Taste Of Forever

It had been two days since she last fed and she needed to find someone to feed on soon, because she was getting antsy. Damarus never liked feeding on the same people unless they were fun and she felt like returning to them. No one had significantly impressed her in the 322 years she had been alive, so she just moved on as she pleased. She noticed a tall man standing over on a street corner, and she was immediately interested. He was tall but not thin, and young, which she preferred. "Excuse me? Hi, my name is Damarus. Have a second?" She said, going to stand in front of him and smiling a bit.

Ana sighed as she finished writing the e-mail to her investors, despite having lived as long as she did she still worked; keeping the flow of money was important. Of course she had people who worked for her but most of the time she managed things herself, she shut her laptop then walked to her bedroom smiling when her eyes landed on Jaebum. "Did you sleep okay?" she asked him as she took her earrings off and began to settle in for the remainder of her day. There were some lies people believed about vampires - they could walk during the day - if the sun was really high and bright it made it harder but she lived in a place where it was pretty cloudy most of the time so it wasn't an issue. Vampires only needed minimal rest if they weren't eating regularly - otherwise they didn't sleep. "You look like you've been working hard,"

Jaebum was someone she found important to her, he neared the emotions Jinyoung used to make her feel part of her wanted to send him on his way - make him forget her but she was too selfish; his blood was the best she'd ever had and he inspired her in ways no one ever had before. Jaebum was an artist, of course this seemed to be a going theme with her, many of the men she had found herself in "lust" with had been painters - Jaebum was no different.

Yugyeom pulled his ear bud out of his ear when a small woman approached him he smiled a little as he looked at her, "Uhm sure my name is Yugyeom," he said as he adjusted his messenger bag on his shoulder. He was new to the city, going to college was hassle he'd rather not have to delve into but his parents were stern and demanding.

"Yugyeom? It's a nice name. You're clearly a student," She said, looking at his bag and smiling. "Do you know what I am?" She asked curiously, watching his expression. It was a game she played, some men were intrigued, others terrified. But she liked to be straightforward in getting what she wanted, and from what she could tell he would be a fun distraction.
"How old are you?" She added, wondering if she would get in trouble later. She was used to it, they wanted her to follow rules and she didn't care for them.

Jaebum looked up from his sketchbook before shaking his head. "I was distracted by the sound of angry typing," He smiled a little, turning his book to the side to shade in a section. "Everything alright?" He asked, picking up another pencil to scribble onto the paper.

He looked at her furrowing his brow a little, "I'm 19," he said to her then wet his lips a little, "Look I don't mind letting you feed off me but I want something in return," he said knowing exactly what she was, "I want payment in monetary form," he had thought about this - several of his friends did it so he didn't see why he shouldn't be straight forward.

She smiled sheepishly then sat next to him laying her head on his shoulder, "Sorry," she murmured lightly, "You've gotten better, your shading is very nice," she murmured - art always intrigued her. Living through the era's she'd seen how it changed how it became what it is now.

"Only 19? Are you sure you know what you're doing?" She asked curiously. "Money is no object, the least of your concern. You're very young, younger than I thought. Sure you know what you're getting into? Could be dangerous," She smiled a little.

"I have had... a lot of practice," He said absentmindedly, blowing to get the extra shavings off the paper. "Here," He said, handing it to her and laying back on the bed. "For you, my lady."

She took the drawing then looked at it, "It's beautiful," she murmured softly as she chewed on her bottom lip, "I'll frame it, hang it up in the study," she murmured gently then looked to him kissing his cheek affectionately. She knew that it was wrong to be so attached - he'd leave her too given the chance.

He nodded,"I know what I'm doing, it's just blood and I can mix a cocktail of vitamins to help me stay healthy and energized," he said to her shrugging.

"Alright, if you're sure," She said, nodding a little. "How much do you want?" She asked, crossing her arms. "I'll only need you for a day or so, to feed once or twice, then you're free to go."

He smiled a little, watching her quietly. "Glad you like it," He said, looking over her shoulder. "What were you up to while I was asleep?"

"Hm nothing much really, just catching up on some emails and setting up your doctors appointment," she said to him smiling a little, "Last thing I need is for you to be sick," she murmured setting the drawing on the bedside table for now then turned to look at him. "Do you need anything? I might run to the store today," she offered as she looked at him.

"A thousand per feeding," he said as he looked at her seriously, he had tuiton to pay and bills needing paid he didn't want to go cheaply.

She raised an eyebrow and laughed. “No ones blood is worth 1,000,” She smiled a little. “But since you’re young and a student, I’ll do it,” She said to him. “One thousand total for the day, and maybe I’ll give you 500 too since it’s your first time,”

“Just some more food, we’re running low,” He sighed. “Were you planning on going somewhere today?”

He shrugged, "Where?" he asked as he looked, "You can come to my dorm if you want?" he said to her lightly as he rubbed his neck awkwardly.

She nodded, "I can go get some groceries if you want to come with me," she murmured as she looked at him then snuggled into his side, "I need to feed tonight, are you okay to? I can go to one of the others if you're not up to it," she murmured gently as she wet her lips.

“Do you have your own room?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “I have a car, and an apartment not too far from here,” She suggested. “If you don’t have your own room, maybe you should come to mine.”

He nodded. “I can come with you,” He said, smiling a little. “And I’m fine, I just need to eat before you do,” He said softly.

She nodded a little,"Hm, then we should get dressed so we can get food for you," she said to him as she kissed him lightly, "you don't regret any of this do you?" she asked him softly as she looked at him her eyes meetng his. "I never want you to feel forced,"

He shrugged, "Whichever is closer, mine is a good twenty minute walk," he admitted to her as he wet his lips unsure of what to expect he hadn't done much research.

“We’ll go to yours then,” She said, pulling out her car keys. “Come on, my card that one over there,” she said as she pointed out the dark red car across the street. She climbed in and started the car, turning out the lot and toward the university. “Won’t take long, and it won’t hurt. Give me your account number and I can transfer the money to you.”

He shook his head, cupping her face gently. “I prefer you feed on me than the others. I barely like sharing you, though I know it’s to keep me healthy.”

She closed her eyes a little, "I don't want to hurt you. ever," she murmured lightly as she looked at him, "can't feed from you all the time though,"

He nodded a little as he wrote down the account number on a sticky note then handed it to her as he climbed into the car then buckled in. She said it wouldn't hurt, but he didn't know if t was true - everyone said it varied per vampire.

"Which dorm is yours?" She asked, pulling over to the residential areas. "Also, when did you eat last?" She asked as she parked the car and turned to him.

He sighed. "I know, still, I don't like sharing you regardless," He murmured, sitting up in the bed. "We can go now, to the market, unless you'd rather feed now."

"I just ate a little while ago, and turn up here," he said as he pointed to the big sign. He lived in his own dorm room, and liked it this way but it was expensive.

She shook her head, "Lets go, I can wait," she said pecking his lips gently then climbing off the bed and going to her closet to get dressed. Assimilating to the time was hard for her, it wasn't that she missed the clothes from her period but it did take some adjusting, it was through the 1300's and 1400's where she began to dress without issues. She pulled on some jeans and a sweater then looked to him, "You should wear the black button up - black looks good on you," she murmured.

She parked where he said and climbed out of the car, following him inside. "Do you have any questions for me though?" She asked curiously, following him to his room.

He smiled a little and pulled on the shirt, searching around for his jeans. "I think you prefer me in nothing at all though," He teased, looking around for his phone.

Jinyoung walked into the house he knew was hers, it was large meaning he knew he was in the right place. He walked into the front hall and smiled a little when she came into view. "You take your food food shopping now, Ana? You never used to do that for me," He said, raising an eyebrow as the second male walked into the room.

A small smile curved her lips, "I think you're right," she murmured as she looked at him then wet her lips, she heard footsteps then furrowed her brow and when he spoke she froze on the spot her mind reeling before she turned around, seeing him was surreal he looked just as good as the day he'd left, "What are you doing here Jinyoung?" she asked as she looked at him, her voice was soft, she grabbed Jaebum's hand in her own a protective measure. Her eyes were dark and filled with anger - how dare he come back... after all this time. "You should have stayed gone," she muttered as she grabbed her wallet.

"Will it hurt?" he asked her, "intially?" he asked curiously as he looed at her with a furrowed brow.

"The bite will hurt the most, but you won't feel it once I start," She explained. "It might be the best thing you've ever felt in your life, but it varies. Since you're new to this, I'll do what I can to make it as easy as possible. You should probably lay down, the more comfortable you are the better it'll taste for me." She said as she walked around the dorm room.

Jaebum held onto her hand and looked between Ana and the man, it was clear they knew each other. "Who is this?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Jinyoung smiled and shook his head. "Now we both know you don't mean that, Ana," He murmured, watching their hands. "You would have reacted much more violently if you meant it."
