Sometimes things happen and your mind plays that little mind trick with you. Like "Girl, you're totally not." But your gut laughs and is like "oh, yup, you totally are."
Like the first time she slept with Rian after being wine drunk a few weeks back. They had a tough day in the exes department. It was Josie and her ex-fiances wedding date they planned, and it was the first time Cassadee brought another guy on the red carpet that wasn't Rian. To celebrate, Josie went out and bought the cheapest bottles of Moscato and they played 21 questions. Which led to Josie ending up in Rians bed instead of her own. Which, wasn't too uncommon, since they always fell asleep together watching movies, but this time, no clothes were involved and she knew her older brother would be less-than-thrilled to find out she was sleeping with one of his friends, let alone someone in the band. The only thing saving her, she thought, was the fact it wasn't Gaskarth or Barakat. He would have really flipped out then.
It just made sense for Rian and Josie to experiment. Rian was always the one there for her after everything went to shit. He was the first person she called when she ended up in the hospital the last night she was abused. He was the one that pushed her to leave. He was the one that picked her from the ashes so she could rise like a Phoenix. She always had a deep admiration for him. A crush when she was a kid. That's how she ended up in his bed. She admitted to having feelings for him before he met his high school girlfriend Kara.
But her mind was now telling her she wasn't pregnant after she cleaned her mouth from the morning sickness. She had taken 6 pregnancy test and in a matter of seconds, the plus was there. Not only was she pregnant, she was super pregnant. And her but knew. That's why she cut back on the drinking and partying. But the need to tell Rian was still there. She wasn't as nervous as she thought she'd be. He was the one person to make her calm and even though it was a shitty situation, she knew he'd find light in it. They had been on and off messing around since that night. They kept telling each other they couldn't, but there was something that kept them pulling towards each other. She walked out of the bathroom and looked around their house, calling his name, to no answer. It had to be 10am, so she knew he wasn't sleeping, so her next thought was he was in their garage recording a band. Instead of interrupting the session, she walked over to the couch, plopping down, and pulled out her phone as she skimmed through the channels, landing on a boring cooking show. "RiRi...where are you :c I woke up and you weren't here! She casually texted him, trying to play it cool as butterflies worked in her stomach. She was about to change their entire lives and she was acting like it was a dumb crush, what was wrong with her?
