Harper heard Logan's footsteps fade away, she wondered why he'd even put her through this. She knew that she was beneath him, it had been made clear to her as a child. She would never be equal to a Pura. It didn't bother her, but she had always hoped there would be a life out there for her where she didn't have to scrub floors or miss her family. And now she wasn't sure what was going to happen and her brother being god knows where. It sent another wave of fits over her. Why did she have to bump into Logan. She wished now she'd been more careful, and that instead of letting her joy get the best of her she'd have kept her happiness buried. "Please be safe." She pleaded to no one, knowing that her thoughts were only on one man, and his safety was a complete mystery. She knew that with his gift he'd be able to defend himself, and protecting someone was second nature to him. He couldn't let his judgement be clouded with thoughts of her. But now hers were torn through by the growing up and being raise by her brother, since their parents sacrificed their lives to help them escape. Lifting her head she looked around, she didn't know what time it was, nor how long she'd laid on the floor. Moving she stood before looking around her room. There wasn't anything in there but a bed and a desk, nothing was in or on top of it. Walking to the left of her bed she opened it finding an in suite bathroom. Entering the bathroom she pillaged through the cabinets. A frowned made its way to her face. There wasn't anything in them but first aid items. She rolled her eyes knowing that every thing in this place had been 'child' proofed even though it wasn't needed. She wasn't suicidal, nor would hurting herself ever cross her mind. So he'd taken away everything that could aid her in escaping too.
Carter stepped from the shower, pulling a towel around his waist. Looking at himself in the mirror he smiled, it had been a while since he felt refreshed. Shaking his head he walked out of the bathroom, moving to the bed and pulling the
clothing laid out for him. Leaving the room he headed down the hallway he first came down. Letting his ears be his guide he found the dinning room easily. Entering catching the tail end of the conversation between mother and daughter. "Evening ladies." He greeted, before being ushered to a chair. Taking his seat he smiled, even though it was a strained and fake. Licking over his lips, he was famished, though he tried his best to remand composed.
