Jack stood at the rear end of The Pearl, he had a bottle of rum in his right hand. Jack, the capuchin monkey, say on his left shoulder with its tail around Jack's neck like a noose. He wrinkled his nose at the monkey. ''You're uglier than me, and that sure says something'' he said and made eye contact with it. The monkey's lips curled up in a grin, its head turned slightly to the left. ''You should've joined Hector in his grave,'' he muttered and took a sip from the bottle. The monkey slapped him, making him spit out the rum, he watched as it hit the deck. He dramatically gasped, ''Monkey! Look what you made me do.'' He grabbed Jack and put him on the railing, ''Shoo!'' He waved him away and let out a deep sigh.

He took another sip and turned around on his heel, coming face to face with Gibbs. ''Captain, we're hitting ground soon,'' Gibbs said and took a step back. Jack nodded, ''Thank you, Gibbs.'' He threw the bottle to Gibbs and hurried over to the helm. He quickly grabbed the wheel and flipped open his compass. Its arrow was pointed towards north, he looked up from the compass, a harbor was starting to appear. He grinned as he looked into the bay of Tortuga.

Henry stood on the deck of the Flying Dutchman, peering out on the open sea. He put a hand on the railing, his father and the previous crew, the ones that hadn't died atleast, had decided to give up the sea life, and spend their last days on ground, so they could bury their faces in some woman's chest.

He was rather excited to spend some years at sea, especially with Carina by his side. He smiled at the thought of her, he was happy that she agreed to follow him, and that she also liked being out on the sea. It also gave her a chance to study the sky and stars, plus he thought that maybe it would make her understand her father a little more. His heart ached for her, it had been several months now, but he could see it still made her sad.

He had seen her cry late at night, when everyone was asleep, and it was only him and her who were awake. She never noticed him until he wrapped his arms around her, following the rhythm of the ship. He felt so sorry for her, and he tried to comfort her whenever she needed him. He stood up and looked around for her, slowly making his way across the deck.
