Eyes were fixated on her and she knew it. It was the first day Luke made her sit in The Jade Wolf, and nerves got the better of her. She didn't dare take her eyes off rhe empty seat in front of her; scared of if she made contact with ankther wolf.

Yori knew what they were thinking. A stray mutt in The Jade Wolf... But she was more than a stray mutt. She, for one, could control her wolfiah tendencies, regardless of her emotions. She knew Luke needed help taming his paxk - so, when the door opened and she smelt him: she managed a smile.
Jace's eyes scanned the screen in front of him. The Institute was all safe, secured, and there had been no breaches in weeks. A small smug smirk crossed his face, before he crossed his arms and looked over his shoulder. Alec and Magnus stood chatting about something; Isabelle training as always...

He frowned when he noticed Kaycee not with Isabelle. Maybe she was sleeping, or maybe she went for a walk. All Jace knew is that he felt something inside of him when she was around; and he couldn't determine if it was nerves or anxoety, or both - but he knew that he began to like her. She.... Intrigued him

Simon knew that it wasn’t exactly the best idea to hang around The Jade Wolf now that he was a vampire, but with Luke being the Alpha, he figured it was safe. Luke wouldn’t let anything happen to him. And, really, Simon didn’t have anywhere else to go. He didn’t get along with Raphael all that well and Raphael’s coven wasn’t Simon’s biggest fan, so Simon didn’t have many options. It was better to just spend time at The Jade Wolf when he could and try to get used to everything.

So, when he caught up with Luke and entered The Jade Wolf with him, he tried to ignore the glares of some of the werewolves. He was used to it by now, but that didn’t really make things any easier. Luke had mentioned something about a werewolf he was helping earlier and had even told Simon that it might not be the best idea to come to The Jade Wolf while he was helping the girl, since he’d be distracted and possibly unable to help Simon if he got into trouble with the others, but… Well, Simon was being a little stubborn. Following Luke to a table, he blinked at the sight of the girl when Luke sat down in front of her, then moved to sit down as well.

“Sorry, I was running late because of this kid,” Luke mentioned as he motioned to Simon, “Yori, this is Simon. Simon, this is Yori.”

Simon offered a small nod in response and smiled slightly. “Hi,” he greeted, though he didn’t say much else, just in case Yori didn’t want him around like the rest of the werewolves. He didn’t know anything about her and most werewolves didn’t really seem to like vampires, so he could only really hope for the best.
Kaycee didn’t normally sleep in, but the mission from the night before had taken its toll on her. She’d been up most of the night for recon, to get information, but things had gotten hectic and she’d had to act in order to protect a mundane. She was only beginning to wake up now and she blinked her eyes open, blearily taking in the sight of her room for a moment before she climbed out of bed and got ready for the day. While she hoped that she hadn’t missed anything, she also hoped that there was at least something to keep her busy - or to keep her mind busy at least.

While she was long since used to the Institute and the people in it, one person in particular kept getting under her skin. Jace Wayland. She, of course, tried to ignore the feeling and often tried to keep herself distracted around him so that she didn’t overthink the feelings she didn’t understand that bubbled up within her when he was nearby or when she felt like he was near or even when she felt like he was watching her. Sighing out, she headed downstairs, figuring she could find Izzy to train with - at least, then, she could concentrate on acting and reacting and fighting and tactics instead of Jace. But, when she got downstairs, she saw that Izzy was already training and she tried not to pout to herself.

Deciding against interrupting Izzy’s training, she glanced around, though she paused when she spotted Jace. She hesitated for a moment before she made her way over. “Please tell me there’s some kind of mission to do,” she mentioned.
