Nights of Fascination

  • Addie smiled gently. 'Don't worry about me Riki. I am pretty sure Jace does enough of that for all of us." She giggled and shook her head. "You know Rikki it is really good to hear you falling for someone. I hope that the both of you find happiness with whatever you do and he better treat you right." she said feeling protective over her friend. Addie smiled gently and smiled as they finished their coffee. Rikki dropped Addie off at home after they talked for most the day. Addie sighed as she got home and sat down on her couch. She looked at the dress and shook her head. She knew it was expensive. She had an eye for things but Jace Evans wanted something and he had a habit of getting what he wanted one way or another but it seemed so did she. She anted to know him to spend time with him and here they where doing exactly that. Addie smiled as she lay back on the couch and reached over picking up her laptop and searching through art not just because she needed to do some work but because she enjoyed it and it also reminded her of the amazing man that was surprising her tomorrow.

In the morning Addie was dressed and ready to go by the time Jace had told her to be ready. She was nervous and excited and hoping that no matter what happened by the end of the day that she could at least surprise Jace with how she was taking whatever news he believed so bad he couldn't tell her without making a fuse and expecting her to run from him.

  • "Okay." Rikki said in agreement, knowing that Addie was smart enough to not put herself in danger. It was hard not to worry, but a girl had to have her freedom too. "Aweee. This is why I love you." Rikki smiles. "Me too. He treats me like a god damn princess. I want you to meet him soon." she says, clearly gushing again. After they finished their coffee and were all caught up with their lives, they walked back out of the park towards Rikki's car. She dropped Addie off at home, and hooted as she walked out. "Damn girl! That dress looks ridiculously good on you." She says, waving and laughing as they both went their separate ways.

Jace had stirred throughout the night, and despite having a restless night he woke up and showered feeling instantly fresher. He really had to go see his psychologist on his sleeping routine again, but he never had time to go schedule an appointment. Skipping out on his hair gel and suit picking routine, he opted for a more casual look as he had not planned to go into work today. Running his hand through his hair as it was perfectly imperfect, he left the massively beautiful bathroom and went to the main floor. Adora was busy dusting his impeccably clean home, and he gave her a sharp but fond look as he left through the door, Adora smiling after him. It was clear she did not see him out of a suit very often, and was pleased to see he was just being a normal adult for once and not the youngest CEO to ever have a multi billion industry. Jace grabbed the keys to one of his favorite black Mercedes that he drove most often. He closed the door behind him, as Hank waved from the security gate and opened it. Jace sent a quick text from his vehicle to both Adaline and then his maintenance personnel. Hope you are ready. Will be there in 15. -J

Addie smiled as she got a text from Jace. She grinned and finished strapping her sandals smiling down at her freshly painted toes she had finished last night. Addie grinned grabbing a few things and then slipping out of her house locking up the alarm set. She was so nervous and excited that her heart was hammering so hard in her chest. She didn't care if she should make him come to her door and wait for her. She thought that was silly when it was so nice outside anyways. Addie liked to watch the people in the bakery and she liked the smell of it. It was comforting. Besides she was to excited to hold still. She finally was getting some answers. Addie smiled as she saw Jace pull up, or at least she assumed it was him in his fancy car. She chuckled as she walked over to the car and he rolled down the window. "Mr. Evans." her eyes swam with delight and challenge. Addie slipped into his car and buckled up. "It's a beautiful morning." she said softly and smiled at him.

  • Jace pulled up to the same disapproving apartment, and he imaged her in the cramped kitchen with a micro fridge wondering how she kept enough food to feed her. His eyes turned up as he seen her come out, and his lips twinge in tastefulness at the very small peek of her midriff when she walked towards him. "Ms. Laurent." He greets, getting out to open the door for her and help her in. He takes her hand as she steps inside, and closes the door before going back around. "You look lovely." he says, taking her hand and pressing it against his lips lightly giving her a tease. He looked up at her with his blazing eyes, and when she instantly starts to blush he sets her hand down gently onto her lap. "Yes, it is." He says in agreement. "How was your day?" He asks, shifting his car in drive as he pulls out not giving an indication on a destination. He goes away from the city, and towards the outskirts of Portland near a main bay. Though a pretty hefty drive, it isn't long until they pull up to a dock where a few people dressed similiar to Hank with black sunglasses and large bodies are preparing many boats from a yacht to a sailboat. "See that big white trawler boat over there?" He says, pointing to a much less extravagent boat compared to the houseboats and the yachts. "That beauty is Lucy. I'll take you for a drive, since you chose sea." he explains, finally letting her know what they were doing.

  • Addie shook her head as he walked to her. She had told him Addie was fine but he still insists. She chuckled and then blushed as he complemented her. "Thank you." she said trying to accept his compliment without having to explain herself. His lips pressed to her hand and she blushed again feeling her stomach flip and tighten. She smiled relaxing as he asked how her day was. "So far it has been great. And so was yesterday. I finally talked with Rikki with we really needed to do." she said and smiled softly. They drove making small talk but she really was just anticipating finding out more about him. They got to the dock and she got out with him following him. "Do you bring your security team with you everywhere?" she asked him smiling. These didn't seem like the kind of men that would be sailors. She smiled as he pointed out a boat. "What did you name her for?" she asked knowing naming a boat had great significance. She was so excited to get on a boat. She hadn't ever been out at sea like this before. She was always on the coast though enjoying the water in the summer time when she had a chance. Rikki usually talked her into some kind of bikini. Rikki talked her into a lot of cloths. This outfit included. Addie smiled as they walked down to the boat and she looked at the other boats. "These are all yours aren't they?" she asked him. Addie wondered what was special about the Lucy that had had him taking her out on this boat now.

  • "Good. I'm glad you have Rikki." He said, knowing that she would need a friend if she chose to pursue what he wanted. Jace closes his door, and opens hers once again as they walk towards his dock. "They aren't security specifically, but they work for me." He says, as he shakes the hand with a large man who simply says "Mr. Jace." as hello. Jace leads her up to the dock where all the boats were hitched. "These men specialize in maintaining my boats and planes. They make security checks and do maintenance to ensure everything is in perfect condition." He says as he puts a hand on the front of Lucy. "Lucy is my biological sister." He says, giving no further information. He was such a closed man, it was not that simple for him to speak of his personal life in any form. "Yes. What gave you that idea?" He said teasingly at her question if these boats belonged to him. "Jake! Get Lucy ready." He said without even a please. It was easy to see that this man got his way all the time. Jake, another tall man goes on to unravel the rope as he puts an anchor into the boat. "Are you ready?" Jace says with a boyish grin, making him look his age.

  • Addie smiled and chuckled. "It's an odd choice for their uniform then." she said softly and smiled at him. She giggled as he teased her. He said the boat was named after his sister and she smiled. "That's sweet. I bet she appreciated the gesture." Addie said wanting to ask more but she had a feeling she would want other questions later so she saved the pressure for now. Addie grinned as she watched Jake get the ship ready to take off. Jace asked if she was ready and she turned to him beaming and nodded. "Yes!" she said and smiled looking at him and beaming. He could be so mesmerizing. Addie smiled as they got on the boat him helping her on. She smiled up at him and followed him up to the steering wheel. She was so excited. "So if friends and family call you Jace and everyone else calls you Mr. Evans than what does it mean when they call you Mr. Jace?" she asked as she leaned gently against the railing holding on already enjoying herself and excited to be out on the ocean. She took a deep breath smelling the ocean and the smell of boats. She looked up at Jace tilting her head gently. Addie wondered just what was going through Jace's mind right now on the verge of telling her the one thing he had been trying to keep her from all this time. They had already established that he wasn't a murderer or a closet serial killer so she wasn't really worried or anything.
    July 7th, 2017 at 06:26am
  • "Somebody is excited to go in Lucy." He says with a surprising amount of seriousness, as he takes her hand and helps her onto it. "Thank you, Jake." He says, as Jake finishes unraveling the rope completely. Jace goes over and fires it up as he sticks a key in and turns the ignition. "There she is." he says under his breath as the motor rumbles. It doesn't take long for him to get her running as he steers it away from the dock and towards the open sea in a direction that he naturally knew. "Sit." He says, folding down the passenger seat beside him for her to sit. He boats naturally, steering it around rocks and algae as they really start to gain speed. "Jake has worked for me for years. Before I started going by strictly Mr. Evans. I cut him a break." He says. "Though, I still prefer Mr. Evans." He admits, as he looks out at the beautiful vast sea. Boats in the distance also ran, and showed on his GPS. "Would you like to drive?" He says. "We are going to Hayden Island. I have an estate there." He says, turning the boat a little bit north ways. It was truly a sight to see, breathtaking and the fresh air cooling the lungs. Jace loved to boat as much as he loved to fly. It made him feel free and away from the world, where he could be alone and allow his thoughts to roam endlessly. It was his safe place to be himself, and it was not a part of him he shared. Except now. "Come. I'll teach you." He says.

  • Addie smiled. "It's my first time on a boat." she admired to him. He explained about Jake and she smiled. "That's nice." she said and smiled. She liked the way he seemed to enjoy his boat how he took every corner and the sound of his boat as pure joy. It was beautiful to watch. He had her sit beside him and she sat there watching him. She liked the way her hair rushed on the breeze as they started to pick up speed and how her hair whipped a little as the boat when faster. She pulled her hair into a half pony tail. "Drive? I-I don't know." she said and pulled her hair over one shoulder. He insisted and she stood carefully and walked over to him. He had her move in front of him and she blushed. She was almost afraid to touch the steering wheel and he took her hands and placed them over the wheel himself. She could feel him behind her and she bit her bottom lip glad he was behind her. He spoke and she could feel his breath against her cheek and she looked out at the horizon as he told her too. She smiled squealing softly as she was getting the hang of it and he started to let go. "Jace!" she gasped as he let go entirely. She wanted him to keep guiding her. She smiled relaxing as his hands came back to hers and she smiled hearing the smile in his voice.

  • "It's my first time taking a women on my boat." He said. "Looks like we are both doing some 'firsts'." He smiles at her as his perfectly tainted lips grinned enough to cause butterflies with just a look. "Come on." He insisted, as he took her hands and leaded her in front of him. "Put your hands on the wheel. It's just like driving." He says, as he takes her hands and places them on the wheel gently as she seemed to be so stunned from reality. "Good girl." He says, as she takes a deep breath and grips onto the wheel. "You see this compass? We are trying to go south east, and the wind is taking us off track. Just steer it slightly." He says, moving the wheel ever so gently with hers a little to the left. "That's it." He says, as he takes his hands off her. Not long after, her high gasp causes him to put his hands back. "Relax." He says lightheartedly. "Easy turns." He says, moving the wheel with her again ever so slightly. "Were almost there." He says, and sure enough as you looked into the horizon ahead a small line of houses on the island came into view. Slowly, he took control of his boat again as he guided it towards the sandy shore. As it goes pummeling towards the sand at an alarming speed to a passenger watching, Jace knowledgeably shuts off the boat in perfect timing as it then stops running and slowly is pushed into the sand by the tide. He jumps off the boat and pulls it towards a large wooden peg as he takes the rope out and starts knotting it around the makeshift dock. "Were here." He says. "Come, I want to take you to my island house." he says, lifting her up out of the boat as he guided her towards the quiet island pulling his shades down onto his eyes. He looked oddly young and out of his professional element.

  • Addie couldn't believe he was doing something different with her. He didn't seem like the kind of man to break his patterns but perhaps there was a reason for it this time. She smiled giggling as she was staring the boat, with Jace's help of course. She grinned and enjoyed the ride until Jace took back over and she sat back down looking out at the ocean. It was a stunning view and she felt as light as the breeze that had whipped her hair around and made her look a little wild. Addie smiled watched as he expertly docked the boat. She watched his hands tie the knot and how his muscles moved under his cloths to make the boat do what he wanted. She grinned as he said to come. She moved in front of him and he lifted her off the boat making her chuckle. She felt small against him, delicate and yet also glorious. She didn't know why and it still made her blush but it was nice to feel like this. "Mr. Evans are you showing off?" she asked him and smiled as they walked to his other house. She liked to say his last name almost sarcastically not that he really noticed the difference because he hadn't had the opportunity to hear her be professional at work because he was still teasing her at work most the time. Addie wondered how many estates he had. Addie looked at him and smiled. He looked relaxed and content. She wondered if she had ever seen him like this before and couldn't think of a time. He was truly many different shades of the same man. She looked up as they walked closing to a building and her eyes opened a little. "This is your island house?" she asked him and looked over at him.
    July 7th, 2017 at 07:31am
  • "Showing off? I've never felt the need to." He said honestly as serious as ever. "I must be impressing you." He teased, a more playful side of him now appearing. Jace looked amused at the wondrous look on her face at the sight of his island house. It was definitely one of the flashier houses on the islands, and was probably pretty pricey as the balcony on the one side actually touched the ocean. "Of course it is. You can't intrude on property you don't have rights to, Adaline." He says humorously, leaning over the boat as he pulled out a key from the bottom of the seat. They walked together towards the island house, as he stuck the key in. He felt unusually old fashioned as he was so used to his card door lock. "Welcome." He says, as they enter another clean plain home. It still had a modern edge, but the buildings foundation itself was built quite a while back so it also had a traditional vibe to it unlike his mansion. "I'm going to have a drink. Would you like to join me? A glass of wine perhaps." He says, going over to the bar. He pulls out two beautifully large glasses, clear and perfectly clean crystal without a spot likewise this island home. It was a dream home of someone wealthy even, and the place was enormously large for an island home. Everything he had was so out of range and unbelievable to an average person. But he was not ordinary, and neither was this over the top fancy home. The large paned windows let in the natural sun, complimenting the shadows from his jaw to his arms to the shirt fitted around his chest. "Some Chateau Margaux or some Pouilly-Fuissé from Chardonnay okay with you?" He asked, listing off his expensive wines mostly unheard of to the average person once again.

  • Addie smiled. "No you wouldn't need to." she said and smiled thinking of how this placed showed itself off without need to just like him. He didn't need to be flashy to be looked at, he was a rare man without the fine suits. She could see that. He was a man that could do quiet things and be known but instead he was a man that did loud things that made everyone turn in envy and desire. She wondered what that said about him but she couldn't think anymore on it as he asked her about the wine. "I think you could pin my desires without my need to say anything." she said knowing she was talking about more than the wine. She walked over to the window looking out at the sea. This was a stunning house the traditional mixed so easily and perfectly with the modern. Addie looked over at him as he came over to her and handed her the wine. "Thank you." she said softly and took a sip of the wine and made a small delighted sound her eyes closing as she swallowed the sip her cheeks heating at the alcohol. She looked back at him. "Good choice." she said softly delighted with the wine. It was something she had never experienced before, really good wine. "This is lovely." she said thinking how close it was to a date considering Jace doesn't date. None the less she could feel the nerves or what ever they where about what he was going to reveal to her. She wondered what Jace was going to do until he got to the topic they knew they had come here to discuss.
    July 7th, 2017 at 08:27am
  • "Very well. Pouilly it is." he says, pouring two glasses half full. He takes it back to her, and hands the glass into her hand. They both take a sip, and Jace sets his down on the clear glass table. "I'm glad you are enjoying it." He said, giving nothing away with his hard look. He observes her, tilting his head slightly as he takes another drink of his wine. He is relaxed against his chair, and his smoldering look throws hot fire everywhere. The look was so deep, dark, and passionate it was unavoidable. He was unavoidable. "So I suppose we should cut to the chase." He says, his eyes draining of any happiness that was seen when they were on the boat. This was the deciding moment, was she going to be his fuck toy or was she going to leave because she wouldn't be treated properly? Either way, it was a fair decision. He would have to understand, because most women would not want to agree to be given no freedom and used as pleased by a dominant. As much as he wanted to not be who he was, he knew that he would never date and still had no desire to ever be with someone. She was too good for this, and the thought was disturbing for her to even consider it. Most women with his lifestyle were not normal, innocent, or anything sweet. They were dangerous and just as dark as he was. He knew that this was what he needed and wanted, someone of mutual feelings that could and had the right traits to be a submissive. It was not an easy job for an average women, it took a lot of out of a person to lose who they are. Jace bites his tongue, not wanting to lose her. In fact, all he wanted was to pound the shit out of her and make her come to him. Yet, it was so wrong for him to not give her what she needed. He was selfish, but he already knew that and had accepted it a long time ago. It's what made him Jace Evans, the sexiest billionaire bachelor imaginable. "If you will excuse me for a moment, there is some business we must attend to before we continue." He says, his face emotionless. He was the master of being the most private man ever, and only ever chose to give things away.

  • Addie could tell he switched into business only mode. She tilted her head to the side. Is that how he saw this as business? She watched his eyes go wild with was a different turn she had never seen at work, well a few times but only when they weren't talking professionally. He said they should get to it and she walked over and sat across from him. She didn't like the way he looked now. He looked sad and that was something she didn't like. What about this made him sad? She didn't understand and she couldn't reach out to comfort him. Addie sat there as he thought and sipped her wine setting it down and set her head in her hands her arms propped up against her legs as she looked at him like she would a piece of art. It seemed to make him less complicated if she did that. He said to excuse her a moment while he took care of some business they needed to do. She chuckled and sat back. "Let me guess you want me to sign a nondisclosure agreement... for personal use." she said and crossed her legs. "Go gather what you need Jace. I will still be here waiting." she said softly her head tilted a little to the side as she looked him over again. He left the room and she stood and walked around it touching things she hadn't felt she could with him around then walked back up to the beautiful window and out at the sea as it crashed against the rocks and sand. It was a beautiful view and something she wouldn't soon forget. She heard his foot steps coming back into the room. He walked different now. Something about it was more, aggressive. She tilted her head to the side a moment before hearing him stop. She turned to him then and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "Well should we continue or would you like to watch me some more Sir?" she asked watching the flare in his eyes at that word and she smiled. She was gathering some information. "Are you going to tell me why you like it when I call you that?" she asked and returned to her seat. She slipped off her sandals and pulled her feet into the chair to one side. She was preparing for a long conversation.
    July 7th, 2017 at 07:51pm
  • His eyes are slightly disturbed. At least she knew it was coming. "Yes. This means you cannot speak about our personal experiences or conversations in any form with anyone including Rikki and your family. You will only speak to me about what happens between us." His lips are pressed. He was so serious, and even as she gave off light chuckles and small smiles, he held his stance. "Okay. Please wait here." He says, thinking she was worthy of a please in this specific scenario. He took his glass with him as he left the classy room, and headed to a bedroom. On the dresser was a large yellow envelope with the label Jace Evans. He had Jake bring these documents to ensure they were ready when he needed them. Jace takes the entire folder with him as he heads back into the dining room. "I like to look at you. You're very distracting, though." he admits. "But, we should continue. Come sit." he points to the chair across from him where she was seated earlier. Once they both sit, he opens the envelope slowly and sets some papers aside as he pulls out a non disclosure agreement, different then the one he had his employees sign. "You only need to sign here." He says, leaning forward and pointing to a neatly printed line on the bottom of the long agreement. "Patience, Ms. Laurent." He says, looking up at her. "We will go over everything from beginning to finish." His voice is a low growl, scolding dominant but still remarkably soft for the kind of man he was. His eyes drift to her wine, and back up at her as he stares into her. "You must be hungry. You need to eat." He says. "Can I get you something while we go over this agreement?"

  • Addie sighed. "I see, well let me see it." she said before he left. She thought it over. She wondered what exactly that meant. He sat back down and she looked over the document and blinked as she read it. "So I can't tell Rikki that we came to your island house and talked?" she asked wanting to specify. Did it mean the specifics or did it mean at all? She couldn't tell. He explained and then she took the pen from the table and signed the bottom and pushed the paper back towards him. She took her wine and sipped it then sighed. "Alright I'll try not to interrupt." she said and sighed when he asked if she was hungry. "I'm to anxious to eat just yet. I will let you know if I can't wait any longer." she said and bit her bottom lip. "Please Jace just tell me already." she said and noticed how he was stalling. He didn't want her to know because he was act raid she would run from him, that much she understood. Addie ran a hand through her hair pulling out the band that held her hair and put that around her wrist once again. Addie felt like she couldn't wait any longer. She needed to know what it was he hid and what he thought he was trying so desperately to protect her from.
    July 7th, 2017 at 09:27pm
  • Jace scans her for any signs of an expression as she goes over the non disclosure agreement. "No. If you sign this, Rikki cannot know what we did." He says quite straight forwardly. "You can't tell her what we did, but you can tell her you were with me." He says. "No details, locations, specifics. I also don't allow for photos or any social media publicity." he further clarifies. Finally, she signs and sets the pen down. Jace takes the documents she slid over and set it beside the rest of the documents in a organized fashion. "You can ask me questions if necessary. I won't lie to you, Adaline." Jace takes the pen between his fingers as he taps it against the table briefly. It is clear he is in deep thought. "Just as a reminder, you are not obligated to do or agree to anything you don't want to do. Do you understand, Adaline?" He says, needing reassurance that this decision was going to be hers and only hers. Finally, his jaw tenses as his square line hardens. His eyes are hooded protectively, but he speaks in a soft husky voice. "The reason I don't date is because I'm a dominant." He said, not sure if she would understand exactly what that was. "It's similar to being a sadist, but I don't like to refer to myself with that term." He says gently, trying to gauge her for a reaction. They sit quietly, and when she doesn't speak, Jace is immediately concerned. "Adaline, say something." He commands. He was so bossy, and everything that made him who he was suddenly made sense.

Addie guessed it made sense what he wanted the privacy for. He wanted no one to know what he was or be able to find him or interrupt him doing what he was doing. He told her and she sat there her he'd tilted slightly her mouth set with her lips slightly apart until he told her to speak. She had been going through everything trying to see if it made more sense now that she knew. She looked into him with more focused eyes. "I still don't understand." she finally said. She didn't know what he was trying to tell her. More than likely he would need to show her for her to really grasp what he was talking about."So that bar we first met in...." she didn't know her question and she frowned. She knew a better question and shook her head. "How many women do you do this with at a time?" she asked him. She tucked her hair behind her ear then pulled it over her shoulder as she leaned in as she thought. "And the reason you are telling me is because you want... what from me?" she asked him already guessing. He was a man that didn't share unless it had a purpose.

  • "Do you know what a dominant is?" Jace asks softly. "A dominant always has a submissive. This is why you are here." He says. "A submissive is someone who submits themselves entirely to a dominant. Which is me. I want you to surrender yourself to me in all forms." His eyes were strained from trying to find what she was feeling. "Adaline, you are giving nothing to me. Please tell me what you are thinking." He leans over and tilts her chin up so she would stop looking down, and suddenly the urge to press his tongue into her mouth became overwhelming. He held his control without even wavering, and sighed. " Look at me." Jace runs his thumb along the side of her face until she obeyed. "No one is in ears reach. You are safe, and we are alone. You can talk to me." His lips twitched, and he shook his head. "No, I wasn't looking for a submissive if that is what you are asking. I was actually purchasing the bar." He says honestly. "Usually one or two at a time, depending on how satisfied I am. I have had 22 women total in this agreement. Some have been long term, and some have been brief." Jace frowns. This was not going over well. "I want you. Whole." he says with such desire it was felt deep within.
