snowed in

Lennox smiled as Avalon pulled them into the girl's driveway. Lennox had decided to spend their Christmas break with her best friend. It was better than going to her house where everyone argued and didn't get along. She got out of the car, grabbing her bags. It was just starting to snow. "Your house is no nice Avalon." She said, smiling at her friend. She walked into the house behind her friend, looking around. She smiled when her parents greeted them. Lennox looked at Avalon, "Where should put my bags?" She asked her. She followed her up to the room, setting her stuff down. Sure she brought a lot of stuff, but Lennox had always been someone who cared about her appearance. Lennox looked over at the door when she heard someone come in downstiars. She realized it was Avalon's brother. "Looks like your brother is here." She said, smiling. Lennox had never met Josh, but she had heard a lot about him.

Once Lennox was settled in she walked down the stairs with Avalon, seeing that he had brought a friend as well. Lennox smiled as she felt the guys look at her. She watched as Avalon's parents talked to them. Once their parents walked away to return to the kitchen Lennox looked at the boys, "Hi." She said, smiling.

Tanner sighed as they pulled into Josh's driveway. "Thanks for letting me come to your place this year man." He said as they got out of the car. He grabbed his bag, then walked into the house. He was surprised that Josh's parents met them at the door. Tanner wasn't use to being greeted like that. He looked up as the two girls came down the stairs. His eyes moved to Josh's sister. He had seen pictures of her, but those pictures did her no justice. She was gorgeous and he couldn't peel his eyes away from her. He watched as their parents left, then looked over as Avalon's friend spoke. "Hey." He said. He looked at Josh, not sure where his friend planned to put him for the time.

Avalon nodded her head, "looks like he brought along a friend as well," she replied knowing that her brother would be home for Christmas given this was her brother's favorite time of year. And there was no way that Josh would miss coming home for Christmas or their mom's famous Christmas dinner. What she hadn't known was that he was bringing home a friend. And it wasn't like she could say much since she'd brought someone home with her as well, but she had at least let him know. He hadn't told her a thing. She wasn't upset about it though because honestly the more the merrier. "Glad to see you made it home okay," Avalon said to Josh once their parents were out of the room. "And that you brought a friend, I'm Avalon by the way. And this is my friend Lennox," She added introducing herself to her brothers' friend.

Josh smiled at his sister and his sister's friend, "glad you made it home okay too. And it's nice to meet you, Lennox." He said nodding his head towards her. "This is Tanner a friend from school." He said figuring he should tell them how he knew Tanner, even it was obvious that he knew him from school given it wasn't like Josh went out and did much else. "And I'm sure everyone would love to continue this riveting conversation, but I'm going to show Tanner where he'll be sleeping while he's here if you don't mind," he said motioning for Tanner to follow him.

"I don't mind," Avalon said moving out of the way so Josh could show his friend to the guest room. "Just make sure you point out which bathroom is which," she said as they walked away in hopes he would actually do it, because Avalon didn't want to end up cleaning up her bathroom after some boy she didn't know because Josh never told his friends which bathroom it was okay to use.

Lennox smiled as the boys walked away, "Okay so those two and don't find this weird. They are some pretty attractive guys." She said, laughing softly. Lennox looked at her friend, "So what do you guys usually do for Christmas? Like your family traditions and what not?" She asked as she waited. She was excited to spend the holiday with her friend. Her family's idea of Christmas was her parents sending her expensive gifts from what every vacation they were on. Lennox walked to the living room with her friend and sat down.

Tanner smiled as Josh's sister, "It's nice to meet you Avalon." He said. She was probably one of the prettiest girls he had seen in a long time. He gave her a small smile before he followed Josh up to the room he would be staying in. He walked in, setting his things down. "Thanks for inviting me to your house this year man." He said, as he set his bag on the floor. "It's gonna be a fun time." He said. He liked spending time with Josh and they always got into all kinds of shenagins.
