Ava listened as the advocate spoke, filling her in on everything that would be happening during Johnny's stay. She then announced that she would leave the room for a few moments, so Ava and Johnny could say their goodbyes. Ava thanked her before turning her attention back to Johnny. "I'll call you as soon as I possibly can, okay?" She closed the gap between the two and pulled Johnny in for a hug, squeezing tight. The redhead pressed a kiss to his temple, exhaling softly. "I'm so proud of you, baby. You got this." The advocate then knocked on the door, signaling that it was time for Ava to leave. Ava gave Johnny one last hug goodbye, told him that she loved him, and headed out of the door. She heaved a sigh of relief, but tears pricked the back of her eyes. This would be the longest that she and Johnny had been apart since they were married.

Zack had just finished up his chicken when Kayla suggested laying down. "Sure, babe. Are you not feeling okay? I can get you some Nyquil from the hall closet." He offered, taking his plate and putting it in the sink. Zack would just do the dishes in the morning-- right now he wanted to go lay down with Kayla. "Come on, babe. Let's go." He gently put a hand on the small of Kayla's back and led her up the stairs. "You can even sleep in my favorite shirt," Zack offered, knowing how much Kayla adored that particular t-shirt.
