It was Matt's idea to take a drive to Vegas after everything that happened with Gena. He invited the rest of the guys but they all had plans so it was just Matt and I making the road trip to the City of Sin. I was anxious to get there, just cause I really needed to piss and Matt insisted on driving all the way through with no stops.

Once we got there, we found a gas station to fill up the tank and I managed to get my piss break and we grabbed a couple bags of chips. We still had a little bit of driving to do before we got to the hotel but at least my bladder was empty and my belly could be full on two bags of Doritos.

My parents had left me in charge of running the front desk of the hotel they both owned and managed. They had some business trip in Seattle so they were going to be gone for a week. I generally didn't mind helping my parents out but I was a little irritated this time. I had plans to go to a couple of music festivals with some friends and they sprang this on me at the last minute so I had to cancel.

So, while my friends got to go have fun and drink and listen to great music, I was stuck in a stuffy hotel checking the most rudest of people in and out for seven days. My life fucking sucked. I was glad about one thing though, today hadn't been that busy so I mostly sat around on my phone, watching Snapchat videos of my friends having fun and scrolling through Instagram.

I had been so lost in my phone that I jumped slightly when someone rang the little bell on the desk. I quickly put my phone away and looked up seeing two heavily tattooed men who looked oddly familiar but I couldn't pin point it. "Hello, how may I help you?" I asked, using the same greeting my father used.

Stepping from the car, my hands moved down smoothing out the fabric of my skirt. It had been a while since I've had to attend a company dinner. I was never one to be pick from the horde of employees to represent the company. It'd been a shook to see that after six months with this new company they'd taken to my hard work and promoted me. I knew it was just until my boss came back from medical leave, but really way couldn't I just enjoy it. Stepping into the restaurant I gave my name to the hostess, she looked me over before turning and leading the way to the reserved table. Normally looks like hers wouldn't have bothered me, but to night I felt like she was doubting my ability to assert myself in the company. It was hard enough to be a woman in a mans' world. Nibbling on my lip I greeted Mr. Fow, he was a leading marketer for our company. He and I's job to night was to ensure that Global Economic signed with our company. Greeting the rest of the table I placed myself down next to Mr. Fow's wife. It was going to be a long night for me, but I knew once this was done I had the entire weekend to take a break. And what else way to spend it by being in Vegas, all expenses paid. Tonight was a night to celebrate or get drunk pending my termination. Either way I was excited to be here and needed to party.

Placing my hand on the counter I smiled at the woman before me. It wasn't the normal place we stayed, but Zack and I agreed that being seen wasn't what we wanted. So here we were checking into a less conspicuous hotel. "Hey love I need two rooms." I beamed at the beauty, she was already staring. My tattoos did that to everyone, it long ago stop getting on my nerves. "Can we have kings size beds?" Zacky threw in. Smirking I turned to look at my friend, it hadn't even been five minutes into the trip and he was already planning on spending the night fucking someone. He just hoped he'd be smart this time, last time him and Brian streaked through town. Talk about damage control, it was the worst thing his PR's had to deal with. Shaking the thoughts from his head he turned his attention back to the woman in front of him before pulling out his wallet, he'd already hit up an ATM. He was paying cash no one would find out they were here tonight.

I stood next to Matt as he asked the dark haired beauty behind the counter for two rooms. I made sure to throw in king size beds. I was going to find a hot chick and bring her back to the hotel tonight. The girl behind the counter smiled and turned to get us two keys. I caught Matt looking at her and raised an eyebrow.

"How long will you guys be staying?" I asked the two of them as I grabbed the book to write down the keys. "A few days, we really didn't figure out when we'd be going home...it was a spur of the moment trip." Zacky said. I nodded and placed the two keys on the counter. "It will be $95 a night...that's why I asked." I said.

Smiling at Mr. Fow she shook his hand before exiting the restaurant. The night had been a success, she knew that a bonus would be added to her check unless she went crazy tonight. "You have a nice night." She informed him, knowing he was headed for a flight. She'd opted to stay just for the hell of it. Getting into the rental she headed back toward her hotel, she didn't know what her thoughts on the night were. She had no idea where to go or what she could possible do.

Smiling as she gave me our keys I handed one to Zack, "thanks." I told her before adding a wink. She really seemed like a chill chick, she didn't fan girl out so that was a plus. Biting down on my lip I turned and headed towards the elevator planning on dropping my stuff off, before maybe hitting the pool. It was still early that drinking wasn't going to happen. "Care to do a couple laps in the pool?" I asked Zacky, watching as he messed around on his phone. Rolling my eye I knew it was more than likely to see if Gena had texted him. Knowing I needed to check my phone too or Katy would have my balls in a vase. But really tonight wasn't about her it was about me.

I looked up from my phone, "sorry, was checking texts...sure, if you want." I said, getting into the elevator with him. I decided to ask a question that I had been itching to know the answer to for a while. "Hey, is there something going on with you and Katy? I noticed you checking out the girl back there..." I said, trying not to stumble over my words. It wasn't really my business to being with but Matt was my best friend and if there was something going on with him and his lady, for him to be checking out another girl, I was curious to know.

I sighed as they walked off. I went back to my phone, going to Google. They looked oddly familiar and I knew I had seen them somewhere before, but I just couldn't pin point it. It was going to drive me crazy until I did. It was obvious they were in a band so I just started typing stuff in Google. I gasped, my eyes going wide, when I found what I was looking for. "No fucking way..." I breathed out. I couldn't believe I had just met two of the members from Avenged Sevenfold. Maybe it was a good idea I took over for my parents this week.

Smiling at the girl behind the counter, sending a small wave her way before heading to the elevator. I needed to stop by my room first and leave all my stuff from dinner in there. It wasn't much but losing it wasn't an option. Entering the elevator I press the floor number before heading up to my room.

Frowning over at Zacky, before shaking my head. "I can look as long as I don't touch." I told my friend, not wanting to admit the thoughts that were actually driving this trip. Quickly pulling out my phone I texted Katy letting her know I made it safely. "Okay, so this is about us and getting so peace and quiet while we get plastered, right?" I asked him. "So how about this we leave our phone in the rooms, no distraction from home." I offered, it wasn't like everyone wasn't an adult and couldn't take care of themselves. When in fact I worried more for myself and Zacky then people back home.

I sighed but nodded. "Alright, deal." I said. Once the elevator stopped at our floor, I realized our rooms were three doors down from each other. "Hey, at least if one of us brings a girl in with us, we won't be able to hear the other one getting it on." I teased Matt as I walked down to my room. "Give me like five, maybe ten minutes, and I'll be ready to head to the pool." I said, unlocking my door.

Once it had died down a bit, and the other person who would be taking over for the rest of the night, came in, I decided to go change into my bathing suit and take a dip in the pool. The best part about my parents owning this place was that I got to use the pool and the gym for free. I lived right across the street, literally, so I would come over sometimes just to go swimming or workout, even when my parents weren't working. I headed home really quick to change into my swimsuit. I threw my hair up into a messy bun and pulled on a long black shirt that I used as a coverall and grabbed everything else I needed before heading back across the street.

Scrolling through my phone I called my boss, I knew Mr. Fow would have already reached out. But I still needed to give a report since I wouldn't be returning to work till after the weekend. The call lasted longer then I'd have liked, it took the entire elevator ride up and I even paced the floor for about two minutes. The details he wanted were pointless. Shrugging off my blazer I nodded listening to the talk over the phone. Even though he couldn't see me I still felt the need to listen and nod, habit. Digging the room key out of my blaze pocket, pausing to listen to him babble on about useless information. "Okay you to sir, good night." Hanging up, I turned about to unlock my door when motion caught my attention. The door at the other end of the hall way opened and a guy covered in tattoos stepped out. Board shorts sitting low on his hips while he cradled a towel under his arm. Licking over my lips I adverted my attention not wanting him to catch me staring. Using my key to open the door I softly cursed when the paper work I'd been holding slipped from its folder and littered the floor. Quickly bending down to collect them.

Furrowing my brows at my friend before entering my room. He did just realize that he basically told me that if I cheated he'd be cool with it. Shaking the thought from my head, I wasn't looking to cheat. I just wanted to get away and clear my head. Katy had been acting weird, it started long after she moved in, it was like after tours I'd notice the behavior then a few week things were back to normally. It was like she was cheating, but I had no proof. I didn't want to tell the guys but it made me wonder what really was going on. So this time when I left I left cameras, I know that I was paranoid. But I'd been burned too many times by women wanting money. I just needed some clarity. If she wasn't cheating I'd come clean and ask for her forgiveness. But I rarely am wrong.

I put my things on the bed, not bothering to really unpack right now, and plugged my phone into the charger. I changed into my swim shorts before slipping my flip flops on and grabbing a towel. I made sure to have my key with me as I walked out of the room. I noticed a rather beautiful girl looking at me. I smiled a little as she tried to open her door. The papers she was holding under her arm fell to the floor, scattering around her. I quickly walked over to help her pick them up. I gathered some as we both stood up and I handed them to her. "I think you dropped these." I said, flashing her a smile.

I was glad there wasn't many people in the pool, in fact, the last family was just leaving as I came in. Good, I loved having the pool to myself. As I sat my towel on one of the chairs, I took my flip flops and shirt off, folding the shirt and laying it beside the towel. As I got in the water I started thinking about how M.Shadows and Zacky Vengeance was in the same hotel that I was in. I wasn't going to act like a total fan girl though, even though I did really enjoy their music.

Grasping the papers I had in my hands I stood up, lifting my gaze I froze. "Thank you." I smiled trying my best to spit out my thanks. The man before me was breath taking, his tattoos, those eyes. He eyes deep jade, you could lose yourself in them. Pulling myself back to reality I took the papers from his hands. Brushing my finger across his skin, I froze. Before lifting my gaze back to his, hazardously. "Thank you." I said softer this time, staring into his eyes.

After finally getting dress, also having to dig into the bottom of my suit case. I exited my room, quickly noticing Zacky talking with some girl. Smirking I knew it was best not to interrupt, heading to the elevator, pool here I come. Enter the pool area I was shocked to see only one person there. I was rare any where you went to not have people in the pool. It must be because all the shows on the strip is starting. Shrugging it off I set my stuff down on a table before diving in. Coming up I noticed the girl from the reception desk was swimming. Smiling at her I kept my distance, it would be best for now anyway. If Zacky didn't show I'd be looking for some company.

"Hey, so, this might be a crazy idea but my friend and I were about to go swimming...I don't know if you have anything planned but if you'd like to join us?" I suggested before stopping myself. This girl didn't even know me and I didn't know her, what the hell was I thinking? I think I just wanted company and to get my mind off of Gena. "If you have plans though, don't worry about it." I quickly added.

I looked up as I heard someone enter the pool area. It was Matt. I stayed on my side of the pool, watching him dive in and come back up, he gave me a smile, which I returned. I decided I would speak first. "Where's your friend?" I called over to him, my voice echoing just the slightest in the empty room. I swam a little closer, not too close so I wasn't all up in his face, but close enough where I didn't have to yell.

Biting down on my lip I listened to his offer. "On one condition." I said boldly. "You buy me my first drink tonight." It was a win win situation. I got to go swim with this beautiful man and then drink with him after wards. It wasn't too hard to convinces him, if he really wanted me then he do it.

Matt

I smiled at her questioned, it was a conversation started and that was all that I needed. "He's up stairs, should be down any minute." Should be, he'd be fucking lucky if she let him into her bed right now. Hell once they were done he'd still have time to go out and get laid again. Though he didn't see any of that happening. It was just his mind getting a head again. "What about you no friends?" He looked around wondering if all employees swam in the pool or if she was just ballsy.

I smiled at her condition. "Sure, I can do that." I said. "Do you want me to wait for you to get dressed? Or...should I head to the pool?" I asked her. I realized I hadn't introduced myself yet. "Where are my manners, I'm Zacky by the way." I said, holding my hand out to shake hers.

I nodded, listening to him and then giggled a little at his question. "I have friends but those friends are going to music festivals...some in LA, some here in Vegas and some in Arizona...I was going to go with them but my parents, they own and manage this lovely hotel, decided to spring a last minute business trip on me two days ago," I said, "so, instead of hanging out with my friends and listening to great music, I'm stuck here while my parents are in Seattle." I said.

Smiling I shook his hand, "Aubrey." I said softly. "Do you think I'll get lost on the way to the pool?" I asked playfully teasing him, "you don't have to wait on me." I whispered out softly, knowing he could go a head and miss me for a bit.

Nodding, "that sucks." I told her honestly. "Though it's cool you help your parents out." I knew my mother came first. I'd buy her a brand new car before I'd buy Katy shit. But I knew that thinking was wrong but I didn't care though, she wasn't the one I knew it I just hoping to make her the one. "Any good bands playing?" I asked, swimming a bit closer. She didn't seem like she was going to bite, though I might like it if she did.

I chuckled, "I don't think you will, but you never know." I said, "I'll meet you down by the pool then, Aubrey." I said. I watched her go into her room before heading for the elevators once more. I knew Matt was going to be irritated with me, but he couldn't blame me for stopping to help a pretty lady.

I decided to play slightly stupid when he asked me if there were any good bands playing. "Yeah, a lot, actually...I think my friends were upset though cause they all have a common favorite band who was supposed to play but apparently pulled out of the LA shows at the last minute," I said, moving closer, we were inches from each others face, enough where I could smell the faintest bit of cologne he had on, "maybe you've heard of them, Avenged Sevenfold...you kind of look like the singer." I smirked.

I quickly pulled out my brand new bathing suit, before taking my clothes off. I didn't know why I was so excited about a guy I'd just meet in Vegas. Pulling on the suit and wrap I headed out of the door. If I was lucky Zacky would just now be getting off the elevator. I knew he'd maybe want to fuck later to night. But I wasn't sure if I was ready for that kind of thing, having never slept with someone other than a boyfriend it was hard to step into those shoes.

Listening to her talk I let out a laugh, "oh so you think your being cute?" I asked her, she knew who I was. I like that she was teasing me about it instead of fan girling over it. "Yeah I know he's hot right?" I teased her, knowing I was boosting my own ego. "Yeah they canceled due to what now?" He asked wondering what the press was telling everyone.

I exited the elevator and saw the sign leading to the swimming area. I walked down the hall, opening the door and walking in. I noticed Matt first then the girl who checked us in, they were the only two in the pool. I tossed my stuff down on the table by Matt's before sitting down to wait for Aubrey.

I giggled, "well, according to what friends told me, social media is saying it's because the band and the tour manager had some kind of argument or disagreement about the shows," I said, looking up as his friend walked in, I leaned closer so only Matt could hear me, "but my friends think it has something to do with your friend and his lady...their drama is all over the internet." I said, before moving back slightly.

I smiled seeing the sign for the pool, slowing down and taking a few calming breaths before entering the room. A smile spreading across my face seeing Zacky. He'd been waiting for me. "You know you didn't have to wait." I said before setting my room key down, then dropping my wrap.

I looked at her hearing the door open. "Well you're wrong on both accounts." He answered. "We were double booked for two different shows in LA, so we cancelled both and refunded peoples money." I explained, before looking back at Zacky. "His relationship problems doesn't stop us from play, none of ours do." I told her, knowing that our fans put the food on our tables. If we didn't get up on stage every time a personal matter hit the fan, we'd never perform.

"I know but I figured I would." I smiled, looking up at you. "So what brings you to Vegas anyways?" I asked her as I watched her drop her wrap. My eyes scanned her body, I couldn't help but look; as long as I don't touch, like Matt said.

I smiled slightly, "that's good then...I don't tend to pay much attention to the social media, most of it is usually made up to get people worked up and in their emotions." I said, looking over towards Zacky and the blonde girl from earlier. I turned my attention back to Matt. "So, what are you two doing later?" I asked him.
