Office Romance

Gibbs looked at her and sighed nodding his head. "I know you do. But when you're ready. Don't feel pushed." Gibbs told her holding her hand and sighing a little bit.

"He was still int he bed when I left." Johanna told Tim as she saw the look his face. "Rough morning?" She questioned staring at him.

Ellie looked at him and nodded, "I know. I just don't want to wait until it seems like it too late, and the team feels like I didn't want them to be involved in this pregnancy. I mean we're family and family don't keep things for each other." She sighed softly as she kissed him softly on the lips. She then pulled back, "Lets go to work."

"He was still in bed...that's so not like him..." Tony commented. Tim looked to Johanna, "Yeah I got into a fight this morning with Delilah...but it's okay." He said as he sat down at his desk.

"Right, cause I am normally there before anyone else. So they are going to know something is up." Gibbs smiled getting up. He slipped into his suit and adjusted everything. He fixed his appearance and looked at Ellie smiling. "Soon we're going to have to tell them about us." Gibbs commented walking out of the house with her.

Johanna shrugged, "He was. I stopped by his room and he said he'd be in later if he felt better." Johanna commented towards Tony. Frowning at Tim she gently put her hand on his back, "I hope things get better, Tim." She smiled and narrowed her eyes at Tony. "Don't call him McGeek ever again, Tony. Or i'll personally kick your ass." Johanna warned seeing his eyes grow wide before he sat down and pretended to work as she grinned.

Ellie checked herself once more in the mirror, then looked to Gibbs, and just smiled. However, she became a little pale when Gibbs pointed out the fact that they were going to have the team about them soon. "Right..." She said as she walked out of the house with him. She took a small deep breath in then out. "Lets do it tonight." She said as she got into the passenger's seat of the car. "We could invite everyone over for dinner and just give them all the news then." She suggested.

Tim looked to Johanna, "Yeah...I don't know exactly. But Delilah and I aren't a thing anymore. It was a mutual decision." He stated, kind of sad but at the same time a little relieved over this decision. His eyebrows rose though when Johanna scolded Tony about calling him McGeek. A small smirk danced across Tim's face as he watched the newbie let Tony have it. He then looked back to Gibbs' desk and then Ellie's desk. He couldn't help but think it was interesting how both of them were not here yet. "Has anyone talked to Bishop?" He asked, looking from the desks to Tony and Johanna.

Driving towards the headquarters, Gibbs glanced over. "That works. Maybe I could make some stakes, and we could have everyone over at my place. I don't like the idea of them being at my place. But I can manage one night." Gibbs chuckled out smiling at Ellie as he held her hand into his own.

Johanna shook her head sitting at her desk, "Not since she left the office last night." Johanna told them and smiled. She took and pulled out the case files and began working on some that she had to finish up before her uncle arrived.

Ellie looked at him and smiled, "Well if you don't want to have everyone over at your place, we could always go to a restaurant. I was just thinking of doing something different." She said as she thought about the other possibility. "Do you think on such a late notice, Ducky will let us host a dinner at his place?" She asked, knowing that was where all of the team's dinner, holidays, etc had been in the past.

Tim didn't say anything, seeing that he had last seen Bishop the same time that Johanna had. "Well I just hope everything is okay. Maybe Gibbs knows what up..." He said, not wanting to see Gibbs get here before Ellie; clearly not knowing what was going on. Not wasting another minute, Tim started working on some pending paperwork items, figuring that he could take this time to get it done while they weren't caught up in another case.

When they arrived to NCIS Headquarters, Ellie looked to Gibbs and smiled. "Just think more about dinner tonight. If you're not really up for people at your house, I have no problem going to talk to Ducky. We could supply the food, he would just need to supply his house." She laughed lightly as she got out of the Charger, putting her black oversized sweater on. Glancing over at Gibbs as he got out of the car, Ellie just blushed a little.

Jethro smiled at her and shrugged, "I don't see no issue with it. I need to come out of my shell as Johanna says." Jethro smiled at her. "We'll do it at the house." He smiled placing his hand on her lower back. "Alright let's get this day over with so I don't have to sneak kisses or hide anything, anymore." He smiled at her going inside the building as they landed at their floor.

Johanna glanced up hearing the elevator doors open up. Seeing her uncle and Ellie both walk off at the same time she smirked to herself. She kept quiet working on the paperwork and putting it in her file sorter smirking to herself the whole time as she shook her head lightly.

Ellie couldn't help but smile at the touch of Jethro's hand on her back. It took all of her not to kiss him right there. When he made the comment about getting this day over with so that he didn't have to sneak kisses or hide anything, Ellie couldn't help but laugh. "I like the sound of that." She giggled before slipping up to quickly kiss Jethro before the elevator door opened. When the doors opened to their floor, Ellie stepped out with a sweet smile on her face.

When Tim heard the elevator door open, he looked to see Gibbs and Ellie step out. Curiosity struck Tim, but he didn't dare say a word. He looked to the other team mates seeing if everyone else acknowledged the fact that their boss and coworker just stepped off the elevator at the same time. He went back to look at his computer, trying to act like he was keeping busy. "Good Morning Boss...Ellie." He said with a small smile.

Ellie smiled to Tim, "Morning." She put her things on her desk, then took a minute before sitting down. She glanced over to Tony and then Johanna, then turned on her computer. She allowed her eyes to trail over to Gibbs, watching him from behind as he settled. She bite her bottom lip as she watched him, getting a little lost in her little world.

Gibbs nodded his head, "Morning." He mumbled sitting at his desk. Before getting to comfortable he saw Leon motion him. Getting to his feet he took and walked up the steps and into Leon's office. Hearing him talking about a case he couldn't help but to let his mind roam to Ellie and the night they'd shared. He couldn't wait for more moments like that as well.

Johanna noticed Ellie lost in her own world and smiled. She kept quiet and kept busy finishing up her last bit of paper work. She smiled at the team before going to talk to Abby in the lab.

When Ellie saw Gibbs leave his desk to go the Director, her eyes couldn't help but follow him. Instant curiosity struck her mind as she wondered what was going on, knowing that it was more than likely another case for them to pick up on. Normally, Ellie didn't care if they had a case and was usually thrilled about it. But today was a little different considering the news she had to give the team.

As Gibbs got up to go chat with Director Vance, Tim just watched the two. He still kept quiet, going back to what little bit of paperwork that remained unfinished on his desk. When he saw Johanna get up and head into the direction towards Abby's office, he just smirked to himself. He knew that Johanna and Abby were good friends, so Johanna probably knew more that was going on then was being shown by the naked eye. Once Johanna was gone, Tim just glanced over to Ellie before looking back to Tony.

After finshing with Leon, Jethro left the office. "Alright gear up. We have a case you guys." He told his team not seeing Johanna. "Where's my niece?" He questioned.

"Downstairs with Abby." Tony replied grabbing his stuff.

"She can stay with Ellie. Come on." Gibbs said to them.

Johanna laughed with Abby as she took and heard someone coming into the lab. She glanced over seeing Ellie making her way in. Smiling at the other woman Johanna took and smirked. "So tell me, Ellie. What is going on between you and my uncle? I know you were there last night. So don't play stupid with me?" Johanna smiled. "Cause if you two are together, I have to know." She smiled brightly.

After finshing with Leon, Jethro left the office. "Alright gear up. We have a case you guys." He told his team not seeing Johanna. "Where's my niece?" He questioned.

"Downstairs with Abby." Tony replied grabbing his stuff.

"She can stay with Ellie. Come on." Gibbs said to them.

Johanna laughed with Abby as she took and heard someone coming into the lab. She glanced over seeing Ellie making her way in. Smiling at the other woman Johanna took and smirked. "So tell me, Ellie. What is going on between you and my uncle? I know you were there last night. So don't play stupid with me?" Johanna smiled. "Cause if you two are together, I have to know." She smiled brightly.

Tim grabbed his bag the minute Gibbs said to grab their gear. After he was a little curious when her heard Gibbs say that Johanna could stay with Ellie. He couldn’t understand why he was having Ellie stay back.

When they got in the car, Tim looked to Tony, thinking maybe he’ll say something to Gibbs. It was really bothering him why Ellie was staying back, and he was buying this she is in trouble deal.

Tony cleared his throat looking from Tim to Gibbs. “Boss are you ever going to tell us why Ellie is staying back?” He asked.

Ellie blinked a couple of times when she practically got cornered by Johanna. “Your Uncle was just consoling me...” She said, speaking semi-truth. She then looked to Johanna, knowing she wasn’t buying it. She wanted to say more but really wanted to wait till tonight.

"Nothing for me to tell, McGee." Gibbs replied back quickly. He wasn't going to tell them anything more than they needed to know. That would be coming tonight.

Johanna nodded her head, "Ok." Johanna left it alone and smiled. "So are they gone on a case?" Johanna smiled at Ellie typing on Abby's computer on some of the evidence she was logging.

Tim just nodded and hen reminded quite the rest of the drive. He felt like there was definitely more to this, but he wasn’t going to push it. “So what’s today case on, Boss?”

“Yeah, Jethro told me that they were going and you could stay behind with me.” Ellie said without thinking when she called Gibbs by his first name. She went back to working, doing the paperwork that was on her desk.

"Petty officer went missing, and now turned up dead." Gibbs told Tim and sighed. Gibbs took and began looking around the crime scene and wondered what was going on, and what they'd wind up finding.

Johanna smirked to herself and shook her head looking at Abby. Something was going on between the two, and she couldn't find it to say anything more. Smiling she took and finished logging the evidence for Abby.

It was like any other crime scene investigation that they went to. At the end of the day, the had a few answers, yet some questions lingered. Tim was already feeling like it was going to be a long night and was just waiting for Gibbs to tell them that they would be working late. However, he was a little surprised when Gibbs told them a little after 3 pm, that they would be leaving at 5 pm today, that whatever they don't get to figure out what the case today was okay -- they had tomorrow. However, that wasn't the only thing that shocked him, it was the fact that Gibbs invited everyone to His Place for Dinner.

Ellie had went home a little earlier before everyone. She had decided that she wanted to make sure the house was perfect for tonight. When she got to the house, she didn't think there was much to do. However, she just wanted to make sure it was homey enough for everyone. She also went grocery shopping, getting the steaks and such that they would need for tonight's Family Team Dinner. Looking at the clock, Ellie smiled seeing it was a little after 5:30 pm, which meant Jethro was going to be home soon. While waiting for Gibbs, she had decided to go take a shower.

Gibbs walked downstairs after showering and getting dressed. He took the steaks and marinated them and placed them on the grill. He took and waited on them as he smiled towards Ellie inside of the house. He truly did love her and he couldn't wait to be with her the rest of his life.

Johanna walked into her uncle's home wore out. She stopped as she looked at her uncle and Ellie. "Um." Johanna told Ellie and smiled. She headed upstairs to get some different clothes on as she took and sighed a little bit.

Ellie smiled as she got dressed, slipping on a maroon colored dress that allowed her bump to be free, but at the same time hid her growing bump. Once she was dressed, she quickly applied a natural look of make up on before fixing her hair nice. Once she was done, she had followed Gibbs down into the kitchen. She couldn't help but smile as she watched him start on the grill. When Johanna walked in the room, Ellie turned slightly red.

Tim got ready for the dinner at Gibbs' house. He was still completely shocked that the boss had invited them to dinner. Putting on a nice shirt and pants, Tim dressed casual yet dressed well. Once he was set, he looked at the clock, seeing it was time to start heading to Gibbs' house. He didn't want to be the first one there, but didn't want to be late either. When he arrived, he smirked checking himself in the mirror of the car before getting out. He looked to see Tony was here and had just got out of his car. "Hey." He said with a smirk. Tony nodded to his coworker. "I'm still shocked that the boss invited us here." Tony commented and Tim couldn't do anything but agree.

They then walked to the door, ringing the door.
