Belle was sitting in the library trying to get her school work done but she kept getting distracted by the constant talk of a party that night. The young woman kept her eyes on her book but tuned into everything around her, zoning in on the conversation between two males. They were talking about a party that was being held at the Whitmore House. She knew she had to go there, there was something about this place that set off a vibe of the supernatural, even if nothing happened she knew she had to get out of her dorm and enjoy her college life and that meant going to parties and having a wild time... of course not that wild though, if her parents found out she was having more fun then studying and staying alert she would be given a firm word.
Closing her book she got to her feet and walked over to the males knowing she had to find out more about this party and how to get in. She put her flirting to the test when she walked up and began to speak to them.
"Hello there..." she used a seductive tone which she knew would capture their attention, "So the party tonight at Whitmore house... what time does it start? I am such a ditz I forgot to ask my friend the other day and now I can't get hold of her."
"Oh... hey..." one of the males spoke, he was tall with dark unruly hair and a dazzling smile. "Right, yeah the party starts at seven..." Belle giggled and thanked them telling them she hoped to see them there before walking out of the library making sure to have the right amount of sway in her hips.
Damon was sitting in The Grill enjoying a drink when he heard the door open, turning his head he saw a young woman walk in, a newbie to town. He eyed her as she walked around the bar. He soon lost interest and turned his attention back to his drink. Elena was off at college and he was here, alone and bored out of his mind. He wanted something to do to keep him interested.
"Hey Mattie my friend," he began leaning over the bar capturing the attention of the blonde haired male. "Bet you ten dollars I can get new girls number in less then fifteen minutes."
Matt scoffed shaking his head as he continued to wipe down the bench, "You'll just compel her."
"I won't... I promise, scouts honour," Matt's blue eyes darted from him to the female before he nodded his head.
"Alright ten dollars..." Damon knew this would be a piece of cake. Finishing his drink he got to his feet and walked over to her. "Why hello there, welcome to Mystic Falls... how can I be of assistance, you look a little lost," he stated flashing her one of his best crooked smiles.
