Taehyung lifted his hand brushing his fingers across her cheek, tucking her hair behind her ear. "It's the thought that counts." He smiled before dropping his hand, he'd forgotten that they'd broken up. It had felt like old times that he'd reacted instead of thinking. "I don't care if it helps or not." He told her honestly. "But please take care of yourself." He pleaded. He needed her to take care of herself so he didn't worry to much about her. He knew even if they were broken up he still wanted her.

Rhea gasped out into the kiss, her hands moving up to place on his chest. She hadn't expected him to kiss her, but she was glad, it made her light headed. Nibbling gently on his lip she deepened the kiss. "What the bloody hell?" Tye's voice rang out. His hand​ gripped her arm pulling them apart. "What do you think you're ​doing with my girl?" He questioned Yoongi, shoving him.

Lyla felt her heart beat pick up when she felt Taeyhyung's fingers against her cheek. Her eyes had closed over and she'd started to lean into his touch before he'd dropped his hand. Realizing that this wasn't the past, that she wasn't supposed to find so much comfort in his touch, she opened her eyes and cleared her throat before she glanced away. "I am," she assured as casually as she could manage. "I'm not the one who could die in any of these trials, after all. So long as you don't get yourself killed, I'll be fine."

Yoongi had been enjoying the kiss; it'd felt like it'd been too long since he'd been this close to Rhea, especially since they'd been all but outright avoiding each other the past few days. It ended far too soon, though, and his jaw clenched as he glared at Tye. "Last I checked, she got to see how much of a cheating git you are," he pointed out, "And she broke up with you because of it. If you cared about your girl so much, maybe you should have been better to her instead of flirting with everybody with a skirt - or even trying to force yourself on others."

Taehyung looked down when she dodged his gaze, a soft sigh leaving his lips. "Lyla." He said lifting his eyes to her. "I plan on proving to you I'm a better man than that." He said firmly, but his words soft. He wanted her to understand he still loved her, he just couldn't be with someone who didn't trust him. He'd never doubted her honesty or thought she'd break his heart. But she did so he needed time for that to heal. Though honestly he'd give anything to just hold her and call her his.

Rhea responded slowly, but she managed to put herself between the two boys before any wands had been draw. "I never cheated." Tre spat at Yoongi before turning his attention to the girl in front of him, "love you're really going to do this to us?" He questioned her doing his best to guilt her into giving into him. "Think of what your mother will say." He told her. "You son of a bitch." She growled out before she swung her fist, connecting with his nose. Her body lurched forward as he fell to the ground from the force. Quivering with anger she drew her wand. She'd never been one to anger so quickly, but then again she was a Slytherin.

Lyla wasn't really sure how to feel about his words. She still had her doubts when it came to Taehyung and Rhea. In reality, the argument they'd had because of her concerns hadn't really eased her worries at all but had only made them worse. What if he'd let the argument escalate and had brought up breaking up solely so he could be with Rhea? She didn't want to believe it was a possibility, but this was the first time she'd seen Taehyung without Rhea around. "You can't really prove anything if you die," she reminded quietly.

Yoongi frowned when he watched the display, though he quickly moved to place his hand over Rhea's in hopes of preventing her from throwing a spell at the guy. "He's not worth it, Rhea," he reminded quietly. "Think about it. If you do this, with others around to see, you'll get expelled. It's our last year. You can hex him as much as you want as soon as you graduate. Hell, I'll even help you." After all, it was no secret that Yoongi hated the guy, and he didn't like the way he was talking to Rhea right now, but he knew he'd been in enough trouble himself; he didn't want Rhea to get in trouble as well.

Tae frowned at her words, "you know you could have more faith in me." He told her, his eyes pleading with her to trust him. "I know I wasn't the best boyfriend ever but I was always honest and you are one of the only people that knows me." He shook his head, he figured if she was doubting his abilities then he'd already lost every thing. Her trust, her respect, and worst of all her love. Looking at the floor he figured it was time to give things a rest, she wouldn't want to fix thing with him now anyways.

Rhea frowned her anger slowly dissipating as he held her hand. "You're right." She whispered, gently pulling her hand away from Yoongi to pocket her wand. "If you ever come near me, I won't hesitate." She threw at Tre. Her glare had him cowering into the ground. Turning on her heal she huffed before walking off towards the castle, her anger getting the best of her. She didn't even think about the fact her and Yoongi had "made up".

Lyla paused when she heard his words and she stared at him for a few moments. "It's not about not having faith in you, Tae," she told him quietly, "But you saw how much research I did on the tournament. I know how unlikely it is to survive. I just..." She stared at him for a moment before she shifted, cupping his face gently to make him look at her fully. "I don't want you to die."

Yoongi passed a glance back at Tre but he quickly followed after Rhea, hoping to think of some way to calm her down. He knew it would be difficult, especially since Tre had taken things too far with his words, but he hoped that she'd remember it was him she was talking to and not Tre. "Ignore him," he mentioned after a moment. "He doesn't know what he's talking about. He's just bitter because you're not his to control."

Tae frowned feeling her hand on his face. Why was she playing with his heart like this, he knew he'd ended it but still he loved her none the less. "Lyla." He sighed, before letting his eyes linger on her lips too long. Leaning forward her pressed his lips to hers his hand grasped the back of her neck, holding her in place. He wanted to bask in her tenderness.

Rhea came to an abrupt stop turning to face Yoongi. Glaring up at him, she huffed out, trying to control her breathing. Blinking she shook her head, before placing her hands on his chest. Sighing out she cuddled up to him, resting her head against his shoulder. She was furious and didn't know how to calm herself down. But she felt safer just being next to him.

Lyla hadn't really expected for Tae to kiss her, but she'd be lying if she said she hadn't missed the feeling. Instinctively, almost immediately even, her eyes closed over and she eased into the kiss, pressing herself close to him. She doubted kissing was going to fix anything between them, but that didn't mean that she wasn't going to enjoy it while she could. If anything, she wanted to cherish this moment, because she knew there was a chance that this may never happen again.

Yoongi was more than a little surprised to feel Rhea cuddle up against him, but he felt himself relax with it. His arms wrapped around her gently and he held her close to himself, his hand rubbing her back while his head rested above hers. He wasn't sure if he was helping her at all, but he hoped that his presence would at least give her some form of comfort, even if he couldn't manage to say the right things to calm her down and comfort her. All he wanted was for her to be okay.

Taehyung basked in the kiss, his body reacting quite famously as she cuddled closer. His hands moving down to grasp her hips as he slowly backed them into the bookshelf. He knew they could get in trouble if they were caught making out in the books. But he knew this place wasn't well patrolled. Breaking the kiss he panted softly, as he stared down at her. Watching as she opened her mouth to say something, he quickly leaned forward capturing her lips again. He didn't want this to end, and he didn't want to ruin it by words.

Rhea sighed feeling his arms encase her, she didn't know why but for some reason he calmed her. She didn't understand it herself but it was the same thing that had her sleeping with him too. She felt drawn to him. Lifting her head she peered up at him. "Thank you." She breathed out softly, though she didn't dare move from his embrace. She felt that Yoongi was someone she could actually be happy with. She didn't feel the need to put on an act or airs for him. It was all her and nothing else.

It wasn't really the first time they'd made out in the bookcases, but Lyla couldn't help but to find slight amusement in it. While they weren't guaranteed to get caught, it was still a possibility. Regardless, she allowed herself to enjoy it, her hands moving so that her arms could wrap around his neck and draw them all the closer together. She could feel the bookshelf against her back, but she barely registered it over the feeling of Tae's lips on hers.

Though Yoongi hadn't really expected for her to verbally acknowledge any form of gratitude, he couldn't help but to smile when he heard her. Nodding, he ran his hand down her back gently, rubbing soothing circles against the fabric covering her. "You don't have to thank me," he assured her quietly. "You should know by now that I'll do everything I can to look out for you." Even though he hadn't been the best at showing it, he really did care about her and he hoped she knew it.

Lifting his hand to cup her cheek he smiled into the kiss, excited that she was actually kissing him back. They'd managed to mess up a relationship by being selfish and jealous. He wondered if they could actually fix their issues, if even after all the hateful things said they could put the past behind them and allow their relationship to flourish.

Rhea frowned at his words, she would always thank him even if it wasn't needed. "I know you've been better to me than anyone else." She whispered out softly, her eyes locking onto his. She didn't know what to call him but she felt more secure in his arms then she did anywhere else. "And I'll always show my gratitude to you one way or another."

Lyla grinned against his lips, her fingers lifting to thread into his hair. She felt safe there, in his hold and so close to him, and it almost felt like nothing had changed. It felt like the argument they'd had that led to their breakup had happened a lifetime ago, and that their breakup hadn't really existed. She knew that wasn't the case, but she wanted to enjoy the way the contact between them helped her forget.

Yoongi's expression softened slightly, but he offered a small nod in response before he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Okay," he murmured quietly, "I won't really bother trying to stop you in that case." His tone was slightly joking at the end and he offered a small smile before he glanced around a bit. "Do you want to stay out here or would you rather head inside before it gets chilly out here?"

Tae let out a groan before breaking the kiss, his hands held her hips refusing to let go. He knew that if they parted things could get awkward quickly if they left it like it was now. "I love you." He told her honestly, his hand gently squeezing her hips. "I love you," he stressed hoping she would understand. "And I do love Rhea but she's been a sister to me for too long, and you getting jealous over her, I won't have it." He shook his head. "So if you can't get over this insecurity then I can't be with you." He leaned his forehead against hers'. "I want you, because I love you, and I do want to be with you." He hoped she'd listen to his pleas, because this would be the only time he allowed himself to do this. "If you can't or won't then you need to leave me the bloody hell alone." He laid everything out, now she knew how he felt, it was a take it or leave it kind of deal. It sucked yes but he couldn't keep this up and he knew she couldn't either.

Yoongi's words had her smiling, "do you really think us being alone indoors is a smart idea?" She questioned him, knowing the last time she was in this state they'd had sex on the common room couch. And with her determination they'd find and empty class room and start it all over again. She knew how to sneak around the school without getting caught. It came from years of dating someone in a different house than you. Beside the Professor were to busy winding down after classes, and Flitch didn't have magical abilities so hiding from him was rather easy. "Also I don't think you'll mind keeping me warm." She smirked up at him, great now her mind was on sex.

Lyla could feel her heart clench as she listened to his words and she stared at him for a few moments. Had she been causing trouble for him? It wasn't as though she'd even been bothering him lately; any information about the tournament she'd found lately, she'd just left at his desk in their first class rather than approaching him to give him the information herself like she had the day after he'd been chosen for the tournament. "You think I want to be insecure?" she asked quietly, "The only time we ever spend time alone, just the two of us, is in moments like this, when we're making out away from everybody. If you want me to leave you alone because I can't just stop being insecure upon request, then fine. The most I can do is promise to try not to be insecure, but if that's not good enough, then I'll completely leave you alone from now on."

Yoongi blinked but chuckled quietly in response as he stared at her, though he shook his head slightly. "As much fun as I'm sure that would be, I really don't think the best idea would be for us to go and have fun," he told her honestly as he watched her for a few moments. "I want to be with you, Rhea, and I want you to know that I care about you. I don't want everything between us to be only about sex. I want us to spend time together and for us to figure out if we want to be together." After all, he wasn't sure if she'd want to jump straight into a relationship or anything, especially immediately after her official breakup with Tre. He was sure it would serve to draw attention and that Tre may go around causing trouble, but he only wanted to make sure that whatever happened between him and Rhea was because it was what she wanted and not because it was in the moment.

Tae groaned before closing his eyes. "You always have to pick apart every thing, literally." He sighed out, "I don't care if you're insecure, you can be insecure all the time, just leave Rhea out of it." He informed her. "I just want you and if you can't see that or deal with it then yeah it is best you leave me alone." He shook his head and took a step back from her. "It's not what I want." He said before lifting his sad eyes to her, they were doing it again. Ripping each other's hearts out with out meaning to. He knew she loved him and he felt the same, it should be simple then. But their words were constantly getting in the way. "Lyla." He said, before shaking his head. "I love you and if that isn't enough to help with your insecurities then tell me what I have to do."

Rhea nibbled on her lip lifting her attention to him. "Aw man I was looking forward to a bit of fun." She teased him. Before gently patting him on the chest. "I know," she agreed with everything he said, but honestly she didn't know why he didn't just ask her to be his girlfriend already. After all it had been a while since her and Tre broke up. She also could careless about what rumors Tre could spread, it wasn't like her father would believe him. The night her and Yoongi slept together she stayed up later writing her father and telling him what had happened between her and Tre. The holler she'd gotten told her how unhappy he was at him. And he forbid her to date him so it was a win win in her book. But she knew that Yoongi may still need time to deal with the sudden changes in her. She had jumped him right after fighting with her ex. It wasn't a very nice thing to do. "Just shut up and kiss me already." She told him, playfully. It was a big step between them but she was hopeful that whatever they chose to do it would end up being a happier time for her then anytime spent with Tre.

Lyla wanted to leave. She could feel her eyes burn and itch, but she didn't want to cry over Tae again. Instead, she tried to focus on what he was saying and she dropped her gaze for a moment. "How can that help with my insecurities when, the moment I made my insecurities known to you, you said that if that was how I really felt, then we should break up?" she asked quietly. "How is saying you love me supposed to help me when my insecurities caused you to break up with me in the first place? Even now, you're saying that, if I can't stop being insecure because of Rhea, then I should leave you alone. How is any of that supposed to help?"

Yoongi looked faintly amused when he heard her words, though he knew that it wasn't really anything that he should be too surprised about. He wasn't complaining at all, too. If it wasn't for how things had come to pass, he certainly wouldn't mind having fun with her soon, either, but considering she'd come to him for sex after arguing with Tre in the first place, he didn't want it to become a constant thing. But, when she told him to kiss her, he couldn't help but to chuckle quietly. "As you wish," he murmured quietly before he shifted, drawing her in close again before he pressed his lips to hers.

Tae let out a groan before moving back pressing himself on the opposite book shelf. "I know I'm an idiot, you don't have to rub it in." He wasn't joking either Tae wasn't the brightest, but that didn't mean he was stupid. "You always do this." He sighed. "You constantly hold everything I said against me, I don't know what the hell to do any more." He said shaking his head, maybe they were better off being apart no matter how much he didn't want it to be true. She just didn't see what he did, and he couldn't paint that picture again if she was constantly following behind him blacking out.

Rhea smiled into the kiss letting her hands slid up his chest to rest behind his head. She knew that what they were doing did solve any thing, it just proved there was chemistry between them. They however had to try being friends and maybe more first. Breaking the kiss she chuckled. "Better." She teased, happy this one hadn't been interrupted. "Is there anything you'd like to do?" She questioned him, she knew it would be dinner time before long. But they still had time to go for a walk or even head back to the common room and sit next to the fire. Either way they could spend that time talking, or just enjoying each others company.

"I never said you were an idiot, Tae," Lyla told him, though she could hear her voice cracking and she swallowed in hopes of avoiding it happening again. Looking away, she folded her arms across her chest in hopes of avoiding getting hurt, in hopes of keeping this conversation at a distance. "And this is the only thing I've held against you. If you want to be angry at me because I'm jealous of your best friend - who, by the way, you spend more time alone with than you ever did with me, and who you spend more time with in general than with me, so forgive me if I'm too fucking insecure for you - then so be it. I'll leave you alone." Pushing off the bookcase she'd been against, she quickly turned to leave the library as fast as she could.

Yoongi thought about the suggestion for a few moments as he tried to decide what exactly they could do for now. He knew they didn't have much time to spend time together, just the two of them, especially with dinner coming up soon, but he did want to spend as much time with her as he could manage to. After all, he wanted to make sure that they got to know each other a little better in hopes of them figuring out where they wanted to go from there. "How about we just take our time heading up to the castle?" he suggested after a moment as he turned his attention to her. "We can talk, get to know each other, maybe get closer to figuring out where we go from here?"

Tae groaned hearing her, he knew that she didn't call him an idiot. Just her throwing his words back into his face made him sure feel like one. "Lyla." He said before reached out and grabbed her arm. "Is that really what you want?" He asked, wanting to know if she really wanted whatever they had to end. Because he wouldn't try to fix this again, he couldn't keep himself stuck pining over a girl that didn't want him. She just had to say the words and he'd let her go. But he knew that if she wanted him to leave her alone it would kill him before the tournament did.

"Whatever is fine with me." She said softly, pulling back slightly. She cuddled into his side, not wanting to part from his body heat. "We already know almost everything there is too know about each other." She informed him, they did grow up together. So even if he didn't know ever dark secret about her, he still knew enough for him to like her in the first place. She also knew that he was very perceptive, he wouldn't talk much but he'd chill beside Tae and listen. So she knew what he'd allowed her to, where as he knew most everything there was beside thing about her parents. She didn't share that with anyone. The only reason Tae knew was because the summer it happened she had to spend the summer with him, and his parents were actually the ones that told her what was going on.

Lyla could feel her eyes tear up and she couldn't bring herself to face him for a few moments. When she did, though, the tears began to fall. "No, that's not what I want," she told him quietly. "I want to fix this, but it doesn't seem like it can be fixed at this point. You want me to stop being jealous of Rhea, but it's not like I have an off switch to my jealousy. I don't even want to be jealous, but I don't know if I can help it."

"I didn't know that you were with Tre because your parents wanted you two to be together or something, though," Yoongi pointed out quietly as he watched her. "I thought you were with him because you actually loved him and that that was why you wouldn't believe me when I told you he was cheating." He knew that didn't really matter right now, but she'd mentioned that they knew almost everything about each other, when he wasn't sure that was the case.
