Stefan couldn’t help but admire Korrie, she was willing to cook dinner for his friends and spend time with Elena. His current girlfriend who looked exactly the same as the woman who tore him away from her, if he was in Korrie’s shoes he wouldn’t be able to do that and not try to kill the other guy.

But she always had been the calmer one and she always had a level head, “Then I’ll set a day and time.” He looked at her and laughed, “Good luck with that. You better hide all the booze then, hide it all far away from here.” He grinned knowing his brother struggled to behave himself on a daily basis, Stefan doubted that Damon would start to behave himself now.

His attention was captured by his Uncle Zach, he watched in confusion as Zach greeted Korrie like they were old friends. “Why didn’t you tell me this?” Stefan asked his uncle in shock, how have he not known about this. Zach knew about Korrie, well Stefan never told Zach her name and it had been a while since Zach was last in college. “What is it with you and us Salvatore’s?” Stefan teased Korrie as he didn’t Zach, Korrie was stunning and single.
Callie shrugged her shoulders, “I have no idea.” And Korrie wouldn’t talk to her about it, but she did feel like her family were keeping something from her. Even Korrie. Callie wasn’t sure how she felt about Jeremy’s sister dating Stefan, the same Stefan that she knew Korrie still loved deeply. She hadn’t meet Elena and she could have been the nicest person on the planet, but she was still keeping her best friend from having the man she belongs with. Not that she wanted to say anything to Jeremy, it was none of their business.

“Oh yeah? And where is this?” She asked as she stood up, she could feel her hand tingling from his touch although she tried her hardest to ignore the sensation. She didn’t want to make things awkward between them, he was the only friend she has made in the small town so far.

But she followed him nonetheless, she had heard his phone beep again and was tempted to tell him that he should answer it. But it was his life and Callie was enjoying the time she was spending with him, she didn’t want his sister pulling him away when they had the rest of the afternoon to hang out.

Zach's cheeks flushed as he looked at his ancestor. "I didn't know you two knew each other. Speaking of how do you two know each other?" he asked confused. The male was genuinely interested in his Korrie and Stefan knew each other. "You were just good at playing hard to get... Did anyone catch you attention at college?" he asked laughter in his tone as he looked at the dark haired vampire.

"No not really... however I do remember one night you were very badly intoxicated... if memory serves me correctly I was helping you get back to your dorm room and well..." Korrie laughed as the males cheeks reddened further. "Oh Zach it was only a kiss and I am not complaining you are a very good kisser, however you are not the Salvatore that I have eyes for. Stefan and I were engaged in our former lives... however disaster struck and the two of us were pulled apart... Now... as you can see... I am stuck at seventeen I will admit though I do enjoy the perks of being young and attractive still," she joked playfully earning a wide smile from Zach.

"Well Stefan," she began turning her attention to the other vampire in the room, "These Salvatore men are very chivalrous and charming and are blessed with devilishly good looks. So how is that fair to me? You really don't give other men a chance..." she stated playfully and truthfully she wasn't lying.
"The Grill, it is the one place around here that serves descent bar food. It's the place to be unless you like hanging out in graveyards," he stated truthfully. There wasn't a lot in Mystic Falls but you made do with what you could. The two walked back to town it was starting to get late and the sun was beginning to dip casting shadows around them. This was his favourite time of day, everything was starting to slow down, people were finishing work and heading home for the day and everything seemed more peaceful.

They walked through the street and it wasn't long until they came to their destination, being the gentlemen that he was he pushed the door open and waited for her to enter, instantly they were hit with the smell of deep friend food and alcohol. "You pick a table and I will grab a menu," he smiled before heading over to the bar nodding his head at Matt who had just started his shift for the evening.

He hoped Elena and her friends wouldn't walk in because there was no doubt that she wouldn't cause a scene, Miss overdramatic. He turned back to find that Callie had found a seat. Smiling he headed over to her placing a menu down for her to look at he took the seat opposite her.
Elena had been sitting in her room for the last hour trying to get a hold of Jeremy but he wasn't answering her phone. Grabbing her keys and purse she walked out of her room listening to Jenna bagging around in the kitchen. She said she was going to see Stefan and would be back soon. Jumping into her car she sped off toward Stefan's house wanting to talk to him about the events of today.

It wasn't long before she pulled into their driveway, stepping out of the car she locked it before walking to the front door and knocking waiting for someone to answer.

Stefan chuckled softly as he really couldn’t blame Zach, Korrie was still just as beautiful as she was when she had been human. Why wouldn’t she receive attention from other men, he shook his head lightly. “Whoever let you lose in college should be ashamed of themselves, I can imagine all the trouble you caused.” He teased Korrie before a car outside captured his attention, he knew the sound of that car. Elena was here, and for once Stefan wished that she wasn’t walking up to the front door.

“I’ll be right now,” He murmured as he turned and headed towards the front door, he watched as Elena walked straight into the house. “Hey Elena, I know your probably confused and I’ll explain everything. But right now isn’t really a good time,” He told his girlfriend as he wanted to spend more time with Korrie, he hadn’t seen her in centuries and all he wanted was to catch up with her without any other distractions. He also hadn’t told Elena about Korrie, because he honestly didn’t think she was alive and it did hurt talking about the love of his life and how he stupidly lost her.
Zach looked at Korrie once Stefan excused himself, “How had no one told me about you and Stefan? Now I feel… weird…” He looked at the brunette before laughing softly, “And I wasn’t that drunk that night. But I had drunk enough to not know what I was doing, and he let me kiss you.” He grinned at her before he glanced towards the front door, he saw Elena before he looked back at Korrie.

“Did you want me to show you around?” He asked even though he was certain that Korrie knew who had just arrived, but he wasn’t sure how this was going to go down. He had only met Elena a few times before and she was nice enough, but he didn’t know much about her.
Callie smiled as she stepped into The Grill, she nodded her head before her eyes scanned over the restaurant. She found an empty table off to the side, she walked over and sat down before Jeremy joined her. She took a menu from him and opened it, she wasn’t overly hungry even though the menu looked really good for a small town. “Is he a friend?” She asked as she glanced over the blonde male that had smiled at Jeremy when he was getting the menus, if he was then Callie would eventually want to meet the blonde as well.

She wanted to meet the people in Jeremy’s life, she knew that was moving quickly but she liked Jeremy and she had a good feeling about him. Besides if Korrie now had Stefan back in her life, then she might be in Mystic Falls for a while and so far, she had nothing to complain about. At least she hoped that Korrie would want to stay in the small town, she would need to talk to her friend about it later because Callie actually did want to stay.

Korrie nodded her head when Stefan said he would be right back, she too heard the vehicle pull up and assumed it was Elena especially after the events of today. She turned her attention back to Zach laughter falling from her lips as he commented about how drunk he wasn't.

"Maybe I did Zachary Salvatore... what can I say... you Salvatore men are all so attractive," Korrie could hear Elena's voice and knew that it was probably her time to leave. She shook her head. "No thanks Zach. I think it is time I left, I should probably find out what Callie is doing," with that she moved toward the door.

"Hello Elena..." she greeted the brunette, "I will see you later Stefan," with that she moved passed the two and walked back into town knowing she would have to go back to the school and collect her car. Pulling out her phone she shot Callie a text message

    Hey girlie,
Just heading back to the car.
I'll see you tonight back at the house

"Yeah, he is more of a friend to my sister... Ex boyfriend actually," Jeremy's eyes scanned over the menu but he already knew what he wanted. "Hey do you have a certain time you have to be home?" he wanted to make sure that she was home on time, he didn't really feel like getting on the bad side of Korrie.

Lifting his arm he waved over a waiter when he heard Callie's phone beep. He watched as the waiter walked over.

"Is everything okay?" he asked his dark eyes landing back on the blonde.
"Yes... Stefan what is going on? Who is..." Elena began but her voice trailed when she noticed the girl from earlier.

"Hello," she greeted before the dark haired female moved passed the two of them and began to walk off. Her attention turned back to Stefan her eye brows raised. "Okay we really need to talk," she stated before walking passed the male and into the house. "Who is she?" Elena didn't want to be this, she didn't want to be the pedantic girlfriend who was always afraid when her boyfriend spoke to another girl.

Stefan watched as Korrie left and Elena walked past him to go inside, he knew he needed to tell Elena everything. Thankfully she already knew about Katherine, so he wouldn’t have to go into all of that again. “We were engaged,” He told his girlfriend and watched the shock flash in her dark eyes, “Sit down and I’ll tell you everything.” He knew it would be a lot for her to take in, he was hoping that she would take it good enough to the point where she understood he had a life a long time ago.

Guiding her into the lounge room, he sat down on the leather couch and watched Elena closely as she did the same. “It was before Katherine came into my life, our fathers agreed that Korrie and I should have an arranged marriage. We spent most of our time together and we did fall in love, I wanted to marry her but that’s when Katherine showed up.” He explained to Elena slowly so she would be able to listen to what he was saying, and deal with it as he wanted Korrie back in his life.

“It was a very different time back then, I never told you because I honestly thought Korrie had died. After Katherine and being turned, I never saw Korrie again. I assumed she moved on and I had hoped she had died from old age, I only found out today that she had been turned not long after I had been.” He wanted to be honest with Elena, he didn’t want to be someone who kept secrets from the people he cared about.
Callie shook her head lightly, “No. As long as I don’t get home super late, but Korrie would probably prefer that I wasn’t out long after the sun goes down.” She shrugged her shoulders lightly, Korrie never actually stated a time that she wanted Callie home but often told her not to stay out too long after dark. She opened Korrie’s message before replying to her best friend

    Hey
No problem, I’m at Mystic Grill with Jeremy.
    I’ll see you at home.

Setting her phone back down onto the table she smiled at the waiter and ordered herself a diet coke with a bowl of fries and tomato sauce, she waited until Jeremy order for himself. “Oh yeah, just Korrie checking in. She’d heading home now,” She told him as she rested her arms on the table, “You’ll have to meet her properly sometime. And my mum when she gets here,” She smiled as she knew both her mum and Korrie would really like Jeremy, that was important to Callie. Her mum and Korrie were all she had now in her life, she would take a bullet for both of those women so she wanted Jeremy to know them as well.

Korrie heard her phone beep in her pocket, fishing the mechanical device out of her pocket she read over the message a smile spreading across her face, she was so happy that she had found someone she could talk to and hang out with now they were in Mystic Falls. She wasn't far from the school looking up she saw her car parked where she had left it earlier today. Grabbing her keys she unlocked the vehicle before stepping into it.

Once seated she composed a reply to Callie.

    Have fun with Jeremy

Starting her car she sped off toward the house where Callie, herself and Callie's mother would be living for the next however long. She had been told that the keys would be in the letter box waiting for her arrival. As she drove her thoughts wandered back to Stefan and Damon and their encounter today. How she had missed both of them so much and seeing them again had brought back memories and feelings. Seeing Damon again, seeing his smile how easy it was to fall back into how they used to be. It felt nice. Seeing Stefan even thought it was strange and it hurt, she knew that it would be okay. That she needed to get over her emotions and get to know him again and that meant his now girlfriend and her friends. She was excited to be hosting a dinner party for all of them.

Korrie pulled into the drive way and switched the engine off. Walking to the mailbox she grabbed the key and opened the house up smiling to herself. She was back home. A place she had wanted to return to for years
Jeremy nodded his head he could understand the curfew especially with the things that had been happening around her lately.

"Of course, after we finish our meal I can take you home," he smiled at her. She was stunning, he couldn't really believe that he was sitting in a bar with her, he had been surprised how quickly the two had connected. Jeremy liked the way she was open with him. That she didn't try and hide him from the supernatural elements and creatures that were around them. It was refreshing after everything that had happened between Elena.

"Oh of course, it is a little later then I anticipated." he paused, "I would love to meet them properly. I am sure they are both amazing women. However if I am to meet your mother I am going to need to know her name," he joked playfully.
Elena listened to Stefan's story, she couldn't believe he had been engaged. To be honest her mind was reeling with the information she had just been told. She couldn't help the fear that began to spread through her.

"What does that mean for us?" she didn't want to say exactly what she was thinking. was Korrie going to be an issue? she honestly hope that she wasn't. Elena had barely spoken to her and today she had been so calm and easy when Elena had come around to the house, she hadn't been hostile toward her instead she had greeted her said goodbye to Stefan and left. As if she knew the two would have some things to talk about.

She was honestly confused and unsure of what to think of the whole situation.

Stefan looked at Elena and the last thing he wanted to do was hurt her, he did love her and although their love didn’t feel as strong as the love he had for Korrie. That love had been a very long time ago, he had learnt to live in the moment and right now Elena had stolen his heart. “It means that nothing changes between us, it was a long time ago Elena. And yes, I would like to have Korrie back in my life but as a friend.” He assured the brunette standing before him, he took her hands into his own as his eyes focused on her.

“And I would like for you to actually meet Korrie, I know you’ll like her. She isn’t here to cause any trouble,” He hoped Elena would agree to that, because he knew Korrie was an amazing person. It would be nice if the people in his life could be friends with the beauty that he had known long ago.

“She wants to hold a dinner here, the gang is invited. Even Jeremy can come, I hear he’s taken interest in the blond witch we saw earlier today.” Stefan explained to his girlfriend about the girl Korrie seemed to be close with, he also wanted to know more about their relationship as he wanted to make sure that Jeremy wouldn’t be in harm’s way if he did befriend this witch.
Callie smiled at Korrie’s message before she put her phone back into her bag, but her smile only widened after Jeremy agreed to take her home. He was incredibly sweet and thoughtful, why he didn’t have more friends was beyond her. But she didn’t care about that, because he had quickly become her friend and that’s all she ever wanted.

She wanted to have a friend, someone who she could tell everything to and wouldn’t think she’s crazy if she told them she was a witch. But she had tried that many times with kids from previous schools, and it never worked because her mum would always drag her away before any real friendship could form.

“Tess, this is us.” Callie told Jeremy as she reached for her phone again, finding the picture that Korrie had taken of her and her mum only a few weeks ago. She knew her mum would be a little weary of Jeremy to begin with, she always had been around new people. But she knew her mum would really like Jeremy and so would Korrie, she smiled when their meals were brought over. She thanked the waiter as she took a sip of her drink, the Grill seemed to be like the place to be for people to hang out. The atmosphere was friendly and Callie hadn’t felt that for a long time.

Korrie opened the door to her house and flicked on a few lights, she suddenly had a strange feeling wash over her, her senses were tingling and not in a good way. She knew she shouldn't go full vampire but she decided to be as quiet as she could. Walking into the lounge room she flicked on a light her fangs bared and a snarl ripping through her throat.

    "Korrie! It's me!"

"Tess?" instantly her fangs disappeared and she eased off. "What? How did you get in here? Where is your car?" she spitfired at the woman, she had been sitting on the lounge however now she was on her feet with her hands out in front of her in surrender.

"You gave me the spare key before you left," Korrie noticed the way her lips quirked as if she was fighting back a smile.

"Oh right... Goddamn it woman, you couldn't have shot me a text or something to tell me you would be here?" she asked.

"I didn't think it would matter that much... but I will remember for next time. Come on sit down and tell me where you have been and where my daughter is." Korrie laughed and walked around taking a seat next to Tess.

"Well first day of school and if I am being honest it was a train wreck. I mean I saw my ex-fiance and his girl friend who I thought and both Callie and I thought was Katherine. Turned out it wasn't, that was after your daughter got a nose bleed. Luckily for me I got her out of sight before anyone saw. Found out that Stefan's girlfriend is a dopleganger, a descendent of Katherine so that was great. And then I went back to his house and saw his brother, my best friend, again which was fantastic while you charming daughter spent the evening with a boy by the name of Jeremy Gilbert. Stefan's girlfriend's brother... and that has been my day."

"Sound eventful. And where is my darling daughter now?"

"With Jeremy he is showing her the sites. She should be home soon though, have you told her you were coming today?" Tess shook her head. "Right... well I am sure she will be happy to see you."
"Oh nice, she seems nice... when does she get into town do you know?" Jeremy asked as he eyes scanned the photograph of her mother. The male assumed she got her looks from her father as Tess had dark hair and eyes while Callie was blonde haired and blue eyed. He finished his drink before getting to his feet.

"Well I suppose I had better get you home. I don't need Korrie on my back," he smiled down at her watching as she got to her feet and the two left The Grill. He waited for the blonde to begin walking in the direction of her house because naturally he had no idea where she was living.

The walk was quiet before he broke it. "I have had a great time with you today Callie,"

Tess looked at Korrie, “And how are you after seeing Stefan?” She knew all about that part of Korrie’s life, she knew what it felt like to have true love and she also knew what it felt like to lose the love of her life. Which is what Korrie also has gone through, but now Stefan was here in Mystic Falls and he was very much alive. Well as alive as a vampire can be, apparently, he mustn’t have been stuck in the tomb like Korrie had first thought.

She wasn’t pleased to hear about her daughter getting a nose bleed, she had thought the move and then starting school straight away would be too much for her. Especially since she lost her father, she hasn’t had the best control over her magic. Her emotions are much too raw at the moment, plus seeing a Katherine look alike probably didn’t help much. Tess knew and felt the same hatred her daughter had for Katherine, after what she did to Stefan and Korrie.

“Can we trust this girl? If she turns out to be anything like Katherine, then I’m getting you and Callie out of this town.” Even though Korrie was older than Tess, she still felt motherly towards the vampire. It all started when she learned she was pregnant, she just wanted to protect the people she loved and right now those people where Callie and Korrie.

Reaching over her hand found Korrie’s, giving her a reassuring squeeze. “We don’t have to stay, you know that. If there’s too much pain, we can find somewhere else to live. Callie will find another cute boy to be friends with,” Tess looked at her friend, she’d do anything for her girls including moving to another town or maybe to a different city.
Callie shook her head, “I’m not sure when she’s getting here. Soon I hope,” She smiled as she also finished her drink before she stood up, grabbing her bag as she headed out of the Grill. Turning in the direction of the new house, she walked silently with Jeremy beside her but it was a comfortable silence. She didn’t feel the need to talk to him, things never once felt awkward with him.

A light flush tinted her cheeks when Jeremy spoke, looking over at him she couldn’t stop from smiling. “I have too, I honestly never expected my first day to be this great.” She had dreaded her first week at the school, but it mostly ran smoothly and most of that was because she had met Jeremy.

“Hopefully you haven’t gotten sick of me yet,” She joked as she tucked some of her blonde locks behind her ear, they walked along the house lined streets until Callie paused at the house that she now called home.

“This is me,” Should she invite him inside? Would that be weird? Callie could see a light was on inside the house, so Korrie was waiting inside.

(I actually forgot about Elena in my last reply... my bad tehe)

Jeremy stopped outside the front door of her house, he had decided it was the gentlemanly thing to do.

"I don't think I will get sick of you Callie, you are a very interesting person," he answered and he wasn't lying there was so much about Callie that he could learn, that and she held great conversations and he didn't feel like an idiot when he brought up supernatural things around her because she knew exactly what he was talking about.

"You have a nice house," he stated lifting his head and looking up which he then realised was a bad idea as they were under a porch and he couldn't see anything. Quickly he pulled his gaze away but that didn't stop his neck from flushing with embarrassment. "I see that Korrie is home," he stated nodding his head in the direction of the light. He paused briefly before turning his attention fully to the girl who stood in front of him now.

"I had a great time today Callie, I know we only just met but uh..." he stammered he wasn't sure what to say but he knew what he wanted to do. Throwing all caution to the wind he stepped closer to her and pressed his lips against hers.
"I am okay," Korrie wasn't lying she was okay after seeing Stefan it was most certainly a shock but spending the better part of a day with him and talking to him the anger inside her had subsided and she was able to enjoy his company again. She had missed him so much, everything about him. "Also I gotta say it was great seeing Damon again,"

When Tess mentioned Elena, if she was anything like Katherine she knew that there was no way she could be trusted however she was yet to find out what she was really like as she had only spent a few minutes in her presence before disappearing.

"Alright," Korrie nodded her head in understanding, "If she is anything like Katherine we will all leave town and never come back." and it was the truth, if Elena turned out to be like Katherine Korrie knew she would have to leave just to make sure she didn't end up killing her. Even if she was human.

"Absolutely not, we must stay. Callie needs to settle down somewhere at least for a little while and she has so quickly made a friend I honestly think we will all be fine here," and she wasn't lying from the interaction between the Salvatore brothers she had a feeling that she had both Damon and Stefan to help with the protection of Tess and Callie.

Tess laughed as she looked at her adoptive daughter nodding her head, "You seem to be very certain of this Jeremy boy."

"Oh believe me, I am, wait until you meet him. He is rather attractive if I do say so myself," she joked before both of them burst out laughing. It had been so long since Korrie had heard Tess laugh, a real laugh, and it was nice to hear it again.
Elena was skeptical about this situation with Korrie, she couldn't help the jealousy that was creeping up inside her but she nodded her head and tried to be understanding, from what Stefan was saying he seemed sincere with his words. That Korrie didn't in fact cause any sort of affect on his feelings for her.

"Really?" Elena was startled by how out of the blue the request was but she nodded her head, "Alright I will ask the others." Elena thought back to earlier today when Jeremy had been so concerned about the blonde she couldn't help but feel relieved. "Alright I will ask him." she smiled at Stefan.

"Oh brother this dinner is most certainly going to be interesting, you ex-fiance and your new girlfriend. I am loving the idea already," Damon's voice came from the doorway which caused Elena to glare up at him.

(I didn’t even notice you missed Elena’s part!)

Stefan knew the request for the dinner was sudden, but the sooner Elena agreed to being at the dinner party then the sooner Korrie could throw one. And he did want Korrie to meet his new friends, which is why he invited Jeremy as it would hopefully encourage Elena to agree. Which she did. “Great, thank you. It will be a good night, I promise.” He grinned as he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

He only pulled back from the kiss when his brother stuck his nose into business that didn’t involve him, “Don’t you have somewhere else to be, Damon? Someone else to annoy, surely you do.” Stefan looked over at his brother, but Damon was right.

Having Korrie and Elena in the same room was going to be interesting, he knew that Korrie wouldn’t cause a sense but he wasn’t entirely sure how Elena would act. Admittedly he did know Korrie more, he knew how sweet and thoughtful she always was. She wouldn’t do anything, if it would cause another person harm or if it would upset them.
Tess laughed for the first time in… well, she forgot how long it had been. “You’re right, we’ll stay in town. If Callie’s made a friend already than we must, she’s struggled to make friends which we both know isn’t like her. And Stefan is here, so we can’t leave” Tess sighed softly as she could see how her daughter had been struggling with everything lately, so having a home would be good for all of them.

“I look forward to meeting this boy, I might have to sit Callie down and have the talk.” Tess smiled over at Korrie, she had already spoken to her daughter about boys and sex. Callie had been so embarrassed that she ran to Korrie afterwards and complained, Tess had found it amusing even though she thought Callie was too young for the talk at the time.

“Where is that girl? She should have been here by now,” Tess glanced at the watch around her wrist, it was getting late and she still hadn’t seen her daughter.
Callie looked at Jeremy and smiled softly, “Thanks.” She did like the house that her mum had brought, not that she had time to unpack or anything. She nodded her head lightly, “She is.” She spoke quietly as she wasn’t sure if Korrie was listening in to what they were saying, she hoped not as it would be embarrassing if she was.

She went to invite Jeremy inside, but she froze when she noticed how close he was getting to her. Her heart was racing in her chest and she was so nervous, but her eyes fluttered shut as she returned the kiss. She knew Korrie would have noticed how fast her heart was beating.

After a few moments, she pulled back from his lips, a flush settling on her cheeks as she looked at him. She hadn’t been expecting Jeremy to kiss her, they had only just met but it was really nice. He knew that she was a witch, that her best friend was a vampire and he was fine with it. Which made Callie comfortable with him and it made her trust him, plus he was an amazing kisser.

“I hope you don’t go around kissing all the new girls you meet,” She smiled as she was joking, he didn’t seem like that type of guy. But she wasn’t sure what else she could say, she was still reeling from the kiss and she didn’t want to say something stupid.

Jeremy laughed, "Only the good looking ones," he teased playfully. That was until the door opened, quickly he moved back from her, turning his head he saw that Korrie was standing in the doorway a wide grin spread across her face. He felt his cheek flush he really hoped she hadn't seen the two of them kiss.

"Hello Jeremy," she greeted him her smile widening even more and he saw a cheeky glint in her eyes, she had most certainly seen the two of them kiss.

"Hello Korrie," he greeted his eyes locking with hers briefly before they darted to the ground. Embarrassment taking over his body. "Would you like to come in?" the dark haired vampire asked. Jeremy was nervous but he didn't want to be rude and he had no where to be so he nodded his head. Korrie opened the door wider allowing the male to walk in followed by Callie.

Korrie shot Callie a cheeky look brows raised and a toothy grin spread across her face.

"Tess, we have guests," Korrie called out which in turn caused movement from the lounge room and within seconds Tess was standing before the three of them a smile spread across her face when her eyes landed on Jeremy.

"Hello," she greeted, "I'm Tess, Callie's mother."

"Jeremy," Jeremy held out his had and Tess gave it a firm shake.

"Lovely to meet you. Come in I will get us some drinks."

"No that's okay Tess, I can do that, you three go sit down in the lounge room," Korrie insisted.
"Oh I do... but... I don't really want to go anywhere, not with what you two love birds are talking about... speaking of. Shall I call Korrie now and let her know that Elena has given you the all clear." Damon asked his light eyes wandering over to Elena.

Things were going to get interesting when Korrie came to the Salvatore mansion to host a dinner party with all of Stefan's new friends, Damom knew that the vampire would never cause a scene but he honestly wasn't sure about Elena.

Stefan held back from gritting his teeth, he knew what his brother was like. This is what Damon did to pass the time, he found amusement in other’s misfortune. Which is the only reason why he was being a pain right now, “Instead of calling her, why don’t you go find Korrie and tell her in person. Besides I’m sure you still want to catch up with her, you haven’t seen her for a long time. Go chat,” Stefan looked at his older brother, he hoped Damon would leave to go find Korrie because he wasn’t making things any easier.

He didn’t want Elena to feel threatened now that Korrie was in town, although he wouldn’t blame her if she did. He still remembered to how threaten he felt every time Elena would talk or hang out with Matt, and he had only been her boyfriend. Korrie had been engaged to marry Stefan, it was no wonder Elena was tense now that Korrie was in Mystic Falls.

“Just ignore him, you know how he gets.” Stefan looked at his girlfriend and tried to reassure her, he couldn’t tell if he was successful or not.
Callie sent Jeremy a glare at his comment about him kissing pretty girls, but then the front door was suddenly pulled open to reveal Korrie. Instantly Callie could feel her face heat up in embarrassment, had she seen Callie kissing Jeremy? God, she hoped not, but knowing Korrie she would have heard them and would have sneaked a peeked.

When Korrie invited Jeremy inside, she sent her best friend a pleading look. She really liked Jeremy, she couldn’t deal with seeing him again if Korrie decided to embarrass her further. She stepped into the house before she froze, “Mom? When did you get here? Why didn’t you tell me?” She asked as she rushed over and hugged Tess tightly, which was instantly returned plus Callie got a motherly kiss on the top of her head.

“I wanted to surprise you, sweetie. And it’s a good thing that I did, because if I hadn’t then I wouldn’t have met your friend.” Tess smiled over at Jeremy, Korrie was right about him. Tess had a good feeling about him, and she was usually right when it came to her gut feeling.

“So how was your first day? Korrie mentioned to me that you took care of my little girl today, thank you Jeremy.” Tess smiled as the three of them sat down in the lounge room, “My day was fine. Jeremy showed me around the school,” Callie glanced over at him with an apologetic expression in her eyes, she certainly hadn’t meant for this to happen so quickly.

"I might just do that," Damon said before turning on his heels. As much as he wanted to stir up trouble between the two he also wanted to see Korrie again, he had forgotten how long it had been and the two needed to catch up. There was so much he wanted to talk to her about. Grabbing his jacket from the hanger on the wall he slipped out the front door walking over to his car and jumping in. The raven haired male had no idea where she lived but he would have to drive very slow past every house until he saw her.
Elena tried to shrug off what Damon had said, she was feeing threatened and she wasn't going to lie about it either. Her and Stefan had only just started dating and already someone had popped up and could possibly break them up. She couldn't have that. Then again she also didn't want to see Stefan sad.

Sighing she turned her attention to Stefan. "I'm not sure Stefan... I mean she has just come back into your life now... doesn't that seem a little suspicious?" she asked looking at the vampire who sat beside her.
Korrie stood in the kitchen waiting for the kettle to boil, she had a pot of tea ready to be filled as well as a coffee press, she wasn't sure what the others wanted to drink so why not make everything. The kettle dinged and she quickly filled the two objects grabbing four mugs from the cupboard she balanced them on a tray and walked back out into the lounge room where they were all sitting, talking, Jeremy looked timid and uncomfortable she couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. He probably didn't think he would be meeting Tess this soon.

"I come baring gifts," she said placing the tray down. "Do you want something to eat? I think we have some cookies tucked away in the kitchen somewhere. Tess have you eaten yet? I can whip you up some dinner."

"Thank you Korrie, but I am fine. Sit down I want to hear about your day as well... You may be older than me but it's my maternal instinct kicking in."

"Oh me?" Korrie began as she sat down, "Oh nothing happened to me today, just another day at school really." okay she was lying but she didn't really feel like talking about Stefan anymore, she had already told her most of it earlier when Tess surprised her she didn't feel like talking about it further.

That was when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it!" she jumped off of the chair and hurried toward the door.
Jeremy was overwhelmed, he wasn't expecting to see Callie's mum yet, or at all to be honest, yet here he was sitting on a couch talking to her. As he looked at Tess he noticed how little her daughter looked like her, where Callie had straight blonde hair her mother had wavy brown hair, and instead of blue eyes she had dark eyes. Jeremy came to the conclusion that she must have taken after her father in the looks department.

Jeremy was startled by the sound of the doorbell, he watched as Korrie hurried toward it. He turned his attention back to Callie and Tess.

"So how long do you think you will be staying in Mystic Falls for?" he was trying to make small talk to try and make the atmosphere less constricting he was almost finding it hard to breathe.
