Milo walked through the park his hoody on as he decided he had to get out of his abandoned shack. Milo needed to go to the store anyways for food. He didn't like hunting for his food besides it was to dangerous. Milo carrie a nearly empty backpack. He had earbuds in but nothing played through them. It was simply to deter anyone that might want to talk to him. He pulled his hood down lower as he passed a group of people. Milo didn't want anyone getting a look at him. He kept going towards town and eventually saw a bunch of lights from the street lamps. He had forgotten how fluorescent screwed with his senses. He had been making his food rations last for the last month despite his raging appetite. It was a sad existence really but he had committed to it the moment things had went sideways.

Milo walked into he little shop and picked things out putting them in his basket and then walked up to the counter. He sighed and looked up at a girl who was staring at him like she had just seen a top celebrity. He coughed. "Umm this will be all." he said and then started counting out the cash. When she finally seemed to come too then he handed her the money she needed and he stuffed the things into the bag. "Thanks." he said and shook his head as he went to give her back change and pointed to the donation jar. "Have a good one." he said and started to walk out.

Allison sat in a tree above the ground where her dad had left her with her crossbow. She had been learning how to hunt werewolves for months now. Target practice had always been a thing in her home since she was little so she was a great shot. Allison looked at the time, realizing how late it was getting. She knew nothing really happened that late. She got down from the tree then walked back through the woods. She came out of the woods and put her things in her jeep. She sighed as she pulled the fingerless leather gloves from her hands. Allison looked over, seeing a guy walking down the road with a back pack. Probably just on his way home.

A loud gun shot rang off in the distance and a howl was heard through the sky. Allison looked at the guy, seeing the fear set in. She realized what he was and grabbed her weapon chasing him as he ran into the woods. The thin branches whipped her skin as she sprinted after him. Though she had lost him and stopped holding her crossbow tight. She gasped as she heard a branch craxk, turning to see him a few inches from the end of her crossbow. "Dont take another step." She said, seeing his canine eyes flicker in the shine of her flash light. Why was he not attacking? "I know what you are." She said.

Milo looked up hearing the howl of a wolf screaming to the others to run. His eyes widened realizing there must be hunters in the area. He took off towards the woods needing the cover. He ad just wanted to get food and get back without any trouble but he somehow wasn't going to get that. He ran through the woods with grace and speed until he realized there was something following him. He hoped up into a tree and watched as a girl passed. He jumped down behind her and she willed around. He came close to the bow in her hands and chuckled. Of course he ran into a hunter. Milo sighed. He had never decided what to do in this situation but he still felt he didn't deserve to live. Milo hung his head. "Why would I come closer? Cross bows are used better at a distance." he said and stepped back a couple times and then took his backpack off and set it down. She would get it to someone who needed it he was sure. "I am sure you think you know what I am hunter but probably in this case only are you actually right." he said his eyes tearing up. Milo sighed and dropped to his knees. "It's about time my deed caught up with me. Come on hunter what are you waiting for?" he asked and looked up at her a tear spilling off his cheek and onto the wood floor. He couldn't believe this she wasn't shooting already? Milo stood and walked up to her and pressed the silver tip were his heart would be. "Just do it already hunter!" he yelled the silver burning against his skin.

Allison stared at him as he begged her to end his life. "What is wrong with you?" She asked as she pointed the bow away from him and at the ground. "You aren't suppose to act like this." She said, shaking her head. Her dad had always told her that wolves didn't have human emotions. Allison frowned as she seen how broken the man in front of her was, "What did you do?" She asked him, stilling holding her weapon at the ready. For all she knew he was trying to trick her and was going to kill her. Allison bit her bottom lip lightly as she stepped back from him. She didn't want to be that close just in case.

Milo frowned and shook his head. "You don't understand what I did. I deserve this." he said and frowned as she lowered her weapon on him. "Don't do that. I am dangerous woman!" he said but his voice could hardly raise anymore. "I killed her." he said and shook his head a sob ripping from his mouth. "I kissed the woman closest to me. I... I can never be forgiven for that!" he howled and then sat there on the forest floor. "Just get it over with please end my suffering." he pleaded. Milo had no idea how much he was begging for death to steal away his pain until now.

Allison shook her head, "No." She said. She gasped when a man came out of the woods behind Milo. "Milo get up." Parker said. It was a member of his pack. "Get up." He commanded. He looked at the girl with the weapon. Allison frowned as she watched the man get to his feet. She looked over when she heard her name called. "Get out of here." She said to them. "Now!" She snapped. Allison stepped away from them then found her dad. "Over here!" She called, getting a flashlight shined on her as her dad approached. "We got one of them." He said. Allison looked behind her, thinking about the guy from earlier. He may have been a werewolf, but he was not what she was expecting.

Milo shook his head. "Why? I am a murderous animal." he said and looked up at he heard Parker tell him to get up. He whimpered and stood to the alpha's command. Milo looked at the woman before him telling them to leave. He picked up the bag and frowned as she snapped at them. He turned and followed Parker into the woods looking over his shoulder as the girl disappeared behind the trees. She had spared his life, why? Was it because of his desire for the pain to end? Why would a hunter spare him? Milo looked over at Parker as he lead him back towards the pack and he knew that Parker had been waiting for his return and it was time after a death of their own. "Who was it Parker?" he asked softly.

Parker looked at Milo, "It was Marcus." He said, frowning. Parker looked at Milo, "You need to quit trying to get yourself killed. What happened with Katie was an accident. You are more in control now." He explained to his friend.

Allison sighed as she began to pack up her things. She couldnt quit thinking about the guy from the woods. He was broken and sexy in a brooding way. Allison got into the car and went to get some sleep at her house

The next day she walked through the woods, keeping a handgun on her hips just in case. She was curious to find the man from before. Allison smiled as she seen him appear. He was alone which was good. "Hi." She said softly.

Milo drowned. Marcus had been good to him when things had gone bad. Milo followed behind Parker and hung his head moving into he house with the pack and curling up to sleep. He laid awake thinking of the girl that had spared his life until the events from the day had worn him out so much he fell asleep her image floating around in his dreams.
The next day he snuck out of the house and walked through the woods returning to the spot he had seen her in. When he heard someone moving through the woods he hoped up into a tree. Milo watched as the girl walked through the woods. There she was. He hopped down and then slowly stepped into her sight. She said hi and he smiled softly. "Hello." he said and rubbed the back of his neck.

Allison stared at him as he appeared, "Why didnt you hurt me last night?" She asked, "You are a wolf right?" She asked as she watched him carefully. He was even more gorgeous in the day. Allison knew she shouldnt be out there but something about him drew her in. She watched him then moved towards him, "Why do you want to die?" She asked

Milo frowned at her first question. "We may be part animals but no animal attacks without reason anyways. I was not frightened by you and I am in control of my animal side more than ever before." he said and frowned as she asked her next question. He shook his head and backed up. "Stay back." he said and ran a hand through his head. "Do you always get so personal after just meeting someone?" he asked. He didn't want to explain that right now but if she asked a slightly different question she would get her answer anyways. Milo sighed. "Why didn't you shoot me?" he asked.

Allison frowned when he told her to stay back, "Why should i stay back?" She asked. Allison frowned, "I didnt shoot you because you werent the monster i had been yold about." She explained. Allison bit her bottom lip lightly, "How long have you been a wolf?" She asked.

Milo frowned. "Because I am still an animal and you don't know me!" he said and ran a hand through his hair pacing lightly. He shook hie head. "We are not monsters but animals. We see you as pitchers if it makes you think differently about last nights murder." he said and frowned shaking his head. "I have been a wolf since I was 15." he said and stopped looking at her. Milo sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry this was a mistake. I should go make sure the pack is safe." he said and started to walk away.

Allison frowned and walked after him, grabbing him arm. God his body temperature had to be crazy because his skin felt warm. "Im not done talking to you." She said frowning. She was fiesty and she wasnt letting him leave. Allison glared at him, "Why was this a mistake?" She asked.

Milo growled softly as she grabbed his arm. He backed her up until her body hit a tree behind her. Milo placed his hand on the side of her head. "Why was this a mistake? Because girl you are a poacher and I am a monster. What good comes out of this kinds of interaction?" he asked his face so close to hers he could feel her breath upon his skin.

Allison gasped as he backed her up against the tree. "You dont act like a monster." She whispered. She looked up at him, not moving from the tree. She would be lying if she said she wasnt a little turned on by this. Allison smiled, "Im Allison by the way." She said.

Milo sighed and stepped bag. "Hello Allison my name is Milo." he said and leaned back against a tree. "So what do you think this is going to accomplish Allison. Cause I am not sure what you want from me or why I am even still here when I could easily loose you."

Allison shrugged, "I don't know. I just needed to see you again." She said. "I just couldn't understand why you didn't attack me." She said, shaking her head. She moved away from him, "So how long have you been out in these woods? Since you turned?" She asked. She was so curious about him because he made everything her dad ever told her a lie.

Milo sighed. "No I started living with the pack about three months after I changed. Not all wolves live in woods all the time." he said and sighed. "I was living in an old shack for the bast year and half but that was by choice. The social isolation had helped." he said though he knew it hadn't really helped just kept the pain at bay. "Why do you want to know so much?"
