A Thousand Years [Closed]

Paul nodded his head, "I bet they are amazing." Paul smiled at her. "I'll let you get back to work on that, Ayasha." Paul informed before rising to his feet. He walked to empty is tray and made his way away from everyone to clear his head. He sighed not knowing what to do. He lent into the wall and looked around the surroundings.

Aurora took and sat quietly as she finished her sketch. She laid it aside and leaned back. She hated being here. She missed her friends, and wanted to go back to Phoenix. She frowned picking at her nails as she sat there quietly.

Returning back to school was harder than Ayasha had imagined. The people around her seemed to have changed. She didn't know if it was the fact that people were leaving and wanted to leave the school with out regrets. What ever it was she had a harder time avoiding people. A soft sigh escaped her as she left school, really unsure what to do with the rest of her day. Being the first day of school the teachers didn't assign any homework. So that meant she'd have an entire day to do nothing. Though she knew she needed to start on her next work. She however needed a model. And it would be extremely hard to find someone that could sit for long periods of time and wouldn't annoy her.

Edward exited the school his eyes landing on Emmett, they were discussing a hunting trip. Though their words were soft and unheard to the human ear. "I'm in, how about we drop the cars off and go from there?" He offered allowing the other two to agree. It was settled then. The men of the family would go hunting, normally it was couples and Edward tailed along. But this time they decided to go have some fun. Edward was surprised when Jake and Quil wanted to come to. He felt no need to deny them, since they were the worst smelling things the vampire encounter. "Alright will meet in thirty." They separated before the all headed home, the goal to met up and go hunting.

Paul saw everyone walking into the school and decided to bail. He needed time to himself. He headed for La Push. Once he was there he sat on a log and looked at the lake. He couldn't get her off his mind. He took and grabbed the piece of wood and his knife and began carving. Sighing to himself he looked around glad he was alone. He needed this time and time to clear his mind.

Aurora took and finished drawing on her second picture, of the wooded area around her. She sighed deciding she needed to take and get out of there and head home. She gathered her things up and sighed as she began walking.

Ayasha started her car before backing out of the parking spot, driving home was always so tedious. But she knew that this was her last year, and once it was done she'd be free. Free to live the life she chose. Until then she'd work on perfecting her abilities. But first it required some help, help she didn't think she'd be up to gathering. Having been a loner it was always hard to crack that shell and open up. But she really needed to do something or this year would be a waste of her time. Pulling into her parents driveway, she frowned. The one story house was tiny, and nestled into forestry. But she'd never dreamed of changing it, until now. She wished she was living back in LA, away from this small dead town. Grabbing her stuff she exited the beat down piece of metal before making her way to the porch just to find a place to rest. And maybe get her barring about her.

Edward smiled as the wind hit his face, the only thing he liked about being a vampire was the freedom that came with it. Granted he chose to live like humans, it was better than the alterative. He let out a light chuckle when Emmett's body flew past him, the man's rather large frame tackling a black bear to the ground. It was humorous for the face he was always so care free and wild when they hunted. Closing his eyes he let the sounds and smells of the forest consume him. He could smell the animals all around him. Though he it was like time froze when Jasper's thoughts wafted into his head. His eyes flew opening as he tore off after his adopted brother. He didn't know who would be out in the woods but he knew he had to get to them before Jasper did. Being able to hear his thoughts was his advantage. And he managed to out run him, but the only issue was stopping and taking him down. Jasper had skills that some times even Edward had trouble stopping him. Moving through the trees he felt his feet stop just a few yards away from the human, he could make the woman out. But knew she couldn't see him with her weak eyes. Edwards eyes turned back to his brother, feeling his body collide with his. He had to do every thing he could to stop him. But he didn't know if he could do it alone.

Paul looked out at the water and sighed. He laid back on the log and rested his hands behind his head. He wasn't sure of what to do. He needed her to trust him. But he didn't blame her. He'd been an ass to her for so long, he wouldn't trust himself either.

Aurora heard people as she stopped. She screamed out seeing a blonde headed man come at her. She didn't have time to react. She stood frozen as she saw Edward jump on him and another man. She felt the fear and couldn't find herself to move.

Ayasha stood from her porch her sketch pad in her hand, a small pencil bag in the other. Moving through the lightly wooded area, she made her way down to the beach. It usually abandoned this time of year, only on sunny days did it see that they people loitering around in the sand. Smiling she found herself a rock to set on, looking out over the water. Her mind taking in the beauty of it, before she turned her attention to the pad on her lap. Letting her other hand move capturing the scenery in front of her.

Edward growled throwing Jasper down on the ground, watching as Jacob and Quil jumped in. They both pinned Jasper down allowing Emmett to get a hold on him before they started to drag him away. Edward turned quickly looking over Aurora's face, he knew that she'd seen them. He wondered if there was a way to convince her not to tell anyone. Even if she did who would believe her, but they were different. Moving carefully towards her he put his hands up hoping that she wouldn't run. Granted he could catch her in a heartbeat.

Paul wandered through the woods and sighed. Stopping he saw Ayasha and smiled to himself. He slowly walked towards her. "Hey." He said lightly as he stopped beside of the rock she was sitting on.

Aurora stood there shaking lightly as she felt Edward's hands on her. She stared up at him seeing the other two take the man away. She stared at him a second before taking in a deep breath. "Thank you." She said lightly.

"You again." She mumbled under her breath, rolling her eyes. She didn't know what he was going on about, but they weren't friends. "Hey." She said softly, not really wanting to talk but being rude didn't get rid of him either.

Pulling her lightly to his chest, he cradled her hoping to allow her to calm down. He knew that he'd have to explain things but right now he didn't think was the right time. "Lets get you somewhere warmer." He said before bending and swooping her up into his arms. Moving through the woods he took her to his home, knowing that there was no way he way he could explain things to her parents at this time.

"Look. I know I have been an ass to you." He admitted to her. "But maybe, by some weird chance. We could start over or something?" Paul suggested to her.

Aurora held to Edward as she looked at the home in awe. IT was gorgeous. She took and felt him sit her down as she looked at him. She knew what was going on. The rumors her grandma had spoken of. Were true.

Ayasha licked over her lips before looking up at him, sighing softly. "what makes now so different?" She questioned him, wondering if he'd really changed. It seemed like he was sad, but she couldn't imagine why. Though he did seem quite different, used to he'd be with a different girl each week.

Edward placed her down on his bed, he really didn't want to have his family crowd. He knew that she was slightly in shock, though she seemed pretty calm. "Are you okay?" He questioned her, knowing that making quick movements around her could possibly end up freaking her out more.
