  • Nixie hadn't noticed his growing book collection until he mentioned stopping so they had a reason to come back. Though, she was sure they could always find another reason to return to town. Her heart beat hard in her chest when he called her darling, Nixie tried to ignore that feeling. She waited for the prince to pay before exiting the store, seeing the darkness of the night taking over the small town. Behind them, the shopkeep closed the door, a lock sliding into place sounded behind them. "I suppose we were the last patrons. Do you suppose any other place aside from a bar is still open? Or do you wish to return... home," she asked, the castle almost slipped from her lips, but she was thankfully able to stop herself and think before finishing her sentence. Nixie could always return at a later time, with or without the prince, to buy more seeds as she wasn't too sure if that shop was still open.
Beck laughed at the fact she had referred to him as her future lover. The phrase was not untrue, though, and the thought of that moment happening at some point excited him. He stood and placed a hand on the small of her back before leading her back inside and to the kitchens. It would have been unwise for Beck to continue to hold her hand inside the walls of the castle. There were eyes everywhere and he did not wish for either of them to get in trouble for that action.

Inside the kitchen, he asked one of the chefs to whip them up a meal. The staff was cleaning the kitchen now with dinner done and a few of the staff were deciding on what would be served for breakfast in the morning. In what seemed like hardly any time at all, a stew had been prepared and tray made up for them to take wherever they pleased to eat. Beck carried it out of the kitchens, humming in thought of where they would sit and eat without being bothered too much.

  • Jason had procured a bag to carry all of his books in, and he held it over his shoulder after he tied it into a knot at the top so none of them could fall out. "I wouldn't mind going to the bar. I find I don't really want to go back quite yet," He told her, looking up to the sky and how dark it had gotten since they had entered the bookstore.

"What do you think, Nix? Would you go for a drink?" He asked, looking over to her with a smirk.
Cassie watched as the cooks prepared them a meal, and smiled and thanked them once they had prepared it and put it on a tray. She followed Beck out once he had grabbed it, and walked alongside him. "We could go to one of our quarters if you wish to not be disturbed? I'm not familiar with the castle and where is private, so forgive me for being forward," She said, looking over to him.
