A Love Like No Other

It was that time again, time to head back to Hogwarts after the Christmas break. Lily was walking toward platform nine and three-quarters. Ahead of her her older brother Albus was walking ahead of her. She was pushing her cat, her pet owl, Calliope, made a few squarks before ruffling her feathers. Calliope was a Great Grey Owl and she had been with Lily since the beginning of her schooling.

"Lily!" the red haired turned around a wide smile spreading across her face when her cousin Rose Granger-Weasley ran toward her. Rosie was two years older than Lily making her a seventh year.

"Rosie!" she called back a wide grin spreading across her face as she stopped walking and wrapped her arms around her and held her tightly. Not that she hadn't seen her cousin for a long time but still. "Are you ready for your final year?"

"No, are you ready for your fifth year?"

"Ready as I am going to be, come on we had better get to the platform or we are going to be late." with that the two girls hurried toward the wall. Before they got there Lily heard Albus call out to his friend Scorpius. She really could not get over the fact that her brother had been sorted into Slytherin, nor could she believe that he had struck up a friendship with Scorpius Malfoy.

"Isn't he gorgeous?" Rose asked heaving a sigh, Lily looked at her cousin and saw the look of lust flashing through her eyes. Lily knew that her cousin had had feelings for Scorpius for years, it had been talk of the school for so long that it was almost certain that the two of them would start dating this year.

"He's... okay..." she drawled out. The truth was she agreed with her cousin, she had feeling for the Scorpius for a few years now, every time he came over she would try to act normal but most of the time she spent the day locked away in her room afraid that she would make an idiot of herself.

"Of course you would say that," Rose sighed rolling her eyes at Lily. The two laughed before walking closer to Albus and Scorpius.

"Hello Scorpius," Rose greeted him, Lily didn't miss the seductive notes in her voice. Lily couldn't help but roll her eyes.
