Clara was kinda disappointed when she found that out, so she wouldn't have much connection with her father, instead at camp he would show up? Or would he just give her some form of sign? She was a little pissed but she didn't let it show. She would have to wait until she got to camp to find out what would happen. When Mitch pulled into the fast food drive through she looked at the menu.
" A burger, large fries and a coke... sounds perfect... for me that is," she stated looking at him, even in the darkness she could see his eyes, they were bright, almost luminescent and the closer she moved to him the more she felt a strong heat radiating from him. She wondered if he glowed. That may have been a bit of a stretch. "So how long until we get to where we are heading?" she asked after he had placed the order.

Ethan was surprised at how tightly she had tugged his shirt, she really did seem worried, "Yeah, of course I'm not going anywhere," he nodded his head looking at the brunette his eyes darting to Lucas who was looking at him a cheeky smirk spread across his face. He was going to have words with him about that. Once he had reassured Meena and she had been led off to see Chiron he walked over and suited up for the daily game of capture the flag. His favourite time of the day. As he walked back to the Artemis cabin where his gear waited for him. He gave out several hi-fives and nods before he entered the cabin. Closing the door he sighed and got ready.

Mitch smiled softly. "Well we'll get there in another day and a half. Which considering how far I had to travel is pretty good." he said and smiled as he drove up to the window and paid. He smiled as they were given their food and he pulled into the parking lot and handed her food to her. He sat there with his food chowing down. "You know you're actually taking all of this quite well. I know it hasn't been easy but hopefully the drive will give you a nice transition from your old life into your new one. Because at least until you turn 20 you'll need to stay protected. And there is a lot of training to do to get you caught up and able to defend yourself." he said and smiled at her in the dark. She was kind of amazing and he wondered if she knew it. He finished up his food and tossed the wrappers int he back sipping on his drink. "Need a pit stop?" he asked.

Leena watched as Ethan left despite saying he wasn't going anywhere. She bit her lip and ran a hand through her hair once she was left with Chiron. She bit her lip as he looked down at her. "You're smaller that I expected you to be." he said and she blushed. "And I need to be big?" she asked and he laughed. "Nope. I see you got your father's big moth on you, you say what you like and mean what you say." he said and she crossed her arms. "Most the time." she said and looked at him suspiciously. He invited her to sit and have her an odd drinks he fell in love with. "It was something your father loves as well." he said and she looked sadly into the drink. "Will I ever meet him?"s he asked and Chiron frowned. Perhaps but not likely anytime soon, at least not directly." he said and she nodded. She asked him all her questions and got a lot of answers. Eventually he showered her around the camp and she saw things of legends and things of high school she remembered from just hours ago it seemed like. The glares of the pretty jealous girls, the stares from the player boys and the more subtle looks of the interested but respectful boys. Leena bit her lip as they stopped at what looked like a battle but what she assumed was a teacher watched over it calling out to the students about things they needed to know and remember. Leena watched and then suddenly she spotted Ethan and her eyes widened as she watched him move through the chaos. Girls on the sidelines swooned and others cheered and she couldn't help find herself gawking right along with them all.

Clara looked at Mitch as he spoke, she chewed through her burger and chips quickly not realising just how hungry she was, she was sipping her drink and nodded her head as she listened to him speak.
"Well to be honest. It kinda explains a few things that I have always found odd about myself," she admitted truthfully. She didn't want to elaborate. At least not yet. Clara liked the idea of learning to fight especially if more creatures like what she had just encounter came after her, she wanted to know she could destroy them. Clara nodded her head when he asked about a pit stop, she knew she had better have one now, it might be a while before she gets another one. Jumping out of the car she dashed to the toilets and within minutes was back out.
"Do you have any special abilities being the son of Apollo? Seeing as he is known as the god of music, heeling and pulls the sun across the sky... I can already tell you radiate more heat then a normal person... but any other special, hidden talents?"

Ethan left the cabin fully dressed in his armour and ready for the game to start. He walked up and took his side, he saw Leena standing next to Chiron, he shot her a smile and waved subtly before his attention turned back to the task at hand. Even though he had played this several times he thought it polite to listen to the Satyr in front of them rattle off the rules again. Before long he had finished and it was time for the game to start. Kids from the Ares cabin instantly began by ramming into people on the opposite team not heading straight for the flag which was what they were after. Ethan knew differently he took off before anyone could grab or ram into him. He ran through the grounds searching for the flag. He came face to face with a few opponents but dispensed of them quickly and continued on.
"Where is it?" he muttered as he hunted. the flag always seemed to be in an odd place.
He hoped Leena was okay. He should have asked her to join but forgot. He would talk to her once he had won the game.

Mitch anxiously waited for Clara to return listening and using his other senses to look out for trouble. He had already gone to the bathroom picked up a few things and got in the car. He bit his lip waiting then sighed as he saw her coming back out towards him. Mitch knew it took women longer to do some things but it still made him antsy to wait for her. He relaxed and started the car. As she got in he smiled and then started the drive out of town towards the camp again. "Other abilities?" he asked and smiled as she explained. "Well It's the heat that actually has some pretty amazing healing properties so it's like one in the same not two different things. I guess I have some musical talent but not anything otherworldly really, doesn't mean the few moral that have heard it weren't impressed." he said and shrugged. "Other than that I guess I can harness the abilities of the sun, but no I can't pull the sun anywhere." he said and chuckled. "That would be much to cosmic for a year demigod." he said and winked at her playfully. 'What about you. "Do you have any thing you know about other than the ability to make anything like you do?" he asked.

Leena watched what in most countries would be considered a full out war. Her mouth gaped open and she just stood there thinking it was barbaric. Chiron looked to her and chuckled. "Yes considering the human world you grew u in I am sure this is more violence then you have ever seen." he said and walked with her around the stadium. "But this is not just for fun. In the world unseen to humans monsters much like the one that came after you when you first came to know our world, often wage what you might consider a war on our kind and the things we hold dear." he said. Leena looked up at him. She frowned and looked down. Chiron nodded. "You must be tired. Let me show you to your cabin." he said. When they arrive Leena smiled and looked at him. He nodded and gestured her forward. "You know where to find me if you need anything and Ethan will be along soon to help you integrate." he said and Leena smiled. "Thank you Chiron. Oh when may I call my mother?" she asked and he frowned. "We will talk about it tomorrow. For tonight just try to get acquainted here." he said and she frowned but nodded then turned to the cain and walked in. She opened the door then the doors to the porch and breathed in the smell of salt. How were they this close to the ocean? She looked out and sighed as she stood there in the breeze just breathing it all in. It wasn't long before she riffled around in her cabin and found a bathing suit. She slipped into it and then headed down to the water. She pulled off the shirt and skimmed off the shorts she had put on for when Ethan did arrive. She walked to the edge of the dock the raised her arms and dove into the water feeling it embrace her.

Clara listened as Mitch spoke, she was fascinated by the things he was capable to do. "So your musical talents does that include singing or are you more of an instrument kind of guy?" she laughed when he mentioned about the pulling the sun across the sky and the wink he shot her caused her heart rate to rise. Clara shook her head.
"Not that I am aware of," the only thing I know I am good at is making things out of anything I have available and fixing cars, fridges, anything broken there is a chance I will be able to fix it. I have always had a fascination with glassblowing and sculpting. However I have never had the chance to try any of that out. Maybe one day."
She stopped talking for a few moments before asking another question. "So what is this place like you are taking me to?"

Ethan had received the arrow and returned to camp, his team mates were all cheering and he couldn't help the smile that was spread across his face. He called several apologies as he saw campers he had taken out in his haste, they were being led to the infirmary by the children of Apollo to be healed. He chucked the flag down and ran his fingers through his hair. He needed a shower he was covered in sweat, dirt and muck and he knew dinner would be soon so he had best go and change.
As he headed back to his cabin he hi-fiver several campers before entering his cabin and kicking his shoes off pulling his armour off and heading toward the bathroom. He wondered how Meena was, and where she was? What had her and Chiron spoke about?

Mitch chuckled. "Well I guess I can sing a little. I'm not that bad but not all that good either." he shrugged. "Really it's the guitar I am good at." he said and smiled. She told him about what she knew of her own powers and he knew she would find a lot more gifts she possessed once they got to camp. He smiled knowing she might get a chance to check out some of those interests at camp. She would have so much that would be dedicated to her. It was exciting really to see all her potential before anyone else could meet her. She asked about camp and he chuckled. "Well for different people it is many different things but most of all it is a place to learn how to protect yourself and our secrete either with your natural gifts or in other ways that will keep you safe. Monsters hunt our kind because our blood to them is a delicacy." he shrugged. "But don't worry you're safe with me. I went through extensive training in order to be your guardian." he said softly.

Leena walked into dinner looking around feeling completely refreshed. She looked about seeing people staring at her. They would have stared at her even if she hadn't dressed up but she figured since it was her first public appearance as the daughter to one of the three major gods. She smiled as some of the men gawked at her. She walked through the crowd until she found Ethan. "Hello Ethan." she said and smiled as he looked up at her. "Do you mind if I join you for dinner?" she asked him grinning noticing everyone watching the new girl.
