NaNoWriMo 2017

Its really super easy! It's not necessary, but most start off by going to the NaNoWriMo website and creating a profile, then subsequently creating a project they're working on this November to make it official! After that, just write your novel in November! We try to reach 50,000 words (by writing at least 1,667 words a day on average), but some people who are called NaNo Rebels like to do less, others don't make profiles or projects at all and just use November as a month to write! There are a bunch of resources online about NaNoWriMo--but honestly, I think the most entertaining videos about it are in Katytastic's 2012 NaNoWriMo playlist as well as her 2011 playlist you can find on her channel. There are also tons of blogs here on Mibba about it!

If you want to "win," you have to write 50,000 words in a month (and be able to copy and paste your novel into the NaNo site's word counter to verify) and you get tons of cool prizes, like discounts on premium writing software and even discounts on printed copies of your novel from CreateSpace!

Hello! I'm Allie and I'm going to attempt nanowrimo for the third time this year, and I've never actually completed it before. this is my nanowrimo profile, and my story is The Fall! I'm super excited this year!

Not sure if anyone's helped you yet but what you do is make a nanowrimo account here and set up your novel info and keep track of how much you write/type everyday for the novel. A lot of people post the novels on mibba but you don't have to unless you want to.

Hey everyone, also doing Nano this year. Add me here. I'm writing a bunch of short stories around my Roleplay characters, being it premade characters (which will result into fabulous fanfiction) or original ones. I hope by writing a collection of short stories, I can finally achieve this massive task, and that it will inspire me to do an actual novel next year.

I did but Idk what to write about... lol

Hey, I changed the story page on Mibba for my story! It's now found here! Same story, I just wanted to give it a clean slate since I had comments on it from before I restarted it for NaNoWriMo and it felt wrong having them, since they were about my previous work

You basically just try to write a 50,000 word novel in a month! NaNoWriMo is the website which tracks it for you and if you prove (by copying in all you wrote to their word counter) that you wrote all 50,000 words you'll be declared a winner and get some cool prizes.

You can write it on microsoft word or whatever writing programme you usually use. NaNoWriMo is just the motivator for it in a way, since they offer prizes, keep track of your daily writing, and allow you to find people taking part as well. The website explains it pretty well :)

I started a little yesterday but didn't have time to write more so hopefully today is better. already slacking, smh.

I fell behind my own goals yesterday and only wrote about 300 ish words
BUT today I do plan on trying to get at least 4k if not 5k. It'd be awesome if I could hit 15k words but I guess we'll see how that works

How is everyone else doing?

edit: My region lost 4k words today lmao what? How?

Day four and my muse has dried up ;_;

My inspiration keeps coming and going for this. Last year, I was able to write consistently all thirty days. I guess I'm not feeling this idea as much as I originally believed.
