I smiled at him. "I think I can walk," I said to him. I knew that it was going to hurt, but he couldn't constantly baby me. "I'm sorry that I couldn't finish making you breakfast," I said softly, looking down at the ground. I still had to message Val and tell her to cancel everything for the next couple of weeks because I got into a bad "accident" and wouldn't be able to work for a couple weeks to a month. The idea killed me inside, and I had no idea how I was going to be able to stay away from my job.

"Surprise me," I said with a smile. I took a small sip of my coffee, feeling bad that I couldn't finish making breakfast for him. I just wanted to do something nice for him and I couldn't because i had been beaten to a pulp.

Annalise
"Thank you, kind sir," I said, with a smile. I quickly began to eat, I hadn't eaten since lunchtime yesterday, and I was absolutely starving. I felt as if something bad was going to happen today. i wasn't sure what it could be, or what it could deal with, but I honestly didn't want to find out. I wanted today to be a good day. I hoped that today would be a good day. "So, is a wedding between demons, like a normal traditional human wedding, or is it completely different?" I asked him.

Annalise
"S o essentially I have a month to plan our wedding." I said after I finished chewing my food. "He could have given us a little extra time," I muttered quietly. It took a month just to get all of the RSVPs out. "What did we do to deserve this?" I asked him. "This isn't fair, and if there was a way to wring your father's neck, I most definitely would." I told him, taking another bite of my food.

"We should probably start planning for the wedding now. I'm thinking a very small one. Family and a few close friends. As much as I don't want the asshole there, we need to plan for your father to be there. We wouldn't want it to be below his standards." I said to him, biting my lip. "I'm thinking the colors could be red and grey," I said softly, looking into his hazel eyes.

I sighed softly. "I don't even know how to tell them that I'm getting married. They were so happy to see me whenever you let me go, but being around them seemed like I wasn't part of the family anymore. My little sister didn't even remember me. My mother and father didn't grasp the concept that I had changed since the last time they saw me. I don't know if they would even come. " I said quietly, looking at the ground. "To be honest, I don't know if they should come.. I don't trust your father not to do anything." I took a small drink of my coffee, playing with my food.

" The only friend I've got is Valary." I said softly. "I don't even know if I could consider her a friend. " I said softly, biting my lip. I didn't know how I was going to be able to marry him. How I my life was going to be after I married him.

" Please don't do that Matt," I said softly, referring to his last statment. I hated it whenever he said that he knew I didn't want to marry him. "It's not that it has anything to do with you. I just never believed in marriage. It was never some thing I wanted. It's not because of you so please stop thinking that." I said in a quiet tone

"Matt, I can tell that you're not a bad guy. You had two options, neither of them resulting in a good out come. I forgave you for that." I said. I placed my hand on his cheek and pushed his head up so that he was looking at me. "Don't beat yourself up over this. You know its something your father would get enjoyment out of. Don't let him have that satisfaction." I said, rubbing my thumb across his cheek.

"Of course you can Matt, I just don't know when we'll be able to go on one, I'm not exactly in prime condition to go out and about. I can barely make breakfast without bleeding through my bandages." I said, looking into his hazel eyes. I knew that the marks on my body would be permanent. Even after they healed, they would leave behind disgusting scars.
