@ phenomenal.
Juliette felt sick to her stomach for two reasons: one, she was nervous, she had no idea how Alex was going to react when he got to her apartment and she told him the news, and, two, put quite simply, morning sickness was a bitch. She didn't really know why they even called it morning sickness, she didn't just feel this way first thing in the morning. She had no idea what to expect, it wasn't like she'd ever been pregnant before, and she'd only just learned the cause of her sickness, and reason for feeling like absolute shit for the last couple of days, was the tiny human being growing inside of her. That thought alone was enough to get her stomach rolling, and her eyes to burn with unshed tears. She'd cried once already, but she wouldn't put it past herself not to do it again. She was so fucking screwed. Up the creek without a paddle. Done for. Toast.
She remembered enough of that night to know that this was entirely possible. They hadn't used a condom. She wasn't on the pill and Alex hadn't pulled out. So, yes, this situation she was in was entirely possible, and she remembered things clearly enough from that night to know that it was, but that didn't mean that she'd expected it to happen. In all honesty, when Alex left the next morning before she had even woken up, there was a part of her that hadn't wanted to even think about that night anymore. She acknowledged that it had happened, and she was kind of cold towards Alex for a little while afterwards, but then she kind of just wanted to move on. It wasn't like anything was going to come out of it. Alex had just broken up with Lisa. He hadn't been in the right state of mind. He'd been completely plastered. It probably hadn't meant anything to him. She was his best friend, and, no matter what she might have wanted, that's all she'd ever be. You were just a rebound. She'd thought bitterly at the time, but now, just to make matters worse, this had to happen. It didn't seem so likely that either of them could simply move on from that night anymore. Things were about to change. Drastically.
"You're so fucked, Devereux." She mumbled to herself, running a hand over her face.
As much as Jack loved being on tour, there was nothing like being home. He loved meeting fans and playing music and spending time with the guys, but it was never easy leaving friends and family behind for weeks and months at a time. This tour had been a short one, just a few shows around the US, and it had served as a distraction for some of them, mostly Alex who still was pretty bummed after breaking up with Lisa yet again, but he was glad that he was home. He'd gone to see his parents shortly after getting back, but there were still some people he had yet to see, one of those people being a certain brunette. He had met Frankie a couple of years back at a local strip joint when that still happened to be her occupation, and they had been friends ever since. Well, friends who hooked up from time to time anyway.
Hey loser, am I seeing you any time soon? He sent the text, adding a few emojis at the end as well. He didn't have any plans for the afternoon. Rian was busy with Cassadee, Zack was back in California and Alex had received a pretty urgent text from Juliette so he was on his own for now. Unless, of course, he got to see his favorite brunette. Being the little shit that he was quite frequently, he only waited a minute or so before sending another message. Fraaaannnnnkkkkiiiiieeeeeee Not long after he sent another one, and then another one, proceeding to successfully blow up her phone. Aaannnnsssweeeerrr meeeee I miss your face
