Office Romance

Ellie smiled, blushing a little when Gibbs kissed her hand. She was truly happy that this happened and almost felt like she was dreaming. "Jethro is this going to effect me moving in with you...especially with Johanna living with you temporarily?" She then asked.

Tim watched her, noticing that she got a little quiet. He was a little confused as to what he said that would make her go quiet. "So are you happy to be living with your Uncle Gibbs...even if it's temporarily?" He asked, seeking out a way to make small talk with Johanna.

"I am sure her place will be ready tomorrow. If not she can stay with Tony." Gibbs smiled at her. "Either way we'll be together, I promise." He assured her smiling at her.

Johanna shook her head, "I'd prefer to be on my own." She admitted to Tim. "But I have to manage till my condo is ready." She smiled lightly.

Ellie nodded and smiled. "I trust you...I'm not worried." She spoke softly as she continued to hold his hand. When the waitress came with their food, she smiled and thanked her. "So when do you want me to move in?" She asked.

Tim nodded. "No I understand. But Gibbs seems like a pretty easy person to temporarily live with." He looked over to her and smiled. "So, How long till your condo is ready?" He then asked.

"We could always begin tomorrow." He smiled at her. "I mean the case is almost solved. I am sure that Tony can handle being in charge?" Gibbs smiled at her stroking the top of her hand with his thumb.

"The guy said a few more days." She looked at him and smiled lightly hearing his phone beep as they arrived at the resturaunt. She got out and smiled letting him take his call as she greeted Abby and Tony as they waited on Tim.

She thought about it for a moment then nodded. "That could work." She smiled as she looked down at their hands. "So you and I take off tomorrow to get me moved into your house." She said, liking that idea. "To be honest,I don't have much stuff in my hotel room. Most of my things are in my storage unit." She smiled. "I could almost move in tonight if I wanted to." She laughed.

"Well that's not bad." Tim said with a smile. He parked the car and then looked to Johanna when they got out. He just smiled, really liking the idea of her being on the team...even if it was working with Abby and not just their team. He smiled to Abby and Tony when he approached them.

Tony smiled at Johanna. "There's our newest girl." He chuckled and wrapped his arm around her waist. "So why do you think Gibbs and Ellie really couldn't join us tonight...don't you think that's a little odd?"

Tim just shook his head to Tony.

Gibbs smiled at her, "Then we can do it after we eat." He smiled at her. He took and enjoyed the food and talk with Ellie.

Johanna laughed, "Tony, let it go." Johanna smiled walking with the three. She sat down beside of Tim and listened to the small talk going on around her.

After dinner, Ellie thanked Gibbs for the wonderful dinner. "It was absolutely delicious." She smiled as she got up from the table with him. Walking out to her car, Ellie held Gibbs' hand and Couldn't help but smile. When they got to her car, she looked up at him and put a hand on his cheek. "This is good." She whispered before kissing him softly on the lips.

Tony sighed, letting it go. At the end of the night, Tim looked to Johanna. "Do you want me to drive you to your Uncle's?" He asked softly as he paid for the tab. He ended up paying for his meal and Johanna's meal. It was his way to say welcome to the team.

Gibbs kissed her back putting his hand on her lower back. He pulled her close and smiled kissing her a little deeper. Smiling as they parted he looked at her. "I'll follow you to the hotel and get your things." He told her as he smiled.

Johanna smiled, "Yeah that'd be great, thank you." Johanna smiled hugging Tony and Abby. She walked with Tim to the vehicle and got inside of it. She closed her eyes tired and wore out. She smiled over at Tim, "Thank you for paying for my dinner." She told him.

Ellie couldn't help but smiled, looking up at him. "That sounds like an absolute perfect idea!" She smiled and let a hand slowly trail down his chest. "Let's get out of here." She winked before kissing his lips once. She then unlocked the car before slipping in. She then started her car and drove to the hotel where she was staying. Once they were inside, Ellie started to gather everything and loaded up her car. When she was done, she looked to Gibbs and smiled. "Let's go to your house." She smirked, not wanting to call it their home. She didn't want to rush things.

Tim smiled at her, and nodded to her. "Of course." He said with a smirk. He said his goodbyes to Tony and Abby before heading to the car with Johanna. Tim looked to her and knew she was tired. "You're worn out...on your first day. I was the same way." He smirked as he started the car. "And of course for dinner. I wanted to make sure you felt valued on the team." He smirked as he began driving towards Gibbs house.

Once they pulled up, Gibbs got out and unloaded her things into the house int he spare room. He didn't want to rush anything so he'd give her the spare room for now. He smiled at her kissing her lips lightly, "I'll let you get settled." Gibbs smiled at her before taking and going downstairs.

Johanna smiled at him, "I do, so thank you." She smiled patting his arm. She looked out the window sighing to herself as she saw her uncle's house. She took and smiled over at Tim, "Thank you so much for tonight, Tim. It was great." She smiled grabbing her bag and getting out of his vehicle headed inside. She headed to the downstairs guest room and walked inside showering and going to sleep.

Ellie smiled into their kiss before slowly pulling away. "Thanks handsome." She said with a smile as she started to unpack her things. As she unpacked the boxes, Ellie changed her clothes...going from her work clothes to a pink tank top and black yoga pants. When she put the tank top on, Ellie looked in the mirror, noticing that her outfit definitely showed her belly. She just smirked to herself. "Girl, you have to tell the team soon."

Tim smirked to himself as he watched her get out of the car and head inside. Glancing down at his phone, he looked to see if Delilah had called or text him. When he had nothing from her, Tim frowned a little to himself. He was truly hoping things would great better, but lately Tim felt like he and Delilah just weren't connecting. Driving to his house, he got there and sighed thinking about this evening.

Gibbs knocked on the door and smiled. "You all settled in?" Gibbs asked her and smiled at her. He took and leaned into the doorway watching her.

Johanna laid in the bed and decided to call Tim to see if he was alright. She knew that his girflriend was blowing him off earlier tonight.

Ellie jumped a little when she heard a knock on the door. She was having to get used to living in a house with someone. "Yeah." She said as she moved a little closer to him. "It's so weird being in a house and not a hotel room...but it's great!" She smiled as she moved up to him and kissed him once. "What would I have to do to ask you to be my bed partner tonight?" She asked.

Tim walked into the quiet empty house. He poured himself a glass of tea and then sat down on the bed. When his phone went off, he looked. Instantly he got concerned when he saw that it was Johanna. Thinking something was wrong he answered the phone. "Agent McGee?" He answered.

Gibbs chuckled lightly, "You are more than welcome to crash with me." Gibbs told her. Gibbs smiled escorting her to his room and helping her int he bed. He got int he bed with her and pulled her close. "You feeling ok, Ellie?" Gibbs asked.

"Hey, Tim." Johanna smiled to herself. "I wanted to make sure you're ok." Johanna smiled.

@ second heartbeat;

Ellie smiled a little following Gibbs to his bedroom. She kept her eyes locked on him as she laid down on the bed. It was like laying on a cloud as she felt her back sink into the bed. When Gibbs asked how she was feeling she nodded. "Yeah...why do you ask?" She asked, wondering if he was nervous that she was pregnant, and if this was just his way to make sure that she was doing good.

Tim felt a small smile dance across his face. Hearing Johanna's made him smile, but he couldn't figure out why. "Hey Johanna." He said in a very haply tone. "I'm okay. Sorry if I seemed off, I'm was just a little annoyed that Delilah couldn't join us tonight..." He said, being honest with her.

"Just making sure you were feeling ok." Gibbs smiled keeping her close. "If you get sick the bathroom is right beside of us. And don't worry. Johanna is downstairs in the other guest room." He told her smiling. He kept her close kissing her jaw, "Good night Ellie. Sleep well." He told her.

"I am sure you're girlfriend had her reasons." Johanna replied to him. "I just wanted to make sure you were ok before I decided on attempting to sleep." She let a slight laugh escape her lips. "Thanks again for a great night, Tim. Good night." She said before ending the call with him and finally going to sleep.

Ellie nodded to Gibbs and just smiled a little. She thought it was so sweet how he was genuinely concerned for her. "Thank you Jethro." She said, smiling as he looked to her. When he kissed her jaw, Ellie couldn't help but giggle a little. "Good Night Jethro." She said softly before slowly falling asleep.

Tim smiled as he was on the phone with Johanna. He thought it was truly sweet that the newest member of NCIS would call him to make sure that he was okay. "Thank you Johanna...that's so sweet of you to check on me. That truly means a lot to me." He said. "I'm glad you got to join us tonight, and I'm really glad to have you on the team. Have a good night." He said before ending the call. He then got ready for bed himself and went to sleep.

--THE NEXT MORNING--

Ellie had fought with morning sickness, on and off all night. She could never understand why they called it morning sickness, since it happened whenever. Still feeling nauseous, Ellie got up before her alarm. Glancing at her phone to turn off the alarm, Ellie sighed to herself. It was 5:30 am. "Seriously?!?" She mumbled to herself as she slowly sat up in bed. She looked over to the man sleeping next to her. She couldn't help but smile a little. Gibbs looked so peaceful and relaxed when he was sleeping, and it was such a rare thing. As she sat there, her wave of nausea got worse. "Ugh..." She said as she got up and rushed to the bathroom. When she was done, she brushed her teeth and looked at herself in the mirror, thinking about things. How could this happen to her? Jake, the man that was supposed to love her for the rest of her life, cheats on her with one of her former co-workers, and still stays with the woman, even when Ellie told him the news of her being pregnant. She closed her eyes for a moment, telling herself to let it go. That things were going to be WAY better now, especially with Gibbs. Looking back to the direction of the bed, a cute, blushing smile danced its way onto Ellie's face. Even with it being so fresh and new, Ellie felt so overwhelmed with joy as she thought about the potential that their relationship has. Seeing that her way over nausea had calmed down, Ellie rinsed her mouth with mouthwash after she brushed her teeth before heading back into the bedroom to Gibbs.

Tim woke up at the sound of his alarm going off. It always went off at 5:30 in the morning. He did this on purpose. By getting up so early, it gave him to time either focus on dabbling more into this most current writings or even to read a little. It also gave him time with Delilah, making her breakfast, and just enjoy some time before going into the office. However, he felt like there was going to be some tension when he woke that morning. When he woke up, he noticed that Delilah wasn't in bed. "Delilah?" He called out as he got out of the bed. He heard noise in the kitchen. When he walked out there, he saw Delilah making coffee. "You're up early." He said with a small smile as he walked over towards her to greet her with a morning kiss. "Tim." She started. "We need to talk." She then wheeled over to the table and Tim followed. The two of them talked for a good 45 minutes or so, then Delilah looked at the time. "Well now that's settled, I'm off today so I'll get my things taken care of." She told him. Tim just nodded. "Um...yeah...if you need anything, please let me know." He said, still in a little shock. Delilah sighed as she looked to him. "Tim, you and I both know that this is for the best." She said and simply kissed his cheek. He just nodded and then went to the bedroom to get ready for work. When he was ready, he walked out of the apartment then got into his car.

Gibbs slowly opened his eyes and looked over at Ellie. "So are you feeling any better?" Gibbs questioned her. He saw how pale she looked and remembered when his wife was pregnant. How sick she'd been. He got up and went to get her some ginger ale and crackers. He handed them to her and gave her a light smile, "Maybe this will help." Gibbs sit beside of her and smiled.

Johanna let a grumble escape her lips as she took and walked into the building with Abby. She heard Abby questioning her about her relationships and looked at her. "Let it go, Abbs." She whispered to her getting on the elevator. She sighed knowing she wouldn't. She really didn't want to go down that road. Things were never, the best for her in that department.

Ellie smiled a little as she took the ginger ale and crackers from Gibbs. "Thank you Jethro." She smiled, taking a sip of the ale. She was already starting to feel better, but the ale and crackers were definitely helping a little more. She moved a little closer to Gibbs once again, and kissed him softly on the lips. She had brushed her teeth before he bought the ginger ale and crackers, so she was okay to kiss him. "I've got to tell the team I'm pregnant...I'm showing..." She mumbled.

This had definitely been a morning for Tim, and it wasn't even 9 am yet. He couldn't help but think about the conversation that took place between him and Delilah this morning. Was this really the end of their relationship? He was just completely shocked, and then realized that it was probably for the best. When he entered into the NCIS building, Tim took the elevator to his floor and then stepped out. He walked over to his desk. Tony looked to Tim when he entered and smiled. "Good Morning McGeek." He said. "Hey..." Tim said, not really wanting to talk. "You okay?" Tony asked, concerned. "Yeah...Delilah and I are just having a rough morning." He said, leaving it at that. "Oh okay..." Tony said, dropping the subject before looking over to Gibbs' and Ellie's desk. "They're not in yet...oh wow."
