Mirah walked through the Whitmore college campus students were spilling out of the classrooms everywhere, it was the end of the day and they were heading either back to their dorms or to the campus bar, which was exactly where Mirah was heading. She needed a drink. Seeing as she couldn't get her hands on any blood bags till later she would have to comfort herself with booze and the company of her best friend/sister Pippa.

Weaving through the students she had to fight her bloodlust to the point of discomfort. Once she was inside the bar she hurried over to the bar where a bright eyed, blonde haired girl was serving.

"Hi yes... how are you? Can I get two shots of bourbon please," she nearly begged but had to reign it in in order not to be suspicious. The blonde nodded her head smiling before pouring out the two shots for her, she shot them back as if they were simply water. The alcohol took the edge off her cravings. Holding her hand up she ordered two more.
Tyler had finished for the day, he was so relieved it was the weekend and now he had two days to do what he wanted to do. That consisted of sleeping and partying and in that order. He was leaving his class and heading toward his dorm room when he was stopped in his steps by a brunette.

She wasn't doing anything in particular that captured his attention other than standing alone. Taking a deep breath he walked over to her. He must admit she did look a little lost.

"Hey there, can I help you? You look a little lost?" he asked as he stood in front of her. She was most certainly pretty. There was no denying but there was also something else about her. A sense that she wasn't human, that she was in fact something supernatural.

Kai had heard his younger sister Olivia worked at the bar on the Whitmore College campus, he had just escaped from the prison world and he wanted to make his sudden appearance known by his family. So he thought it would be best to start with whoever was closest at the time, he had caught a cab there before he killed the driver with a pair of head phones and he hadn’t even batted an eyelid over it.

Making his way across the campus, he found the Scull Bar easier enough. He pushed the front door open and stepped inside, he took a second to scan the inside of the building. There was only another couple off to the side of the bar, a raven-haired beauty sitting at the bar and then his sister who was standing behind the bar.

He smirked as he walked over to the bar and sat down on the stool, it was obvious that Liv didn’t recognise him but why would she? She had only been a young child when their father and coven sent him to the prison world. “Isn’t this a new little town, I was somewhere very similar to this.” He grinned as he looked at both the girls, there was something about the dark-skinned beauty but he wasn’t there for anything other than scaring his sister.
Pippa was meant to be meeting Micah at the college bar, however she wasn’t entirely sure where the Scull Bar was on the campus. She was about to call her best friend for directions when she heard a voice, a voice that suddenly caused a shiver to run down her spine as it hit a nerve in Pippa. It was familiar to her, but Pippa had been through so much in the past few years that she couldn’t pinpoint why the voice had such a reaction in her.

That was until she looked up to who the voice belonged to, if her heart was still beating then it would have stopped. There was no doubt in Pippa’s mind to who was standing before her, she had never thought she’d see him again. Of course she thought about going back to Mystic Falls, to see Tyler again but she couldn’t. Not only was she a witch but she was now also a vampire, and have been for a few years. How could she possibly explain that to him?

But he also seemingly had changed in more ways than one. “Ty?” She spoke although her voice came out as a soft whisper, she couldn’t believe he was here. Sure Whitmore College was close to Mystic Falls, but she still hadn’t expected to see him there. She didn’t know what to say to him, all she wanted to do was reach out and touch him. She had missed him so much.

Mirah turned her head slightly when she heard a male speak, briefly her eyes wandered over the male. He was attractive there was no denying it but there was something about him, something that unsettled her but something else. A magic that lay dormant. Shrugging her shoulders she turned her attention to the drinks inside her.

Where the hell was Pippa? She could smell every ounce of blood in this room, she needed a blood bag otherwise she was going to have to compel everyone in her while she feasted on someone. Raising her hand she ordered another two shots. She knew how this probably looked. Like she had a bad day or that she had a very bad relationship with burboun.

Her eyes wandered back to the male who sat beside her on one of the bar stools, her eyes zeroing in on his neck, seeing his pulse and hearing his heartbeat and the delicious scent of blood. She could feels the veins around her eyes begin to itch. Inhaling through her mouth she tried to control herself, she felt the itching stop and she knew she was safe, the veins had disappeared underneath her skin again.

"What brings you to this bar?" she asks the male trying to strike up a conversation to take her mind off her cravings. "Can I have the bottle?" she asked the blonde slapping down several notes.
Tyler came to a screaming halt when he saw who he was talking to her, he could never forget her. He would remember her eyes and her smile anywhere. What was she doing here? He never thought he would see her again, when her and her family left Mystic without so much as a goodbye he thought that it would have been the last time he ever saw her.

"Pippa?" he was confused, startled, and he had so many questions to ask her. "What are you doing here?" that was the first question that fell from his lips, he really wanted to know. "Where have you been?" he stepped toward her.

He had spent a whole year missing her, she was his first love. The first girl he had given everything to, the girl he thought he would marry. When she left he had been a wreck, one of the reasons he had been such a dick in school. She had been someone his family had approved of, the girl her mother could talk to about clothes and a girl his father could show off to his friends. Then she left. And now here she was, standing right in front of him.

Kai could sense there was more to the curly hair beauty, a dark secret that not many people knew. His skin tingled slightly from just being close to her, she had magic running through her veins. Another witch that he could tap into if his sister somehow got away from him, it really was his lucky day. Getting out of his personal Hell and being close to the place where his siblings were, it was like all of this was meant to happen today.

He glanced over when the dark-skinned girl asked if she could have the bottle of bourbon, he lifted his eyebrow as Olivia took the cash and set the bottle on the bar. “I was just passing through, thought I’d stop to see some family.” He replied when the girl spoke to him, she was beautiful but he did hope she didn’t try to stop him or get in his way. He would hate to have to get rid of such a gorgeous person.

“Bad day? I’ve have some of those, well I’ve had a lot of horrible days.” He asked as he watched her take a long drink from the bottle, he was impressed. He also wondered if other girls drank like that, he hadn’t been in the real world for so long that he almost forgot what it was actually like. So much has changed while he was gone, but as he looked into the rich brown eyes of the girl sitting beside him. He saw pain and tiredness, which most people didn’t have.
All Pippa wanted to do was wrap her arms around Tyler once again and kiss him, he was the first and only boy she has ever loved. She had given him everything, so when her parents suddenly forced her to leave without even saying goodbye. It shattered her heart. “I’m a student here now,” She told him as she couldn’t look away from him, nor did she want to in fear that this was all a nightmare and she’d wake up and he’d be gone again. “It’s a really long story,” She couldn’t tell him everything right now, not when other students were walking past them.

“Do you know where Scull Bar is? I have to meet my best friend there, come with me. I’ll tell you everything,” She promised as he deserved to know, she could smell the changes that he had gone through. Apparently he was somehow a hybrid, his wolf scent was stronger meaning the Lockwood family had the werewolf gene but how he became a hybrid was beyond her. Reaching out she rested her hand on his arm, causing so many strong emotions to run through her.

She couldn’t help herself, she knew he would have moved on from her and that he probably had a girlfriend now. But she had missed him so much. Once Tyler nodded his head, Pippa followed him across campus until they reach the bar. They waited for another couple to walk out before Pippa stepped inside, her eyes instantly finding Mirah who was sitting at the bar with a bottle of bourbon in her hand. “You’ll really like Mirah,” She smiled as she looked at Tyler, however as she walked over to her friend she did notice the way the pretty blonde bartender looked at him.

Pippa wasn’t surprised, a little hurt but not surprised. “Sorry I got lost…” Pippa smiled when Mirah’s eyes landed on her, she could her friend was struggling and needed a blood bag. She wasn’t really paying attention to the conversation that the blonde was having with the guy at the bar, until she suddenly jumped backwards from the bar. Then a hand grabbed Pippa’s arm and pain surged through her entire body, she could feel her magic being drawn away from her and it hurt like hell.

"You have no idea," Mirah groaned as she continued to sip from the bourbon bottle like a hungry baby. She turned when she heard the doors to the Scull Bar swing open a relieved smile spread across her face when she saw Pippa walk in.

"Of course you did... who is your friend?" she shot the dark haired male a smile, that was when she heard the commotion behind her, she turned in time to see the blonde from the bar jump away before the dark haired male had grabbed Pippa's arm.

"Hey!" Mirah growled allow her veins to show and her true side to come out. "Motus" she watched the dark haired male fly across the room. "Incendia," her eyes locked on the male and she watched as his pants caught on fire. "Get out!" she cried her attention turning to the blonde behind the bar and Pippa.

She stepped toward the male whose leg was still burning, lifting her hand she made a quick incantation and watched as he began to writhe in pain and the fire around him began to die down.

"Who are you?" she snarled glaring down at him.
"Tyler, hi," Tyler introduced himself to the female who was sitting at the bar with a rather large bottle of bourbon. He eyed it rather suspiciously but his attention soon moved away from that when he saw Olivia jump away from the bar a scream falling from her lips. He didn't have a chance to do anything before a brown haired male had grabbed Pippa's arm.

His eyes widened in shock at what unravelled. Within seconds Pippa's friend had the male flung across the room and on fire. He also noticed that she was in fact a vampire. A vampire with magic. How was that even possible. He didn't have a chance to ask her before she had told them to run. He didn't need to be told twice. Grabbing Pippa he pulled her out of the bar and into yard.

"We need to get you away from here, whoever he was I have a feeling he is going to pull that trick again.... are you okay?" he asked her his eyes raking over her looking for any signs of injury. "Who was she? What was she?" the questions tumbled from his lips. That was when he saw Liv run from the bar.

"Hey who is he?" he called out. The blonde turned and looked at him.

"His name is Kai, Malachi Parker, he is my brother.... he wants me dead," was all she said before running off.

"If he wants her dead, what does he want with you?"

Kai had felt the magic flow through him once he had touched the brunette’s arm, she was very interesting to him. She was a witch but also a vampire, he really had been lucky that she walked in when she did because Liv had managed to get away from him. However it was short lived because he was suddenly flying through the air, he groaned when he landed hard and panicked when his pants caught fire.

He didn’t have time to react before pain filled his head, crying out it was hard for him to focus on the girl who was causing him so much pain. “Kai… I didn’t mean to hurt your friend, I’m only here for my family.” He groaned his hands holding both sides of his head, “Stop and I’ll explain.” He looked over at her as he laid on the wooden floor, then the pain vanished and his body relaxed.

“She’s like you, a witch and a vampire.” Kai was very interested in learning more about these two girls, “I do apologize. You see I haven’t been around many people for a very long time, my manners must be off.” He spoke as he stood up, he decided to stay away from the girl so she wouldn’t use her magic on him again.

“I’m a witch as well… well I’m actually a siphoner, which is why I needed a little help from your friend. I’m not here to harm you, all I want is to see my family dead.” He admitted to her, he sent her a smile as her body remained tense. “Come on, relax a little. That bourbon should have helped a little tiny bit, right.” He grinned as he wasn’t here to punish anyone outside of his family and the Gemini coven.
Relief washed over Pippa the second that the guy let her arm go, she glanced behind her to see that Mirah was taking care of him. She left the bar with Tyler knowing that Mirah could take care of herself, she had never felt anything like that before but she knew exactly what he was. Pippa only knew of one siphoner and that was Mirah. She looked up at Tyler, “I’m fine… I told you, it’s a long story. Mirah is a vampire but she was a siphoner first, a witch who can’t generate their own magic. But if they touch another witch or a vampire, they can take magic… and I’m pretty sure that guy in there is another siphoner.” She explained quietly to keep anyone from overhearing them.

“I’m a witch too, I never knew it until I had to leave you.” Pippa looked into his dark eyes, the eyes that she adored. “Mirah saved me… but to do that, she had to turn me.” She lowered her head as she was scared that he would reject her, she was a vampire and a witch. When she had left him, she was a normal girl with no issues.

Her magic hadn’t come until the day her parents dragged her away from her home and the boy she madly loved, her emotions caused her magic to awaken inside her body. “I don’t think he wants anything from me, he just wanted to use my magic.” Pippa had no idea how Tyler was going to react, maybe coming to Whitmore College wasn’t such a good idea. No matter how much Pippa wanted to stay and be with Tyler, she wasn’t going to put him any danger including any danger that may come from her being a vampire.

Tyler listened as Pippa explained what had just happened, a siphoner, he had never heard of them before. By the sounds of it they are rare. The male was startled to hear that Pippa was a witch. An actual witch. "How is it possible? How can you be both, I have been told that isn't possible. A witch cannot be a vampire, it defies the law or whatever..." he questioned trying to get his head around what was actually happening. He was being told that the one person he thought he wouldn't see again was a witch, and not just a witch but a vampire as well.

"Why were you turned into a vampire? What happened?" he stopped and looked down at his feet. "uh... sorry you don't have to tell me if you don't want to." Tyler knew better then to pry but he was a little more than curious as to why she had been turned into a vampire. However he also knew it was her choice to tell him or not and he wasn't going to press for information considering it had been years since he had seen her and truth be told he had no right to know.
Mirah looked at the male, "You want me to relax when you just caused my friend a great deal of pain and for what? You want to kill your family?" truth be told Mirah didn't know what to say. How could someone want their family dead so bad. She decided to keep the fact that she too was a siphoned to herself. Knowing better than to tell a psycho that there was a way a siphoner could become self-dependant with their own form of magic.

"If you come near my friend again I promise I will kill you," she snarled exposing her real face for effect hoping that would be enough to scare him away. If that didn't work she honestly had no idea how she was going to be able to keep both herself and Pippa safe. She knew he wielded an ability that could be fatal and angering him may just result in her death.

"Why do you want your family dead so much?" she asked genuinely interested in his reasoning as to why he could want blood relations dead.

Kai looked at the beauty, “I didn’t want to hurt your friend. But she was the closest one to me,” He shrugged his shoulders lightly as he walked back over to the bar, grabbing the bottle of bourbon he took a long sip of the strong alcohol. “I won’t go near her again,” He promised as he looked at her, the vampire part of her didn’t scare him as he had already been through hell. A vampire was nothing compared to what his personal hell was, reaching behind the bar he grabbed a bowl of peanuts and started eating them.

“If you knew my family, you wouldn’t be so surprised.” Kai glanced over at her, just to make sure she isn’t going to try anything again. “Once they all knew what I was, they treated me differently. Called me horrible names, called me an abomination. Even my twin sister, and that hurt.” He explained before taking another drink of the bourbon, “My coven pushed me out. Sent me into a prison world, which I just escaped from. I’m here for my revenge, which doesn’t include your friend.” He spoke as he sat back down on the stool, his elbow resting against the bar.

“You don’t have to worry, as long as you stay out of my way. I won’t have a reason to harm you,” But he was very interested in her, she had used magic on him and yet she was a vampire. Her friend was the same, but this girl seemed older and more powerful than her friend. But he had never heard of a witch vampire hybrid.
Pippa looked up at Tyler and shook her head lightly, “I honestly don’t know. Neither Mirah and I can work it out, but I won’t be a witch for much longer. Please don’t tell Mirah,” She asked him as she didn’t want her best friend knowing that she could feel her magic weakening, and how been feeling her magic vanish for a few months now. She knew this would come, soon enough all her magic would be gone and she’d just be a vampire.

“It’s fine… the reason we left was because my mum refused to help a vampire, it angered him and he threatened our lives. My parents ran, mum was a witch but dad wasn’t and they had kept it all from me.” She sighed softly as she hated remembering what happened, but she wanted Tyler to know.

“We thought we were safe, but he found us. He killed my parents and nearly killed me… Mirah found me, killed the vampire before trying to save me with her blood. But it was too late, I was already too close to death.” Pippa explained one of the worst days of her life, she had come home from her new school to find her parent’s dead bodies lying on the floor. “We’ve been together ever since… so how have you been?” She asked trying to change the subject, “I heard about your parents. I’m so sorry Ty, I should have been there for you.”

Tyler didn't know what to say about her losing her magic, perhaps it was due to her being a vampire that she was losing her magical abilities, but how had she been able to maintain her magical abilities for so long. From what he has gathered, there is something more about Mirah, something different to the witch he knew.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry Pippa..." Tyler didn't have any words that could console her, he wanted to but he didn't know what to say. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and protect her from the world around them, and the dangers that lurked in the shadows. Tyler's eyes left hers shooting down to the ground. "It's not your fault. There was nothing anyone could do..." If Tyler had known what was going to happen to his mother he would have done everything in his power to stop it but unfortunately he hadn't. His father's death, even though it hurt Tyler had never really had a relationship with his father. His father had always been a dick.

"Do you think we should go back in there for your friend?" it was a drastic change in conversation but if there was a nut job in there even if she was a vampire vampires can be killed.
Mirah spun on the male, what kind of answer was that? He hurt her best friend because she was next to him. The urge to send him flying across the room was strong but she fought her urges as the male continued to speak."I hope you keep to your word, if I find out you have hurt her again I will return the favour in spades."

Mirah listened, even though she too was a siphoner she couldn't relate to his family history, her family had never questioned her abilities as she was certain her mother was also a siphoner and her father had never wielded magic, however when she had been turned into a vampire everything changed. By that time her family had been taken by the sickness and she had been left alone.

"That is good to know," she nodded her head watching as the chewed on the peanuts. "Well... as delightful as this has been... I do hope to never see you again." with that she turned on her feet and went to walk out of the bar.

Kai gave the girl a short wave of his hand, “Keep your threats to yourself lovely. I’ll keep my word, you just need to calm down.” He looked at her and grinned, “Take a seat. Finish off your drink, we do have the bar to ourselves now.” He chuckled softly as he reached over the bar again, he grabbed a glass and poured himself a beer.

Taking a drink, he sighed softly, “That’s really good.” He spoke to himself before he glanced over at the girl again, she was beginning to walk out of the bar. “I am not have been around for a while, but I do know that if a witch is turned into a vampire. They don’t keep their magic, what makes you so special?” He spoke louder in hopes that it would cause her to stop, he liked her and didn’t want to drink in the bar alone.

“Your friend is losing her magic, did you know that? I felt it,” He turned around on the stool as he rested his back against the edge of the bar, “You seem older. You weren’t born in this century, you shouldn’t have your magic. That interests me,” He watched as his words worked, the girl did stop but she kept her back to him. Probably thinking of what to do or say to him, but Kai knew a witch can’t be a vampire and kept their magic. It didn’t work that way, so why was it working for her?
Pippa watched Tyler, they had both lost so much including each other. But now that she had him back in her life, she wasn’t going to let anything happen to him. “I know, but I’m still so sorry” She softened her voice as her fingers wrapped around his hand, having physical contact with him again after so long felt amazing. It hadn’t changed a single bit, she still felt like that’s where she belonged. Then he changed the subject and brought up Mirah, even though Pippa knew Mirah could take care of herself.

She was still alone with a stranger who seems to be insane, “I’ll go back for her. You need to stay here,” She looked at Tyler but she knew he wasn’t going to listen to her, there was no way he’d let her do anything that could be dangerous. Seeing the look in his eyes, she signed as she gave in. “Fine, but don’t go near him.” Pippa could tell that Tyler was human, if he got hurt then he wouldn’t be able to heal himself.

Turning Pippa made her way back towards the bar, as she pushed the doors open she heard what the guy said to Mirah. He knew there was something different about her best friend, her eyes landed on Mirah who was close to getting away. They had kept what Mirah is a secret, Pippa wouldn’t allow a crazed guy to ruin things now. So Pippa turned her attention onto him, raising her hand she sent him flying through the air. He crashed through a few tables as he landed, he then laughed so Pippa made a fist and caused him to start choking. But it hurt her to use so much of her magic all at once.

(sorry for the lateness I have been sick and my creative juices hit a wall but I am back and slowly replying)

"Yeah right, as if I am staying out here while you go in there and face a complete nut job." rolling his eyes the male nodded his head, "Alright, I promise I will stay out of harms way," with that the two walked back to the bar that was now empty, except for Mira and Kai. As much as Tyler wanted to protect Pippa he knew that she had the strength and ability to protect herself and him.

Tyler had no idea what was going on when all of a sudden the male went flying across the bar into a heap of tables. His laughter turned into choking. Tyler hurried over to Pippa.

"What are you doing?" he asked astounded. "You're going to kill him..."

"Pippa stop. He isn't worth it," Tyler's eyes darted between Pippa and her friend who was looking at her intently. His dark eyes moved over the male who was clutching his throat and trying to breathe.
"How I still have my magic is none of your concern, neither is when I was born."

Mirah halted, she had dreaded hearing that Pippa was loosing her music, she knew how things worked with vampirism. When the person was a witch before they were turned they lose their magical abilities. However Mirah had always thought it had skipped Pippa. Normally when they change they lose their magic straight away however Pippa had kept her magic. However that wasn't the case, she was in fact losing her magic and Mirah didn't know how that would effect her friend.

Mirah saw Pippa return to the bar she wanted to tell her to get out but she didn't have a chance because her attention was turned directly on Kai. Turning her head she watched as the male went flying through the air. His laughter confused her, how was he laughing when he had just sailed through the air. His laughter changed to choking and Mirah knew that Pippa was angry.

"Pippa stop, he isn't worth it," it was true the dark haired syphoner wasn't worth it however she also worried that the more she used her power the quicker she would lose her powers. "Come on let's get out of here," walking over to her friend she grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the bar and out into the open.

(I don’t really know where to go with Kai now :/ And sorry that this post is so bad)

Pippa’s eyes were trained on the psycho who was now choking and gasping for air, “I can try.” She hadn’t killed anyone before, Mirah always made sure of that. But when someone threatened her best friend then Pippa could be capable of anything, but then she was suddenly being dragged out of the bar. Her hold on the guy breaking although her head still started to spin, lately if Pippa used her magic she could feel dizzy afterwards. Something she had kept from Mirah, much like she kept her weakening magic from her friend as well.

“He’s dangerous, Mirah. He can’t be around you, he’ll find out.” Pippa looked at the only family she had left, Mirah was like a sister so Pippa would do anything to keep her safe including risking her own life and her magic. She had no idea what he wanted, but if he wanted the blonde bartender dead then he wasn’t here to make friends.

Pippa glanced over to Tyler, “Tyler this is Mirah.” She stole a glance at her friend, Mirah knew everything about Tyler. Pippa had told her everything after she was turned, as they thought if she remembered the love she had for her first boyfriend it would help keep Pippa as human as a vampire witch could be. She still couldn’t believe that he was there, she never thought he’d willingly go to college because most days he didn’t enjoy attending school unless they shared classes.

Mirah turned to look at her friend, a mixture of feelings were swirling around inside her, she wanted to sit down and talk to Pippa she wanted to ask her about her magical powers. Why she hadn't told her that she was loosing them, why she had to find out from the siphoner inside.

"It's alright Pippa," if he finds out we will deal with it then, "But..." she went to speak when the brunette introduced her to Tyler, the vampire turned her attention to the male who was walking up beside Pippa a shy smile spread across his face.

"Ah yes, the famous Tyler Lockwood, I have heard a lot about you... all good things. I'm Mirah. Vampire and friend of Pippa here... now shall we get as far away from this bar as possible?" she asked turning to look at the skull bar.

"Yes," Tyler agreed nodding his head before grabbing Pippa's hand and the three walked away together.

As terrifying as Kai was Mirah couldn't help but be a little intrigued by him. She wanted to know his reasoning as to why he was determined to kill his sister.

It was obvious to Pippa that the jerk inside the bar had captured Mirah’s attention, this was the first time she had come across another siphoner. She wasn’t sure if Mirah has ever met another one, part of Pippa was scared over that. If he was the only other siphoner that Mirah knew about, nothing would stop her from seeking him out again.

Not even if he was a crazed lunatic who was set on killing his own sister, Pippa didn’t understand what it felt like for Mirah to not know anyone else who was exactly like her.

Which is why she’d need to watch her best friend, so the lunatic didn’t find out how Mirah constantly had magic as Pippa wasn’t about to lose her best friend if he decided to try and kill Mirah. She was glad that Tyler was there with them, so Mirah wouldn’t bring up why she hadn’t said anything about her magic fading.

“Mirah…” Pippa whispered as she sent her friend an embarrassed glare, she didn’t want Tyler knowing that she still talked about him after all these years. Just because she still thought about him every day, didn’t mean that he did.

But when his hand found hers, Pippa felt like they were back in high school again without a care in the world. “So how is everyone? Is Matty here too?” She asked hoping Tyler was still friends with Matt, he was really the only other person that seemed to be able to keep Tyler grounded.

“We’ll have to introduce you to our friends, Mirah. You’ll really like them,” She smiled over to her best friend, although she wasn’t as close to Elena, Bonnie or Caroline, she still considered them friends. Pippa had always been closer to Tyler and Matt.

Tyler laughed at the way Pippa became embarrassed, he loved the way her cheeks flushed and she shot a glare at her friend. He was surprised and flattered that she still thought about him. He couldn't deny that she hadn't crossed his mind several hundred times since the two of them had been apart. He reached out one of his hands and grabbed hers shooting her a smile. He couldn't stop the feeling of dejavu and the way it felt like they were back in high school.

"Well things have most certainly changed since you left, you weren't the only one whose life was turned upside down... we most certainly have a lot to catch up on. Matt is still in Mystic Falls but the rest of us are here..." he wanted to continue but stopped himself. "Maybe I should tell you this somewhere more private," he said. He didn't need to be blurting out that their friends were of the supernatural kind.
Mirah listened to Pippa and Tyler talking and she could see the love the two still shared for each other, it was adorable. Mirah had never really found love, she had always decided that it would be too hard being the creature that she was. It wasn't as if she didn't want to find another person and fall in love but she had to find a way to open up to another and not be afraid that they were going to shun her.

"Pippa you should go with him, you two have a lot to catch up on... before you argue I promise I will stay out of trouble. I will simply go back to the dorm and start on our homework." she shot the brunette a smile before turning and walking away leaving the two standing there.

Kai had also left the bar, he had hidden himself so he could watch the beauty from the bar. He watched her as she walked away from her friend, he wasn’t sure when would be the next time he saw her. Which is why he decided to follow her, he had been stuck in his own personal hell for far too long. Now that he was back, he was going to do things differently.

He wanted to kill the last set of twins in his family, he wanted to have magic of his own and not have to take it from another witch. He was tired of not feeling the power that magic brought him, he wanted to get revenge on the entire Gemini coven and be the last one standing.

He followed the dark-skinned beauty from a distance, he didn’t want to ruin it by getting too close and have her fight back. He didn’t care if there were people around, he would use any of them or he would just kill them. It wasn’t like he hadn’t killed before, he had killed nearly his whole family after all.

It seemed like she was heading back to her dorm, Kai continued to follow her through the hallways and up the flight of stairs until she was suddenly gone. Frowning Kai scanned the floor he was on, it was pretty much a hallway with doors lining the walls. She would have gone into one of the dorm rooms, he just needed to find out which one. He’d kick the doors down if he had to.
Pippa nodded her head at Mirah, even though she knew Tyler could trust Mirah and say whatever he wanted in front of her. That didn’t mean he knew that, looking back at him she wanted to know everything that has happened. “I’m glad Matt is okay… but what else have I missed?” She looked at him slightly worried about what he would tell her.

Mystic Falls had always been a peaceful little town, not much should have changed since Pippa left because it was a quiet town. Nothing ever really happened there, at least it had been that way as Pippa grew up there.

Pippa guided them over to a wooden bench, it wasn’t busy with students so they should be able to talk privately. “Tell me everything,” She wanted to know what happened to her friends, she was preparing herself for the worst as it must have been bad if Tyler didn’t want to say anything in front of Mirah.

Tyler didn't know where to begin. So much had changed since she had left. He was no a were-wolf, half of their old friends were vampires, Bonnie was a witch Jeremy had died so many times, Elena has a evil dopplganger. Taking a deep breath he decided to start from the beginning when Stefan and Damon came to town.

"Well how about I start at the start. This is going to take a while. Well it all started when Stefan Salvatore came to town... which in turn caused his asshole of a brother, Damon Salvatore, to follow... and from there everything went down hill." he began to tell Pippa everything. He watched her reactions when he told her that Vicki Donovan was killed, when he told her about his were-wok curse being activated, how Klaus Mikaelson had come to town seeking out Elena's blood to help fuel his hybrids. How he became one of said hybrids. How he died and was brought back from the other side by Bonnie as well as all the other things all the way down to the current day.

"So that is everything you have missed. In just a few years everything has changed." he stated with a shrug of his shoulders.
Mirah could sense someone following her as she walked toward her dorm, with her vampiric speed she hurried to her dorm and closed the door. She had a strange feeling about Kai. He terrified her but at the same time he intrigued her. She knew she shouldn't feel this way but she had once been like him. A witch with no magical abilities, yet she could take power from others. she had been shunned by many and her family had been forced to leave their coven and instead they lived alone on the outskirts of town. Back then they had never had a term for what she was but now hearing Kai say the word it made complete sense, she was a siphoner.

She stood in her room listenting she could hear his heartbeat, smell his blood and she could hear his footsteps he was getting close. She prayed that he wouldn't find her a fear was creeping into her, even though she was older and more powerful there was a small niggling fear in the back of her mind of what he might do to her.

Kai stopped in the middle of the hallway, his eyes scanning each of the closed doors. He had no idea where the beauty was hiding, so he did the only thing he knew how. Threaten someone she loved. “Come on out, love. Or do I have to go find your little friend again? If I just so happen to touch her… I’ll only make her weaker… I wonder if that could kill her, huh.” He spoke the last of the sentence to himself mostly, could he kill someone by making them that weak? He would certainly like to try one day.

He grinned when he heard a slight movement behind a door on his left, “I know your there. All I want is to have a chat, if that happens then I won’t kill her. It seems to me, she’s all you have left.” He was being an evil jerk and he knew it, but that was who he had become. After the years of living in his own personal hell, after being rejected by his own family. He didn’t have a nice bone in his body, and he preferred it that way.

Walking over to the door, he lightly tapped his knuckles against the wood. “Just a chat, that’s a promise.” He spoke wanting her to open the door willingly.
Pippa listened to everything Tyler told her in silence, it would have been a lot to take in if she hadn’t of already been a witch and a vampire. “I don’t even know what to say…” She looked at him, their friends had been through hell and yet all of them had survived. Reaching out, Pippa took Tyler’s hand into her own and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

“And I thought I went through a lot,” Compared to what Tyler and their friends had gone through, Pippa felt like her life was a breeze. “I’m sorry you went through all of that, and that I wasn’t around. I never wanted to leave, I always begged my parents to go back home. They just said it was too dangerous,” Pippa hated that she hadn’t been there for Tyler, to support him triggering his werewolf gene and becoming a hybrid and then becoming human again.

“If it counts, I’m here now.” Pippa hoped that was enough, and that it wasn’t too late. They had grown up and changed in so many ways, she hoped he still cared about her and wanted her back in his life. If he didn’t… she didn’t know if she could handle that, if she’d be okay with that.

Tyler smiled at the brunette. "It does, it counts!"even with everything going on having Pippa there with him everything seemed to feel alright. "Hey there is nothing you could do to change what your parents had decided on. As much as neither one of us wanted it to happen it happened and if I am being completely honest I liked the fact that you weren't in Mystic Falls with everything that has been going on. Purely because I am not sure I would have been able to protect you."

He paused, "But you are here now and we need to celebrate! Tonight we should go to a bar! Have a drink. You are eighteen right?" he thought perhaps if they were going out he could ask some of the others, he knew everyone needed a night off and a night at a bar sounded like a good idea.
Rage surged through Mirah when she heard the male threaten her friend. Grabbing the nearest thing, a bottle she smashed it across the wall ripping the door open and grabbing the male pulling him in with lightening speed pressing the serrated glass against his jugular.

"If you ever threaten Pippa again I will fucking kill you!" and to prove a point she pressed the glass into his neck so a streamer of blood flowed down the column of his neck before she let go of him and threw him away from her. She could feel that her fangs had elongated and the veins around her eyes were visible but she didn't care. She was going to show him how scary she could be. She had been around for years and dealt with many people. She could make his death look like an accident.
