20 songs, 20 stories;
So, around five years ago there was this awesome contest here on Mibba I entered called 20 songs, 20 stories. I found this contest when I was going through a rough writer’s block patch and it seriously helped me out so, I’m bringing it back!
What’s this contest about?
This contest is simple – pick 20 songs and write 20 stories. I’m saying I want these stories to be a minimum of 800 words and no chaptered stories – sorry! But I want 20 individual stories but, you can make these stories or line together, I won’t stop you some doing that.
Rules;
- Follow all of Mibba's story guidelines.
- Have a link to this contest and the song in the summary
- All ratings are allowed.
- No pre-writes are allowed for this contest.
- Must be 20 individual stories
- One shots only
- slash, incest, etc is allowed
- Fan fiction or original fiction are both permitted
- Must be over 800 words (I will be going by this website for word counts)
Prizes
- A lengthy comment on three stories of your choice;
- A blog interview (because I’ve always wanted to give this a go!)
- A Mibba magazine review of one of your stories;
- A rec blog recommending all 20 of your entries
1st place gets all, 2nd can pick two and 3rd can pick one.
All entries will receive a comment (50 word minium) and a recc (which will be done every 5 stories you submit). If you have not completed the challenge by the deadline, I’ll review the stories of yours that I haven’t. I will pick one story from each person who enters to be in a huge recc blog after this contest ends.
