Start of Something New.

Hearing the bell ring, Nikki smiled to herself. It was time to go home. "Alright class, make sure to do the reading for tonight and continue working on your essays." She told the class as she watched the students pack up their belongings then heading out of room. Glancing down at her phone, she smiled at a text from her husband. Quickly responding to his text, she slipped her phone into her back pocket. Gathering up her own belongings, Nikki headed out to her car. As she walked down the hall, she smiled when she saw Peter Parker getting some things out of his locker. "Have a good night Mr. Parker. Please try not to forget about your essay, I am very excited to read yours" She said with a small smirk. She knew that Peter was trying his best, but he had other priorities. To the school, Peter told everyone that he had an intern for Mr. Stark, which wasn't completely lying...there was just more to it. However, she knew that Peter didn't know she knew. Walking down the rest of the hall, Nikki walked outside and got into the car. The moment she got in the car, her phone started ringing. Looking down at it, Nikki answered the phone. "Hi Natasha." She said as she started to have a conversation while driving home. When she got home, she told Natasha she would talk to her later and that the whole team would be having a dinner later this week. Walking through the front door, Nikki looked around. Where was her husband? She walked upstairs, she started to strip her clothes off and change into something else, something more comfortable.

Peter kept staring at the clock during the last period of the day. "Oh come on," He mumbled to himself. Turning to pay attention back to his teacher, Mrs. Stark. As he listened to Nikki give their assignment for the night, Peter always wondered who his teacher's husband was. Part of him wondered if her husband was related to Tony Stark, but as far as he knew, Tony Stark didn't have any siblings. And Peter just knew there was no way that Mr. Stark could be married...unless there was more about Mr. Stark that he didn't know. A rush of excitement waved through him when he heard the bell ring. "Yes!" He said with a smirk as he looked to his friend, Ned. He gathered up his backpack and things before leaving his English Class. "Have a good night, Mrs. Stark." He called out to his young teacher before rushing out of the class. He walked with Ned, talking about a few things like hanging out. "Yeah, I'm sure we can do something tonight. I've just got to do a couple of things." He said as he checked his phone. He sent Happy a text, like he always did, then started to head home. When he got home, Peter rushed in. "Aunt May, are you home?" He called out as he looked around the apartment. He didn't hear anything, which made him smile. He then sent Ned a text telling him that he could come over. He hadn't heard anything from Happy, and he had learned his lesson about things, so he wasn't going to push his limits. He was really excited though because he was going to get to have dinner with the Avengers this week, and he was really looking forward to that. He then pulled out his phone, deciding to text MJ and see if she was home. -Hey. You wanna come over?- He text to her. When Ned came over, Peter let him in, then checked his phone once more, hoping that MJ would text him and say that she would be over. "Hey man." Ned said when he walked in. "You ready to work on that English Homework that Mrs. Stark gave?" Peter looked up at him and nodded, "Yeah sure man." He answered. "I think MJ is coming so she'll be with us...hopefully."
