Shaun nodded, and stepped back from her. "Wish me luck," he said softly. He moved over towards one of the girls. She was pretty, blonde and dressed in a cute black dress. He smiled weakly, "hey, may I have a dance?" he asked her quietly.

Veronica nodded and watched him go ask that blonde woman to dance, Veronica almost felt a pang of jealousy. This was weird for her, she shouldn’t, he was her best friend that’s it.

Shaun smiled wider when she agreed. He made his way onto the dance floor with her. He began dancing with her closely.

She should be feeling this way, Veronica groaned in frustration as she walked away trying to keep herself calm. Looking around for anyone to dance with she frowned and made her way to the bar.

Shaun was trying to enjoy the dance as much as he enjoyed dancing with V, but it wasn't the same. He kept dancing until the song ended, then thanked the girl. He smiled as she slipped him her number, and kissed him.

Veronica had just witnessed what happened and she frowned she shouldn’t be angry. She sighed softly and walked back to the bar and took a couple more shots.

Shaun made his way over to the bar. "Hey beautiful," he said quietly as he approached.

Veronica took another drink before looking over at Shaun,”what’s up?”

Shaun looked at her, and slipped his arm around her, "maybe, I don't know," he said softly. He smiled weakly, "okay, shall we make an exit?" he asked.

Veronica quickly got up from her chair, “I’m tired let’s go.” She mumbledas she headed towards the exist.

Shaun nodded and quickly followed her, "okay sounds good," he said. He led her out to his car, and climbed in.

Veronica sat in the passenger seat and out her seat belt on, silent the ride back home.

Shaun drove in silence, it was odd. She seemed pretty upset. He pulled into a park at home, and climbed out of the car. "What's up V?" he asked her.

Veronica climbed out of the car her heels in her hand, “nothing just tired l, I need sleep.”

Shaun nodded gently, "okay, sounds alright, come on, lets get you to bed," he said. He moved around the car, and put his arm around her carrying her upstairs.

Veronica protested, “can you not carry me.. I have feet I can walk.” She mumbled, but he was already carried her stairs.

Shaun put her down, once they were upstairs. "sorry," he said softly. He blushed lightly, before heading inside their apartment.

Veronica walked inside and took her shoes off before going to change into more comfortable clothes.
