Kent heard the loud ringing of his alarm going off, the stupid thing was one that ran away so you had to get up to turn it off. His apartment wasn't that big, it was a small one right on campus that he got for cheap, being a senior and all. He groggily climbed out of bed and began looking for the bastard clock he bought. After a few minutes he found it and got rid of the piercing sound before placing the clock back in it's spot on the night table. He was awake now. But it wasn't that bad, the weekend was starting, and that meant he had a date with his girl, which always brought a smile to his face. He wondered if either Noah or Clara had set it up to be a double date. He shrugged it off and waltzed into the kitchen, starting his kuerig up. Waiting for the coffee to be ready Kent grabbed his phone and sent his girlfriend a message. Morning babe, what time were you thinking for lunch? Are Noah and Audrey coming with his? And are we taking my car off campus, love you Just after it sent his coffe was done, he grabbed the mug and went to the living room, turning on the news as he relaxed into his couch to watch it. Kent did this daily, he thought it would somehow get him into law school to know about the real world.

Audrey had been up since nearly five, she was always awake early. She had gotten used to it. She had to be up early to study birds and bugs a lot of the time for her major classes. And now she just woke up on the dot every morning. Noah hated it when she stayed with him because he would want to sleep until eight but she'd be up making him breakfast anyway. Audrey smiled at the thought of Noah. She wasn't sure what he was doing yet today, but she knew better than to text him this early. She wasn't sure if her best friend a Kara would be up so she sent her a quick message. Hey what's up she sent before she grabbed her purse and was making her way down to the dining building. She wanted to grab some food before everyone else, that way she could take it up to her dorm without being noticed. Audrey grabbed some fruit, yogurt, and eggs, covered the plate and was waking back to her room. The sun was beginning to rise, knocking away the bitter cold of the night, and dew all across the grass. Audrey smiled, she knew today was going to be a great day.

Clara hit save of the final draft of her literature paper and heaved a sigh of relief. While she had only managed to catch about five hours of sleep, it was worth it to finish the paper early so she wouldn't have to worry about it over the weekend, which she planned to spend with Kent, her boyfriend. She pulled her hair up into a ponytail when she heard her phone go off from the small kitchen table she shared with her roommate, Alyssa. Clara didn't see much of the girl which was just fine with her as long as the rent was paid. She smiled, seeing that it was Kent texting her. At the mention of lunch, her stomach growled and sent sent a quick reply before searching for her favorite tea and the box of Choco-Puffs she had bought the day before. Morning you. Um, now? How does 1:30 sound? She never said. I can call and find out though. You drove last time, my turn. Deciding to fix her breakfast before calling her friend, Clara sat at the table bowl in hand, feet propped up. Her phone dinged again, this time a message from Audrey. Clara told the phone to dial and turned it to speaker, setting the phone on the table so her hands could focus on the food in front of her. "Morning! You never said if you and Noah were going to do the whole double date thing with me and Kent today," she said when her friend answered the phone.
Noah groaned and buried his face in the pillow. Aubrey had convinced to to get new curtains and he was sorely regretting that. The sun filtering through them made it hard to sleep past nine and that was a thing he very much enjoyed. He sent her a quick good morning text, knowing that she was already up and well into her day. Rolling out of bed he took a quick shower and headed out the door. He didn't know what his friends had planned for the day but his first stop was the bagel shop. While he was probably the only one to think so, they had some of the best coffee in town. He was just lucky that it was close to Audrey's dorm. He paid and took the short cut through campus to her building, pretending to look for his keycard until someone decided to leave so he could slip in. Taking a cautionary sip of his coffee, he rapped on the door grinning when it opened to reveal Aubrey. "Good morning, beautiful," he said, pressing his lips to hers before stepping into the room.

Kent wanted to be a lawyer, it has been his dream ever since he was a kid. He was valedictorian of his high school, and currently was of his valedictorian of his college class. As the news went on, Kent made mental notes of different things, his phone brought him out of his focus and he glanced down at it. 1:30 is fine, I'll head over to your place around noon though, and yea, just let me know, not that I care. Noah is my bud and Audrey is sweet. Sleep well? He sent and got back to his news, sipping his coffee. He didn't really have anything to do today, but he wanted to pick his apartment up a little before going to Clara's in case she came over after. When the news was dien he clicked he television off, tossed his mug into the the ever growing pile of dishes, making a mental note to take care of them, and then began to pick up around the place. The one thing that Kent hated cleaning was doing the dishes, he avoided it like the plague, occasionally convincing Clara to do it for him. They'd been together since her freshman year so she knew him well by now. He checked the time when it was done, 11:30, close enough to noon. He grabbed his black and red cinch bag, slung it over his shoulder, and began the walk to Clara's apartment.

Audrey heard her phone ring and opened it up, putting it to her ear. "Oh hey!" She giggled. "Well I never asked him, I'll just say yes and force him to go whether he wants to or not, I'm good at getting him to do things, plus we haven't all hung out in forever." Audrey paused when she heard the knock on the door. "That's probably him, I'll text you Clara, just tell me when you wanna come pick us up and where we're going. See you soon!" She said excitedly before hanging up and going to the door. Audrey basically lit up when she saw Noah. She really loved him, more than anything. Audrey grinned and kissed him gently before waking back into her room so he could follow. "Hey you, you're up early." She teased, grabbing his hand that wasn't holding the coffee. "We're going on a double date later with Kent and Clara. Just so you know, and no we can't back out." She said and moved to the small love seat she had and sat waiting for Noah to sit with her, when he did she leaned up against him.

Clara hit end on the call and finished her cereal, rinsing the bowl out leaving it in the sink for now. Her phone went off again and she replied on her way to the shower. Just got off with Aubrey. They're going too. Would have slept better if you were with me. Grinning, she tossed the phone on her bed and stripped down, starting the stream. Clara wasn't a fan of long showers and was usually in for maybe ten minutes. She dried off and wrapped a towel around her. Before setting dressed for the day, she let Aubrey know what time they were going to pick them up and turned to her closet. She decided on a white cami, green plaid shirt, matching beanie, jeans and her favorite pair of Converse. A little eyeliner and a bit of mascara and she was happy with the ensemble. The clock on her wall let her know that that it was probably time to clean up if she expected to finish before Kent got there. The apartment wasn't a mess but she liked to take her time. She was the same way with her writing which was why she was always working on her papers to the deadline. She smiled when she heard a knock at the door. "Hey, baby," she said, stepping aside to let Kent in.
Noah grinned. "I know! You see, what happened is that I let my girlfriend suggest some changes to my room and it's like my curtains let light inside," he teased, sitting down next to her before groaning. He set the coffee on the table. "Are you sire we can't get out of it?" He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and sighed. "Because I was thinking that we stay in for like, the rest of our lives and just live off the love that we share." Noah grinned, batting his eyelashes. The was not a doubt in his mind that they were going and he really wouldn't have a problem with it but he wasn't fond of his mate's girl. He placed a small kiss on Aubrey's forehead. "But I guess I'm up for it, if you want me to go." Noah teased. "How much time do we have before they get here?" He asked.

Kent liked the walk from his apartment to Clara's, it wasn't too long, and he got to see all the beautiful parts of campus. He hoped, however, next year he would be able to have an apartment not too far from campus, not too far from his Law School, and that he and Clara could share it. Hell maybe even Noah and audrey. But he wouldn't push that. He knew that Noah and Clara butted heads more than once and always would, they were just so alike. Kent knew he was the mediator of the group, those two would push buttons, and he'd had to diffuse the bomb. On rare occasions they fought enough to cause one to storm out, and each respective partner had to calm down the other. He arrived at her room and knocked, waiting for the door to open, when it did he grinned. "Hey yourself." He murmured and stepped in, shutting the door he hugged Clara and kissed the top of her head. "Your roommate here?" He asked as he made his way into the heart of the apartment. He knew it as well as his own, he was here enough. Kent leaned up against the island in the kitchen and looked around. "You cleaned up too?" He grinned and smiled at her, Holding his hand out for hers. "We haven't gone on a double date in forever you know."

Audrey just shook her head and giggled as Noah teased her, she grabbed his hand and played absentmindedly with his fingers. "Natural light is good for you Mr. Michaels." She said and kissed his knuckles, looking up as he spoke. "Now, that would definitely be amazing, however, I think food is kinda important, and I don't wanna resort to eating you." She teased back. Audrey loved that the two were so good with each other, the teasing didn't bother either one of them, although when Noah was in a mood, or they were fighting. His comments scared her because she didn't know if they were real or not. Audrey shook her head and booped his nose. "Awh yay, I love you." She returned the kiss to his head before leaning back into the couch. "Clara said 1:30 so a couple hours." Audrey told him and looked up again. "Is yours all alone for a few hours and then this afternoon. And tomorrow too. But monday I have a test so I do have to focus on that monday, we can hang out after though."
