Diana had come along way from Themyscira to man's world. She's seen the darkness in the light that they love on. The horrors of what they do to each other, she walked away from a century of horrors. Only to come back when the world needed her most. Now she was sitting in her office in Paris thinking about a proposal by some man named Philip Coulson. The only reason Diana was even considering this mission was because of her trust in Bruce Wayne, he had told this guy she was the best in combat and fighter of the Justice League, "I'll be there as soon as I can Mr. Coulson," she hung up and grabbed her luggage. Time to fly out to New York to meet this Steve Rogers. Apparently he was some legend, while she fought in World War 1 he fought in the second. He sounded like a good man.

Philip Coulson had just made his way to meet Captain America for a sit down to explain the next mission. "All right, Steve. This woman you're about to meet, she's real special. She grew up on in island of women warriors, she's a god like Thor. Only she's a better fighter, don't tell him I said that " he chuckled. "She grew up training all her life, and can take care of herself well, has a shield like you not that, it makes any difference and a sword. Also a lasso that can compel people to tell the truth, so she'll come in handy for interrogations... her name is Diana and she'll be your partner."

Steve nodded as he listened to Phil Coulson better explain his new mission with the new person. At first, he was a little unsure about this. Especially since this woman wasn't apart of the Avengers, however, he knew that it was a good thing to bring more people in like them to help protect the world. Taking notes about his new partner, Steve nodded. "Got it. Well I look forward to meeting her." He said as he picked up the file that Coulson gave him. "Well, Sir, I'll be sure to look over all of this. I'll keep you updated at the mission goes on, and if there is anything you need me to know, please let me know." He then got up from the table, grabbing the file. Once he was set, he nodded and shook Coulson's hand. "Well, Sir, I best be going." He then left, heading to his vehicle. Following the coordinates on the paper that Coulson gave him, Steve drove to where he would be meeting his new partner. Nervous, of course, hit him as he drove to the location. He was always a little nervous about things with changes, however, he was never against change. When he got the location, Steve looked around before walking inside knowing that his partner must be inside.

Kylie was sitting at her desk talking with Director Fury while Agent Coulson was out talking with Captain America. To this day, she was still a little surprised that she could call herself an agent of SHIELD. When everything with SHIELD went down, Kylie felt that her hopes and dreams of working for this organization would never happen. However, when she was approached by Agent Coulson himself to recruit her to be his assistant since he was taking on the position as Acting Director for SHIELD, Kylie knew that she couldn't say no. She had to take this opportunity, and there was no way of letting it go. Looking at the time, Kylie knew that Coulson had to be returning soon. Getting up from her desk, she started to get Coulson's dinner meal ready for the night. She knew exactly how he liked his meals cooked, and that was one thing she always made sure Coulson did...and that was to eat. He had a busy job, which is why Director Fury had Coulson recruit her as his personal assistant. "Well Director, I will be sure to have Director Coulson give you an update about Captain America the minute Steve is settled in with his new partner, and trust me, I think everything is going to work out."

Diana was a little skeptical as why she had agreed to work with new people. She has just gotten settled in with the Justice League, she loved everyone on that team and she didn't want to leave them, but she knew she was needed elsewhere at the moment. She hoped this Steve was as great as his reputation said, she arrived earlier than expected but took a seat, looking over the file. It was impressive, she wasn't impressed with the rest of the Avengers however. Compared to her team, they didn't seem to work well. Either way she wasn't going to make assumptions. Diana sat up straight while she waited for Steve, she looked up when she recognized the blond haired man. Standing up she gave a small smile, "nice to finally meet you, Steve. My name is Diana" she introduced herself.

Phil finished up giving Steve his assignment and his new partner file, he hoped that Diana would help Steve not just with work related things. He hoped Steve would come around more. Getting to his office Phil noticed his assistant Kylie , "how was your day? Productive I hope" he chuckled walking into his office. "Any news? How are our agents doing? I have a few new trainees that need trainers I'd like your input on who we should get?"

Steve looked directly at the woman the minute he noticed her. He nodded to her and gave her a small smile, being friendly. "Nice to finally meet you as well...Diana." He said, still keeping that smile on his face while looking at her. He looked around the place and then her. "Well, this is a nice place." He said, trying to create small talk. That was one thing tat Natasha had told. He needed to learn to make more small talk with people and all. So, that was one thing he was going to do with this mission. Since he was meeting a new person, he would work on his people skills and make more small talk, and even learn to interact better with people. "So..." He said, trying to kill the awkwardness. "What is the first thing we should go over?" He asked.

Kylie smiled and welcome Coulson back when he walked through the threshold of his office. "Very productive, Sir." She smiled as she leaned against his office. "The new agents are adjusting well. I've already started on that list of who we could get to train these new trainees. I know Natasha and Clint have already said they would be up for helping with the training." She smiled as she picked up the tablet and looked over the list. "Oh, and believe this or not, put Tony Stark said that he would be up for the task as well...I think he is only saying that because he overheard the conversation I was having with Clint, but that may be a good idea." She suggested. Even though she was just his assistant, Kylie knew that she would give Phil some suggestions once in a while.

Diana nodded and took a seat she could sense how awkward Steve was and she smiled widely. Thinking about how awkward she was, "yes, my friend owns this place figured I'd try it out" she chuckled. Diana tilted her head Wondering if he knew much about her, "so I suppose you know my background," she could only image what he thought about her. An Amazonian princess who wasn't afraid to fight for those who can't fight for themselves. Whose belief was love can conquer all.

Phil sat at his desk and watched Kylie, "good, well, I figured those two would be up to training new recruits. Ha! Tony train someone? That's hysterical" he thought it was funny that Tony would ask to train recruits. He didn't have any fighting skills, sure his intellect was something but he didn't have Natasha's parkour skills. "I don't know about stark being a trainer he's my exactly physically skilled," he chuckled,

Steve just nodded once more, listening to her talk. He couldn't figure it out, but there was something about her, that made him just want to get to know her a little bit more. Sure, he knew the background about her, but he wanted to get to know her personally. "Yes." He said when she asked him about what he knew with her background. "And I'm assuming the same goes with you on me." He quickly added as he looked to her. He was a super solder...a complete experiment in the 1940's...that ended up being a complete success. He looked around the room once more, then back at her, a soft smile still on his face, each time that he looked to her.

Kylie smirked, knowing that Phil would in find it comical that Tony wanted to help out. She laughed a little as she put her tablet back down on the table. "I figured you would get a nice little laugh at that, however, I thought I would just ask." She said with a sweet, sincere smile. Carefully watching Coulson, Kylie just knew he was tired. Walking over to him, Kylie slowly got behind him, removing his jacket. "Sir, you need to relax..and don't try to argue with me." She smirked as she began to slowly massage his shoulders, relaxing his always tight muscles.

Diana placed a loose strand of her hair behind the ear, "yes, I gotta say I'm quite impressed. I didn't think I'd meet someone so selfless. I left mankind for a century watched all the horrors, I wanted no part of it, sometimes I regret leaving my mother and the amazons. I'm glad I came though I seem to have left an impact on people."

Phil grinned, "I just can't wrap my head around that idea, Stark? Being a mentor to a young recruit . It's laughable" Phil let out a yawn and shook his head, "I'm fine, my well being comes last Kylie, "

Steve nodded, listening to her talk about her reasoning behind leaving and such. "Well believe it or not, there are still people out in the world who do know how to walk through life with a selfless act. Now, I will tell you it's rare that you'll find people like that, but it's out there." He said with a reassuring smile to her. "I know this world is constantly changing, nothing ever seems to stay the same anymore, which is whyI think people have a tendency to hold onto the past things. To know that they are some things that they can change, while other things must be left alone...regardless of what others around them might think or even say." He said. Steve felt like he was never really one to talk, and now here he was, feeling like he was almost rambling on about the world and it's changes. "And that's why people like you do make such an incredible impact on people. They see the hope, the want the hope, they get to understand the hope, and they want nothing more than to keep the hope." He smiled at her.

Kylie laughed lightly at his comment about Stark. "Yeah...that's the same thought that ran through my mind." She watched as her boss let out a yawn, knowing that his body was exhausted. When she heard his excuse, as she liked to call it, about his well being comes last, Kylie just shook her head in disagreement. "I don't know about that, Sir. As Acting Director of SHIELD, I would say your well being should be one of the first things to always keep an eye on. Which is why you have me." She reminded him as she led him to his office table where she had his dinner nice placed before him. "Keep telling yourself that...that's fine. But know, that I will continue to disagree with you." She smirked. Kylie had worked for Phil Coulson for a good year now, and in that year, she had come to grow really close to the older man. Some people even said that Coulson had a tendency to loosen up and be a little different when it came to Kylie; however, she didn't see it.
