Zack looked down at his food, his clutched fist pressed tightly to his mouth, his elbow resting on the table. He couldn't eat, but at the same time, he wanted to get out of this horrible mood, since he knew they were still getting alone time tonight. He pushed his food away, before standing and grabbing the plate to dump the unwanted food in the trash. He slid the plate in the sink before looking up at Olivia. "I'm going to go take a shower." He walked over to her to hold her waist and give her a quick kiss on the cheek.
He belted up the stairs in long strides, taking them three at a time to get up them as quickly as possible. Zack wanted nothing more than the hot water pouring over his body, relieving this stress off of him. Embarking down the hallway, he peered into Shayna's room. She was talking to herself, or maybe to Socks, as she packed a bag full of clothes, giggling at how excited she was to be getting to spend the night at Brians. "Socks, now I have to pack you! But I doubt you'll fit in my bag...." Shayna squealed and Zack just shook his head, feeling a smile fight to gain territory on his face. He loved that Shayna had such an easy childhood, like a childhood should be. Carefree, stress free, and full of fun and love. His had been the exact opposite and that was a main reason he got so angry at the thought of Ronnie weaseling his way into her life. He wanted to protect her from anything harmful and ensure her childhood stayed a good one.
