Belle entered Mystic Falls, it had been too many years since she had been back and to be completely honest she wasn't sure why she had come back. There had been something, a pull of gravity to get her back to her home town, where her life had begun. Where everything had changed. Where she had found and lost her one and only love.
1864.
The worst year of her life. Belle had swore she was never coming back yet here she is, standing at the welcome sign teetering between turning and running back to where she had come from and staying walking into the town with her head held high. A town where her friends had once lived. That was until the night everything changed.
Taking a deep breath the brunette walked forward leaving her car parked at the welcome sign. She had decided the walk would clear her head and help her decide what she was going to do about the pull. The constant pull back into this town.
Damon had done it, the tomb was open but she wasn't there, the one who he had been searching for for the last several hundred years. The one he so desperately wanted to see again, to hold, to talk to, to kiss. Unfortunately it hadn't turned out like that. She had never been cursed to be trapped in the tomb. Now he was left with an emptiness, a hollowness that he didn't know how to fill.
Everyone was against him, all he wanted to do was get Katherine back and leave that was all he wanted, but that wasn't what he got, instead he got a tomb filled with vampires that he didn't care about and a brother that couldn't care less about him. He had his girl and Damon is left out as usual.
"Where are you Katherine?" he asked nothing in particular as he sat in the darkness of the night.
