Office Romance

Jethro turned seeing his niece. He walked over hugging and kissing her head. Seeing Tim nervous, Jethro stared at the young man. "Why is he so nervous again?" Jethro asked.

"We're having a baby." Johanna blurted out.

"I knew it!" Abby screamed out. "Two NCIS babies." Abby laughed out.

Johanna smiled, "Yeah." Johanna patted Tim's back.

"Well you're on desk duty as well." Jethro said to his neice smiling lightly. "Tim we'll talk later." Jethro said firm.

"Oh Johanna, that is so wonderful!" Ellie said with a bright smile, her mood quickly changing. She carefully rose from her desk chair and walked over to hug Johanna. "We can keep each other entertained." She exclaimed. "How far along are you?"

"Wow wow McGeek...look at you becoming a McHusband and now you're a McDaddy...way tot go." Tony teased him, winking at him, and then patted the young man on the back. "But seriously, congrats."

Tim smiled at Abby's excitement, but quickly shook his head at Tony's comment. "Thanks Tony...I think?" He smiled at Johanna when she smiled at him. However, the face of nervousness hit him when he heard Gibbs' firm comment. He just nodded, looking at him. 'Yes Boss."

Johanna smiled at Ellie. "Around a month and a half. Not that far. But far enough to feel like crap all the time." Johanna smiled softly. "We can. And we have Abs, to keep us entertained too." Johanna giggled hugging Abby when she walked in joining the hug. Hearing her uncle, she looked at him warning. "You leave my poor, scared to death husband alone, Uncle Jethro. I am warning you. Don't make my hormones go crazy." Johanna warned.

"Alright. Alright." Jethro laughed softly. "I won't. Just make sure you take good care of her and my unborn grandchild. Remember McGee. I consider her like a daughter." Jethro warned the young man smiling. Seeing Leon he nodded, "Alright men, we got a case. Ladies, we'll be back soon." Jethro told the two. Walking over to Ellie he took and hugged her kissing her lips before walking towards the elevator.

Tim just nodded at Gibbs’ words. “Of course Boss.” He said as he put a nervous smile on his face. He then looked to Johanna and smiled, stepping back up beside her. “I’ll be back. Stay safe and try not to be too bored.” He kissed her softly on the lips before walking to the elevator with the rest of the team.

“Come on McDaddy...we’re going to leave you.” Tony called out to him. He looked to Gibbs. “So Boss, you’re going to be a Father and Grandfather. How does that make you feel?”

Ellie hugged Jehtro and quickly kissed him before letting him to leave for the elevator. She turned to Johanna. “I don’t understand why I have to be stuck here...” she said, a little bitter still. She started working on a file on a previous case they had finished recently.

Jethro looked at Tony, "Tony." Jethro warned. "I am thrilled about both. Can you not be annoying today?" Jethro smiled at Tony as they went to the parking garage.

Johanna frowned, "I feel the same way." Johanna walked over to her desk sitting down. She took and began working on one of the case files as she sighed putting it into a pile.

At the end of the day, the boys were heading back to NCIS. They hadn't figured much out, and had tons of questions still. However, they had some potential leads, which was always a good thing. When they got off the elevator, Tony looked to see Ellie getting up from her desk, and putting a hand on the lower part of her back. He stopped, wondering if she was okay.

"Easy kid..." She mumbled as she gently rubbed the lower part of her back. She did not like this desk duty job at all, but was going to try and relax. It was important that she did this. She moved a couple of steps, ending up in front of Gibbs desk when she stopped. She took a deep breath in then out, rubbing the lower part of her belly.

Tim had went to the Vending Machines to pick up some snacks for his darling wife. Walking back to the desks, Tim smiled and walked over to Johanna's desk. "Hi honey." He said and kissed her. He placed the different snack options in front of her. "I thought you might want a snack or two." He winked. "How has your day been?" He asked.

Jethro saw Ellie stop at his desk and rushed to her side quickly. "Ellie, what's wrong honey?" Jethro asked worried to death. He took and slid his arm around her to support her staring at her. "Honey." Jethro spoke.

Johanna gave him a small smile, "Boring." Johanna laid the other file down. "Thank you honey." Johanna smiled getting up slowly as she kissed Tim's lips. She saw Ellie and knew she was either having contractions or getting ready to go into labor. "Ellie is it time?!" Johanna asked rushing towards her best friend.

Ellie shook her head. “I’m good.” She said softly and she stood there for a moment. “I just moved to quickly.” She mumbled as she kept a hand on her belly. She looked to Johanna as she rushed towards her. “I’m good, it’s not time.” She said. There was no way it could be time, even though she was more than ready to have this baby.

Tim’s eyes widened as he watched Johanna rush over to Ellie. “Ellie are you sure?” He asked. He looked to Gibbs, seeing what he was going to say or do. This was still all a shock to him that this all happened.

Jethro looked at Ellie, "I think you need to be checked. I am not taking no for an answer either. Come on honey, I am going to take you to the hospital." Jethro told his wife.

Johanna stepped back to her husband watching them leave for the hospital. Biting her lip she hoped Ellie would be ok.

Tim rubbed Johanna’s back. “Hey she’s going to be okay.” He reassured her and kissed the side of her head. He then looked to the Tony. “Should we let Ducky, Abby, and Palmer know that Gibbs took Ellie?”

Ellie sighed. “Jethro I think it’s unnecessary.” She said as they stepped into the elevator. “I’m really fine.” She reassured him as she stood there, watching the elevator move down the floors. “Can’t we just go home?” She asked.

Jethro shook his head, "Not until we find out what's wrong." Jethro said ushering her towards the charger.

Johanna looked at Tim and nodded her head, "I think we should." Johanna said.

"Jethro." Ellie sighed. "Nothing is wrong." She said as she stopped in the middle of the Parking Garage. She did not want to go to the hospital, and if she was going to have to argue with Gibbs on this one, she would. "Tell me why we have to go." She said as she stood there, putting her hands on her hips. "I'm not in labor." She said softly, hoping he would believe her.

Tim nodded, "Would you like to go with me to tell Ducky and Palmer?" He asked as he got up from his desk. He helped her from the desk, putting a hand around her waist. "I figured we could tell them and then tell Abby."

Jethro looked at her sighing, "Just please go get checked. It'd ease my mind. Something happened, and I can tell you're not honestly telling me the truth either." Jethro looked at her. "You're still hurting." Jethro pointed a finger at her warning. "Please." Jethro begged.

Johanna nodded her head lightly, "Yes, I would like to." She told him softly. She walked with her husband as he told Palmer and Ducky. She took and lent into Tim feeling the dizzy spell hit her, as she shook it off a little.

Ellie sighed, rolling her eyes. "Fine, Jethro! Fine." She said. "I will go to the hospital..." She said annoyed as she got into the Charger.

Getting into the elevator to go down to Ducky and Palmer, Tim looked at Johanna. "You okay honey?" He asked softly.

Once they were at the hospital and Ellie had been admitted to the Maternity ward. Jethro walked into her room frowning as he sat down beside of her. "Don't be mad." Jethro looked at her softly.

Johanna looked at Tim slowly nodding her head, "I promise I am fine." Johanna told him softly hugging to him as they headed down to the garage.

Ellie had just got settled in the bed. "Oh no...not mad at all..." She mumbled, as she clearly highly annoyed. She laid on the bed, waiting for the doctor to come in. She didn't say much to the Jethro as she waited. She put a hand on her stomach, and took a small deep breath in then slowly released it.

When they got to the lower level, Tim stepped out with Johanna. Ducky smiled when he saw Johanna and Tim. "Ah, Timothy and Johanna, what pleasure do we get to have your presence here?" He asked. "I figured you guys would be going on soon for the day." He said.

Jimmy looked over, smiling at the couple. "Hey guys, is everything okay?"

Jethro frowned watching her closely. "Ellie are you hurting?" Jethro asked walking over to her staring at her.

"Uncle Jethro just rushed Ellie to the hospital. She was having pains and seemed like she might had been going into laor." Johanna told the two.

Ducky's face lit up a little when Johanna told the two of them the news. "Oh how exciting." He said with a sweet smile. "Maybe we should go see them soon." He suggested as he stood there. "How was our dear Eleanor?" He asked. "When she left here?"

Jimmy smiled, remembering when his wife went into labor with their daughter. "Yes, how is Ellie? I imagine she's in a lot more pain, than she was letting on today, especially since she is just now going to the hospital."

Ducky laughed, "And I'm sure it's against her will."

Tim laughed and nodded to Ducky's comment. "You guessed it." He chuckled. "She just wanted to go home. But seemed that Gibbs was not having that."

Ellie was laying down on the bed, breathing in then out slowly. "I'm okay. I'm not hurting. I just want to go home." She said as she rubbed the side of her rounded belly. She was still a little annoyed at Jethro for the fact that he took her to the hospital, when she felt it wasn't necessary at all.

Johanna listened to the three men speaking. Feeling the dizzy spell hit her again. She stood there quietly taking a quiet deep breath in. She took and listened carefully to them as she gave light smiles to them.

Jethro took and gave Ellie a frown sighing, "Then sign yourself out, Ellie. I was just doing what I thought was best for you." Jethro told her softly.

Tim talked with Ducky and Palmer as they came up with a plan to go see Ellie in the hospital. As they chatted, He looked over to Johanna, seeing how quiet she had gotten. He frowned, sensing something was wrong. He thought maybe she was worried about her best friend possibly going into labor. “Johanna, honey?” He put a hand on her arm. “You okay?”

Ellie shook her head, realizing that she was practically acting like a brat towards her husband - for NO reason truthfully. “No, Jethro you are absolutely fine and did the right thing.” She spoke as she got up to get dressed. The Nurse has come in, had her sign the discharge papers, as well as instructions from the doctor. She wasn’t being put on bedrest, but he did want to make sure she was taking it easy and not over doing it, especially if she was still working. When the nurse left, Ellie changed back into her clothing, then walked over towards Jethro. “I owe you a huge apologize.” She leaned in and kissed him. “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have acted like such a brat to you.”
