I rolled out of bed as my alarm went off. I yawned and stretched before rubbing my eyes. It was summer and I still set an alarm as if I were still in high school. It was around 10 am when a text from my mother woke me. I grabbed my phone and read it, getting out of bed. The text was about how she was going to be gone all day and most likely all night. I looked up as Olivia came in. She was in another one of her skimpy outfits, only because he mother was gone today. I sighed softly to myself as I tried to not look at her. I got up and began to make the batter for the pancakes before I started to cook them on the griddle. I then make some eggs for Kenna, knowing how she liked them. I nodded and poured the batter into the waffle maker and started making he waffles. I looked over at my daughter, swing her deep in thought. "What are you thinking about honey?" I asked.
