Matt sighed as he sat in his car, staring at the school in front of him. It was the first day after Christmas break and he was ready to get back into the routine of teaching. His Christmas break had been complete shit in all honest. His girlfriend broke up with him the day before Christmas and he spent the rest of the time getting drunk with his friends. Matt got out of the car, grabbing his bag from the back of the car. He walked down the long hallway to his room, turning on the lights. He taught an English class which was surprisingly not too bad. A lot of the teachers complained about how bad the kids were but he never had a problem except for a random few. Maybe it was because he was different than the other teachers. He actually listened to the kids and didn’t just coast through his days. Matt sat down at his desk, staring at the picture on his desk of his girlfriend and himself. He grabbed it and shoved it in the desk draw. Matt rolled his sleeves down, hiding his tattoos. He thought it was a dumb policy, but they paid him so he dealt with it. Matt got up as the bell rang and he walked out into the hallway, leaning against his doorway. He looked at Mr. Carver across from him who was scanning the area. That guy was a weird one. He was always looking to put a kid in detention. Matt looked over as he spotted a few of his students and gave them a small smile.

Matt walked into his classroom once everyone was settled in. He shut his door, then looked at them. “Good morning class.” He said as he leaned against his desk. “So how was everyone’s break?” He asked, crossing his arms. He let his eyes scan the class, his eyes landing on Lexie Taylor. She had really changed over the last year. He could tell she was going through a rebellious phase. She had been annoying him all year. She was constantly getting in trouble. He looked at the rest of the students, “Did anyone actually do the reading that I assigned for your break?” He asked, smirking. He looked over at one of the girls who claimed she did. “Alright, well fill us in on what you read.” He urged her. He sighed when he heard Lexie and her friend say something and laughed. “Do you have a problem ladies?” He asked, looking at them. His eyes landed on Lexie, “Are we really going to start this first day back like this?” He asked them.

Luna smiled as she looked at the building in front of her. She couldn’t believe that she had actually gotten an internship in the music industry. She walked in, hoping that she looked okay. She really wanted to make it in the music world. Her parents were constantly telling her that it wasn’t worth it, but it was something that she loved so much. Luna looked over as she heard someone say her name. She seen a girl walking towards her. “Are you Emily?” She asked.

Emily nodded, “Yes I am. I’m going to be showing you around.” She said, as she started to lead Luna up to the floor she would be working on.

Luna did her best to pay attention to everything that Emily was saying. She looked over as she heard one of the doors open, seeing the boss walked out. Brian, she didn’t think she would ever actually meet him. Yet there is was a few feet in front of her.

Emily smiled, “Brian this is Luna. She is the new intern.” She introduced them.

Luna looked at him, “Hi, It’s really nice to meet you.” She said as she shook his hand. She couldn’t help but noticed how gorgeous he was.

Lexie adjusted her backpack strap on her shoulder. Smiling she took the blunt from her friends out stretched hand. Pulling in a lung full she felt the vile tasting drug kick back. Letting it out slowly she coughed a bit having held it to long in her lung. Sputtering she pasted the joint, yawning she felt glad to replenish her body with good clean air. Shuffling her feet she smiled watching as Tate pulled out some cologne. His body puffed up as he spurted the spray across his clothes, in hopes to mask the fact he'd just been getting high. Smirking she took it out of his hands, they were so used to sharing everything he just offered her as shrug. Showering her body in the mist she tossed it back to him. "Ready for Sanders' class?" She asked the girl to her right, smiling at Ally. She knew that they all hated the class, it was just the fact of subject. In fact Mr. Sanders was eye candy to them. Even though they'd been complete asses in his class, they still openly admitted his appearance effected them. "Awe lucky." Tate whined he more than the girls loved looking at Mr. Sanders. The girls found themselves using him as a fine point in laughing, normally the but of their jokes.

Chewing on her gum lightly she knew it wouldn't cover the fact she was high. She though ignored all the students looks as she made her way to her seat. Dropping down she place her feet in the seat in front of her. Her attention quickly finding Mr. Sanders. His body standing in the door way, her eyes traveled his body. It wasn't hard to see this man was fine. Listening to Mel pop of snide remarks about the students at the front of the class. She shifted her gaze toward the target of her friends hostility. Shaking her head she took in the perky girls obvious infatuation with Mr. Sanders. "Please Mr. Sanders fuck me." She acted out batting her lashes as she put words into the girls mouth. Lexie let out a laugh, shaking her head. Biting her lip she looked up at Mr. Sanders, his body towering over them.

"Yeah, I think we are." She told him honestly, she didn't know why teachers were so set on changing their behavior. Besides she loved challenging him.

Brian stacked a few more files to the pile, they were decent bands that needed to be check into. He just didn't have the time right now. He'd have to get back to them, closing another folder he let it slip through his fingers and fall into the trash. He wasn't all that interested in starting a country group. Hearing a slight commotion out side he grabbed the files before exiting his office. Pausing he blinked wondering who Emily was with and why they were on his floor. He didn't like being bothered, it was one reason he didn't have a secretary. "Luna pleasure." He smiled at her after being introduced to her.

"Emily file theses and make sure I have a link by the end of day." He handed her the files, before turning to head back into his office. Stopping he frowned looking at the two girls. "When did we start doing interns?" He questioned the woman, wondering why they would assume it was okay to do this with out his approval. Thinking over the documentation that grassed his deck, he didn't remember signing off on it. He'd have to go down to the hiring team and talk to them. He liked the idea of intern, it meant he didn't pay them. But he didn't think of those things to much since he was always busy with up rising artist. "Also make sure that the sound board in booth five is up and ready in thirty minutes I have a session to do today. That was his favorite part of the job. Helping young artiest become more. He entered his office before moving to his desk, grabbing his phone off the desk. Exiting the room again, he raise a brow noticing that Emily had Luna sitting at his 'secretaries' desk. It seemed him and the young beauty would be working closely together.

Matt frowned at the girls response and he just felt pissed off. He was pissed about his ex and honestly he was kind of hungover. “You know, since you love making rude remarks in my class you won’t mind spending extra time here then.” He said. “I will see you this afternoon in detention.” He said, staring at her. He wrote her name down then looked back at the girl up front. He looked over at one of the guys who said, damn really loud. Matt looked at him, “You want detention too?” He asked the boy. Matt usually didn’t bother with the nonsense. Who really wanted to stay late at this hell hole? He had plenty of spare time. “Abby go on.” He said, motioning to the girl. Matt was glad when the class finally ended. He sat at his desk and looked at Lexie, “Lexie come here.” He said. He looked at her as she walked over to his desk. He handed her a copy of her detention slip, knowing that it would end up in the trash anyway. “I will see you after school.” He said, staring at her. He would be lying if he was fighting looking her over. He stood up, looking down at her, “Oh and if I was you I would get yourself some eye drops.” He said, noticing how bloodshot her eyes were. He knew she was probably high. “Now go.” He said.

Luna smiled as she listened to Emily talk about what all there was to do. She was more excited now that she knew she would be working with Brian. She got up when Emily decided to go get things ready for Brian. Luna laughed with her new friend as they set up the sound board. She turned to leave with Emily and smacked into Brian, “Oh I’m sorry.” She said, looking up at him. She stepped back from him. She bit her bottom lip lightly, “Did you need anything before you start?” She asked him. She did want to be as helpful as possible. Luna wanted him to see that she was really interested in being part of the company. She wanted to prove to her parents that she did have a future in the music industry.

Lexie rolled her eyes at his tough guy act, she could careless if she had detention. It wasn't like she'd never had it before, Mr. Sanders just never gave it to her. "Is I just me or was that panty wetting?" Mel whispered, she didn't want to get detention because she was seeing her boyfriend tonight. "Fucking hot." Ally muttered, now they both were swooning. Once class had finally ended she slowly gathered her thing in no hurry to leave for her next class. Slinging her bag over her back she rolled her eyes as Sander called for her. "Don't choke." Ally said nudging her in the back a she walked out the door. Lexie's thought went over how they'd talked about Mr. Sanders have had a problem in class one day, morning wood could be a bitch. They'd gotten a good look at it though he tried to keep it hidden. Grabbing her slip from him she crumped it in her fist, before turning to leave. Hearing him call out about her eyes she turned before balling the slip up and throwing it into the trash near him. Rolling her eyes she gave him the finger, before exiting his class room. What could he really do give her detention, oh to late. "So how big is it?" Mel teased, smacking her on the back a she exited. "Fastest blow job ever." Ally added, causing the three of them to bust out laughing. Lexie knew it was all fun and games, but a part of her wondered just what it would feel like to sleep with a teacher.

Brian entered the room his eyes trailing over the two girls working. His brow raised quickly when he noticed the knew girl setting up the sound board like a pro. He wondered if this intern thing would really be a good thing. Moving into the room he placed his sheets down next to the chair, only to have Luna turn and smack him right in the chest. "It's fine, you okay?" He asked ignoring her questioned about helping him. He rather work alone, but she shown promise in making herself a name amongst the company. "Have you done this type of work before?" He asked motioning to the sound board, wondering what really made her qualified to work here.

Matt sighed as he waited for his next class to get in their seats. He was honestly glad when the day was pretty much over. He just had to deal with detention and he could go home. Matt sat at his desk looking over some papers as he waited for the students to sit down. He looked up as he heard the sound of a bag being dropped on the floor. He knew it was his feisty Lexie. He looked at her for a moment, then shook his head and went back to grading some papers. He did kind of feel bad for snapping at her earlier. He knew he should not have taken his anger out on her. Once detention was over he leaned back in his chair before he got to his feet. He looked at Lexie, “Lexie can I talk to you for a second?” He asked her. He didn’t know why he was feeling so bad about being mean to her.

Luna looked at him, “A little bit. My uncle use to own a recording studio. Nothing compared to this of course.” She said, smiling at him. It was truly amazing what Brian had built. She couldn’t believe that she actually had a chance to work somewhere like this. Luna looked over as Emily sat in one of the chairs. “She is being modest Brian. She is way more into music and this job than anyone else we have had.” She said. Luna looked over at Emily, not believing that she was telling Brian that. She was planning to get use to the place before she stared really getting to do things. Working with Brian would make her nervous and she was terrified she that she would mess something up.

Lexie tapped her fingers gently against her desk, detention was boring. She knew it was suppose to be a form of punishment, but it acted as a time for her to think. She would have been reading but they didn't allow anything. Kids basically had to sit in a chair for thirty minutes or an hour, depending on the time given by the teacher. Since it wasn't a study hall, and it wasn't social hour, it was sheer boredom. And honestly she was surprised at how many people were here one the first day back from Christmas break. She'd actually had a decent time on her break, though her family seemed to think it was the perfect time to take a trip. So they all managed to have a happy family trip. Which was unusual since her mother drank too much and her father was a workaholic. Though she was happy to be back at school, it provided her an escape from all the tension in the air, not to mention she missed her friends and the hell they raised. Hearing shuffling of feet she knew detention was over, grabbing her things she nibbled on her lip, before a sigh fell from it. "Yes sir?" She said sweetly approaching Mr. Sanders, she'd been reading Fifty Shade serious and she wondered if he had a kinky fetus he had. Grabbing the strap of her bag she looked at him, wondering why he was bothering her right now. She arched a brow, maybe he was going to get on to her for flipping him off earlier.

Brian nodded he wasn't one to lose focus of task at hand, and he'd let himself get distracted by them for far to long. "Emily have you gotten to those files yet?" He asked just wanting her to leave, he knew that Luna was shadowing her. It was a pity, he tolerated Emily for her work skills, but she was completely annoying. "I'll need them once I'm done here." He knew it could takes hours if not all day, but he wanted her out of his hair. Watching as they moved to leave, "Luna you can stay." He informed her. He didn't like people in the booth with him but still she was an intern here to learn. So who was she going to learn from that will benefit a career, him. She didn't want to be a secretary which was exactly what Emily was. "Close the door though." He said making himself comfortable in his chair, waiting on the talent to arrive. They'd be finishing a track they've been working on for days. He wouldn't go home until it was finalized for production.

Matt looked at Lexie, "I just wanted to apologize for the way i treated you in class." He said. "I am going through some stuff and I overreacted." He explained. He watched her for a moment, "I have something for you though. You have that book report due in two weeks and i know you probably planned on not doing it. However, I figured you would like this book." He said, as he pulled a book from his desk. "Its not on the reading list but you will love it. Its my personal copy so dont lose it okay?" he said smiling at her. It was a book that he had always liked. He felt like Lexie was just a lost teenager and he remembered feeling like that. "If you want you can come by after school and discuss the book." He offered.

Luna was shocked when she heard Brian ask her to stay behind. Emily looked a little unhappy but Luna didnt care about that. "Seriously?" She asked happily. "This is so great thank you." She said as she sat next to him after she closed the door. She looked over at him as they waited for the band. "So, what exactly are you working on? If you dont mind me asking that is." She said smiling at him. She was so excited and grateful for this opportunity. Having Brian ask her to help him out made her even more hopeful. Luna looked at him, "Really though, thank you so much for this. It means a lot." She said.

Furrowing her brow she looked over the book he was offering her, she didn't get it. Why was he acting this way. She knew teachers were suppose to be mentor and give guidance when needed but she wasn't looking of it. "Look I don't need your book." She shook her head not caring if he was being nice or not. "I prefer teacher to show dominance, and not be a push over." She informed him, "it make it that much funner." She smirked at him, using improper English just to irritate him. She didn't know why he was being this way, it was like he was trying to change her. And even if she wasn't the prefect student she still did what she needed to pass. And she knew that if she wanted to move out of her parent house before she turned 18 then she had to graduate. Right now English was the only class she needed to graduate. So she didn't plan on making a splash and doing the work. She'd make sure that she passed and that didn't mean she was going to change anything. Nibbling on her lip she stared at him, wondering if that was all he was going to say or if she could leave. She didn't plan on staying any longer in this hell hole then she had to.

Brian turned to his task of setting up the recording devices. "Hush." He told her, he didn't like when people treated him like he was something special. He was just a normal man that worked hard for his. He didn't want to be treated any differently. It was one of the reason he couldn't stand Emily, she was all for money. Shaking his thoughts out of his head. "Listen I don't need thanks, all I need is for you to be quite and listen to me." He informed her, he sounded like an ass, but he got the job done with no ideal chatter. Turning he offered her a smile. He worked alone for the same reason he didn't like people talking. "Benji." He greeted his friend as he enter the room, standing he gave him a proper greeting along with the other members. He could tell the words he was saying was lost on them their attention was to the beauty sitting behind him. "Guys." He called to them, before gesturing behind him. "This is Luna she's our new intern she'll be sitting in today." He informed them. Before moving to sit in his seat, he listened to them greet her and talk a bit. "Benji you're up buddy." He inform them, hoping to cut the ideal chatter.

Matt sighed when she said she didn’t want his book. He assumed that she would probably turn him down. He tossed it onto his desk. “Fine. I guess I will see you tomorrow then.” He said. He turned away from her, “Stubborn as always.” He muttered under his breath as he gathered his things. He looked over at her, his eyes moving over her body. He grabbed his bag and keys, walking out of the room with her. He shut the lights off and locked his door. “You do know that being nice to people isn’t going to kill you right?” He told her as they walked down the hallway. He didn’t understand why he wanted to be around her so badly. He frowned as they walked out and he seen that Lexie’s ride wasn’t there. “Do you need a ride?” He asked, as he unlocked his car door. He wasn’t sure if she would accept it, but he felt the need to ask. Plus, he would get to hang out with her more. He caught himself looking at her again and he realized that the thoughts he was having about her were wrong.

Luna bit her bottom lip lightly when he told her to be quiet. She looked over as the guys walked in and felt them watching her. Luna smiled as the guys introduced themselves to her and she shook their hands. She watched as Brian sat back down then looked at Benji as he got ready. Luna was pretty excited to spend her day doing this. At least she wouldn’t be organizing papers all day long. Luna ran her fingers through her hair, understanding that Brian pretty much wanted her to speak when spoken too. She watched him as he worked, seeing how happy it made him to help these guys.

Lexie looked over at Mr. Sanders her eyes scanning his face she wondered if she'd grown an extra head. "I don't know it pains me right here." She said placing her hand over her heart, being her usually smartass self. She knew that it wasn't nice, but he wasn't her friend. He was a hot ass teacher, that was it. Nibbling on her lip she exited the building she was unsure what everyone else was doing since she was in detention. Pulling her phone from her pocket she snapped her head up at his offer. "Huh?" She questioned him, caught completely off guard. Where the hell did that come from, her mind wasn't thinking over how wrong it was for a teacher to offer a ride to a student. Her deer in the headlight look splayed on her face, as her mind ran over the thoughts of needing a ride from Mr. Sanders, well her riding Mr. Sanders. Blinking she composed herself, before looking down at her phone. A soft blush finding it way on to her cheeks. "Uhm, I think I'll pass." She said, before clearing her throat. Opening her text she seen she had a few missed ones from her friends. Most of them however were dirty things she could do to and for Mr. Sanders. It made the situation she was in a little worse. Shoving her phone in her pocket she took off down the side walk, heading towards her house. She was used to walking, really that's all her and her friends did was walk and get high.

Brian sat back in his chair listening as Billy finished up his set, he knew that the guys put most of their stuff together before it ever reached him. He just had to find the thing that made it better. "Alright guys, why don't you call it a night?" He offered to let them cut out and go home to their families. He knew his work was far from over. He really meant it when he said he was going to stay until it was done. Turning to his computer he started stacking the music together, hoping he could at least her a full piece. Something that he could work with, tomorrow they could lay down anything extra he needed. But right now he was focused on just putting it together to listen to it. "And here's what we've got." He turned to Luna, the music soon exited the speakers in the room. Engulfing the two of them in a brand new song.

Matt nodded, “Alright, have a nice night.” He said. He got in his car and sighed as he drove to his apartment. He walked inside, frowning at the silence. He threw his keys down then got himself a beer and sat down on the couch. He ended up drinking til he passed out and woke up later in the morning. He looked at his phone, seeing that he was late for work. “Shit.” He said, getting up. He took a quick shower and got dressed before he headed to the school.

Matt walked down the hallway and opened the door, smirking when he seen one of the teachers that had a free period covering for him. “Sorry.” He said, setting his things down. At least he didn’t miss all of first period. “Go on.” He urged her so he could get his stuff set down. Matt sat in his chair for the rest of the period watching as the woman finished the lesson she started with the kids. He looked up, his eyes meeting Lexie’s. Why was she suddenly so appealing to him. Maybe it was because even though she had that rebel attitude he knew that she was innocent.

Luna watched as he worked on his computer, then smiled as he played the song for them. “Wow, this is really good.” She said, looking at him. “I like it.” She said. It had always amazed her how music was put together. She looked behind her when their was a knock on the door. She seen Emily when the door was opened. “I’m going home.” She told Brian. “I closed everything up.” Emily assured him. Luna looked at her phone, “Is it really that late?” She asked, laughing softly. She didn’t realize she had been in that room with Brian for so long. She looked at Brian, not wanting the day to end. Though, she did get to spend most days with him. If that was what he was going to have her do. She looked over as Emily as Brian if he needed anything before she left.

Lexie made it home later than she normally would have. She decided that making a stop at the park and reading would suit her better than dealing with her family. She knew her sister had her first day at work and really though she loved her sister she didn't want to hear it right now. Sneaking into the house she made her way up stairs, she decided a shower was the best option before bed. She then cuddled up, slowly drifting to sleep, not even thinking over the missed meal, again.

The next morning came sooner than she'd had like, but it wasn't going to wait for her sake. Getting dressed she left the house. Moving through her yard she hoped into the awaiting ride. Mel throwing her a smirk, before a muffin landed in her lap. Smiling she opened it before starting to eat it. They normally chilled out next to the cars getting high, but Mr. Carver had made his presence known before a blunt could be pulled out. Nibbling on her lip she grudgingly made her way to Mr. Sanders room. She knew that there would be sexually remarks on her friends behalves once they seen the man. But they couldn't keep their teenage hormones under control. "Class, sit down." Said Miss Bartly. "Where's Mr. Sanders?" A few people asked, it wasn't like him to miss work. It was enough to have Lexie curious too, even if she was a bitch and a smartass to him, he was her teacher.

They'd sat listening over what this woman had to say. "Excuse me Miss Bartly?" Lexie said cutting her off, she didn't like the woman and she was teaching them grade school English. "Um Mr. Sanders was teaching real English not this shit." She said, it made her feel like the woman was calling them stupid, and that didn't set well with her. "Well Miss. Taylor." She said browsing over a list to figure out her name, "you just earned yourself detention." She said, before writing her a slip and placing it on her desk, as she continued. Rolling her eyes Lexie looked up as the door opened. Mr. Sanders walking in causally. He didn't seem like he was in the mood to deal with life, he even allowed the bitch that gave her detention to continue. Nibbling on her lip she looked up catching Mr. Sanders eyes, tilting her head she couldn't help but wonder why he was staring at her. A large sigh left her mouth when the bell rang. Finally the tyrant shut up.

Matt pretty much coasted his way through the rest of the day and when his last class ended he started to put his things away. He rolled his sleeves up on his shirt and sighed when he heard his classroom door open. He turned surprised to see Lexie standing there, “Lexie, what are you doing here?” He asked. He nodded when she said that Miss. Bartley had given her detention. “Of course she did.” He said. He sat down, “Alright well have a seat.” He said. He sat there for a moment then looked at his phone. He looked over at her smirking at the empty desk that surrounded her. “Do you ever get tired of getting in trouble?” He asked as he set his phone on his desk. “Surely there is something else you would rather be doing than staring at me every afternoon.” He said, smiling. He couldn’t help but smile as he looked at her. She just looked so alone in that seat. “What did you do anyway?” He asked. He usually wasn’t this talkative, but he wanted to go home and this would make the time go by faster

Brian rolled his eyes at the intrusion, he knew it was Emily, at least this time she knocked. Waving her off he ignored her knowing it was the best option to get her to go away. "Well be leaving shortly." He said knowing she would want to see Luna out, "goodnight Emily." He told her almost as if his words were finally. Waiting for her to exit. He turned back to Luna. "Okay so you liked what you heard?" He asked her before standing he moved around the room. "Okay what I heard had been done before. What can make this better and unique?" He asked, before moving back to the board and pressing play. "Listen closely." He instructed her. Standing there he let his eyes close and the music come to him, thinking over everything that could make this a chart topper. Once the song ended her looked at her. "I want you to think about it, tell me tomorrow what can make this better." He instructed her, it was like he was giving her homework. But if she failed he'd have no more use for her in this room.

Lexie dropped down into a seat, placing her bag at her feet. Before she looked up at Matt. "Not really, it's not like it's going to leave a permanent record." She shrugged, kicking back in her chair. Nibbling on her lip she chose to ignore his comment about spending time looking at him. How could she not want to look at him he was gorgeous. Chuckling she smirked. "I told her her lesson was shit." She informed him, knowing those weren't her turn words. But she wouldn't tell him she'd defended his lesson planning. She paid attention, though she didn't want him to know that.

[That's okay! I assumed that was what happened.]

Luna looked at him, then listened to the song closely. She looked at him when he asked her to come back tomorrow with a decision on how to make the song better. “Um…okay.” She said. She would really have to give it some thought but she liked the idea of it. She got to her feet as they got their stuff. Luna grabbed her back and walked out of the building with him. “Thanks for today.” She said, smiling, “I will see you tomorrow. Goodnight.” She said before she left him and headed home.

The next morning Luna got dressed then grabbed her things. She was so excited to get back to Brian. Sure he had told her to pick out something about the song that needed changed but the more Luna thought about it she came up with a few things. She walked in and was surprised when Emily popped up in front of her. “Oh hey.” She said smiling at the girl.
Emily looked at her, “So I have more to show you.” She said.

Luna looked over as Brian walked out of his office, “Actually I have to give some things to Brian.” She said smiling. She moved away from the girl and caught up to him, “So I know you said to figure out something to change about that song, but I kind of had a few idea that would make it better.” She said, looking up at him. “Can I hear the song one more time?” She asked him. Once they listening to the song, Luna looked at him, “I honestly would pick up the tempo a little bit and your reverberation is kind of off right about here.” She said as she moved towards his computer. “Do you mind?” She asked him, moving the song to where the mistake was. She honestly didn’t know how she managed to remember something like that, but she did. She stepped back from him, “So how did I do?” She asked him.

Matt nodded, “Yea her lesson kind of sucked. I guess next time I should be late.” He said as he got up and walked over to the window. He looked out the window then looked back at her, “Did you start you book report yet?” He asked her. He knew that most of his class was dreading doing that assignment. He walked over to her and looked at the book she had in front of her. “You are really reading this crap?” He asked, holding up the fifty shades of grey book. He chuckled and set it back down. “You are going to hate it.” He said as he sat down in the chair next to her. He looked her over for a moment, “You don’t really seem like the kind of person who would like that book.” He said. He liked being able to talk to her like she was a person and not his student. He let his hand rest on the desk beside of him, “Be honest though, do you like my class?” He asked her. He really was curious to know if he was making a difference in his students lives.

Brian stepped from his office with plans of making it down to marketing. He needed to go over a few album covers and decided which would best benefit the company. He took a sip of his coffee when he was met with Luna. Hearing her not even come up for air when talking he could tell she was excited. "Okay." He said agreeing to let her listen to the song again. Moving back to the room he placed himself down in his chair, and opened the file back up. Listening to the song he knew where he'd made mistakes he'd done it to test her. Yesterday while everything was going on she'd still remained level headed and done what needed to be done. He turned his attention back to the computer screen when she started pointing things out, though he made no move to correct them. When she however leaned over him he was a bit shocked. His couldn't help but let his eyes rake over her body. Nibbling on his lip as her skirt hitched higher up her thighs. Closing his eyes he knew that he had to keep his mind from going there. Yes she was attractive but he couldn't get involved with her. Not when it was building her career, it would only jeopardies that and he wanted no part in destroying someone future due to stupidity. "Very good." He said clearing his throat before sitting forward, he pressed play. Letting the music play over the speakers. She'd corrected all the problems with the track. But something still felt off to him. "You cleaned it up very well." He smirked at her, "though it's still missing something." He wasn't sure what. "I was up thinking about it last night too." He informed her, "I was thinking that an orchestra would be too strong for it." He shook his head. "But the beginning is just throwing everything off."

Lexie scoffed hearing Matt ask about her book report. Shaking her head she knew that he knew he shouldn't have to ask. She watched as he picked up her book. "You've read fifty shades?" She quirked an eyebrow at him, biting on her lip. It would surprise her since all it did was turn her on. It was one of the many reason she never read it in school or at home. She'd find a nice quite play to let her imagination roam. The one time she had sex, the guy wasn't anything like Christian. Though he did really ruin her for any other guy. The thought of sex with some high school boy didn't appease her. She honestly hadn't ever really looked at a guy other than Mr. Sanders with want. But who couldn't want him. His tattoos and those dimples, and tattoos. "They're actually my sisters, and I like reading so I figured I'd give it a try." She informed him, knowing that he'd asked so she'd tell. "I hate school period what make you think I'd like your class?" She asked him, shaking his head. "Honestly." She told him knowing that she was the wrong person to come to if he was looking for pick me ups. She sucked at giving advice.

Luna smiled when he told her she did a good job. She listened to him as he talked about the changes he wanted to make. She sat in the chair next to him, crossing her legs, causing her skirt to move up her thighs some, “I hear what you are talking about though. It really does throw it off.” She said, watching him. She thought for a moment, “Maybe tone it back some so it’s fainter, but still give that vibe?” She suggested. “You are the expert though, so you make the final decision.” She said, laughing softly. Luna liked being able to give her opinions and have them be taken seriously. She sighed when she heard a familiar knock on the door, “I think your friend needs you.” She teased him. She looked behind them as Emily opened the door. Luna could tell that Emily didn’t like the idea of Luna spending so much time alone with Brian. Luna leaned back against her chair, listening to Emily as Brian if he needed anything. Once Emily was gone Luna looked at Brian, "I think she likes you." She teased him. She could tell Brian wasn't interested in Emily. She was more of a nuisance.

Matt smiled, “I pretty much read anything that becomes really popular. Just in case it comes up in a discussion.” He said. “Do you like it so far?” He asked her. He could help but let his eyes glance over her body. He listened to her talk about what she liked about the book, “What is your favorite part?” He asked. He couldn’t hide the lust that filled his eyes as she talked about one of the sex scenes. He wanted her really bad and before he knew it he was leaning in and placing his hands on her cheeks. His lips pressed against hers as his fingers ran through her blonde hair. Matt moved closer to her, kissing her roughly. He pulled away and stared at her, “I…I’m sorry. That was a bad idea.” He said, getting to his feet. “You should go.” He said, sliding her book to her. He didn’t even want to think about what would have happened if someone walked in. He watched her, his eyes once again roaming her body.

Brian followed Luna's every word, he enjoyed the fact she could speak his language. He couldn't help but let his eyes draw attention to her body. Ever small movement she made cause her short skirt to rise. Part of him wanted to fuck her right her on the sound board, but he knew it was to expensive and he didn't want a lawsuit. He Listened to Emily coming and going, not liking to be bother and she knew it. "She's only acting this way because I'm in here with you." He told her locking his eyes with hers'. He shook his head. "I'm not interested in her." He added, before correcting something else on the computer. The way he talk it was as if he was expecting her to read between the lines. He knew that he would come out an tell someone he wanted them. He did it loads of times. But he knew that at work their was a fine line and he's never crossed it. "Okay." Moving away from the computer her motioned for her to follow him. "That's enough of that for now." It wasn't done but he figured that he'd give her a better tour of his job than Emily could. He quickly moved to the elevator. Stepping into it he pressed the third floor where marketing was. Licking over his lips he looked at her out of the corner of his eyes. Elevators always made things feel so personal. Or it was to him, he didn't like being in there alone with her, it made him feel like the tension was growing. Though he was glad she was keeping quite.

Lexie didn't know what happened, one moment she was talking about a book and the next his lips were on hers. They felt so good, it was like it set a fire to her lips that had slowly crept down her body. When he pulled back thought it was when reality hit. He shouldn't have done that. She didn't know what hurt more, the fact he pushed her away or regretted ever kissing her. Grabbing her things she left the room. Moving through the halls ways she didn't know where her feet were carrying her, she just knew the moment the cool air hit her face she was out side. "Hey dude, took you long enough." Mel said, lifting her eyes she noticed her friends were chilling next to the building and of course they were getting high. "Let me get a hit." She said, hoping they wouldn't mind her cutting in. Taking the offered blunt she pulled in a huge lung full, holding it in before slowly letting it out. "My friend I've miss you." She said before taking another hit, then passing it off. She was just glad none of them asked her what was wrong, they played it off as she'd had an hours worth of detention. "You got math homework done?" Tate's voice asked the ground. "Fuck no," Lexie let out knowing all her homework was piling up. But she didn't care, Matt had just kissed her. Her mind kept replaying it over and over. A dopy smile played on her lips as she thought over it, knowing that they wouldn't think anything of it but her being high.

Luna nodded when he said that he wasn’t interested in Emily. A part of her was really glad that he didn’t like Emily. Luna got up and followed him out of the room and into the elevator. She watched as he pushed the button for the third floor and didn’t say anything for a few moments, “Where are we going?” She asked him as she looked over at him. She bit her bottom lip lightly when she realized that he was watching her. Luna would make a mental note that she could get him worked up with just her simple presence. She couldn’t believe how long it felt like they were in that elevator. She heard the ding and watched as the doors opened. “Um…besides recording what else do you do?” She asked as they walked. She didn’t want to overwhelm him with questions, but she was also curious. “If I am asking too many questions just say so.” She said, smiling.

Matt gathered his things and quickly left his classroom. He went to his car, before he went home. He didn’t know what he was thinking when he kissed her. The worst part was that he really wanted to kiss her again and have her to himself. He walked into his apartment, groaning as he sat on the couch. He ran his hands over his face.

The next morning Matt walked into his classroom and set his things down. He sat down in his chair and stared at the stack of graded papers in front of him. He knew seeing Lexie today was going to be so weird. He heard the first bell and looked up as everyone came in. His eyes drifted to Lexie as she walked in with her friend. Matt got to his feet, “Alright class I have your test from the other day ready.” He said as he walked through the aisles and handed them their papers. He walked back and leaned against his desk, “Does anyone have questions about their test?” He asked them.
