frowned, he understood their worry but to cause such a commotion within the palace walls was a bit much. "Very well man we will follow you back but please show some reserve." he said and pulled Charlotte into him and whistled for Jace who came running. The puppy training was going well then. "Tell me what has happened." he said as they hurried into the castle. It was truly unlikely it was this much of a need to be so hurried and worried but he understood it was their job and he would allow them to do that much.

The Queen reached over and gently placed a hand against Camilla's. "I know that you will dear. And I will be here to help you figure out how to become Queen. There are many ways to do it, we just need to find yours." With that, the Queen motioned to a nearby servant to clear up the tea fro them. The Queen stood up from her seat, smoothing out her dress before turning back to Camilla. "We should head to Nicholas now and see how it has gone with the nobles. The both of you should also be discussing solutions. The sooner you decided on a solution, the better." With that, The Queen headed out of the gardens, full expecting Camilla to be in tow.
The knight looked at Felix a bit uneasy. "I am sorry your highness but The King has said to get you back immediately." The guards tended to want to follow Felix's orders, some of them having had fought with him in the war. Though what the King said was law, and they had a large amount of respect for him as well. Normally, the two were on the same page but this was a little different. The guards circled around the two of them and started to bring them back to the castle, moving as fast as they could without full on running.

Once Jace came back, Charlotte was quick to scoop him up before staying close into Felix. She felt much safer with Felix next to her. Her head lifted up, her attention turning to the lead guard as he started to speak. "It is best if you see if for yourself, Prince Felix. But the princess' room has been broken into and ransacked. We fear that an attack attempt is taking place. The guards are searching through the castle but we need to move you both to safety."

Camilla smiled softly and nodded. She hoped her way would be a way that would help Nicholas. Camilla smiled and stood with he Queen excited to see Nicholas after everything but she was nervous. What if the nobles had changed Nicholas's mind? She bit her lip and wrung her hands together as she walked behind the queen. She wondered what Nicholas had learned listening to the nobles. They walked into the castle and into Nicholas's study where he had retired to after all the commotion. She walked in and looked at him worriedly.
Felix nodded softly understanding their duty to their king. He listened to the guard and nodded. He would want to see for himself. He doubted an attack was taking place if they had only been to Charlottes room. "Are there any other rooms?" he asked following them. He understood the need for caution but it didn't make sense. He was known for his strategic thinking and plans. Something about this did not tell him an attack on the palace, if they where going to do they they would have go to the king's room or his own. Felix walked into the secured room and watched as the doors shut. He sighed. He hated this waiting. He would need to start carrying around a weapon of some kind just to feel prepared for events such as these. Any weapon in his hands was dangerous. He turned to Charlotte and rubbed her arm gently. "It will be alright." he said softly and then pet the puppy to calm it as well.

Nicholas was sitting in his armchair as The Queen and Camilla walked in. His eyes were closed, leaned back into the chair as he was relaxing after his chat with the nobles. They had a lot to say and he had found the whole thing rather exhausting. Though as the two entered, Nicholas opened his eyes open, smiling up at the two women. It was good to see them. "How was tea?" He asked them before motioning to the sofa in the room, wanting the two of them to sit down. Nicholas knew what they were here for but he wanted a few moments before they asked him about the nobles.

The Queen nodded before sitting down at the sofa and turning to her son. "Tea was pleasant. Camilla and I had a nice chat."
Once in the room, Charlotte set Jace down and immediately turned to Felix. Worry was all over her face as she looked up at the man. "It was my room Felix." She said, her voice dripping with fear. "Do you think someone was trying to hurt me?" She ran her fingers through her hair as panic continued to rise up. A million different reasons as to why her room was the target started coming through her mind. At home, she had made enemies from some of her decisions and she has certainly upset some people hear. It was hard not to when you had to make all the decisions. "O-or maybe they wanted something from my room. How did they even get in?"

Camilla smiled looking him over. He looked tired and stressed out. She wanted to sooth it all away but it wasn't her place yet. "I am very lucky to have your mother as a mentor." she smiled at him blushing softly. She wished that they could just talk about pleasantries and plan for the future instead of cleaning up this mess but there was no such luck. It wasn't long before the queen inquired about what had happened after they left. Camila listened as Nicholas went through it. She listened carefully already having to think of ways she might need to sooth particular nobles. Camilla wished they could just go back to the benign of the ball and finish out the lovely night together maybe sneak in one more of those mind numbing kisses but they had to deal with what was not what she wished.
Felix sighed at the fear in her voice hating that it was there. "Charlotte." he cupped her cheek pulling her into him and looking into her eyes. "Calm yourself my love." he spoke softly too sooth her. "Let us not speculate on anything right now. "At this point you are safe and we will keep it that way. That is all that matters. We will investigate these matters trust my knights." he ran his hand gently through her hair. "Now come sit down with me." he said knowing the amount of energy it would take for her to sit would be all he could ask from her. They sat and he rubbed her arm gently as he held her close soothing the worry from her best he could. When the guards returned he stood. "Did you find anyone?" he asked. They shook his head and he frowned sighing. "A poorly planed attack or not an attack at all." he said and the guards nodded. "Please take Princess Charlotte to my chambers and stay with her. I would like to see her room for myself first." He said and turned to Charlotte. "Let me go through first and see what is going on before you start going through everything and seeing what might be missing." he said and kissed her head. "Please go with them."

Once his mother asked the question he knew both of them were waiting for, Nicholas was quiet for a few moments. He did not know how to best explain what had occurred after they had left. It wasn't exactly pretty... Though Nicholas did not want to stress Camilla out more than she was already. He was also sure that the nobles would calm down once they looked at the evidence themselves, a chance they did not have before they decided to speak their minds.

"They are upset." Nicholas finally said. They both needed to know that but he was not required to go over every single detail or word that was said. "Many of them feel as though my decision was compromised and incorrect. Though I believe many of them will change their minds when they look at the evidence themselves... That being said, they will be upset for a few days and I think it would be best if Camilla has some additional protection when we leave the castle. I do not believe they will do anything but this will deter them from saying much to you themselves until after they calm down some."
Charlotte looked back at Felix, unsure if she should. Though, she nodded to him and complied, following the guards to Prince Felix's chambers.

As for Charlotte's chambers, they were in complete disarray. Her bookshelf had been thrown to the floor, many of the books on the floor with them wide open or pages ripped out. Her desk was overturned, every drawer opened and emptied of it's contents. The same could be said of her closet and her dresser. Even her jewelry box, her chest. Everything that could be opened had been and the items that had been contained open. There were even a few deep cuts in her floor, almost like someone was trying to pry it open. As for her bed, it had been ripped apart, having caused feathers to fly everywhere. All of her windows had also been broken. Though it seemed that many of the priceless items that Charlotte had were still there. None of her jewelry stolen. Her coin purse laid along the floor with the other items.

Camilla could hear it in his voice. She frowned looking down as he spoke listening carefully. Increased security? She wouldn't argue with Nicholas but she wished it didn't have to be this way. She knew Phillip also felt the same way many of the nobles did and she wouldn't be surprised is Phillip would continue to stir up the disapproval of the nobles that would listen to him. She looked up at Nicholas as he finished and she nodded. She honestly couldn't say she had expected any different. "When will we go to the country to help the people?" she asked him softly wondering when she could start to bring relief to the people of this country, her country. Camilla felt like she couldn't get out soon enough to help them. She hoped once they saw her passion for the people they would want to look at the evidence and see her incompetence. She rather come back from incompetence than them believing that she meant actual hard against this country and their people.
Felix frowned as he looked everything over. What a mess. He started to pick up her cloths checking to be sure nothing had been destroyed and if it had he sent it with a chamber maid for repairs. He picked up the books having the old ones recorded and disposed of, new ones would be ordered. Felix picked up her things putting them away himself going over things carefully. He left everything open so she could co through it all herself but he took everything off the floor. They would have to repair the floor later, int he mean time a rug would be placed down. He had the bed taken out and the room cleaned. The windows would take longer so in the mean time she would move to a room closer to him so he could look after her and his guards could look after her better as well until the windows were replaced. Felix had Charlotte sent for and he waited there putting something over the windows best he could to keep the cold out for now.

Nicholas took a moment to think about Camilla's question. Well, he had a few ideas on what they could do when they got to the town. And it definitely could not hurt. "We can't leave tomorrow but we will the next day. Tomorrow we will need to pack and finalize a few things." Plus, he wanted the extra day for the nobles to calm down and read the evidence. Hopefully, they would not try to get the people riled up. Nicholas doubted that they would or could but that was always a worry with something like this.

The Queen nodded to Felix before turning to the both of them. "In that case, I will leave you two for now. I am going to check up on your father." With that, she headed out. She did think it was best to let them have some time alone.
As Charlotte walked into the room, a deep frown moved over her face. Even with a quick glance it was clear that it was not the way she had left it before. There was a lot missing from her room, and it was a mess... though she had a feeling that Felix had picked up a lot of it. At least she was pretty sure that was the case with the fact that there was a rug, her bed was missing and he was now covering up her windows. Her head dropped as she continued to walk into the room. Books were missing, it seemed some of her clothes were gone as well... "Felix?" She brought her eyes back to him, fear rising in her voice. "What do you think happened?" It was hard to tell when it seemed a lot of it had been taken care of. Plus she had gotten the chance to look. Charlotte would like to think it was just a thief but she was afraid that was not the case.
