Claire let out a quiet laugh. "I'm a woman of my word, I promise." She said. If she didn't have to worry about Jessie being worried about her, she definitely would have stayed for breakfast. But she knew that her friend would be worried about her not coming back last night so she couldn't do that to her. "Sometime this week possibly? I'm not really sure what Jessie and I were planning on doing the rest of the week, but I'll write you if you choose not to ignore me this time." She teased lightly. She knew that he wouldn't, and it would be easy enough for them to contact each other that way, much more convenient and inconspicuous than by owl too. She sat up and got out of bed, nodding when he said he'd walk her out. When they reached the door, she was kind of unsure what to do. Did she hug him like she had last night? Was that okay now? She didn't really know.

Draco smiled when she promised that they would get a raincheck on breakfast. He nodded when she answered his question about when they would see each other next, "Well I look forward to it." He replied with a smile. When he got to the door, he was a little nervous of what to do. He hadn't been in this kind of situation before. Not really. He had never been nervous with a girl until Claire, "I guess I will hear from you and see you soon." Draco spoke. He took a breath before he just decided to stop being so cowardly and he cupped her face in his hands and pressed his lips to hers. The feeling was beyond amazing. Better than any kiss he had ever had before. He pulled back quickly, "I'm sorry, that was stupid of me. We just met last night, but I mean we are soulmates after all...." He trialed off and looked hesitantly down at Claire with a smile.

Claire was already looking forward to seeing him again. She hoped that, within the next couple of days, they met up sooner rather than later. She'd waited so long to meet him, and she finally had, and she wanted to spend as much time with him as she possibly could without like totally ditching Jessie or something. "I guess so." She said with a smile. She wasn't expecting what happened next, and her eyes widened slightly when he kissed her. She was quick to kiss him back though, taking a step closer to him as she did so. The kiss was indescribable. She had never felt anything like it before, and it wasn't like she'd never kissed a guy before or anything like that either. It was over way sooner than she would have hoped though, and she had to hold back the frown that wanted to form on her face. She couldn't help letting out a quiet laugh when he started apologizing for kissing her. "I did kiss you back, you know..." She smiled.

Draco's eyes went wide at her words before he realized that she was right, "I guess you did." He replied with a smile. He closed the remaining distance between them and pulled her close for one more kiss, letting this one last longer than the previous one. This kiss still felt the same way that the first one had. Amazing beyond words. He now understood why everyone felt so free after sharing a kiss with their soulmate. Draco couldn't believe that he had finally been able to share a kiss with his, and realize what everyone got so excited about. He pulled away a few moments later, resting his forehead against Claire's before he grinned, "So I'll see you soon?" He questioned. He felt so free and happy. He had never felt like this before ever, and he loved it.

Claire couldn't help letting out a quiet laugh when she saw his eyes widen at her words. She couldn't help it, it was funny and honestly pretty freaking adorable too. She smiled and kissed him back when he kissed her again, this time obviously expecting it unlike the first time. And it felt just as amazing as the first one had, and she truly understood what people were talking about now when they described what it felt like to kiss your soulmate. It was somewhat hard to describe, but the best explanation she could come up with was that it felt freeing. She felt lighter than she ever had before, and when they both finally did pull away, she couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. "Definitely." She said quietly. She pressed her lips to his once more before pulling away completely. "I'll see you soon." She said before stepping outside and apparating back to the hotel.

Draco smiled at her words and nodded, "See you soon." He repeated and stepped back as she apparated out of his flat and back to her hotel. He was beyond thrilled that this had happened and he couldn't explain what it felt like other than he was on cloud nine. He made himself some breakfast as he got ready for his morning, feeling very giddy and such.

Jessie was sitting on the couch flipping through a magazine that the hotel had been nice enough to lay out for them when she heard the crack of Claire apparating into the hotel room. Jessie stood up and put her hands on her hips, "Claire Elizabeth Hoffman, where the hell have you been?!" She yelled at her best friend once she had gained her footing as she entered the room, "I've been worried sick about you!"

Claire couldn't stop smiling. Once she apparated back into the hotel room, she touched her fingers to her lips lightly before focusing her attention on her best friend. Well, she was trying to but she was just so freaking happy that she couldn't help thinking back to the kiss from moments earlier. She didn't think she'd ever felt this way before, and she knew it was different because of the whole soulmate thing but still. "I'm really sorry, Jess. I know I should have come back last night." Despite her apologetic tone, the smile still remained on her face. It was hard not to though, she was just so freaking happy.

Draco finished up his breakfast before getting dressed for the day. He often found himself thinking about the kiss with Claire and instantly a grin would come to his face. He just couldn't wipe it off either, this was different. This is the first time he could ever say that he had been truly happy. Completely and truly happy. Draco grabbed a pen and quickly rolled up his sleeve. Missing you already. He wrote, knowing it would go to Claire's arm.

Jessie raised an eyebrow at the dazed state that Claire seemed to be in. There was a goofy smile on her face and Jessie wasn't sure if she had ever seen her best friend like this before, "What the hell were you thinking? I don't think I've ever been so scared in my life." She scolded her best friend before she saw writing appear on Claire's arm. Jessie read it quickly before her eyes became wide, "You found him?" She questioned.

Claire knew that she was acting strange. She was acting like a lovestruck school girl, honestly. And that was not someone she ever acted like. "I know, Jess. I'm really sorry, I lost track of time and--" she was about to tell her friend about Draco when Jessie spoke again. She followed her friend's gaze down to her arm and the smile on her face widened a bit when she saw Draco's message. She smiled at her friend and nodded. "Yea, I did." She said. "That's where I was last night, we met, and we were talking for hours at his place last night, and I lost track of time and fell asleep there. But he's amazing, Jess. Absolutely amazing." She smiled and reached into one of the bedside tables for a pen before writing back. I miss you too

Jessie couldn’t believe the odds. Not only was her own soulmate here in Britain, but now so was Claire’s, and they both had met them last night. Instantly, Jessie’s worries and anger had gone away, “I’m so excited for you, Claire!” Jessie said happily, “What’s his name? How did you two meet? Give me answers, woman!” She yelled with a small laugh before a certain redhead popped into her thoughts and Jessie slapped Claire’s arm, “I almost forget to tell you! I found mine as well!” She exclaimed.

Draco smiled when he saw Claire’s message appear under his and he smiled before washing both off before he wrote another message, I hope Jessie wasn’t worried too much about you. He wrote before he tried to decide what he was going to do for the day. All he wanted to do was spend more time with Claire, which might have sounded weird if he hadn’t spent the last few years of his life shutting her out. He needed to make up for lost time.

Claire laughed when Jessie did a complete 180 and started asking her about Draco. She knew that once her friend knew that she had met her soulmate that she wouldn't be upset anymore. "His name is Draco. He's our age and we met because some creeps were following me yesterday and he apparated us back to his apartment after he used some sort of powder to blackout the whole alleyway. We didn't know until he spilt hot water and burned himself, and that of course burned me as well, but he's everything I could have hoped for, Jess." She said with a smile before grinning widely when her friend told her that she had met her soulmate as well. "How do you forget about something like that, Jess?! I want details now!" She said before writing back to Draco. She was pretty mad at first, but she isn't anymore...she's asking me about you now

I met him last night in Diagon Alley in Wizard London because after you left I got bored and decided to go out. He and his twin brother George own a joke shop there and I happened to wander in there before closing time and he was the one to greet me and as me if I needed help. I fell down the stairs and that's how he and I found out. He even gave me one of the Pygmy Puffs from the shop. I named him Newt." Jessie said as she nodded over at the purple ball of fluff sitting on the counter sleeping.

He sighed happily as he sat down on his couch, drinking a cup of tea. He couldn't believe everything that had happened from last night to today. "I'm sorry I fell asleep!" Claire countered, sticking her tongue out right back at her friend. She listened as Jessie told her about how she had met her soulmate and about him and smiled. "A joke shop, huh? Well, isn't that ironic?" She let out a quiet laugh. It honestly made a lot of sense with her friend's petulant for causing trouble. She let out another laugh when friend pointed to the little ball of purple fluff sleeping on the counter. "You have a problem, Jess." She teased in response to the name her friend had given the Pygmy Puff. She smiled at the words that had just appeared on her arm. "He was worried that he made a bad first impression on you." She told her friend before writing back. It definitely wouldn't have been, but she isn't upset, so you're fine. Now you have to worry about making a good first impression when you actually meet her

Jessie rolled her eyes at Claire's words before she mentioned how the joke shop was ironic, "Fred and his brother George were apparently big trouble makers in Hogwarts and pulled pranks on their fellow students. So it's actually perfect that my soulmate is one of the two considering how much trouble I got in at Ilvermorny." Jessie said with a laugh. Jessie was about to react about "having a problem" because she named her Pygmy Puff Newt before Claire stated that Draco was worried about making a bad impression on her, "Well he's already got a good strike for him since he saved you from those guys." She admitted, "Though he's still going to have to work to get my approval."

Draco smiled at his arm and finished off his tea, taking his cup to the sink and washing it, along with the words on his arm. He picked his pen back up and smiled, Wow you really know how to scare a bloke don't you? He wrote back. He was really worried about making a good impression on Jessie. She was the best friend after all. Her approval mattered just as much as the family approval, especially the father and older brother approval.

"That is pretty perfect." Claire agreed. "Though I'm glad you two didn't meet when you were both still in school. I can only imagine what you both would have come up with." She said with a laugh before nodding in response to her friend's later words. "He really is a good guy, Jess. He's done some things in the past to protect his family, but that's the only reason he ever did them." She wasn't going to go into detail about any of it, she felt like it wasn't her story to tell, and it really wasn't. She glanced back down at her arm and let out a quiet laugh. I'm joking, you'll be fine...I'm sure Jessie will like you

Jessie laughed when Claire said that she was glad Jessie and Fred weren't in school together. Jessie could only imagine the mischief that her, Fred, and George would have gotten into if they had been friends in school, "I'm not one to judge, you know that. If you say he did them to protect his family, then that's good enough for me." She said with a shrug, "All I care about is that you're happy and didn't get stuck with a shitty soulmate." She added.

Draco smiled at the words on his arms, Still doesn't make me feel any better. Hope she does like me, though. He replied back. Draco thought about what he should do today. Eventually after thinking hard enough, he decided that he was going to go out and buy Claire flowers. He would give them to her the next time he saw her.

Claire smiled at her friend's words, though she honestly wasn't all that surprised by her response. She knew what type of person Jessie was, and it didn't surprise her that she was willing to see past what Draco had done without even knowing what he had done in the first place. "That's definitely not the case at all." She said, shaking her head. Draco was great, he was a good person, and she was glad to have him as her soulmate. I'm sure that she will...I can't see why she wouldn't... "I want you to meet him soon and I want to meet yours soon too." She grinned.

Jessie nodded with a smile before Claire said she wanted to meet Fred, "Well I told Fred that I would bring you by the joke shop sometime this weekend. He is going to take me around Wizarding London on Monday since that's the only day that the shop is closed. So I mean if you want. I could take you to meet Fred today and then I can meet Draco tomorrow." She suggested with a smile.

Draco grinned and replied back, Listen, the best friend isn't always the easiest to win over, love He replied with a small laugh to himself. He knew that he was worrying over nothing and that Claire was probably right, but still. Jessie was Claire's best friend, so he was a little nervous.

Claire shrugged her shoulders. "That works for me." She said. "I'll double check and make sure Draco's free tomorrow but he was asking when he was going to get to see me again earlier so." She was looking forward to meeting Jessie's soulmate and she was also looking forward to introducing Draco to her as well. If you say so, but I think you're worrying over nothing. Speaking of meeting Jessie, are you doing anything tomorrow? "I just asked him what he was doing tomorrow, and once I've gotten things sorted I'm going to go shower and we can head out if you want?"
