Aria had taken a break from school, so she was starting this year as a Freshman at the university she'd chosen. The year before, she'd avoided trying to attend school because she'd been a little upset about having to break up with Mikey when she moved away for family reasons. She hadn't wanted to hold Mikey back and she knew that it was likely he'd find somebody else at whatever university he decided to attend, so she'd broken up with him to give him that opportunity. She'd never explained it to him, of course, because she knew he would have tried to talk her out of it. Sighing, she pushed the thought aside and began grabbing her things out of the trunk of the car so that she could take them to her new dorm.
Luke adored his girlfriend, Aspen. Everything about her just brightened up his world, like his music did. As he finished unpacking his things, he looked to Calum, who was still unpacking, and laughed lightly. "Did you over pack movies and games again?" he asked with a shake of his head. Pulling out his phone, he looked down at the screen, which had Aspen as his wallpaper, and smiled before he pulled up her contact to call her. He mostly wanted to see if she was done, so they could meet up, or if she needed help with anything, so he could go help her. With that thought in mind, he went ahead to press the call and put his phone to his ear.
"Maybe," Calum said with a small grin, though he couldn't exactly help it. He knew they both needed things to entertain them when they weren't in class or when they weren't doing homework - or when Luke wasn't hanging out with Aspen. He tried not to think about that, because, really, he was a little jealous. Aspen was a wonderful girl and he felt a draw to her that he knew he shouldn't feel. It was one of the main reasons he'd brought the movies and games, if he was being honest. This way, if Luke asked him to join them for something, he could just make up an excuse that he was going to play a game or watch a movie.
