Emma was up to something. That much
Allison knew. She hadn't given it much thought when her friend asked her come for a visit once the summer holidays started for her in June A) Because she and her friend had been talking about her coming across the pond to visit since their first summer break at Brown, and B) Because her friend had just started filming for
Beauty and the Beast and Allison was a major Disney geek. What elementary school teacher wasn't though? But now she was starting to think that her friend had an ulterior motive for inviting her to stay at her flat and asking her to come straight to set from the airport. She was eager to see her friend, but there had been a certain tone to her voice that let on that she was hiding something, plotting, or both. Knowing Emma, Allison was certain that it was likely both even though her friend had sworn up and down that there was nothing going on at all. Before Allison was really able to question her, Emma had claimed that she had to get back to filming and that she'd see her soon in a rather rushed bout of words before hanging up the phone.
She's definitely up to something. The redhead thought to herself as she hailed a cab outside of Heathrow Airport. Thankfully customs hadn't been too much of a pain and she'd gotten through everything in just under an hour. She rattled off the address for the studio Emma had given her to the cab driver before climbing inside all the while wondering what her friend could be keeping from her.
When Luke signed on for the movie he knew that things were likely going to change. Anything with the Disney name attached to it was bound to do exceptionally well in the box office, and he was almost certain that this would be no different with how much hype the live action remake of the classic animated film was getting already when filming had only just started. The pressure was kind of on with the obvious high expectations that diehard fans of the original film already had, but something told Luke that the film was going to be great. The rest of the cast were fantastic actors, and with Alan Menken back onboard for the remake the music was bound to be just as beautifully written as the original had been. They had just wrapped up filming a scene, and he was headed towards the makeup trailer for a touch-up before he was needed for the 'Gaston' scene. They were only about halfway through filming what they'd wanted to film for the day, so he was sure that they would be there for at least a couple of more hours after lunch. He didn't mind though, he loved his job, and thus far filming for the Disney classic was proving to be a wonderfully pleasant experience.
