Victoria twirled her necklace around her fingers as she looked out of the window to her car. The premier to her new movie had just been shown, and it was now time to make an entrance to the after party. Which she was sure was going to be hectic for her. After all, she was the main actress in the movie. This meant talking to movie employees, getting congratulations, and the media hounding her for the next few weeks. Not that Victoria really minded any of it. She enjoyed the attention, and Victoria loved the movie that had been created. She believed it was going to be a hit in theaters once it was officially released. But she did wish the paparazzi would calm down a bit. They had been getting in her face a lot lately.

Once the driver pulled up to the party, Victoria slid out of the car and through the flashing lights into the venue. She smiled, waved and even stopped to answer a few questions. Doing so was both good for her image, but also the promotion of the movie. After a few minutes, Victoria finally made it inside where people were chatting away happily, drinking, eating and generally have a great time.
Hye leaned back into his chair, glancing at his agent, Harris before he started to look around the conference room. There wasn't anything too special about it. The room looked nice enough and the building looked out to the ocean and a beautiful, warm day. But besides that it wasn't anything special and there wasn't anything to keep him from being bored. So Hye pulled out his phone and moved his attention to the internet.

He was currently at Lorings Sound Studio, waiting for Aria and her agent to come in. It had been decided by their respective companies that Hye and Aria would be a good match to make a single together. The hope was that they would be able to make a mix of a k pop and american pop song, that would hopefully sell globally. But the artists still needed to meet, contracts needed to be signed, decisions made, a song created and, of course, they needed to figure out if their voices were as compatible as everyone hoped.

  • (I'm assuming Kieran's an actor, too. If not, let me know, and I'll edit his bit!)

Kieran was used to these parties. They were huge and crowded, but he didn't mind. At least he could converse with others and not be stuck reading scripts all day or acting out scenes on a set. Of course, he loved what he did, but it did become a little routine after a while, and that sometimes got boring. For now, he wanted to enjoy the party, especially since the screening of the movie seemed to have been fairly successful.

Glancing around, he looked for the star - the lead actress, Victoria Summers. The least he could do was congratulate her on a wonderful performance and introduce himself; they hadn't really spoken before. It didn't take long for him to spot her and he made his way over quickly. "Hello," he greeted with a smile. "Victoria Summers, right? You did well in your role. I wanted to congratulate you on a job well done, as well as introduce myself." He nodded once and extended his hand. "Kieran Terigo."
Aria followed her agent into the building, though she mostly hoped that this meeting wouldn't last too long, because she was honestly hungry. Her agent had her on a strict diet, which didn't really serve to calm her hunger any, and she planned to sneak away to eat a bit if she could. The sooner this meeting ended, the sooner she could manage to do that - or at least figure out a plan on how to do that.

As they got into the conference room, her eyes went to the pair who were already there. With a smile, she made her way over, as did her agent, though he looked more stern than she did. "Hello," she greeted cheerfully, though she looked to her agent when he cleared his throat to attract attention to himself. "Let's get down to business, shall we?" he suggested as he took a seat. "The sooner we get everything straightened out, the sooner we can see whether these two can manage to sing well together."

Victoria looked up as Kieran made his way over to her. Though a smile spread across her face as he started to introduce himself. Of course she knew Kieran. He was a pretty big actor in Hollywood. And it was actually surprising that they had never crossed paths before.

"Hello Kieran, it is very nice to finally meet you. I feel like I have heard so much about you but we never crossed paths." Victoria said warmly as she took his hand, shaking it. "And thank you very much. I am glad that you liked it." It was nice when she got congratulations from other actors, especially ones as good as Kieran. It was just that they knew what went into delivering a character well.
As Aria and her agent walked into the conference room, Hye set his phone down and to the side. It would be rude to stay on his phone, besides this had his full attention. He was interested in working with Aria. She was an amazing artist and did very well in the United States. Plus working with her would increase the audience he reached for that song. So Hye just hoped that this was going to work out. "Hello." He told her as they walked in.

Once Aria's agent wanted to get into business, Hye leaned back a bit. He knew this was going to consistent of a couple minutes of the two agents going back and forth. Really he wished this was something that could be done beforehand. But even when they did, there was always some wheeling and dealing when they meant all together. "Yes." Harris said as he pulled out the contract. There were red marks throughout it about what needed to be removed and changed. "Here is the edited contract for you to look over later." Harris said as he passed it over. "But we can talk it over more in detail once you get a chance to read it over."

  • Kieran chuckled quietly at her response and nodded slightly. "Yes, I have to agree with that," he said honestly. "But, I suppose an explanation would be that I've been very busy myself. Considering your recent work, it seems you've been busy as well, so that could explain why we haven't had a chance to meet until now?" It seemed as good an explanation as any other. Moreover, he was sure that it was very true; he was only even able to be at this party now because the movie that he was working on recently finished filming.

"Oh, you don't have to thank me. I feel it's important to let others know when they do well in their roles. When others complimented me on my work, I always felt like it helped in my next role, since it gave me more self-confidence. It's only fair that I offer up the same possibility for others, especially if their work caught my attention." He grinned slightly, though, and shrugged. "Perhaps we'll end up working on a movie some day, too, considering how well you've done."
Evan took the papers with a small nod as he flipped the pages, just enough to skim through it. "I think that would be best," he decided with a nod. After all, he could read over it while they checked Hye's and Aria's abilities to sing together. If that went well, then he wouldn't have any qualms in signing the paperwork, so long as they could agree on the important bits. "Perhaps we should go ahead and test these two, then? It would be a shame for us to waste our time on all of this, only for them to find it difficult to work together on this."

Aria really had been waiting for a quicker meeting, but she figured that if their agents wanted them to sing, they might as well. She was a little eager to possibly work with Hye; she'd never done an official duet with anybody and she was curious to what their single would be like, if they got to the point of making one. She didn't interfere in the conversation between the agents, though; business wasn't her strong suit and it wasn't her place to mention anything, either.
