Nora smiled, "Well Enzo you are showing me that not all Vampires are evil, done deal, considering I am a student and barely able to afford anything with the amount text books cost. It is ridiculous, they want students to attend college but you have to cough up a lung to afford anything." she stated shaking her head. "Oh no, I am finding it quite amusing. Especially when you take no notice of her and her face crinkles in annoyance... does that make me a bad person for enjoying that? Am I sadistic?" she questioned jokingly. If Nora had been in the waitresses shoes she too would have been annoyed that an attractive male is paying her no attention especially since she is trying her hardest to capture it.

The waitress returned with their drinks, Nora turned to look for Bryn who was no at the bar engaged in conversation with a dark haired male that she had never seen around her before. She was relived when she saw that she was smiling and having fun. The alcohol in her hand was a little worrisome however she chose to give her the benefit of doubt and leave her be. If things got messy she could get her out of their easy. She would simply fling her over her shoulder and walk out.

She turned back to Enzo and saw the waitress was talking to him, quickly she grabbed her drink to try and stifle the giggle that wanted to escape. Nora couldn't help but watch the male. He was so very, very unnaturally attractive. It really wasn't fair on the female population, especially when he also had a accent to make hearts melt and knees go week.

As she sat there her thoughts wandered back to her father, she tried to shake her head of him. His voice resounded in her mind telling her that all vampires deserved to be killed, they weren't normal, they were evil. They had no heart. How wrong he was. She was learning that maybe not all of them were bad. That and he had never read the journals Maggie had left behind. That had been her and her mothers secret. Whenever the topic of Maggie came up everyone made sure her father was out of the room.
Damon snorted at the mention of his brother, then again perhaps the two would bond over things like art and poetry. Then again he had Caroline, there was an unspoken thing between those two. It was patently obvious that the blonde had a serious thing for his brother but she was too chicken to say anything. It took every ounce of Damon's strength not to bang their heads together in an effort to make them see how stupid they are being.

"Perhaps I will, you two can bond over art and poetry."

Yes food. he thought to himself everyone in this bar was beginning to look like a breathing blood bag, he was going to have to drink this place out of liquor if Elena didn't hurry the hell up. He turned his head and looked at Bryn. Maybe, just maybe if he got her alone and compelled her. No what was he thinking that was a terrible idea.

    Or was it.

He had been so deep in thought and he could hear her heart beating and knew that her blood was running through her veins that he had missed what she had actually done. It wasn't until she turned to look at him that he snapped out of his zone and nodded his head.

"Right..." was all he could say he finished his drink before grabbing her arm. Come with me. He hoped she wasn't on vervain or drinking vervain otherwise this was going to go horribly wrong. He pulled her outside of the bar and around to a dark corner where no one would be able to see them before he stopped moving.

Enzo shot Nora a grin as she spoke. "I wouldn't say to let your guard down completely, Nora," he warned gently, "not all of us care for human life. Not all of us have the capability to love." He paused for a moment before listening to her speak about getting a higher education but griping about the steep price for classes and books. "I agree," he said with a nod of his head, "what's the purpose of getting a high paying job with that nice degree if you're paying off debt for the rest of your life?" A wicked grin curled his lips as she spoked about the attention-seeking waitress and a low chuckle left him. "No, I don't think that makes you a terrible person," he told her. "Most women would stop after a while,” he murmured from the corner of his mouth when he noticed the waitress making her way back toward the table.

This meant he unfortunately caught her eye and that immediately meant, to her at least, that he had reciprocated some sort of interest in her and she stayed by their table after dropping off their drinks. Enzo took his with a thankful nod of his head but knew he had to say something. “Busy night, huh?” He stated before taking a sip of his drink. The waitress, who seemingly looked like she had the world to tell him, seemed to button up and merely let out a little quiver of a noise. Enzo shot her a wink, just to see how she would react, and the waitress flushed and tittered to herself before quickly walking away from the table.

The vampire turned to look at Nora and let out a chuckle of his own before taking another sip of his drink. “So, what’re you studying here? I can’t imagine they offer classes about vampires,” he stated, lips curling up at one corner as he settled his dark gaze on hers.
Bryn took a sip of her whiskey, noting the slight tingle in her nose and the flush in her cheeks that came with drinking the heavy liquor. Maybe she should slow down, but the man beside her didn’t seem to have any indication that he was about to stop drinking. She grinned to herself as he snorted, knowing she was acting like the desperate college student looking for a rebound. A sigh left her as her smile began to fall, green eyes staring down into the amber liquid in her glass.

With a short hum, she downed the liquid without a wince, knowing it probably wasn’t in her best interests to get drunk again, but what else was she going to do when Damon’s girlfriend came back? Maybe she’d move on to the next guy that was alone at the bar to occupy her time. Or maybe she’d take a walk around the campus to clear her mind.

When she turned back to Damon, she noticed that he looked a little out of it and it certainly wasn’t the alcohol. And then, it was gone and he was looking at her with a gleam in his eyes that she didn’t like. She gave him a stern look as he grabbed her arm, but when he looked her in the eye and commanded her to follow him, it was like she had no other choice.

“Where are we going?” She questioned him as he lead her outside of the bar. She shivered against the sudden rush of cold wind as they stepped outside. Confusion rose in her as she noted the dark corner they were in, out of eyesight. “I thought you were waiting for your girlfriend,” she said plainly, crossing her arms over her chest in an attempt to keep warm.

Nora watched the waitress rolling her eyes before turning her attention back to the dark haired vampire before her. "Hmm you are right, not many classes, unless you take night classes with Mister Saltzman," she joked. "No I want to be a history professor. I have always been fascinated by history and it's event. Hence why I enjoy Alaric's class. That and I have to admit, he is most certainly easy on the eyes." a cheeky grin spread across her face. She wasn't lying. He was something to look at and he seemed such a nice person and he was interested in what his students wanted to do with their lives. She seemed to always stop for a conversation with him when she could.

"What about you? What brings you here?" she was genuinely interested in why the vampire had come to a place like this, perhaps it was for the girls here, or maybe it was something more sinister like revenge on what had happened to him. Either way she really wanted to know. "Why would you want to come back to a college. That would be the last place I would want to be. Why aren't you off enjoying your freedom? Travelling the world?" it was a genuine question. "Mind you I am grateful you are here because I finally met you."
"I am," he stated before turning on her and grabbing her shoulders, he looked into her eyes and prayed that what he was about to do would work, he really hoped she wasn't on vervain and that he would be able to wipe her memory of any of this.

"You're not going to scream," he moved his face closer to hers her heart beat resounded in his ears and the intoxicating smell of her blood was becoming too much to bare. He felt his fangs elongate and the veins around his eyes form. Cupping the side of her neck, "Everything will be fine," he said reassuring both her and him before he sank his fangs into her neck feeling her blood spill onto her tongue. He drank from her until he felt the cravings die down a little. Pulling away he looked at her his hand covering her bleeding wound.

Enzo kept his dark gaze on Nora as she spoke, lips pulling up slightly at the corners. "Night classes?" He questioned with a raised brow. "Is there some sort of double entendre I'm missing there with the night classes and an attractive professor?" He continued with a continuously widening crooked grin as he spoke. "I'm surprised they have a class about fictional things at all. Isn't the point of college to prepare for the real world?" He mused playfully, knowing there was quite alot out there that was not supposed to be real but was. "Is there any part of history you prefer more than others? I know I'm quite fond of the Renaissance. Shame I couldn't have been alive for it, really," he told her.

The vampire licked his lips as Nora questioned his reasoning for coming to the college. "I was just heading through Virginia, saw the college, and realized I was a bit...peckish," she told her with a predatory leer in his eyes. "But don't worry, I didn't kill anyone. That's not a requirement for our kind to survive." He took a sip of his drink, humming softly as he leaned forward onto the table. "Well, I suppose college is great if you don't have to do the work: the socializing, parties, bars like this, and beautiful young woman literally running into you for a chat." He shot her a quick and sly wink to punctuate his statement.
Bryn jumped slightly as Damon grabbed her shoulders, body beginning to shiver. Whether it was from the cold or fear, Bryn didn't know. She knew there was something going on here and it could end up with her dead. That would be the cherry on top of her week from Hell. She got lost in those eyes of his when he forced her to look at him, unable to tear her eyes away and only able to repeat his commands.

"I'm not going to scream," she said softly, the panic that was welling in her disappating. Her eyes widened slightly when she took note of his face and eyes changing and the fangs that now protruded from his top row of teeth. She'd see this in one of Nora's textbooks she'd read when she was bored, but...vampires weren't real, were they? "Everything will be fine," she repeated mindlessly as he lowered his mouth to her neck. A soft noise left her as she felt his teeth pierce her skin, but it wasn't exactly painful and it only lasted a second. The sting was replaced by an odd sort of feeling as he drew blood through the bite wounds. Her eyes fluttered shut and another noise left her, this one somewhere between a whimper and a moan as her hands reached out to grasp at the sides of his jacket.

When he pulled away, she looked up at him in a daze of blood loss and a swirl of new, unlabeled emotions. Her knees almost gave way but she steadied herself as she asked and leaned slightly into his hand for support, unknowing of why she enjoyed what he'd just done so much. Instead, she focused her hazy, green eyes on his and asked, in a low, rough voice, "Why'd you stop?"

"Well there are only select few allowed in the night classes," she teased her tone dropping to a seductive tone. shooting a wink in his direction. "Fictional, I wouldn't say vampires were fictional considering I am sitting right next to one... and I have come across a few were-wolves in my life as well as witches. So I think it is rather helpful, considering you never know what might happen when you run into one of the supernatural kinds." she stated shooting him a knowing look before laughter fell from her lips. "But no Mister Saltzman doesn't teach anything about the supernatural I actually learned most of it from my family." she said truthfully deciding not to drop that she was a hunter.

When Enzo mentioned that he had been hungry she had to stop herself from saying something instead she smiled. She felt a little better when he said he hadn't killed anyone.

"Well that is nice to know," she commented when he said that his kind didn't have to kill. She rolled her eyes at the male, of course college was great when you didn't have to do any of the work and could spend the day drinking and partying the night away. She felt her cheeks flush when he made a reference to their meeting this morning. "Well yes, that would make college rather enjoyable wouldn't it?" she asked leaning forward a little in her seat. Resting her head on her hand. Her hair fell off her neck and shoulders and she took little notice to the fact that she had just exposed her neck to a vampire, had her father been there he would have scolded her. However he wasn't here and she was free to do what she wanted. Plus she felt comfortable around Enzo. Lifting her other hand she waved over the waitress again ordering another round for the two of them.
Damon felt her hands grasp the side of her jacket but the noise she made caught him slightly off guard. However when he pulled back it was the question that came from her lips that confused him even more.

"As much as I would like to continue I don't actually want to kill you, you are one of the few people around here that I enjoy conversing with. Come on I need to get you bandaged up," he stated before walking out from behind the building and heading toward the dorms. Surely there would be a first aid kit somewhere, he hoped she had one in her room. "Right which one is your dorm? I need to get you cleaned up before taking you back to your friend. Don't want her knowing what I have done." he stated waiting patiently for her to answer his question, Grabbing her hand he pressed it against her wound before hiding his blood stained one behind his back.

Enzo was a bit surprised by the reply he got from Nora in regards to night classes and he was sure it flashed across his features before they settled into his signature smirk. "Well...if I had a night class to preside over, you'd be at the top of my list for attending students," he told her, chuckling to himself as he took another sip of his drink. "True, but most of us don't know the supernatural exists until or unless we are one," he told her with a knowing look of his own. "But I agree...if you actually know there are things like werewolves, witches, and vampires, the best way to be prepared is to know all you can about them," he added, reaching out and holding his glass in hand for a moment before lifting it to his lips and downing the rest of it. He lifted a brow at the mention of her family teaching her most of what she knew and he nodded slowly. "I got the feeling from Maggie that her family had roots in knowing of vampires and the supernatural for while. It was like she'd grown up knowing we existed."

He set his glass aside and folded his hands on the table, grinning broadly over at her as she spoke. "And not all...donors dislike it either. Some, a rare few, actually seek us out," he told her honestly, choosing his words carefully as a group of people stepped past the table. A victorious smile curled his lips at the sight of her flushed cheeks; something he could see even in the dim lighting of the bar. "Isn't that why you're here though? College may be tough work, but letting off steam like this is half the fun," he said with another one of those charming grins of his. His eyes slipped down to the slender expanse of neck she knowingly or unknowingly exposed to him. While the thought of feeding from a beautiful, young woman like Nora greatly appealed to him, she was a family member of Maggie's and he would feel such guilt for causing her or her family any more pain.

"Tell me a little more about yourself," he said, changing the direction of their conversation. "If you had any questions about history, I was alive for some of it...though caged up for most of it," he told her with a certain amount of jest in his tone." He glanced over to the waitress as she had taken back up staring him down from across the bar. A soft laugh left him before he returned his gaze to Nora. "Any particular colleges you'd like to teach at when you're done with college?"
Bryn's brow furrowed slightly as he spoke, nodding numbly as his words sunk in. Of course, if he kept dragging blood from her neck like he had, she'd be dead in a few minutes. But still...was she supposed to like it that much? Did victims of vampires normally have that sort of reaction? It didn't hurt all that much after the first bite, which hadn't really hurt at all. Actually, Bryn found the sensation of being fed from sort of nice, like jumping into an ice cold lake on a hot summer's day. And it didn't seem like he had killing her in mind, which was what Nora's textbook normally said happened. "Yeah, my building's the second one on the right, staircase to the left, top floor, and forth room on the left," she told him, still rather dazed. She began to lead him to her dorm room, keeping her hand clamped tightly around her neck as she briskly led him out of open sight.

Once she got to her dorm room, it was clear which side of the room was hers. Her half of the room was covered with scraps of paper she'd drawn on, painted on, and doodled on. Some where better than others, some more intricately detailed, some just wide swaths of color and shapes, but a few looked worthy of framing. Beside her bed, on the nightstand, were a few framed pictures of her and her ex-boyfriend that she hadn't had the heart to part with just yet. Bryn was feeling sleepy, probably a combination of the whiskey and blood loss, and she shuffled over to the bed and plopped heavily onto it without even bothering to turn the light on. "Is this real?" She asked in a tired voice. "Are vampires real?" Her eyes lifted from the floor to lock onto Damon. Her face wrinkled slightly in confusion as she pulled her hand away from her neck to find it covered in blood. "You didn't...you didn't put anything in my drink...did you?" She questioned in a hoarse voice, a slight pout on her features as she looked away. "There's a...a kit under my bed. It's got gauze and bandages and...shit, I'm tired," she murmured breathlessly, collapsing back onto her bed and staring up at the ceiling.

Nora sat up a little more at the mention that some people sought out vampires just so they would feed on them. She had several questions about that but she chose to keep them to herself. Perhaps later she could ask those questions but at the moment she was trying to think of other schools she would like to teach at.

"Well... Stanford would be a top pick but to be honest anywhere to begin with, just to kinda get a feel for it, I know every school is different but... Standford would be first preference, however I still have a few years to go before I can do any of that... you never know I might end up back here relieving Alaric." she stated with a shrug when the waitress placed down their drinks she spoke up.

"Hey can I get a serving of Nachos please?" she turned her attention to Enzo, "Do you want anything? If I keep drinking on an empty stomach I am going to get hammered," that was the last thing she wanted to do as she had class early tomorrow morning, so maybe one more round and then call it quits for the night. "So tell me? What do you plan on doing next? Where are you heading? Anywhere is particular?" Nora was genuinely interested to know if the dark haired vampire had anywhere in particular he wanted to go.

"Hey... uhmm... Did you come in with a blonde haired girl?" the waitress spoke up. Nora nodded her head before looking around. Her heart began to race she wasn't there, she wasn't at the bar.

"Fuck!" Nora cursed before getting to her feet, she threw a few notes onto the table. "I'm so sorry Enzo but I have to... uh... I will see you around..." with that she hurried out of the bar. Racing toward her shared dorm hoping she was there.
Damon walked up the stairs following after the blonde before they entered her room, she plopped down on her bed and he quickly began searching for bandages. Finding them he walked back to her he heard her last word before watching her fall backwards onto her bed, he was over to her in an instant.

"Bryn... Hey..." he kept his tone quiet as he checked over her, he saw that she was still breathing. Biting into his wrist he pressed his skin to her lips allowing a few drops of blood to fall onto her tongue. This would ensure that she would wake up. He walked into the kitchen finding a cloth and wiping away the excess blood on her lips and cleaning up the wound before covering it up. A smile formed on his face as he tucked several strands of blonde hair behind her ear. Taking her shoes off he lifted her changing her position so her head was on her pillow and covering her with a blanket. He heard someone coming in the corridor quickly he raced out the window just as the door opened.

Enzo knew that Nora hadn’t been obligated to have drinks with him all evening, but her quick departure after the waitress mentioned the absence of her blonde friend from the bar left him baffled. Perhaps she was watching over her for some reason. No matter, he’d be able to find her somewhere around campus sooner rather than later. Before he’d left the bar that night, he’d snagged a snack by way of the waitress that had been so keen on him. He’d compelled her to forget it had even happened though, so there was no chance of anyone finding out about it.

He sat on one of the benches around a couple of the major building on campus; woolen coat wrapped around him and scarf bundled around his neck. Though he didn’t need to, the day was frigid and it didn’t seem like it was going to get much warmer that day. He had a cup of steaming coffee in his hand and his dark gaze was combing the students rushing around to get to and from their classes. He was around the same spot that Nora had run into him the previous day, so maybe he’d be able to catch her just walking around or on her way to one of her classes.

There was certainly something about her that reminded him of her great aunt. It was more than just resemblance. She seemed very understanding and very kindhearted, which was more than he could ask of anyone who knew about the presence of vampires and wasn’t one themselves. He nodded to a few girls that walk past him, crooked grin on his lips before he brought the coffee to his mouth and took a sip.
Bryn was tucked away in a quiet part of the library, a few art books opened up and scattered around the table in front of her. Nora bust into the room last night after Damon left, though she wasn’t quite sure when that had happened. She thought she’d been sleeping soundly for a while, but at the same time, it only seemed like a couple of seconds. In fact, last night seemed like more of a blur than the last time she got trashed.

She thought she met a man named Damon at the bar and that they’d had a great time until he pulled her into a dark alley behind the bar and bit her. Well, that wasn’t all that bad. She thought she remembered liking it. Then she remembered leading him to her dorm and from that point she couldn’t really place anything that had happened.

Needless say, she hadn’t gotten much sleep once Nora woke her up, her mind reeling with the possibility that vampires were real and she’d been made a meal of by one. What could potentially be even worse was that she had even enjoyed it a bit. She was still wearing her glasses as she stared down at the book in front of her, chewing nervously on her thumbnail as she tried her best to keep her mind off of what had happened in the last twenty four hours.

Nora had just finished her work out at the on campus gym and was making her way back to her dorm to shower and freshen up when she spied a dark haired male sitting on one of the school benches. He was rugged up scarf and all, she couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. Cutting across the grass she walked over to him sitting down next to him, the coldness of the bench seeping though the material of her joggers.

"Hello," she greeted smiling widely at him watching as he sipped his coffee. It was a rather drastic difference in attire between the two, he had layers of clothes on while she only had a shirt and joggers, however the coldness was quickly hitting her causing goosebumps to form across her skin. "Waiting on someone important?" she asked turning to watch students flow from the main building out onto the campus. She knew she should explain why she had run away last night, but not here otherwise she would freeze. She tucked her iPod into her pocket and sat even though she could feel herself begin to shiver, she had been the idiot that had forgotten to grab a jumper before she left for the gym this morning.
It was a new day and Damon had spent the night in a motel, he hadn't bothered to head home. Plus he wanted to find Bryn and talk to her, and see if she remembered anything about last night. He had missed Elena as she had spent the night in her dorm sleeping. He felt bad for not making an effort but after everything that happened he just couldn't face her. He had to try and figure out what was going on.

Rolling out of bed he pulled on his clothes ran his fingers through his hair and walked out of the room pushing his phone into his pocket as he made his way to the nearest cafe for two coffees, one for Elena and one for him. He was hoping to be able to find Bryn before the day is out, considering it was still reasonably early he thought it best to pop in and see his girlfriend before heading out and hunting for another female.

Enzo lifted his coffee to his lips as he watched the students make their way to their classes or exams for the day. He swallowed the near scalding liquid, feeling it warm himself up from the inside out. With his hypersensitive hearing, he noted someone running toward him and he turned his head to give them a look. A smile spread across his features as he watched Nora jog toward him and take a seat beside him. His eyes glanced over her appearance, taking note of the slogan on her shirt with a chuckle. He couldn’t help but to think that he found her the most attractive like this, in such relaxed clothing and fresh from the jog across the grass to him. He could hear her pulse raised slightly, the sound of it a loud, resonating drum in his ears.

“I supposed I was waiting for ’a cutie with a booty’,” he responded with one of those charming grins of his as he shot a poignant look to her shirt before lifting his dark eyes to her once more. He noted her exposed arms and realized that she didn’t have a jacket with her. He stood quickly and shrugged out of his jacket without a word, draping it over her shoulders and pulling it snug around her frame before he sat down once more. “I’m sorry that I haven’t warmed it up much but…it’s at least got to be better than braving the elements, you silly girl,” he jested playfully. He took a sip of his coffee before shooting her a look. “If you don’t mind me asking, where’d you head off in such a rush last night?” He questioned, brows raising expectantly. “Now, I know I’m scary—big bad vampire, et cetera, et cetera…but I haven’t given you any reason to just rush off, right?”
Bryn found herself jumping at every little noise, expecting it to be Damon creeping around the corner of the bookcase behind her to further bend her perception of reality and imagination. She had questions and she didn’t know if she’d ever see him again to get her answers. She was paranoid, slowly losing her grip, and it was slowly beginning to smother her. With a huff of a sigh, she grabbed her bag from the table and hurried out of the library without putting the books she was looking at back.

The girl nearly sprinted through the campus to get back to her dorm, needing to close herself off in a room and try to block out all the noise, both around her and in her mind. As she reached her room, she shut the door behind her, slinging her bag from her shoulder and tossing it to the side. She fell back against the door, tears slipping down her cheeks as she wondered what she’d done so wrong to have the course she’d planned out shift so suddenly. Nothing was making sense, not after she slacked in her classes, not after her boyfriend cheated on her, and especially not after the previous night. Her eyes connected with the framed pictures of her and her boyfriend on the nightstand and she grit her teeth hard. With long strides, she marched over to the nightstand and knocked one behind it before grabbing the other and smashing it against the side of the table. The glass shattered in her hand, a shard slicing open her palm, as she tossed the photo to the side and sat on the edge of the bed. She stared blankly down at the floor, clenching her bleeding hand into a fist as silent tears crept down her cheeks.

"Well it seems you found her, or should I say she found you?" she said shooting the male a dazzling smile. She was slightly startled when the male shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it around her, she took note that he wore a long sleeved skivvy underneath. She rolled her eyes playfully. "Well I didn't think I would be running into a tall mysterious vampire and definitely didn't think I would be stopping to have a conversation with him." when he asked about last night she decided to tell him the truth feeling that she could trust him.

"Last night I came in with a friend, a friend that has just gone through a horrific break-up. She caught her boyfriend having sex with her best friend... so alcohol has been her friend this past week... I was a bit worried that when she left the bar last night she may have gotten herself into a bit of trouble... so that was the reason I ran off on you... funny thing was I found her asleep in her bed... she must have gone back to her dorm... I could only imagine how boring it would have been for her. The only reason I asked her to come was to get her out for a while and socialising. To be honest it looked like she was having a good time talking to a guy at the bar," Nora admitted as she shrugged her shoulders, not sure what could have happened to make her take off so suddenly and not tell her. Getting to her feet she looked at the male. "Well I was just going to go back to my dorm and freshen up... I can meet you somewhere and we can talk... or if you want you are welcome back to my room." When she had got up this morning Bryn had still been there sleeping but the brunette was sure her friend would be fine with a guest. It would't be for long.
Damon had walked onto campus and was now standing outside Elena's dorm room door. He reached out his hand and knocked waiting for the brunette to open it. As he was standing there he caught sight of a flash of blonde in the corner of his eye. Turning his head he saw Bryn, she was hurrying to her room. He didn't have a chance to call out to her before the door in front of him opened and he was greeted by the smiling face of Elena.

"Good morning sleeping beauty... is Caroline in?" he asked looking over his girlfriend's shoulder and seeing that it was just the two of them.

"Good morning," she smiled before leaning forward and pressing her lips against his. He wanted to continue the kiss however she pulled away quickly and took her cup of coffee from the holder. "I haven't got long I have to be at the hospital soon." she called over her shoulder as she walked back inside the dark haired male followed her. He watched as she walked over to her bed and sat down sipping at her coffee. He noticed that she had started to get ready, she had some make up on and he could smell her perfume on her skin. "Thank you for the coffee. I needed it... I didn't get a chance to feed last night..." Damon smiled when the memory from last night flashed before his eyes. He wanted to tell her but he also wanted to keep it to himself.

"Well Miss Gilbert, you need to keep your cravings at bay so I suggest you tuck into that bar fridge over there," he stated nodding his head in the direction of the shared fridge filled with blood. Elena smiled and got to her feet before walking over and pulling the door open. She guzzled the blood down... Damon sat down on her bed and watched as she got ready for her stint at the hospital. "Alright, you have to go... you keep looking at me like that and I am going to get up to some very unsavoury things with you... Which will make me late for work..." she laughed before pressing her lips to his again and kicking him out of the dorm. "I will see you later..." with that she closed her door. Damon finished his coffee before turning and walking toward the door that Bryn had just entered. He stood in front of it for a few moments debating what to do before reaching out and knocking.

Enzo lifted a brow as Nora spoke, a cheeky little grin on his lips. “Perhaps we found each other,” he mused before a wide, genuine smile curled his lips and he let out a soft laugh. Carding a hand through his hair as he took in just how good she looked wearing his coat. “To be honest, I was waiting out here to see if I could catch you in between classes or before you started you day,” he said, eyes slipping between both of hers. “And for the record, I’m not that tall,” he added with a sly little wink. He took a long sip of his coffee, finishing it off and placing it to the side before turning his full attention back to Nora.

As she recounted the reason as to why she ran off, he slipped an arm along the back of the bench, stretching himself out slightly to take up a bit more space on it. He pulled a bit of a sympathetically pained face as she told him about her friend, the breakup her friend was going through, and her friend turning to the bottle for comfort. He grinned to himself, hearing quite a bit of Maggie in the way she spoke about caring for her friend and being concerned over how she was doing. “A man can’t be mad at the fact you seem to be a fantastic friend,” he told her softly, tapping his fingertips absently on the top of the bench, just behind her shoulder. “Who knows? The guy could have said something to set her off and she figured she wouldn’t want to interrupt us,” he said. “After all my years, one thing I will never be able to grasp is the female mind and it’s intricate inner workings.” He let out a soft laugh at himself before nodding a bit as she spoke of freshening up and her invitation to come back to her room with her.

“You sure you want to invite me to your dorm?” He questioned with a lifted brow. “Someone could end up seeing the two of us and get the wrong impression,” he added with a toothy grin.
Bryn remained on her bed, her uninjured hand creeping up to the scarf wrapped tightly around her neck. The wounds from last night had healed—which was another thing that baffled her—but she still felt like people could see them, or that they would randomly reappear and she’d be left with people asking her off questions. Or maybe it was the fact that she couldn’t bear to look at her neck without thinking of how she’d felt with a vampire clamped down on her neck. Her injured hand was throbbing and blood was slowly beginning to drip down her forearm.

Just as she stood to make her way to the bathroom to rinse out the wound and get it covered with a bandage, there was a knock at her door. Surely it wasn’t Nora, Nora didn’t need to knock as it was her room too. Tentatively, she strode over to the door and pulled it open, lifting her teary eyes up to the dark-haired man on the other side of the door. She stared at him with pursed lips, face bare of makeup and exposing her freckles in full. Her sandy-blonde hair was tousled from her run back to her room. A sniffle left her as she stared up at Damon, not saying a word and not moving an inch. She realized that her hand was still bleeding when it gave a poignant throb and she held it behind her back, hoping it would hide it from his sight. Then, as if she suddenly remembered that he’d controlled her by looking into her eyes, her eyes squeezed shut and she lowered her chin, eyes focusing on the floor between the two of them. It was so quiet in the room, she could hear the blood dripping from between her fingers and hitting the carpet behind her. She didn't know what to say to him, didn't know why he was seeking her out, so she merely held her tongue, waiting for him to talk first.

Nora couldn't help but smile when he said he had been looking for her. It was kinda cute. A hot vampire waiting for her, it wasn't often that happened and she wasn't going to push him away. "You're taller than me," she pointed out which was true he was a few inches taller then her so she hadn't been lying. Nora beamed at the compliment of her being a good friend, "Well thank you... I do try... and you are probably right..." she hoped he was right and that there wasn't anything more sinister behind what had happened last night. She knew about compulsion and the ability vampires had to manipulate the mind, to turn you into whatever they wanted then have you forget it the next day. A laugh left Nora's lips at his comment about the female mind. "Yes it is a mysterious thing the female mind, always working and astounding men in the process."

Looking at Enzo so shrugged her shoulders, "People can think what they want, we both know what we are doing... and we both know it is harmless." she stated, the female didn't have time for people and their ridiculous thoughts about what a girl and a guy got up to. It honestly was none of their business. "Come on, I really need a shower!" she laughed getting to her feet and beginning to walk toward her dorm before turning and walking backwards watching Enzo to see if he was following her.
"Hi," Damon spoke as she stood in the doorway he noticed the scarf around her neck. Even though he wound would have healed he knew that there would still be a scar. "Listen about last night... I just wanted to... Uh... can I come in? I mean it is kinda rude to leave a guest waiting outside in the corridor where people can overhear our conversation. Also you know you're bleeding right?" he asked, he could smell the blood, it was a big wound because it seemed to be a large amount of blood. A potent smell. Good thing he had drank earlier his cravings were low. He could handle the blood but he still thought it would be better if she wrapped it and had it properly dressed. "If you want I can help you get that cleaned up and wrapped." He stood outside the dorm waiting for her to let him in or tell him to go either way he was still waiting, and he really didn't want to compel her into anything not after last night.

Enzo caught sight of the smile across her features and found himself smiling despite himself. A soft chuckle left him as she pointed out the fact he was taller than her. “I’m taller than most women, yes,” he replied plainly as his eyes slipped between both of hers. He drew in a deep breath of air and nodded slowly, keeping his eyes on hers. “Well, I’m sure this friend of yours appreciates someone being there for her after what she’s been through.” His eyes slid over to watch a few students walk rather close to their bench before his eyes slipped back to Nora just in time to watch her laugh; what a beautiful sight, he thought to himself. “I’m beginning to think you women are purposefully confusing to keep us men on our toes,” he responded with a wide grin and a soft chuckle.

His lifted a brow as Nora spoke again, an amused smile playing around his lips. “I suppose you’re right. I just didn’t know if you were the kind of girl who cared what other people thought of you,” he said. “Maggie was the same way,” he added in a softer tone, his smile slipping for a moment before he forced it back on. For a moment, after she stood from the bench and started walking away, he just watched her, shaking his head slowly before standing and quickly catching up with her. “Is this friend of yours still in the dorm room?” He asked curiously.
Bryn stood stock still for a few moments, just listening to what Damon had to say. She was feeling so conflicted, knowing that it would be stupid to invite him into her room, but knew that if he wanted to get in, he simply would get in. She lifted her other hand, wiping the remnant of tears from her cheeks, before reluctantly lifting her bright green eyes to meet his impossibly blue ones. “Sure,” she said in a soft voice, reaching out to grab his wrist with her uninjured hand and dragged him into the room. She quickly closed and locked the door behind him, turning away from him in an almost hurried manner and making her way over to her bed.

“I know I’m bleeding,” she murmured, eyes focused on the floor in front of her. “I…I freaked out. Broke a picture frame.” She swallowed hard, forcing her eyes back on his bravely, but she knew she wanted to look him in the eye and say what she was about to say. “When you’re done doing whatever you want to do in regards to last night, I want you to explain to me what was real, if anything wasn’t real, and why I think I liked what happened more than I should have,” she told him in a broken, yet stern tone, features tense and uncertain. Then, she lifted her injured hand and unclenched her fist, exposing the long laceration that slashed deeply through her palm from just below her pinky to her thumb. Maybe she wanted to see if it tempted him or drove him to bite her. Maybe if she wasn’t under the influence of a couple of drinks, she may find she didn’t like as much.

Nora smiled at the mention of her great aunt, she wanted to know more about her but she wasn't sure whether Enzo would want to talk about her, perhaps she could ask. However, even though she is a hunter, there was a small part of her that was a little scared at mentioning her afraid of what might happen. Would the dark haired male fly off the handle at her and she would be forced to defend herself in the only way she knows how.

"When I got up this morning she was still sleeping but that was like four, so she might be or she might be in the library. We'll find out." Nora pointed out turning and beginning to ascend the staircase toward her dorm room. Several girls were coming out of their dorms their eyes were drawn to Enzo and she listened as they teetered between one and other before giggling. She blocked them out but turned back to look at Enzo raising her brow questionably. Finally she came to her door. Grabbing the door handle she noticed that it was locked. Which was interesting considering she heard voices coming out of there a few seconds ago.

Reaching out she knocked on the door, "Bryn, hey it's me... I forgot my key earlier..." she said there was a scrambling of sounds, "Bryn!" she spoke this time her tone was a little firmer a strange sensation was stirring in the pit of her stomach, "You realise I can break down this door..." she hoped that this got her to open it. The strangeness was still swirling around inside her and she was certain she heard a male voice. What male was in her room, it better not be her ex... no... she knew Bryn was stronger than that. There was no way he was in there, perhaps it was the guy from last night. Face palming herself a laugh left her lips. It was a bit early for sex, it was only like ten then again who was she to argue since it had been months since she had got any. She heard movement toward the door before it swung open.
Damon was kinda startled with how she had pulled him into her dorm before she closed the door locking it. Now that he stood in front of her he saw just how much blood was flowing down her arm. Damon's eyes flicked to her face before she extended her bleeding limb toward him.

"As grateful as I am... I am not hungry at the moment... perhaps I should wrap that for you. Come on..." he pulled her onto her bed before he scrounged around for a bandage, one of decent size. He found on in the first aid box as well as a bottle of disinfectant. Walking back over to her he knelt down in front of her and began to clean the wound.

"What caused you to freak out may I ask?" he wondered how she could have possibly gained such a wound from a picture frame, he pressed a cotton bud soaked in disinfectant to her skin. He knew that would have hurt before covering the wound and wrapping it. "As for answering your question... what do you remember? Because yes I drank from you however I have control of my blood lust and was able to stop, I compelled you not to scream then I assured everything would be fine. As for why you seemed to enjoy it I don't know... that was a little strange even to me, it may have been due to the compulsion but truth be told I have no idea," he answered truthfully smiling as he looked down at her now covered wound. That was when there was a knock at the door. He was quick to his feet. Was he supposed to leave again? Or did he stay?

"Uh... want me to go or?" he thought he would ask before jumping out the window.

Enzo shoved his hands into his pockets and followed behind Nora, making a mental note to remember exactly the steps they were taking in case he ever needed to find her again. With her back to him, he took the time to let his eyes wander, if only just this once. She was very fit and it was clear to him that she prized physical strength. By the second pass of his eyes, however, he felt a bit guilty looking at Nora in a way he once would have looked at Maggie. The emotion settled heavily in his stomach and he didn’t like the feeling of it one bit.

He glanced up to meet her gaze as she spoke. “You’ve been up since four? I guess I’ll have to take you to a cafe if I expect you to stay awake,” he jested with a grin. As he followed her up the stairs to what he would presume was her floor, he noticed a few other girls peeking their heads out of their own dorms. To add fuel to the fire, Enzo merely flashed them his most charming grin and shot them a sly wink. “Hello ladies,” he crooned in that crisp, British accent of his. When Nora turned to shoot him a look, he returned it with his most innocent grin—which wasn’t innocent looking in the slightest.

It was then he noted the voice of a man coming from the bedroom and his brows lifted slightly. “Seems your friend isn’t alone in there,” he commented quietly, leaning on the wall beside the door as he kept his gaze on Nora. He grinned to himself as she said she could break down the door and Enzo strained his ears to hear exactly who was in the room. It was definitely two people and he could faintly smell blood. With a furrowed brow, he let out a short hum, thankful he wasn't hungry or else he’d go full vamp-face in front of Nora and he doubt that would set their day in the right direction. He could also smell the faint tinge of antiseptic fluid, so he figured whoever in the room wasn't bleeding out. He wasn’t sure if he should let Nora know what he could smell or not; it really wasn’t his business to be mingling in. “We can always come back later, if you’re busy in there,” he called through the barrier, shooting Nora a crooked grin.
Bryn kept her eyes on Damon, mouth twisted slightly to the side as he lead her over to the bed. She let out a soft huff of air as he offered to wrap her wound for her, instead of feeding like she wanted him to. Maybe it was for the best. Maybe he wouldn’t be able to stop himself this time. She frowned sightly as he questioned her about her freak out, gaze remaining forward for a few moments before she lifted her gaze to his.

“I…I feel like I’m spiraling out of control,” she started in a soft voice. “I’ve taken my classes for granted all semester, trying to patch up a relationship that was doomed to fail. I thought…” Bryn paused for a moment, tears gathering in her eyes once more but she swallowed them back. “I thought we’d be together until we died.” She paused to wince and hiss in air through her teeth, her body tensing as he pressed what felt like pure alcohol against her skin. Her eyes slipped back up to meet his and she continued. “I’d been practically drowning myself in alcohol until last night.” She sniffled a bit, swiping her uninjured hand beneath her eyes to clear her face of tears. “I remember everything about last night until I passed out. I remember you making me stay quiet. I remember you saying that everything was going to be fine, but I don’t remember you making me actually enjoy what happened.”

Her face crumbled a bit, throat clenching up uneasily, and she looked away, shaking her head slowly. “I shouldn’t have liked it as much as I did. I know that,” she said, voice quivering softly. “But you biting me and drinking my blood last night made me forget everything that I was afraid of, everything that’s happened to me in the course of a week. It was better than any drink, better than just sleeping it off.” She jumped a bit as she heard the knock at the door and Nora’s voice not too long after that. Bryn sent a panicked look to Damon before shaking her head in reply.

She shot off the bed and immediately began to kick the ruined debris of glass and wood from the picture frame she’d shattered under her bed before making her way to the door. Unlocking it, she pulled it open just slightly, so Nora wouldn’t be able to see Damon. She knew with her windswept hair and slightly flustered appearance, she didn’t look like she hadn’t been doing anything in the room, but she just wanted to shoo Nora away. “Please don’t break the door down,” she told Nora with a pleading look. “I’m…uh…kinda...occupied,” she continued nervously, hoping the brunette didn’t catch her bluff. Her eyes darted over to the man just beside the door, jumping a bit when she realized he was there. “Did you need the room for something?” She asked, lifting a brow as her gaze swung back to Nora, now curious more than anything.

"You would be surprised how long I can last without coffee," she stated. Seeing as her body clock was so used to being awake early and spending the day awake without heaps of caffeine she would be fine. She heard Enzo greet the ladies in his rich accent and even her heart began to flutter in her ribcage.

The door opened and she was greeted by Bryn, "Occupied? What are you doing?" she asked suddenly becoming very wary, she couldn't help the way her mind instantly went to the worst case scenario. When Enzo said they could come back she shot him a look and shook her head.

"Well I was kinda hoping I could have a shower..." she stated lifting her brows at how jumpy she seemed. "Bryn what's going on? Who's in there with you?" That was when she heard movement, footsteps coming closer to the door. A masculine hand wrapped around the wood before he pulled the door opened wider. Nora was startled to see the guy from last night.

    "Hello," she greeted, "Uh... Nora..."
Damon listened to Bryn speak, he wasn't sure what to say. He was confused but he was also kinda happy for her, even though he drank from her he helped to relieve the pain she had been feeling over the past week, and even thought it was a strange circumstance. He watched as the blonde jumped and quickly hid the mess walking over to the door and pulling it open.

Damon listened to the conversation between the two friends before he walked over to the door, wrapping his hand around it and pulling it open coming face to face with Bryn's roommate and the girl he saw briefly last night.

"Hi... Damon Salvatore..." he smiled at her before his eyes lingered over to the man behind her instantly his eyes widened at who he saw. It couldn't be possible. He had burnt in the fire... how could he be here?

    "Enzo?"

Enzo could hear when Nora’s pulse got to racing and, again, he was thankful that he’d fed last night or else he would have been sent into a frenzy. The blonde who opened the door looked a little worse for wear; eyes red, hair a mess. Not to mention it was definitely her blood he was smelling in that room. A snort left him when she explained the reasoning for her not wanting to let the two of them in the room.

When she asked if they needed the room for something, he was about to jump in with some sort of embarrassing reason, only just to see what Nora’s reaction would be. Nora beat him to it and he crossed his arms over his chest. When he heard footsteps leading to the door, then a hand pulling open the door, the last person he expected to see was in that room with Nora’s friend.

His smug expression dropped suddenly at the man standing in the room, stunned by the fact they were meeting up at this college, of all places. At the sight of him, a sort of anger filled him up at the fact that not only had he left him to die in a fire(again, Enzo probably would have done the same thing), Enzo had a feeling he was the one who’d killed Maggie. If they were alone, he probably would have tried to end him right here, but he was with Maggie and her friend. If he went on a full-on, murderous rampage now, chances were one of them would get caught in the crossfire.

“Damon,” was all Enzo could say as he forced a smile to his lips. “Imagine seeing you here. Visiting anyone?” He divided his gaze between Damon and Nora’s friend. It was immediately apparent to him that there was a potential for Damon to be using her as a walking juicebox. He shot the other man a knowing look, lips barely curling up at once more.
Bryn gave Nora a sheepish sort of look when it seemed like she wasn’t buying what she was trying to say. “I…uh…” She stammered, looking a bit more panicked than before. “Well…uh, we were…” She cleared her throat, glancing over her shoulder as Damon got up and started toward the door. Here it goes, her cover was going to be blown and she was going to be caught with practically a complete stranger in her dorm.

“God damnit,” Bryn sighed as Damon pulled the door open and she ran a hand over her face and cupped it over her mouth. Her eyes slipped between Nora and Damon a few times before drawing in a deep breath of air. “This is…completely not what it may look like, Nora,” she tried to explain but noticed that Damon and the guy that Nora had brought to the dorm seemed to know each other. Her brow furrowed as she took it in, shrinking a bit when the man named ‘Enzo’ shot her a look. Something about the way he was looking at her made her feel extremely guilty; like he knew she enjoyed being fed from.

Nora wasn't sure what to say instead she kinda stood awkwardly for a few beats before speaking up. "Well perhaps the two of us could meet you two at the bar," she turned to look at Enzo, as much as she would rather not say goodbye and spend some more time alone with him she knew that she also had to talk to Bryn and ask her about what happened last night. The brunette hoped he would say yes and not leave. However it was the tall dark glass of mysteriousness that had Nora a little uneasy.

"Of course, sounds perfect," Damon said before walking out the door, that wasn't what Nora had expected, instead she smiled at the two men and walked into the room.

"Alright see you soon," with that she pushed Bryn inside the door kicking it closed with her foot and walking over to the bed and sitting down. "Okay you have some explaining to do, what happened last night? Where did you go? What was mister mysterious doing in our dorm room... and what did you do to your arm?"she spied the rather large bandage and instantly went onto high alert. "were you attacked? Are you alright?" the questions spitfired from her lips as she got to her feet and walked over to Bryn.
Once the door had closed Damon turned to Enzo looking him over, this couldn't be real. He was certain he was dead, back in the fire, he hadn't been able to get Enzo out and yet here he stood before him. Alive, well and seeming close with Bryn's roommate.

"Visiting my girlfriend actually, and you? What are you doing at college? Don't tell me... sorority girls? Always the best." he stated before he began to ascend the stairs passing several girls walking up. He shot them a dazzling smile the sound of their heart beats rising like music to his ears. "Actually I have a more pressing question. How are you even here? I thought..." he trailed off as a memory flashed across his vision of the night. There had been fire everywhere, flames were eating the curtains, the chairs, bodies anything in it's path. Damon had tired everything to get his friend out but it had been to hard. If he had stayed he would have died. So he had to turn off his humanity and leave the building.

Enzo stood off to the side of the door, hands tucked into his pockets and watching the scene before him unfurl with an expression of mild fascination. His eyes slipped to Nora as she spoke, brows lifting slightly as she mentioned meeting them at a bar later. That wasn’t exactly the plan he’d had for the day, but Nora seemed rather intent on getting him and Damon out of the room. His eyes slipped to Damon as he swept out of the room, shooting Nora a crooked grin. “See you later, ladies,” he crooned, shooting a wink to Nora before turning and falling in step beside Damon.

“Why else would I be at a college if not for the sorority girls,” he said, putting on the facade that he was not absolutely waiting to tear into Damon for killing his Maggie. His eyes flitted to the girls climbing the stairs and he shot them a wink, gaze following them before he turned back to Damon. His expression fell slightly as he thought about his answer for a moment. No use in not telling the truth, now that he was thinking about it. “One of the scientists got me out, but only kept me somewhere else for his own experiments,” he said grimly, dark gaze staring ahead as he stepped around a few more girls. “I don’t blame you for leaving me. I probably would have done the same,” he told Damon, gaze darting over to him for a moment.
Bryn helplessly watched as Damon left the room, brow furrowing slightly as Nora closed the door behind the men. A loud sigh left her as she turned and flopped face first onto her bed, remaining still for a few moments before she flipped over to look up at the ceiling of the room.

“You’re not my mom, Nora, and I’m an adult,” she groaned, clasping a hand over her eyes for a moment before she willed herself to sit up and stare at her roommate from across the room. “I just wanted to leave last night and Damon offered to walk me back to the dorm,” she said calmly. “I figured you were too wrapped up in talking to Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Handsome and I didn’t want to bother you with my issues.” She drew in a deep breath of air. “Damon was just checking up on me and making sure I was okay after I kinda unloaded on him last night,” she explained, hoping Nora wasn’t going to catch on to this lie at least. “I kinda freaked out before he got here and smashed a picture frame or two. He was helping me tend to it before you guys got here.” Her brow furrowed slightly, realizing that Nora had brought a man to room as well.

“What about you? What were you intending on doing bringing Mr.Tall-Dark-and-Handsome-Two to the dorm room?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest and staring intently up at Nora.
