@ JesterOfGenocide;
Victoria stood up straight as the vampires began to line up. Every bone in her body was telling her to run, but her feet felt like they were stuck to the ground. She had begged and pleaded with her father to not make her get a vampire. Everything about them scared her to her core, and just being near one made her want to flea. Though her father quickly squashed her hope, telling her that it was not a choice. He wanted to look strong, and powerful, and one way to do that was to even allow his own daughter to own one of these file beasts. It showed the country that they were tamed, and that they were strong.
As they started to bow to her, Victoria held her breath. They all looked menacing with their long fangs. And of course there was not even a single woman in the line up. This was probably her father's doing...Perhaps it showed that even the males were tamed or something ridiculous like that. The owner urged Victoria to get closer to inspect the fine specimen that they offered. Only the best and most well trained, he assured her. Though her instincts told her to move away, Victoria took a small step forward and started to walk down the line. She knew she would get in trouble if she turned them away. So it was best to just pick one and send them to work for someone else in the castle.
Her eyes quickly glazed over the slaves before her, trying to find whatever one seemed to be the less threatening. Though all of them looked pissed to be there....and hungry. And of course all of them were strong males. Goodness, why couldn't they throw in a weak old man! That way she could just throw him in a corner with a book to read, and claim that he was too old to really do anything for her. After a few moments, Victoria waved to the man with the long blonde hair. She supposed that he would just have to do. At least this way she could get the rest of them away from her. "This one will do fine. Send the others away and prepare him." Victoria said before turning around and heading off, trying not to run while doing so.
