Zoey laughed and smiled as she got into his car and hummed softly before walking inside. She got a tea and sat down with him before sipping on it. "I'm so glad that most teas all taste the same." She smiled at him.

Taven kissed her back deeply looking down at her as he stroked her cheek gently watching her with adoring eyes. "What's going through that beautiful head?" He questioned softly.

James chuckled, "I'm not a big tea person." He said. He took a sip of his coffee, "It just taste awful." He said. He looked out the window, thinking about how tonight he had to meet up with the gang. He knew that Taven would have to come along as well.

Meilani smiled at his words, "I just can't believe i'm with you is all." She whispered. She was glad that Taven turned out to be so amazing. She kissed him softly, before pulling away slowly.

Zoey chuckled hearing him shaking her head. "I don't like coffee. It's too bitter." She murmured as she sipped on her drink leaving him to his thoughts for the moment. She wondered if he was hiding something from her though.

Taven smiled and laughed hearing her words. "That's how I should feel." He replied pushing her hair out of her face kissing her back pressing a final one to her forehead. He then said, "Why don't you and Zoey have a girls night? James and I gotta do something tonight." He told her.

James looked at her, "What?" He asked, feeling her looking at him. He knew that she was getting suspicious and he wasn't sure he wanted her to know anything about him.

Meilani smiled, "Sure. Are you going to come back later or no?" She asked. She would miss him and she loved sleeping next to him.

Zoey heard him, blinking before shrugging. "Nothing." She told him with a smile before sipping on her tea and yawning wincing at her arm.

Taven laughed and said, "Depends on if you want me to." He told her with a smile as he kissed her head again looking at her.

James looked at her arm, "How is your arm feeling?" He asked. He took a sip of his coffee, hoping that is wasn't too bad.

Giving him a smile, Zoey shrugged. "It's just a tiny bit sore and probably pissed at me more than anything." She laughed looking back at him. "I haven't exactly been letting it rest since I refuse to let anyone carry my stuff for me."

Taven smiled and nodded, "Then I will." He kissed her back happily before pulling away and getting up, taking her hands and pulling her to her feet.

James nodded, "That is true. I tried. You are just stubborn." He said, laughing.

Meilani smiled as she got to her feet, "Do we have to go?" She asked. She wanted to spend all her time alone with Taven. She knew it wasn't healthy though. She need to have friends.

Zoey laughed shaking her head and said, "Would it make you feel better if I let you carry my ridiculously heavy backpack next week?" She smiled at him shaking her head,

Taven laughed and said, "Well, first I need to get dressed." He looked down at his bare chest with a grin before smiling at her and nodded. "Yeah, the mall sounds fun," He told her kissing her head before rooting around in his bag finding a shirt.

James nodded, "It really would." He said. "Then I know you won't be in pain." He said, finishing his coffee. "Come on we have to meet Taven at Meilani's. He figured they could all ride together. He got up when she finished and walked with her to the car, heading towards Taven's.

Meilani smiled, "Nah you are good." She teased him. She left him to get changed then walked downstairs. She let James and Zoey in once they got there. "Hey. How's the arm?" She asked her.

James smirked, "Hey asshole let's go!" He yelled. He looked around the house, seeing how nice it was. It was not wonder Taven wasn't welcome here. He watched as the girls walked into the kitchen, then looked at the pictures in the living room. His eyes landed on one of what he supposed was Meilani's parents. He looked at Taven when he felt his friends, "Where's her mom?" He asked. He had a feeling she suffered the same fate as Taven and his mom. Though she looked exactly like Meilani.

Zoey laughed and said, "Fine!" She told him kissing his cheek. "Fine fine fine." She gave in sighing and threw her tea away having finished it and headed into the car. Once there, she got out, watching her cast so it didn't hit the door. She saw Meilani and smiled at him. "Hey. It's better, just going to have to get used used to stubborn ass carrying my stuff." She smiled at her. "How was last night?" She quirked an eyebrow a smirk playing on her face. "Don't bother, I can see it from a mile away." She teased her.

Taven laughed getting his sweatpants on before heading downstairs hearing James. "Could you shut the fuck up?" He asked clapping him on the back. He smiled at him before watched the girls go into the kitchen and looked at Taven. "From what i've been told, she passed away." He told him crossing his arms over his chest. "How've you been?" He asked him raising an eyebrow. "Why do you have a bruise?" He questioned not knowing about his dad yet.

James looked at him, "I...well I went to my place to grab some stuff. I stupidly took Zoey and asked her to stay in the car. She didn't listen and he shoved her and it just was a mess." He explained. He looked over as the girls came out, "Alright let's get the hell out of here." He said, laughing. He walked with them, going to his car, getting in.

Meilani smiled at her friend, "Is it?" She asked, feeling nervous now. She laughed softly, then got up, "Come on let's go out there." She said. She walked with her and found the guys. Meilani climbed into the backseat with Taven and relaxed.

Zoey gave a laugh and shook her head. "No, I just know you a little bit better." She smiled at her friend and nodded going out and saw that Taven and James had been talking and got into the passenger seat smiling when she felt James' hand in her own and looked out the window humming softly.

Taven listened to him and raised an eyebrow and said, "I don't think that's stupid. Means you trust her." He shrugged. "That's good, by the way. That you trust her. And well, i'm sure he got what he deserved." He told him. He heard him and laughed going out and getting into the back with Meilani and looked out the window.

Meilani was glad when they got to the mall. She was never a fan of being in the backseat. She took Taven's hand as they walked inside. She laughed as James said something smart to Taven. "You guys are awful to each other. " She said.

James walked into the mall with everyone, his arm going around Zoey. "Now Taven don't make a fool of yourself." He said, chuckling. "You don't want to be bad." He said, laughing.

Taven got out and stretched and said, "I'm too tall for that shit." He laughed, gently interlacing their fingers together as he walked inside. He heard James and gave him the finger. "Wanna know where you can put that?" "You can put it in your a-" He was cut off by Zoey.

Zoey laughed hearing James and quickly cut off Taven before he could finish. "Children! No need for that." She laughed shaking her head, leaning into James with a smile before looking at Meilani. "We can't take them anywhere." She giggled.

Meilani rolled her eyes, "Apparently not." she said, looking at Taven. She walked with them, looking at a few of the stores, then got food at the food court. She sat next to Taven and smiled. She took a sip of her drink as she listened to James talk.

James looked at Taven, "I am shocked you would use such language Taven. Honestly, what is wrong with you." He teased his friend. He smiled as he sat down with his food to eat. He took a bite of his food, "Alright what next?" He asked his friend.

Taven smirked hearing James and said, "Oh, no. God forbid I use the word that means your butt. How selfish of me to use such language." He said with sarcasm dripping from every word. He laughed with James shaking his head before starting to eat his food. He smiled back at Meilani before shrugging to James. "I don't know. Girls?" he asked raising an eyebrow.

Zoey rolled her eyes at the two of them lightly smacked James' arm before laughing and sitting down. She didn't order much food since she wasn't hungry and picked at her fries before looking out the window looking back hearing Taven and looked at Meilani and said, "Well, I mean, I have no clue." She gave up laughing.

Meilani sat there, focusing on her food, until she felt everyone staring at her. "Well don't look at me. I hate people." She said. She really did. She would have rather been home with Taven, in bed, reading or something.

James laughed, "I mean I hate people too, but apparently not on your level." He said. "You really hate this don't you?" He teased her, seeing her nod. He looked at Taven, "You would find your anti-social twin." He joked, laughing.

Taven busted out laughing hearing her words, shaking his head and grinned at James before saying, "Dude, she seemed like she liked people when I first met her." he shrugged and said, "Works for me. People are overrated." He told him before smiling down at Meilani.

Zoey laughed shaking her head and said, "We could just go to the arcade?" She put the idea out there, smiling softly glad that Taven and Meilani fit together. She pushed her half uneaten food away from her and stretching gently before leaning into James for a moment.
