NEW DEADLINE AS OF 9/7/2017
Heya!
It's been a hot minute since I've hosted a contest here, and what better way to jump back into the community by hosting a much loved contest of it's kind. We are all suckers for songfics, and just music in general, and I love reading stories based on songs I love.
So, I'm turning on my iTunes, hitting that nifty shuffle button, and pushing "next" twenty times. That's twenty songs for you to choose from, all in the list down below! I know you're excited, but first we need to cover some ground rules.
The Rules
1. Mibba rules and guidelines apply, always and no matter what.
2. Minimum word count is 500 words. There is no maximum.
3. If you choose to make a multi-chaptered story, as long as at least one chapter is finished by the deadline, that's acceptable!
4. Please inform me of any username changes, needs for deadline extensions, or if you have to drop out!
5. Use the correct rating.
6. Link the contest and your song in the summary of your contest.
7. No pre-writes. Sorry :(
8. It doesn't necessarily have to be a songfic, as long as the story is somehow related to the song at least a little bit.

Note: I'm usually pretty easy going about heavier topics, however the above are just off limits. If you do include any topics such as abuse, drug use, self harm, or suicide, please include a trigger warning in your summary.
