Hungry Like the Wolf | Closed.

Matt was out on a run in the woods, needing to get away from the drama back home. It was mating season and as alpha, he should be one of the first to have a mate, but he was the only one without one. His parents were starting to get on him about procreating, but he just hadn't found the right woman yet. Everyone always insisted it wasn't about finding love, it was about strictly mating to have children. But it wasn't that way to him. He wasn't going to force himself to mate with a woman he didn't feel comfortable with. He already had to watch both Jimmy and Johnny do it, and he didn't want to be in that position. He was torn from his thoughts when he heard what sounded like a dog or a wolf whining, stopping dead in his tracks and looking around.

Quinn whined as she smelled the werewolf male continued getting closer to her. She heard hear the leaves from the tree beaches, hitting his fur and hoped he wouldn't hurt her more then the hunters she had been running from had. She definitely didn't have the strength to fight anyone with the wounds she had. When she saw the werewolf in front of her, she moved her ears down and tucked her tail between her legs, whimpering as she let him know she didn't want any trouble.

Matt studied the other wolf for a moment, knowing instantly from her distinct scent that she was a female. Plus, the way she behaved under stress was an indication. Most injured male wolves would become aggressive. He stepped towards her, looking at the wounds on her body. She'd been shot in her right shoulder and her left leg, which would make it almost impossible for her to walk on her own. He knew it was a bad idea to bring a wolf from a different pack into his pack's territory but he wanted to help. He nudged his nose under her face, forcing her to look at him. He barked at her before kneeling down beside her, signaling her to lay on his back.

Quinn let out a small whimper as she lifted her head. It hurt to move because of the way she had been injured. She did as he told her to, letting out a loud cry of pain as she did. It hurt her a lot to be lying in the wounds but she knew it she didn't listen he could get mad and hurt her worse.

Once the other wolf had laid across his back, he stood up and slowly carried her back to the house. He stopped at the door and laid down, letting her slide off his back before he let out a howl to let the other guys know he needed help. Zacky was the first to come out of the door, the green-eyed man looking down at the other wolf and then at Matt. Matt barked at Zacky before he slipped inside so he could change back without being nude in front of everyone else.

Quinn whimpered as she looked at the new wolf, finding herself absolutely terrified about being around multiple werewolves. She didn't want to accidentally shift back and have them freak out on her. She didn't know how werewolves felt about shapeshifters but she was a bit of a pessimist so she feared the worst.

Matt went upstairs to his room and changed back, quickly pulling on some clothes before he went back down to the porch. The rest of the guys had now joined Zacky, all of them standing around the new wolf and examining her. "Guys, back up," he said. "You'll frighten her."

"You know we have no more room for another wolf right now," Brian said, his arms crossed over his chest.

"I'm not going to leave an injured wolf to die," Matt said sternly. He knelt down beside the wolf, running his hand through her fur. "Someone get me the first-aid kit."

Quinn eyed everyone nervously, unsure of how to act around the wolves so she decided to stay quiet and act like a submissive and wounded wolf.

Once Jimmy had brought Matt the first-aid kit, he opened it up and grabbed the bottle of peroxide. "This is going to hurt," he said, wetting some gauze and dabbing around the area of the wound to clean it. Once he'd cleaned the first wound, he braced his hand on her arm to hold it down before grabbing the arrow and pulling it out in one swift motion. He held her body still as she reacted to the pain, slightly afraid she'd bite him, but not really caring at the same time. He would bite too if he was in pain. He grabbed more gauze and pressed it to the wound, getting Johnny to hold it in place to hold the blood in while he went and repeated the actions on her leg. Once he got the arrow out, he pressed gauze to it, noting that she would need stitches in order for the wound to completely close up and heal like it should. Wolves healed faster than normal humans, but not nearly as fast as vampires did.

Quinn yelped out loudly in pain. She tried to pull away from the werewolves holding her down, tried to claw her way away from them. She refused to bite at them though since she knew their teeth could do way more damage.

"Hold still," Matt said. "You're going to make yourself bleed more." He grabbed the needle and began stitching up the wound on her leg before he moved to her shoulder, stitching that up as well. Once he finished, he got Johnny to take everything inside before he and Zacky lifted the wolf up and brought her inside. Matt laid a blanket over her and went to go wash the blood off his hands. He heard Zacky's mate, a girl named Lauren, walk downstairs and start questioning him about why he was with another wolf. She could get pretty territorial, especially of Zacky. Which was another reason Matt didn't want to just mate with anyone. He wanted to find someone who wouldn't just see him as a piece of meat.

Quinn whined when she heard one of the werewolves begin to argue with a girl that was obviously her mate. She rolled into her stomach, ignoring the pain in her shoulder and leg to try and calm things down between the two of them. She almost wanted to shift back to try and talk and calm things down between the two but she knew a naked shapeshifter in a living room while two mates fought wouldn't help at all.

Matt walked into the living room, frowning. "Guys, you're upsetting her," he said. "If you're going to argue, do it somewhere else." Zacky was clearly irritated by Lauren, and he took Matt's advice and left the room. Laura scoffed and followed, calling after him. Matt shook his head and sat down beside the wolf with a bowl of water, placing it in front of her. "You need to keep hydrated."

Quinn looked at the bowl questionly before she began drinking from the bowl. She was a little nervous to disobey the werewolf's orders. He appeared to be the alpha of the pack and didn't want to upset him at all.

Matt could tell she was nervous, and she had every right to be. He went over and sat on the couch, figuring she would eventually fall asleep from all the excitement.

Quinn drank from the water bowl until Matt walked away. She looked around, finding a corner she could hide under a table and crawled over there. She whimpered slightly as she tried to get comfortable. Once she did she closed her eyes and let herself fall asleep.

Matt raised a brow as he watched her. She acted more like a dog that got hit by a car than a wolf. But every wolf was different, so he couldn't really make assumptions like that. He laid back on the couch, wondering when she would turn back into her human form. Maybe she had just had her transformation and didn't know how to. But she didn't seem that young.

Quinn looked around the ground floor of house, sniffing to make sure no one else was around. She was still wounded but her leg was feeling slightly better. She shifted back into her human form and made a mad dash for the front door.

Matt heard some cracking noises and then running, his brows furrowing. He rushed to the living room, frowning when he saw a naked girl running for the door. "Wait!" he called, running after her and grabbing her arm.
