Hilarie sat in the bathroom with Harley, her leg bouncing up and down as she sat on the toilet seat, waiting for the test to show whether it was negative or positive. They had gone to a concert to see their favorite band of all time a few weeks ago and they had actually succeeded in sleeping with their favorite band members. The only downside to that was that they had lied about their ages. Hilarie had told them that she was 20 and she can't even remember what Harley had told them. And they had exchanged numbers after the whole ordeal happened in case they were ever in each others areas again.

Hilarie swallowed hard as she looked over at Harley, her eyes wide with fear. "I guess it's time to look," she laughed nervously, standing up from the toilet. She walked over to the counter and took a deep before looking down at the little white stick. It had two dark pink lines which indicated that she was indeed pregnant. And the worst part about all of this was that so was Harley. Now they were both pregnant and the guys could end up going to jail because of them.

"This is the worst day of my life," Hilarie breathed as she sank down onto the toilet seat again, running her hand through her blonde curls. "We have to tell them... Long before we tell our parents. Or we can hide it from our parents and still let them know incase they want to be involved or so that they know what could happen," Hilarie said all in one quick rush before carrying on. She was definitely a ranter, and right now it was happening more than she wished it would but it was her nervous habit and she didn't know what else to do in this situation.

Harley chewed on her lip as she paced back and forth, not sure what to do. She had figured out days ago that she was pregnant, only now did both she and Hilarie get the confirmation that they were in fact pregnant. The worst part is that the men who got them pregnant didn't even know what they had gotten themselves into... all because of a stupid lie about how old they were to get backstage. The venue required everyone to be with an adult 21 or older, she hadn't wanted them both to get caught so she said she was 23 and Hilarie was 20. No one questioned it cause she definitely looked the part. How old was she really? 17.

Hilarie ranted on in the background but Harleys mind was elsewhere. How was she gonna explain this to her mother? And oh God, her father would KILL him if he ever found out. Sure, she had cool parents who let her do what she wanted.... and sure this resulted in several tattoos and piercings... but they weren't so cool they'd be okay with their underage daughter getting knocked up by a man nearly twice her age. She was still in school... this wasn't supposed to happen to her.

Finally, Hilarie's ranting brought Harley to a breaking point as she stopped pacing and stared at her best friend. "HILARIE FOR FUCKS SAKE SHUT UP." She yelled, rubbing circles on her forehead. "You have to calm down. The first thing we have to do is call the boys. We have to tell them. Then we tell our parents, we can't hide being pregnant and I don't know about you but I can't go through with an abortion. That's out of the question for me." She stated, starting to pace again. "Once we talk to them, and find out if they wanna be involved, then we can figure out what to tell our parents. For all we know they won't want anything to do with it and we don't even have to tell our parents who the fathers are. But we have to come clean.... they deserve at least that." Harley stated, looking over at her friend... Harley pulled out her phone and, taking a deep breath, hit the call button before she could stop herself.

Hilarie went silent when Harley yelled at her and bit down on her bottom lip roughly, almost pulling the skin off. She wasn't expecting her best friend to yell at her, especially with the situation they were in but she knew she had a reason to yell. They had both just found out that they were going to be teenage mothers and well, they didn't even know if the guys wanted anything to do with them yet.

"Abortion is definitely out of the picture for me so I guess we'll be telling the guys," Hilarie finally said calmly. As crazy as it was, she didn't believe in abortion when it came to herself. She had thought about getting pregnant a few times when she was with her old boyfriend and she always thought she'd keep the baby if it ever happened. But it never did because they were always very careful when it came to the sex department. She honestly didn't know how she could be so careless this time. She was always so careful.

Shaking her head, Hilarie stepped out of the bathroom and moved to where her room was, glad her parents were out of town this time. They usually left her alone a week or two every month to go on trips to visit friends since they were both retired. She was just hoping that they weren't too mad at her over this whole ordeal. She knew how temperamental her dad could be sometimes.

Hilarie pulled out her cell phone and unlocked the phone, scrolling through the call log until she found Brian's number. She hit the 'call' button and held the phone to her ear, taking a deep breath.

    It was now or never.
Matt sat there with the guys from the band, laughing and carrying on as they talked about the next tour they'd be going on in six months. They had just gotten home from tour that day and were going over last minute details for the tour in a few months. They always did this and Matt wanted to be sure they had everything figured out. After this, he was most likely going to go home so he could get a good nights sleep and then go visit his parents the next day. They always expected a visit from him the day of them getting home or the day after and he had to uphold the tradition.

Matt looked around as the guys talked before he heard his phone ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and saw the name 'Harley' pop up on the screen. His eyebrows raised in surprise and he excused himself before getting off the couch. He went into the next room before clicking the talk button. "Hello?" he said into the receiver.

He was more than surprised to see that Harley was calling him. He didn't think she would call for awhile or at all. Usually girls were intimidated by them or they just wanted that one night from them. But there was something about Harley that had made him give her his number. Maybe it was the innocent look about her or the way she was so shy at first even though once she opened up she was like a social butterfly. He thought that was cute so that's when he gave her his number. He just hoped he wouldn't regret it.

Harley chewed on her lip, a bad habit of hers when she was nervous, as the phone rang. All she knew for sure was that she had to tell him in person. She knew their tour had just ended so they were probably on their way home, or already there. Thankfully, Huntington Beach was only a 15 minute drive from where she and Hilarie lived. The phone stopped ringing and suddenly she heard his voice on the other end. Her breath caught on her throat as she lost everything she wanted to say.

"Matt... Uhm, Hey It's Harley..." She stuttered, unsure of how to explain this to him. "I know you guys are gonna be back from the tour soon, I was wondering if you maybe wanted to get together for some coffee or something? I wanted to talk to you about something... it's not important if you can't I was just... You know... wondering..." She ranted on, not taking many breaks in her words to breathe. She didn't want to give him the chance to shut her down.

Harley had never thought about having a baby... not yet at least. She was too young, she had things she wanted to do. Of course... if she was gonna have a baby with anyone... Matt was almost the perfect person. He was sweet, caring, drop dead gorgeous even. He was successful, not that that was why she liked him, had the cutest dimples that made her swoon, and was more than just 'some band guy'. He was more complex than some guy who hooked up with any girl just because he could. The problem with Matt was that he was 32, and Harley was only 17.
Brian watched Matt walk away as he answered his phone and moments later his own phone rang. He looked down at it confused, recognizing the name he saw almost immediately. 'Hilarie' flashed on his phone screen and he thought back about when he met the cute girl. She was with one of her friends, a few years older than herself... maybe like 3 or 4? He couldn't remember.

Matt had taken to that girl quickly, despite the fact that he was 9 years her senior. Brian however had taken to the girl 3 years younger than her friend. Something about her.... she was so.... innocent? No, she had an innocent face but that girl was far from innocent. He had given her his number in hopes she'd use it... but he didn't get his hopes up. Most girls just used them for the night and left... just looking for a quick hookup.

"Guys I'll be back" he announced, flashing his ringing phone to the remaining guys. He stood, walking the opposite direction of Matt. As he walked out the door he answered the phone, a smile lighting up his face. "Hello?" he echoed into the receiver, he didn't want to let her know he was waiting for her to call.

Illiana breathed in slowly when she heard Brian's voice. She almost hung up the phone from the fear that he wouldn't want to talk to her. Or maybe he just gave her his number out of pity. Either way, she knew she had to tell him. She just had to muster up the courage to be able to tell him. But she refused to do it over the phone. What she had to tell him was personal, and over the phone was impersonal and she wanted to see his reaction. The worst part was that she also had to tell him that she was only 16. He was probably going to freak over that.

Illiana took a couple more breaths before she finally got the courage to talk. "Hey, Brian... It's Illiana," she mumbled, mentally smacking herself because he probably already knew that. "I was wondering if maybe you'd want to meet up for some coffee sometime soon, hopefully sooner rather than later. There are some, uh, things I have to tell you and I don't think it should be over the phone because it would just be weird..." she said and kept talking, not knowing when to shut up as usual. She was a ranter and rant she would. Usually everyone had to tell her when to stop.

Illiana's mind was reeling as she finally came to a stop after a minute of nonstop talking, sucking in some air and then letting it out so she could catch her breath. She was hoping that her ranting didn't scare him away and make him not want to meet up. She knew she could come on a little too strong sometimes.
Matt's eyebrows rose in surprise at Harley's request. He didn't think she could ask to meet up with him this soon but he was really glad she had asked. He had been wanting to see her again because she had blew his mind that night they had together and it saddened him a bit that she had to leave almost as soon as they woke up. She had said something about school the next morning but he just assumed she meant college when she had mentioned it.

"Hey, Harley! Yes, I'd love to meet up with you. We just got home yesterday. Do you live far? If not, we can meet up tonight," Matt said, his dimpled grin growing wide. He didn't know what could be so important but he didn't care. He just wanted to see her beautiful self again.

Although somewhere in the back of his mind, Matt was wondering what could've been so important. They had only just met that night at the concert and they hadn't talked until today. He ignored the thought, not really wanting to think about anything bad. The worst thing he could think of was that she had an STD and had to tell him about it so that he could get checked out. But a pregnancy never once ran through his mind.

    [Hopefully this doesn't suck.]

    @ The Joker;

Harley bit her lip… did she want to do this tonight? It would probably be best… that way she couldn’t back away from telling him the truth. But it was getting late… how was she going to explain it to her parents? It was a Friday… they were going out for ice cream? That’s kinda perfect. They’d say they were going out for ice cream. They’d just have to make sure they brought back proof. Thankfully Hilarie was spending the night tonight, so they’d only need permission to go out once.

“I live in Newport Beach, so I’m not far from Huntington… There’s a Coldstone right off Main St… meet me there?” She questioned, making sure Hilarie had heard her and that she agreed. Even though she was freaking out about being pregnant, her heart still fluttered at the thought of seeing him again.

Matt was honestly everything she looked for in a relationship… she had never been into any of the guys at school because she had always had a thing for him. And she knew better, she knew he was older. She knew it was illegal for them to be together… and she knew she was being selfish for lying to him about how old she was. He could get in a lot of trouble for this and it would be all her fault… God she couldn’t imagine the thought of something bad happening to him because of a stupid lie she had told.
Brian listened, concerned about what she wanted to talk about. He gave her his number in hopes they would get together again, and honestly it was kinda adorable how nervous she was. At the same time, he had to worry… what could possibly have her so nervous to talk to him… what could she possibly have to tell him that couldn’t be said over the phone.

“Hilarie…. Hilarie stop. Calm down. Hilarie – stop!” He chuckled, shaking his head to himself. “I would love to hang out. How about tonight? I know it’s 7 but if you live nearby we could get together.” He suggested

Something told him that Matt was on the other line with Hilarie’s friend. Brian racked his brain trying to figure out what it was she wanted to tell him. His best guess was that she had some STD or was older than she said but that wouldn’t be a bad thing… unless she thought he only liked her cause she was young.

Illiana stopped talking when Brian told her to and her eyes widened slightly when she heard him chuckle. Usually people got annoyed by her talking except for Harley unless she was agitated. Whenever she was, she would warn Hilarie and Hilarie would just stay quiet most of the time except when Harley asked her something. It was how they had become good friends. They knew when to annoy each other and when not to.

"That sounds good to me. I live in Newport Beach so maybe we can meet at the Coldstone right off Main Street?" Illiana asked, having heard Harley say that loud enough for her to hear. Illiana was guessing that Matt had agreed to meet with Harley which meant that sending Brian to the same place would be perfect because then they wouldn't have to drive separately. And she couldn't drive after 8pm anyway because she still had a permit.

Illiana knew her parents wouldn't care how long she was out. They usually let her do whatever she wanted as long as she was in by 11pm on school nights and knew where she was on weekends. She just wasn't sure how they'd react to her pregnancy. Sure her sister got pregnant at fifteen and by a guy five years older but this was different. The guy was more than ten years older than her. She just hoped Brian wouldn't freak out because she knew for a fact her parents wouldn't do anything for her.
Matt nodded his head even though he knew Harley couldn't see him. "That sounds like a plan to me. I'll see you soon, alright?" Matt told her. "I'll text you as soon as I'm leaving. I just have to get on my shoes and jacket. Bye, gorgeous," he chuckled. He then hung up the phone and walked over to where Brian was.

Matt saw how Brian looked and realized that he must be talking to Harley's friend and that made him curious as to what both girls would be calling them at the same time for. Usually the very few girls that were friends they gave their number to would call one after the other and a few days apart. He guessed so that they didn't seem like they were doing it because they were famous but that was always the case.

Matt sighed softly as he waited for Brian to hang up the phone, wanting to ask him if he was meeting up with Hilarie. Although he figured that he was when he had heard him mention a time and he could hear the girl on the other end of the phone.

"Coldstone sounds perfect to me. I'll see you there gorgeous." Brian stated, smiling into the phone. Looking up from the floor he noticed Matt was now standing in the room with him. Clearly his suspicions were right, and clearly they were both about to be leaving. Once Hilarie confirmed it he hung up the phone and turned to his friend.

"So, Coldstone?" He questioned his friend. Brian was honestly concerned. It wasn't often things like this happened. It clearly had to be serious. That thought made him frown. Hilarie was of the best things that had happened to him since he and Michelle had split. He hated to think it was turning into something bad.

A few years back, Michelle had expressed her want for children, but he hadn't been ready. He wasn't prepared to give up his music to raise a kid, and she didn't want to raise a child on the road or in a home without him. They were in two very different places, so they split up.

Brian's mind snapped back to reality, and he looked at Matt expectantly. Not that it mattered much, he still wanted to ride seperately... in case it wasnt as bad as he thought and they ended up back at his place.
Harley blushed when he called her gorgeous and bit her lip. "See you soon Matt." She smiled softly. Harley hung up her phone, shoving it into her back pocket and grabbing her keys. She looked up at Hilarie and saw she was still on the phone. When her friend looked over at her, Harley mouthed her intentions to her.

'I'm gonna tell my parents where we're going. Meet me downstairs." She mouthed, half whispering, motioning down. As she turned and walked out the door Hilarie was telling Brian where to meet, which she took as a good sign.

Harley walled downstairs, finding her parents in the kitchen doing dishes from dinner that night. "Hey momma, Hil and I really want Coldstone... I know the closest one us in Huntington Beach so I wanted to know if it was okay if we went. I promise I'll drive safe and I'll bring back something for you guys if you want. " She questioned, making sure she sounded as innocent as possible.

Her mother nodded, so long as she promised to check in if she was gonna be out past 8:30, as they were exhausted and going to bed. Harley hugged her parents goodnight and walled out to her car, waiting for Hilarie.

Hilarie walked down the stairs and said bye to Harley's parents before she walked out of the house. She headed for Harley's car and got in, closing the door behind herself and buckling her seatbelt.

"I'm beyond nervous because of this, Harley. What if he just walks out or tries to tell me to get an abortion?" Hilarie asked almost silently, biting down on her bottom lip roughly.

She didn't want to think about what was going to happen once she saw Brian at Coldstone but she knew she was going to have to. They had a giant age gap between the two of them and well, he would probably assume he was going to end up in jail because of being with her. But she knew he wouldn't because her parents would never do that to her. They had actually had a talk about older guys before. But never older rockstars so she couldn't be sure.

"We're going to be okay, right?" Hilarie asked as she clasped her hands together in her lap and started squeezing them tightly together then letting go. It was one of her many nervous habits.
Matt nodded his head in response to Brian at his question. "Yeah, man. I just hope everything is alright since they're both meeting us there together," Matt told his best friend with a nervous chuckle.

Before him and Val had split, she had been going on and on for months about getting married and having kids and Matt just wasn't ready yet. He had expressed it to her every time she brought it up at the beginning and then started to ignore it every time she talked about it. It wasn't until he noticed that she wasn't taking her birth control anymore that he had finally told her how he felt again. And at that point the relationship was over.

Val never understood his desire not to have children so soon but he wanted to wait until he knew he would have enough money to support them and then some. And she had tried to trap him and he wasn't having any of that. He didn't want to be forced into something he didn't want.

"I'm assuming we're riding separately?" Matt chuckled as he started to head for the door. He walked to his car without waiting for Brian to respond and waved at him before getting into the car. He then started it and headed for Coldstone, his mind racing a mile a minute as he drove.

Harley chewed on her lip as she drove, almost silently. Hilarie’s small voice broke the silence, and though she barely spoke above a whisper – it seemed almost deafening. How could she answer that? It was more than likely that it would happen... she couldn’t honestly tell her it wouldn’t.

“Honestly Hil,” Harley sighed, looking over at her friend, then back to the road. “It’s not an unlikely outcome. But listen to me. No matter what – no matter how they or our parents react…. You have me. You’ll always have me.”

As she pulled into the parking lot and cut off the car she looked down, then back up at her best friend. “We will be fine.” She nudged “Lets go get some ice cream and wait for the guys… they shouldn’t be too far away.” She stated, getting out the car. To be honest, she was terrified herself. Her stomach was tied in knots, but what could she do? She was, for all intents and purposes, the oldest. She had to be the stronger of the two.

Walking into the creamery she felt her nerves melt away, if only for a moment. Going up to the counter she ordered her ice cream, finding an isolated table in the back of the store. They didn’t need any attention during this conversation.
Brian smiled at his friend, secretly hoping the same thing. “Nah, I’m sure everything is fine. Seems to me like they just do everything together.” He stated, though in his mind he knew that wasn’t it. Something was wrong, Hilarie was too frantic and nervous for this to be just a social meet up. He just couldn’t figure out what it was.

His thought was broken by the sound of Matt’s voice. He looked up and noticed that he hadn’t stuck around for an answer, Matt was already headed for the door. Brian looked back at where their friends were, thinking he should let them know that he and Matt were leaving. Strolling back into the room he interrupted the conversation.

“Guys, Matt and I are heading out – we’ll see you tomorrow.” He stated, getting nods from the rest of the guys. Quickly, he turned on his heel and headed from his car. Judging from how long it had been since they had gotten off the phone, it seemed as though the girls would arrive before him, so he didn’t want to keep her waiting.

Hilarie walked into the creamery with Harley, going up to the counter and ordering herself a milkshake. She got her shake before she walked over toward the opposite corner of the store so that Brian didn't hear what Harley was saying to Matt. She didn't want them both freaking out at the same time after hearing what the other girl was saying. Especially if her friend got ahead of her in telling Matt, then Brian would know what she was going to say before she said it and she wanted it to come from her.

Hilarie took a deep breath as she sat down in the chair with her back facing the wall, wanting to see the customers faces so that she would know when it was time to ditch the place. She had a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach that made her think that Brian wasn't going to react well at all to her news.

With a sigh, she took a sip of her vanilla milkshake and scanned the room before her eyes darted to the big glass windows in front of the store so that she would be able to see when Brian arrived so she'd be able to prepare herself. She didn't think she was ready for this but her parents would find out sooner rather than later and they'd want to know if the father was involved so she had to do something.
Matt pulled up to the Cold Stone and cut the engine after parking in the space. He got out and hit the lock button on his keypad, heading inside the ice cream shop. He looked around for a moment before he spotted Harley and a dimpled grin broke out on his face.

Matt walked over to where Harley was and sat down in the chair across from her once he noticed the worried look on her face, furrowing his eyebrows as he clasped his hands on top of the table. "What's wrong?" he asked her softly. He immediately had sensed something was wrong and he wanted to get it out of the way before they talked.

Matt bit down on his bottom lip as he studied Harley's face, swallowing the lump that was slowly starting to form in his throat. "Everything is okay, isn't it? Did I do something wrong that night?" he asked quietly as he reached over with his right hand and placed it on her wrist while staring into her eyes.

Harley chewed on the inside of her lip, her heart skipping a beat when Matt walked in. His eyes scanned the crowd and she saw a smile break out across his face the moment he saw her. She was silent as he came over to her, sitting across from her. She knew her face was etched with worry and fear, which is why the first thing out of his mouth was asking what was going on.

Her eyes widened and she looked up at him, shaking her head at his thoughts about him doing something wrong. "Oh god Matt no! Of course not!" She stated, looking down at his hand on her wrist. She took a deep breath, knowing she had to do this sooner or later.

"I have to tell you something and I need to to stay in that seat until I tell you every thing Okay?" Harley started, her eyes trained on her fingers as she picked at her nail polish. "I want you to know that I NEVER meant for this to happen... or for things to get this far and I want to tell you I am SO sorry.... but Matt... I'm pregnant..."
Brian pulled into the parking lot, noticing Matt's car already in the parking lot. He stepped out of his car and headed inside, his eyes landing immediately on where Matt and Harley sat. Her eyes were filled with tears and then she looked down, but she was talking.

Worry filled his gut as he looked around, his eyes finally landing on Hilarie the the complete opposite corner. He walked over to her, and despite the worry that was eating at him, he couldn't help but smile at her.

"Hey gorgeous..." he trailed off, sitting across from her. "You wanna tell me what's got you so worked up?" He questioned her, forcing her to look into his eyes. "Is it something I did?... Did I do soomething that night?" He couldn't help but ask

Hilarie shook her head slowly in response to Brian, smiling slightly at him. "You didn't do anything wrong, Brian. But there is something I have to tell you and I honestly don't think you're going to be too happy about it," she said quietly, looking down at her milkshake and reached up with her right hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear.

This was it. This was the moment of truth and it was going to take everything in her for her to be able to tell him. She could see the worry on his face and she knew that delaying it would probably make the tenseness worse. He seemed really on edge and that was the last thing she wanted him to be.

"I just want you to know how sorry I am for this happening. I honestly didn't mean for it to and I know you most likely didn't either. But I'm pregnant," she whispered out the last part, swallowing hard as she finally looked up to meet his gaze.
Matt's eyes widened in complete surprise at Harley's words and he about jumped out of his seat. But he managed to keep himself grounded so that he didn't worry her too much. He knew women who were pregnant needed low stress levels during their pregnancy and he only knew that because of his sister Amy.

"You're... pregnant," Matt said slowly as he watched Harley's expression, making sure to be careful with how he phrased it. "And it's my baby," he continued as he reached a hand up to rub his temple with his pointer finger. This was a lot to take in and he wasn't quite sure what to say yet.

After a few minutes, Matt finally managed to get out a few questions. "Do you know how far along you are? And have you made any doctors appointments yet?" he asked softly. He was definitely going to make sure that she had the best doctor and care she could have but he wanted to make sure it was his. Although he wouldn't say that aloud because he didn't want her to think he was accusing her of sleeping around.

Harley stayed quiet as he soaked it in. Chewing on the inside of her lip she watch him as he processed what she said. Nodding along when he asked if it was his baby, her eyes flicked over to where Hilarie was. Brian's eyes had widened and she could tell that Hilarie had gone the same route she had. Pregnancy first, age second.

If she was being honest with herself, telling Matt that she was only 17 scared her more than telling him she was pregnant. Her eyes moved back to Matt as he began to ask her more questions, this time about how far along she was and if she had seen a doctor yet.

"I'm about 7 weeks along... And no I haven't seen a doctor yet. I wasn't sure if you'd want to be involved or not... so I figured I'd tell you first but uhm... Matt there's more.." Harley stated. Tears began to form in her eyes and she looked away from him as she spoke softly, trying not to let the tears fall. He was going to hate her, and the fact that he was being so sweet about her being pregnant made it that much worse. "It was a 21 and up show... you had to have someone over 21 with you to get in and... well... I lied about my age so Hilarie and I could get in.... I told them, and you, that I was 23.... but I... I'm seventeen..." Harley trailed off at the end, her voice barely above a whisper.
Brian's eye widened and he felt like he had just been punched in the guy. Of all the things he thought this could be... Her being pregnant was the last thing on his mind. He sat at the table in silence before nodding and looking up at her. "Okay. We can work this out."

He ran his fingers through his hair as he thought to himself. Pregnant was better than an STD, but he wanted to make sure the kid was his before he made any rash decisions. The last thing he wanted to do was offend her by implying that she had been sleeping around.

"I guess the first step would be to see a doctor... have you had an appointment yet?" Brian questioned, looking about ay Hilaries sad face. There was something else... something else was eating about her, and he couldn't tell what it was. "Do you know how har along you are?"

Hilarie shook her head slowly in response to Brian. She was expecting him to freak out and leave her there but she was glad that her worst fears didn't happen. She just had to get through this next part without him freaking out because this was the kicker. This is what would make or break the entire situation.

"I haven't made an appointment yet. I wanted to let you know about it before I went that route. And I'm about 7 weeks along," she said quietly in response to his questions. "I also have something else to tell you, Brian. And I need you to keep an open mind."

Hilarie took a deep as she tried to calm her nerves before she told him. Closing her eyes, she blurted it out without even giving herself time to process what she was saying. "I'm actually not 21 like I told you. I'm 17. Harley lied about her age to get me and her into the show and I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen," she choked out. She could feel the tears starting to well in her eyes and she blinked them back so that she didn't start crying in front of him.
Matt's eyes widened to the size of saucers and he almost choked on air at her words. She was underage. Which meant that if her parents weren't okay with the fact that he was as much older as he was, he was screwed. He'd be locked away and charged as a rapist and pedophile.

"H-Harley.... Why wouldn't you tell me your real age that night?" Matt whispered as he let his hands drop into the table. "You do realize that I could face jail time if your parents decide to press charges right?"

Matt knew now that Harley was young and that she might not have thought about the consequences of what had happened to them. Usually young girls didn't think about those types of things because they don't occur to them. He just hoped she wouldn't be mad at him for bringing it up.

Harley shook her head, looking down as tears silently fell down her cheeks. She knew she had messed up, big time. At the time she wasn't thinking that she was underage, she wasn't thinking that she could get pregnant. She was thinking that she was sitting in front of her idol, who she thought was VERY attractive, and he was into her. After that, the rest fades to black.

"Matt I'm sorry... I'm so sorry! I never expected this to happen.. I never wanted for this... for it to get this far! We just wanted to get into the show and... fuck I'm so sorry..." Harley rambled. Now that Hilarie was with Brian, Harley no longer had to pretend like she was okay... she didn't have to pretend to be strong. She was falling apart... and it was showing.

"I'm such an idiot... you could get in so much trouble... I understand you don't want anything to do with the baby. I won't blame you - and I promise this isn't me coming to you for money - thats the last thing on my mind. I just thought you should know, I won't say a word to anyone about it... I won't tell a soul I swear..." She rambled on, still trying to keep most of the tears from falling. She stood, attempting to walk past Matt. "This was a mistake.. I'm sorry."
Brian's jaw dropped in surprise. Seventeen? How could she be only seventeen?!?! His mind started racing - he has officially broken the law. He has had with sex, and impregnated, a minor. When her parents found out how old he was he was sure that he'd be going to jail... as a sex offender. He was a pedophile... how could this happen.

"H-how..... w-why didn't you tell me sooner...." He managed to stutter out. His hands were resting on his knees as they bounced, a habit of his when he was nervous. Clearly Matt had been called here for something similar... if not the same.

"Have you told your parents? Do they know?" He questioned her again. He could see that she was fighting back tears and he hated that she was going through this. The fact that she was only seventeen didn't change the fact that she was still pregnant with his child. He didn't want her stressing out, it was bad for the baby. But he had to ask... he had to know how to proceed from here.

Hilarie sniffed and fought back the tears that wanted to escape and bit down on her bottom lip gently. She knew that Brian probably wouldn't believe her when she told him that her parents really wouldn't care. Most of her friends half the time couldn't believe that her parents were so laid back unless they witnessed it themselves.

"They're not going to care," Hilarie said quietly as she turned her head to stare out the window. "My parents will only care that you're maning up and taking responsibility for the baby than they really won't care. Especially considering my 18th birthday is months away," she snorted.

Hilarie was trying to pretend like nothing was wrong that she didn't end up crying because that's what would happen if she gave herself time to think and time to process that she was actually sitting there with Brian. She was also avoiding his asking why she didn't tell him sooner because she didn't want to answer that. She knew that he would have something to say about how he wouldn't have turned her away or asked her to get an abortion when he probably would have.
Matt grabbed onto Harley's hand and practically pulled her onto his lap so that she couldn't walk away. He wrapped his arms around her and stared up at her. His mind was racing with everything that was probably going to happen to him but for some reason, he just didn't care right now because of how upset Hilarie was. He wanted to make sure she was okay and he wanted her to be calm before they actually talked about this.

"Harley, I need you to calm down so we can talk about this calmly and rationally, okay? I'm not going to run. I will be here for this baby unless I get put in jail. If that happens than they probably won't let me around you or the baby but I will still provide for the two of you, okay?" he murmured, taking a deep breath.

Matt was really hoping that it wouldn't take much to get through to Harley because he wanted this to go smoothly. And he wanted to make sure that they had a plan in action on how they were going to tell her parents because god forbid they press charges. Then he'll never be able to see his kid and he won't be able to possibly form a family. Which was all he could think about for some reason.

Brian shook his head, not believing what she said for a second. He could tell she was trying to keep it all together... trying to pretend that everything was okay when both of them knew that it wasn't. Nothing about this was okay, and they needed to talk about it... they needed a plan.

"Hilarie, your parents may be cool with normal teenager things... But telling them you got knocked up by a guy nearly twice your age is not going to be one of those things." Brian explained, shaking his head.

He thought to himself for a few moments before continuing on. "You should have told me how old you were. I'm not saying nothing would've happened between us... I like you I really do. But at least I would've known what I was getting myself into."
Harleys heart skipped a beat as Matt grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him. The act in itself sobered her, his arms wrapping around her like a blanket. She looked down at her hands then back over at Matt, seeing him looking up at her with concern.

"Matt I'm sorry... I've been trying to hold everything in because Hilarie was falling apart and... " she sighed, placing her hands on his shoulders. "You want to be a part of the baby's life?" She questioned softly, realizing what he had said to her.

She knew she shouldn't be surprised that he wanted to take responsibility... he was such a sweet guy, and despite his lifestyle he was very responsible. She was more surprised that he didn't get pissed about her lie. She hadn't meant to hurt him... She honestly just wasn't thinking. Now that he knew... and he wasn't backing out... now she had to come clean to her parents.

Hilarie sighed softly as she shook her head. Brian obviously didn't know how her parents were and she knew he most likely wouldn't believe that part but she did have to tell him. Most kids had strict parents, parents who overreacted about everything but not her. She was literally pushed out of the nest to fend for herself once she could drive. Her father even told her all the decisions she made from that point on were on her.

"My parents let me make my own decisions. My sister was with a guy over age 21 when she was 16 and she got knocked up. This probably won't surprise my parents either," Hilarie shrugged, feeling herself start to calm down.

Normally, Hilarie would be freaking out about the entire situation but with Brian there with her, it was keeping her calm. It was as if she felt completely comfortable around him.
Matt nodded his head in response to Harley's question, smiling up at her lightly. "Of course I want to be involved in the baby's life. I'm not going to be a deadbeat," he chuckled. It was a nervous habit, laughing when he was nervous and he was trying to stay cool and collected for Harley's sake considering she was the one who was pregnant.

"We need to figure out how we're going to tell your parents, Harley. They are my second main concern right now. The first obviously being you and the baby but we need to make sure they don't try to put me in jail," Matt sighed softly.

This was going to be very stressful. And he was going to have to make sure it stayed off of the internet because lord knows the fan girls could gossip. And Matt knew how ruthless they could all be. And if anyone found out about this before she was at least 18 than things wouldn't work and he'd have to leave her alone.
