Katherine, or as she preferred Katie, sighed to herself as she walked down the halls of the infamous school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She still couldn't believe that it was her final year. However, she knew better than to think that she was actually going to be leaving. Once she finished school at Hogwarts, Katie's hope was to come back as a Professor. Throughout the last two years, her 6th and now 7th year, Katie had been getting mentored by her favorite professor, Professor McGonagall, who had done nothing but encourage her to follow her passion to become a teacher. As she continued down the hall, a small smile danced across her face as she passed by some friends; Fred and George, Harry, Hermione, and Ron. She simply nodded to them before taking a turn that led her out of the castle and into the courtyard. She took a deep breath in, then slowly released it, allowing her to take in the freedom she had for the remaining part of the day. She looked around to make sure no one was following her before heading towards the lake. That had always been her quiet place...the lake. It gave her place to read, or just admire the beauty that surrounded the school. When she made it to the lake, Katie magically placed a blanket on the plush grass then sat down, pulling out a book from her bag.
Fred had just finished up Potions class with Professor Slughorn and was now making his way to the Grand Hall for food. There he walked with his twin brother, then his other brother, along with two friends. Throughout the last 7 years, Fred knew that everyone in this group had become more than friends...they had become family. When he entered the Grand Hall, he waved to a couple of guys at the Gryffindor table, then motioned for the others to sit down. He too sat down, looking around the room to see who else, in the other houses, had graced their presences. One particular girl caught his eye for a moment, and it took him forever to remember if he knew her or not. The thing was you'd think that by your 7th year, that someone would know just about every person in the school; however, that wasn't always the case. Glancing at the young blonde sitting at the Ravenclaw table, Fred quietly turned to Hermione and whispered to her if she knew who the blonde was. When she told him who she was, Fred's eyes lit up. Even though, he just seen her for what he thought was probably the first time, all Fred wanted to do was to get to possibly know the girl a little more. However, he wasn't going to rush anything, or come across as too weird. This was his last year here which meant he may not be able to see her again after this year. He quietly thanked Hermione and then started eating some food before excusing himself to go talk to the blonde. When he approached the Ravenclaw table, he said a small hello to those he knew before turning to the young girl. "Hello Juliette." He said with a small charming smile.
