  • (I hope this is okay!)

Everything about New Orleans was glorious. They were safe here and they were making sure to avoid attracting attention to themselves. On top of that, Elijah was grateful to know that his siblings seemed quite happy with their lives here. And he was happy with how his life had developed here as well. There was a certain wonder to New Orleans, a beckoning and addiction that kept his interest more than he thought was possible. And, to be honest, he know all of the allure of New Orleans was due to the beautiful Eleanor de Rue, who had become a central part of his life since his and his family's arrival to New Orleans. He felt incredibly lucky that she was still in his life to the point.

The woman had certainly captured his attention and his heart and he wasn't even certain over how she had managed to accomplish such a feat. But, then, he wasn't even certain over whether she was fully aware of the attraction he felt for her or the way she held his heart in her grasp. He'd made sure to let her know how much he adored her, of course, but he wasn't sure that simple words could explain his adoration as well as he would have liked. It didn't matter, he supposed. She was his and he was hers and that was all that he really cared about, aside from his family's safety and happiness.

Watching her after he woke, he reached his hand out, gently running his fingers through her hair. If he could be like this with her every day for the rest of his life, he'd consider himself truly lucky. Even just having her here, next to him now was enough to make him feel as though the cursed life that followed himself and his family wasn't as cursed as he had once believed. No, right here, right now, he felt that nothing could possibly ruin his happiness. He had Eleanor and that was all he needed.
There was an air of comfort as Alice began to stir in Klaus' bed. There was a sense of security that she felt while sleeping next to the original, despite how well she knew of the danger that surrounded the man, of the very danger that he was. She didn't mind the danger, though; she'd fled danger so often in her life - the very danger that left her in New Orleans and drove her to meeting Klaus in the first place - that it was difficult to really acknowledge the danger openly. Instead, she embraced it, thankful to know that Klaus cared for her and that, with him around, she was safe from whatever dangers may be outside his home or on the streets of New Orleans.

Her curious eyes watched him idly, mostly wondering over whether he was awake or asleep. Even in the months that they had been together, she still wasn't sure whether sleep was even necessary for him. But he seemed peaceful on mornings like this, where the bright sun slipped into the windows and casted over his features, highlighting his hair and cheeks. It made her smile and she drew closer to him, only resting her head upon his chest as her eyes closed over again. Perhaps it was selfish to enjoy these little moments of silence by herself, but she didn't entirely mind.

Still, she supposed it would be best to wake him, if he hadn't already stirred. Her head still resting upon his chest, she called out a quiet, "Klaus, isn't it time for you to wake? I assume you'd be busy today." Her tone was teasing and, with a small grin, she lifted her head and hovered over him to peer down at him as she arched a brow. "As certain as I am that you could very well survive a long sleep, you can't sleep forever. Not all of us have forever, after all, and I would quite like to spend what time of the day I can with a version of you that is awake."

  • Everyone she knew in New Orleans had told her to stay well away from The Originals. They were no good, all that came to them was death and destruction. They only cared about themselves and no one else around them. She understood why they warned her to stay away. She was a werewolf after all and the vampires had always been their number one enemy, but Elijah never cared that she was. There was this beautiful attraction she had with Elijah from the very moment her eyes had found him. She never looked back from that point and proved everyone wrong about Elijah Mikaelson.

Eleanor felt Elijah stir beside her. She wanted nothing more than to stay in this very bed with Elijah all day. She never wanted to move her head from his chest or for him to move his arms from around her. She adored every single little piece of the man who laid next to her. He made her feel so safe, happy and loved. Those feelings were something she hadn't felt for a long time until she had met him. Having him by her side was the only thing she wanted.

His fingers gently ran through her hair which made a smile curve onto her face. A small hum of delight escaped her lips as she nuzzled into his chest. "This is the only way I wish to be woken up from now on," she mumbled into his chest before letting out a soft laugh. She shifted her head just slightly so she could look at the handsome man she called hers. Sometime she could even believe that she was the lucky one who got to have him by their side and to top it all off, have their family actually like her presence around them.

It took awhile for the rest of the Mikaelson family to warm up to the fact that their brother was seeing a werewolf. Rebekah was a bit put off in the beginning, but all she wanted was for her brother to be happy and she had seen how happy she could truly make him. Klaus was by far the most difficult. He was amused in the beginning that his brother was seeing a wolf and the way his eyes glared at her made her feel so uneasy, but his was his girlfriend, Alice, who helped her and Klaus get along. Her and Alice got along so well and that made Klaus give her a chance. She still wondered how she got so lucky.

"I hope you do not have much planned for the day, Elijah. I do not plan on letting you out of this bed any time soon," she told him with a grin. Her finger traced small circles on his chest as she finally lifted her head and moved her body so she could hover above him.
The moment the sun hit his face, Klaus was awake, but he didn't dare move from the comfortable position he was in. It was very rare for him to wake without a single worry clouding his thoughts. Ever since he got with Alice, those worries barely plagued his mind. It was almost a relief when the first thought on his mind was about the beautiful woman who shared his bed. He thought about her warm her body was against his, how her touch still sent shivers down his spine and how he loved seeing her beautiful eyes looking up at him every morning. This is how he wanted things to last. He wanted this to last forever and not become who he once was.

Looking back, he despised who he was. He couldn't understand how Elijah and Rebekah still stood by his side even after everything he had done to them. Apart of him was still the old Klaus however; he still loved having grown men shaking in their boots and he still needed everyone to understand that he was the one in charge, but Alice had settled him down. She had managed to find the good buried deep, deep inside of him. Even he wasn't sure how she had managed to do that.

He felt her moved close to him and soon enough he heard her voice. A smirk almost made it's way onto his face, but it didn't have the chance to make it there when it hit him once again what she was. Her words reminded him that they didn't have forever; not his forever anyway. There would be a time where he would have to say goodbye to her because he couldn't bare to change her into what he was. She didn't deserve to become a hybrid or a vampire.

Klaus pushed the thoughts away and peaked at eye open at the beautiful brunette hovering above him. "Good morning to you too, Love," he replied back in the same teasing tone. He lifted an arm so he could run his fingers down her spine and a smirk spread across his face. "I'm sure it isn't even lunch time yet, Love. We still have the whole afternoon and evening to enjoy together," she stated. His arm wrapped around her lower back before he quickly flipped her around so he was the one hovering above her. "What shall we do first?" `

  • There was a rumble of a chuckle escaping Elijah upon hearing her first statement. That was another thing that he loved about Eleanor: she was capable of bringing him to laughter, which was rare. The man was usually only faintly amused, shown by quirks of his lips that could be a mix of a smile and a smirk, and, with Eleanor, the amusement was much more obvious. Perhaps it was because he felt it was easier to be amused by the woman he'd come to adore so much.

"I will make sure to commit that to memory," he assured her gently, because knowing these small details was important to him. He wanted her happy, after all, and being aware of the things that pleased her was something that he was sure would make her happy.

But, then, she was hovering over him and it took him a moment to register her words when he was so distracted by her beauty. Such a thing was usually the case, though, because it was still difficult for him to believe that he could ever be lucky enough to have captured her attention as she had captured his. "Is that so?" he asked once her words registered in his mind. A smile formed on his features and he cupped her face to pull her down so that he could capture her lips the way she had captured his affection. She was like a drug, causing him to be addicted and practically making him beg for more. He never wanted to be without her, never wanted to lose her.

When his lips parted from hers, he brushed her hair from her face and eyed her while his smile was still very present. "My day seems to be very free all of a sudden," he mentioned casually, though there was amusement present in his voice. "I assume it must be my lucky day, if I'm meant to share this bed with you for as long as you deem necessary." And, he certainly wasn't going to complain about spending as much time with her as he could. He was certain that, if his siblings needed him, they would understand why he would likely be in the bedroom he shared with Eleanor so long without them having to ask. That didn't mean that they wouldn't likely tease him about it, but he didn't entirely mind. They seemed as happy for him as he was.
A slight shudder ran through Alice when his fingers trailed along her spine and his words made her grin. "Well, you do make a good point there," she hummed out quietly, though she let out a quiet laugh when he flipped them. Her head rested on the fluffy pillows and she stared up at him. "I can think of a few things we could do," she chimed, her grin broadening as she eyed him. Her hand lifted, her fingers trailing along his cheek, and she lifted her head to press her lips to his for a few moments.

Before she had met Klaus, she was much more reserved and likely would have never even dreamed of waking in a bed next to a man she wasn't wed to. But, Klaus had charmed her and she couldn't possibly imagine waking to anybody other than him, even if she knew that such a reality may not be possible. She wasn't like Klaus and his family, she was only human. And, while she loved Klaus, she didn't want to be a vampire. Klaus didn't seem to want her to be one, either, so at least there were no arguments surrounding her determination to remain human. It felt selfish, but she tried not to think too much about it.

Dismissing her own thoughts as early morning fodder of the mind, she pulled free from the kiss, more so to tease Klaus than anything else. It was nothing new; Klaus brought out a side of Alice that she hadn't even been aware of having. And, despite warnings that he'd change her for the worse, there was nothing toxic about the way she'd changed. She'd opened up more, learned to observe, and had allowed herself to fall for the man. There was nothing bad about that and she was fairly relieved to know that she was still a good person - and that Klaus seemed fond of the person that she was. There was no reason to change and no reason for anybody to worry.

"How long are you free today?" she asked softly as she eyed him. "I plan to make every moment I have you to myself, before you have some business to attend to, worthwhile." She grinned, all teasing and amused, and allowed herself to relax.
    November 19th, 2016 at 11:05pm
  • "Is that so," Elijah said to her which only made a grin appear wider on her face. She nodded her head in agreement. It was so, she was not giving him much of a choice. Even if he had something to do today, she was going to try and draw the time out for as long as possible since she wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.

Having this man around him was like a drug and he was oh so addictive. It felt like she was on a high everytime she was around him. Everything just seemed so perfect and she felt incredibly happy. Having his lips against her own made her weak in the knees and her heart flutter. Even after all this time, she couldn't believe he still had this effect on her. Eleanor had dated several men before Elijah stormed into her life. None had ever been like him.

When Elijah's lips moved from hers, a groan almost escaped. She never wanted his lips to leave hers. It always felt far too amazing. She opened her eyes as he brushed her hair from her face and a smile appeared back on her face. "Your day was rather free before I even told you this, Elijah," she told him with a soft laugh. "Not that I was giving you a choice; your day was always going to be free whether you liked it or not," she teased before pressing her lips back against his quickly and moved back upright; straddling the original vampire.

"I believe it is Elijah," she began; amusement in her voice. She placed her hands on his chest. "We still have many hours until we have to get ready to go out tonight with your siblings. Lets hope no one else needs your attention today," she stated. Evie leaned back over to connect her lips back against his. She hoped for one day that the Mikaelson's didn't need to attend any meetings or to sort any one out. She wanted just one full day with Elijah and she didn't want anything to ruin that.
Klaus' eyes stayed on her as she lifted a hand to trail her fingers along his cheek. A crooked smile formed as he enjoyed such a simple touch. He never thought someone would ever look at him the way Alice did. She didn't see him for the monster he could be and he never thought he could be anyone except for that monster. How she proved him wrong.

Her head lifted and his eyes fluttered close when her lips reached his. He moved a hand to cup the back of her neck; pulling her in just a little bit more before she moved her lips away. "This sounds almost interesting. What are these few things that we could do?" Klaus replied teasingly. He knew exactly what she meant, but he couldn't help but to tease her just that little bit.

Sometime he still couldn't believe that he, the original hybrid, had fallen in love with a human. There were those who tried to mouth off at him and tease him for it, but they didn't have a tongue or a head for much longer. She was only supposed to be a bit of fun and maybe even his dinner, but before he even got around to compelling her, she began to talk to him. She was intelligent, kind and absolutely beautiful and he kept coming back for more. He always believed that love was a weakness and he was glad that she had shown him otherwise. He had become so much stronger with her by his side, but he was always still worried that someone would come after her.

"You have me all day my love," he stated. "unless someone decides to have some important business that I must attend." He moved his hand from the back of her neck and ran his fingertips down her arm. "For now, no one is interrupting us."
    November 26th, 2016 at 07:43am
  • There were certainly no complaints coming from Elijah. If Eleanor was set in the decision that he would not have anything to attend to until it was absolutely necessary, there was no way that he was going to part from her. He planned to enjoy whatever time he could with her and, if he was allowed that without any interruptions, he absolutely intended to use that option while he could. There wasn't always an opportunity for him to just spend his day relaxing with her, after all, and he wanted to do so today, especially when they were both free.

"In that case, I see no reason why we shouldn't enjoy our day together," he told her with a fond smile, his eyes wandering over her features. How he could be so lucky as to have this woman, a woman who was beautiful inside and out, as his, he didn't fully understand. But he wouldn't change it for the world. All he wanted was her and, if he could continue to be this lucky to have her by his side, he would be the happiest man to ever live.

When she moved to straddle him, an amused expression passed over his features and he rested his hands upon her hips to keep her stable. "I suppose all my decisions should be left to you. It seems that your decisions happen to be the most important ones - and certainly the best I've heard," he decided quietly.

And, then, her lips were against his again. With a smile, he returned her kiss happily, one of his hands trailing up her form so that he could brush his fingers against her cheek whilst drawing her ever closer to himself.
"Almost?" Alice asked with a teasing pout as she stared up at him, "I'd think my ideas would be more than just almost interesting. How dreadful if my ideas don't attract your attention as much as I hoped." Her pout turned into a smile after that, her eyes watching him idly. She felt comfortable there, with his attention fully on her, and she couldn't imagine anything better than knowing that he adored her as much as she adored him, even if they could only enjoy times like these for so long.

She didn't think it was possible to feel as comfortable in somebody else's presence as she did in Klaus'. Despite her being a human, she knew that he wouldn't harm her. She knew that he wouldn't allow harm come to her. She was safe and that was a wonderful feeling to her. It was likely considered odd to feel this safe in the presence of likely the most dangerous person she knew. But, she knew he was so much more than just danger.

He was the man she wanted to wake up to all the time, the only man whose touch she wanted to feel. She knew she wouldn't be allowed this, not with her being a human, but she wished to be allowed this for as long as possible. Even if as long as possible wasn't nearly as long as she would like.

"In that case, I hope nobody decides to have important business that you have to attend to," she murmured quietly, "That way, I can show you what my ideas are." Her teasing grin returned and she brushed her lips against his once more.

  • Eleanor wasn't too happy. All she truly wanted to do for the day was be with Elijah, but that was thrown out of the window the moment she heard Marcel's voice ringing throughout the compound. Klaus was needed and if he was needed than so was Elijah. That was the way it always went.

It had been months since she was able to spend a whole day with Elijah. A day for them to enjoy eachothers company, explore and do whatever they wanted to do. There was always something that the originals had to take care of whether it was with the witches, the humans, the wolves or the vampires. There was always some form of drama they had to deal with before it escalated into a killing spree.

With a soft sigh, Eleanor walked out of the compound with Alice in tow. If she couldn't have Elijah by her side then she was going to have her closest friend there instead. She ran her hands over the dress she wore; smoothing out some of the wrinkles as they stepped onto the streets of New Orleans. She was glad she had gotten along with Alice from the beginning. It wasn't just because she wanted to win over Klaus, but because she never had any friends outside the werewolf community. Things may have simmered down between the wolves, vampires and witches, but it was still hard for them to be completely united.

"How do you feel about a little shopping and some lunch?" She asked her friend. She looked over at the stunning with a small smile on her face. "Find something cute to wear to the theatre tonight," she added in with a soft laugh.
    November 27th, 2016 at 12:36am
  • It wasn't fair. Alice wasn't normally a selfish person - nor would she openly complain about her time with Klaus being interrupted, - but she was selfish when it came to relaxing with Klaus, especially when it happened so rarely. And it wasn't even surprising that it was Marcel who had come calling for Klaus. As much as she respected Marcel, there seemed to always be some kind of issue happening whilst she was relaxing with Klaus. And, she knew that wasn't Marcel's fault, but it still left her feeling upset and bitter when things like this did happen.

At least she wasn't alone, though. While she got along well with Rebekah, Eleanor was certainly her best friend. And, Eleanor was at her side, which made not having Klaus around more bearable. At least Eleanor understood what it was like to be involved with a Mikaelson brother who could end up having some form of business to attend to on days they were previously meant to just relax together and enjoy themselves. Having somebody to talk to made things easier, even if she generally avoided talking about her disappointment and instead preferred to talk about anything and everything so that she could keep herself distracted from that disappointment.

And, as usual, Eleanor seemed the best bet at that because, instead of bringing up the disappointment that Alice was sure her friend also felt, she began making suggestions to keep them busy. "I think that's a wonderful idea," she decided with a small grin as she looked over. "We can look for something to bring out your eyes," she teased lightly while she nudged her friend gently. "And then we can enjoy the best lunch possible and look forward to tonight." Surely, Klaus and Elijah wouldn't be too busy as to miss the plans for tonight, after all. It had already been in the plans, so there was no reason that something coming up would get in the way.

Turning her attention ahead, she gave a quiet, thoughtful hum. "So, to a boutique perhaps?" she suggested after a moment, figuring it was the best bet to find something suitable. "And then we can head to out favorite spot for lunch and then do whatever we want until it's time to head back to the compound and get ready?"
    November 27th, 2016 at 01:10am
  • "I believe it is a wonderful idea as well," Eleanor laughed softly in reply. Retail therapy was always something that made Eleanor happy. Even if she didn't buy anything, she enjoyed just trying something on. Another laugh came from Eleanor as Alice spoke once more. She nudged her friend back. "Well, we must find something that will make Klaus speechless considering that doesn't happen often," she teased back with stirring grin. "That sounds perfect," she added in.

She truly did enjoy Alice's company. There was something special about the girl that she knew Klaus could see too. She was intelligent and beautiful, but there was this fire inside of her that most humans didn't have. She was a calm and grounded person and she knew that was one of the reasons that Klaus had calmed down a lot more than what he used to be.

Eleanor's eyes took in the sights of New Orleans as they walked the streets side by side. She had been here since she was born, but it was still one of the most beautiful towns even if she knew what happened behind closed doors.

"I know exactly what boutique we can go to," she grinned in response. It had become one of her favourite places to shop. It had only opened a few weeks prior, but she never left there without a bag or two in her hand. It was small, but the clothing they had was absolutely beautiful. "It's close to our favourite lunch spot."

As they grew closer to the store, Eleanor had a terrible feeling settling in the pit of her stomach as shivers ran down her spine. Something just didn't feel right. Maybe it was just the situation that Elijah and Klaus were dealing with. If it was, she knew she would be fine. The two of them would stop it no matter what they had to do. She bit down on her bottom lip; trying to push the feeling of dread off to the side.

"Tonight will be rather interesting since Klaus has finally let Marcel and Rebekah openly see each other," she stated; pushing open the door to the boutique. She glanced over at the lady behind the register and gave her a friendly smile before looking back towards Alice. Her eyes went past her to the man that stood on the opposite side of the street. Well, she swore that there was a man there. The moment she blink he was gone.
    November 27th, 2016 at 11:03am
  • Alice blinked several times, though it wasn't long before a quiet laugh escaped her lips when she registered her friend's words. "Klaus? Speechless? I assume you're well aware of the fact that he absolutely loves to talk - or to hear himself talk at the very least," she mentioned with amusement, "I doubt it will ever be possible to render him of all people speechless, regardless of whatever dress I may wear."

She loved Klaus, of course, but she was well aware of his way with words and the fact that he did in fact seem to love talking. She couldn't rightly blame him; he had a way of weaving words together in a way that was almost as beautiful as his art. She was certain he could likely persuade anybody to do as he wanted them to without his compulsion, just with the use of his words. Or perhaps it was his accent.

Still, she smiled as they entered the boutique and she allowed herself to glance around for a moment or two, though she nodded in agreement to Eleanor's words. "I think they deserve the chance to be happy," she said after a moment. All of the Mikaelsons did, after what they had been through - even if they'd caused plenty of pain themselves. They were changing from when she had first met them and it seemed like they were changing for the better.

And, she knew that Eleanor deserved happiness just as the Mikaelsons did. Eleanor was a kind, genuine person. Alice trusted her perhaps more than she even trusted Klaus (though that could be in part because of Klaus' feeding habits) and she knew that Eleanor made it easy to like her. It was easy to open up to Eleanor as well and Eleanor wasn't the type of person to judge so easily or quickly; overall, Eleanor was the kind of person that Alice wanted to be.

When she glanced to her friend, however, she blinked. "Is something wrong?" she asked, seeing that Eleanor looked distracted, even if only momentarily.
    November 28th, 2016 at 07:58am
  • Eleanor couldn't help but to laugh along with her friend. Niklaus Mikaelson was not one to be speechless. He was like her; he loved to talk. There had never been a situation they had been in since she had met the great Klaus where he had nothing to say. He would always be able to find the words without a moment of hesitation. "I'm well aware of Klaus' ability to never keep his mouth closed," Eleanor responded with another laugh. "Well, we will never be able to render him speechless with that kind of attitude, Alice," she teased with a playful smirk on her face.

Her eyes scanned the small room; deciding where to begin the hunt for the perfect dress. She soon moved towards the rack closest to her left, slowly going through each piece and scrutinized every detail about it.

Eleanor was still aware of the feeling deep in the pit of her stomach. Something still wasn't right and she truly hoped nothing would come of it and that Elijah and Klaus were okay. She kept her mouth closed; not wanting to worry Alice. "They all deserve so much happiness," she commented.

She believe that they did. Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah; they deserved to be happy even if they hadn't always been the people they were now. They had all grown and that happiness in them now had changed them for the better. She was glad she was able to do that for Elijah. She could remember how he used to be when they first met. He could be almost as ruthless as Klaus.

Her head turned in Alice's direction with a small frown on her face. "I don't believe it is anything to worry about," Eleanor began slowly. She knew that would never put Alice's mind to ease and that her friend would want to know absolutely everything. She couldn't lie to Alice. "I think that, whatever situation Elijah and Klaus had to leave for, is rather serious." Eleanor bit down on her lip softly and turned to look back at the clothes in front of her. "I think the vampires are playing up. I'm sure the boys have it under control," she said softly.

That feeling she had deep in the pit of her stomach was telling her that she, the wolf, was the hunted.
    November 29th, 2016 at 02:49am
  • Alice wasn't entirely sure what to think when her friend explained her worries - or, at least, elaborated on them. There wasn't much of an explanation and it sounded more like an assurance than anything else. It worried her, though, because she could tell that her friend looked bothered and she wished to understand what could have Eleanor appear on edge.

Then again, she supposed it could be that whatever trouble Klaus and Elijah were dealing with, it might inevitably come hers and Eleanor's way. After all, it was no secret that the pair were involved with the Mikaelson brothers. Moreover, the Mikaelsons in general had many enemies and that amount only seemed to increase with each passing day.

It was easy to know that they were on the line, in a sense. Enemies the Mikaelsons had would use those the Mikaelsons cared about - or at the very least, those that everybody thought the Mikaelsons cared about. And, well, she and Eleanor were likely at the top of the list, considering how close they were to the siblings.

But, Alice had accepted these thoughts the moment she knew what Klaus was and how his personality tended to... well, cause problems. She knew she was safe so long as Klaus was around, though, so she didn't worry too much.

"Well, it is Elijah and Klaus we're talking about. I'm sure they have it under control as well," she assured instead as she offered a small smile and shrugged slightly. "If they're even slightly worried, they'd get rid of the threat. It's what they seem to be best at."

Not that she entirely approved, but she did understand that it was necessary at times. She couldn't blame them for wanting to protect each other and wanting to protect Eleanor and herself.

"Let's just enjoy ourselves. If we worry too much, Elijah and Klaus will certainly notice and they'll try to drown us with assurances of our safety and such."
    November 29th, 2016 at 03:00am
  • Alice was right and she knew that herself. If there was even the smallest of threats then Klaus and Elijah would have it under control and if it got out of hand then they would dispose of whoever or whatever was causing it. She had no real worries that she wouldn't be safe with the Mikaelson family, but it was still nagging her. She was never one to worry or jump to the conclusion she wasn't safe. Something just felt different to what usually would be happening. Maybe she was just overthinking it, however.

Eleanor sucked in a deep breath before exhaling slowly. She needed to stop worrying so much. The boys had it under control and nothing should be bothering her since she was out with her friend preparing for the wonderful night ahead. She looked out the windows of the store one final time and only saw strangers walking down the street with not one person looking at her or Alice. She was just over thinking it.

"It's out of my mind. No more worries," Eleanor replied with a soft smile. "My focus is on finding the perfect dress and how we are going to enjoy a lovely lunch before we start to get ready for the night," she added in before putting her focus back onto the dresses and accessories surrounding her.

Flicking through the dresses and pulling out those that caught her eye, she glanced over at her friend. "I surely would drown if Elijah noticed that I was worrying about something," she told her friend with a light laugh. "He always has to make it known that I am safe with him and that no harm will come of me." She shook her head with amusement as she pulled one final dress out for her to try on.

"I have now completely consumed myself with shopping. I'm going to try these on," she told Alice with a grin. "You should try on that pretty little gold number over there," she stated to Alice, pointing at the dress at the very back of the store before she grinned at her friend and headed towards the changing rooms.

  • Alice let out a laugh to Eleanor's words and she nodded slightly in response. "Yes, I do believe that Elijah would do everything he could to assure you that you're absolutely safe with him," she teased lightly but her smile softened. "He really does adore you, after all. You two are pretty adorable together." Nudging her friend gently, she offered a small grin.

For the most part, she was just glad that Eleanor was happy. And she was glad that Elijah was happy, too. With the pair being happy together, Alice couldn't possibly be happier for them in return. They worked so well together and it was so nice to see.

Blinking, her eyes went to the dress that Eleanor had pointed to and, for a moment, she was surprised that Eleanor had spotted it since it was so far in the back. But, then again, Eleanor was a werewolf, so her senses were stronger than Alice's, who only had the normal limited human senses. Nodding, she watched her friend disappear into the back before she moved.

She headed straight for the dress Eleanor had gestured to. Upon closer inspection, it was pretty obvious that it was completely gorgeous. Shifting, she reached up to pull it down, her fingers running over the fabric. If this dress suited her well and fit her well, she was definitely going to get it.

  • [this is terrible sorry]

Eleanor smiled at Alice's words. She knew how much Elijah adored her; he reminded her almost every single day how much he did. He was the sweetest and kindest man she had met in New Orleans. Sometimes she didn't believe that she deserved a man like him, but he truly made her happy. She never smiled or laughed as much as she did around him. He made her feel like the luckiest woman in the world.

A grin was set on her face as she entered one of the dressing rooms. She couldn't wait for tonight. It wasn't just because she was going to be back beside Elijah, it was because it was the whole family. Elijah, Niklaus, Alice, Rebekah, Marcel and herself; that was something that never happened before. The only time that ever really happened was when there was a threat that might not be able to be controlled. That was the only time everyone got together; to make sure everyone was safe, but tonight was not like that. Everyone was going out to enjoy the theatre and enjoy each others company.

"You better show me what that dress looks like on, Alice!" She shouted from the change room as she quickly changed into one of the three dresses she had chosen. The moment the pretty, black dress was on her body, she looked over herself in the mirror. She liked the way black dresses looked on her. She very rarely purchased dresses that were any other color.

She pushed her brunette locks behind her ears and grinned at herself in the mirror before she pulled the curtain open. The smile dropped almost instantly as a shiver of dread ran up her spine. Her heart felt like it was going to burst out of her chest. Something was not right and she felt like someone was watching her again.

Out of the corner of her eye she saw a dark figure and it made her panic. She turned her head slowly and stood up straighter as they began to move towards her. Her eyes landed on the man, the same man she had seen standing on the street, but this time he had blood smeared on his face and that only screamed to her that he was a vampire.

"Who are you?" She questioned him. She was starting to worry, not about herself, but for Alice. She couldn't let anything happen to her friend since she didn't have the power to defend herself.
