A shrill ding signaling the arrival of the elevator, the door slowly open. Lifting his head Gerard steps from the contraption. His eyes being greeted with the bustle of workers and guest. Most of whom were oblivious to his arrival. Though a young blond rushes to his side, her smiled never faltering though he could sense fear behind it. "Good Morning, sir." Her words are soft and sweet, confidence laced them, betraying her attempt to keep things professional. "Here are your messages and Mr. Toro is waiting for you in your office." She rushes out quickly as he starts to move through the building. His office doors in his line of sight. Nodding his head he paused briefly at the doors, wondering if there was more she wished to say, though when she made no attempt he opened his door and entered. The door swung shut behind him, cutting the busyness off from his site. "Ray." He greeted his long time friend. The man nodded before dropping a file on his desk, then exiting the room. It was usually like that, unless he requested Ray's company. He moved to his desk placing himself at it, before grabbing the file his friend had left. His brow shooting up as he took in the employment papers. He was a little to busy to deal with the hiring and firing of employees, but the moment he opened it her froze. The blue eyes beauty that stared back at him, had his mind going back to a time long past. Those same blue eyes had pierced his soul as he moved through the club. She couldn't have been legal to drink but then he'd been mistaken before. But her desire to have him was more than enough to incite his humor, and who was he to deny a woman her wants of him. Shutting the file he place it down before closing his eyes. He didn't want to think about that, sighing he collected himself before turning his attention to the messages.
The chair next to her slid out before being occupied, her eyes lifting from her salad to the man now sitting next to her. "Hello Ryan." She greeted the man. This place wasn't normally crowded but with all the preparation for the up coming event. There was more than the fair share of people. And normally Ryan would have never taken a seat next to her, but it seemed it was one of the last few available. She smiled politely before returning to her food. Ryan was one of her boss's. Really he was her boss's boss. He worked under Mr. Iero, everyone knew he was his right hand man. But that didn't stop him from over seeing most of the hiring and firing, plus job performances. Most of the people would say that his title was HR. But he did to much for the company for that to be his only title. "Hello." He greeted, he seemed busy even though he was on lunch, his phone in his hand as he did the best to eat. Shaking her head Jordan turned back to her food, thinking it was best to just allow him to work. Everyone in the company knew he was over worked, but never said anything about it. Nibbling on her salad she heard a slur of curse words leave his mouth. Before a sigh, "and where the hell am I suppose to find someone to replace her in this little of time?" He questioned. "I beg your pardon?" She asked, uncertain if he was speaking to her or not. "I'm sorry Jordan." He shook his head, apologizing for interrupting her meal. "How is it that a party planner is fired?" He questioned no one, Jordan raise her brow before looking over at him. "Not meeting expectations." She said simple. "Or trying to swindle money by using second rate product and saying its the real thing." She chuckled. Before looking at him, noticing the shocked look on his face. "Do you know anything about party planning?" He questioned her. Smiling she nodded, "prefect." He smiled, "see you back at work."

Lily let out a deep sigh, flattening the skirt of her dress. The burgundy tight fitted dress was hugging her body nicely, it brought her hair to life as well. She was standing outside the huge office building, a cigarette hanging from her lips. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes briefly before dropping the cigarette to the ground, she quickly stepped on it with her foot. She quickly entered the building, walking past the people who were working there. Nodding from time to time to the ones that bothered to greet her. She was fiddling nervously with her small purse as she stepped into an elevator, pressed the top floor and waited as the elevator moved upwards.

She had been called in to have an interview as an elevator girl, she had been a bit confused as to what that would involve. But the pay had convinced her to at least go in for an interview. She lightly tapped her heeled foot, getting a bit impatient. The elevator doors finally opened and she stepped out. She easily located the room where she would have the interview, she knocked three times before stepping back. She fixed her hair quickly and cleared her throat, whispering a greeting to herself over and over again.

She had been struggling for the last two years. Work never seemed to be in her favor, and often she had gotten tired of it. Mostly cause the pay wasn't worth it, and she wasn't challenged enough to keep her interest. She was still working on her law degree, but when her father fell sick she decided not to rely on him for her tuition. So she started looking for a better paying job. Then this appeared and she took the chance of applying, luckily she landed an interview rather quickly which she was grateful for. Her mind was wandering, so she didn't notice as the door handle was pushed down.

Frank entered the busy hallways. He was clearly stressed, so people moved out of the way for him. He walked towards the big conference room and pushed the doors open. The room fell quiet when he entered. It was being filled with tables and in the far back a scene was being set up. People went back to their business as Frank walked through the room and into a back room going over some papers and the guest list. He was doing a charity event, for his work in Africa. It was his first big event after returning to the office, so he wanted it perfect. He was supposed to finally introduce his water purifying device. He was excited but oh so stressed. It was important for him, and it was important that it went well.

He walked out of the back room as his phone started to vibrate in his pocket. He sighed as he pulled it up to look at the screen. There was a message from Ryan. The event assistant had been fired, but apparently, he had found a replacement. He pinched the bridge of his nose. He quickly dialed Ryan, ''Send her up to the conference room, I need her here now.'' He didn't let him answer as he hung up, he didn't have time to wait for an answer, he trusted Ryan enough that he would do as he said, even when it was short notice. He barked at some people who were just standing there, doing nothing.

He desperately needed someone who could put things in order and manage to put together a great and interesting event party. The previous planner had already done a decent job at putting down a foundation for the event, but it was still far from done, and there wasn't much time left.

Gerard sat at his desk going over the files for the new shipment, knowing that the last time it was delayed by an hour. However after dealing directly with the boss of the company he was assured it wouldn't ever happen again. It was easy persuasion, he'd just send Bob down to deal with him. Lifting his head the door to his office opened, blinking bored at the woman before him. She quickly made her way to his desk, swaying her hips as she walked. "Sir here's your calls for the last hour, and Miss Burke is on her way up." She informed him. He could tell that she was curious, seeing as the woman didn't grace his calendar until this morning. He wasn't even sure if he wanted to take on the interview. But he just had to see her. "Thank you." He said his words indicating that he was finished speaking with her, and her exit was required.

The door opened and he noticed the small mousy red head, she fit her age. Nodding to his secretary she stepped aside allowing the woman to entered. It wasn't until the door closed that Gerard stood and moved around the desk. "Miss Burke." He greeted her his voice steadily sounding bored. He out stretched his hand, he wondered if she recognized him. Though it seemed like she was nervous enough so he'd let it slide this time. "Please have a seat." He directed her to a chair nearest his desk. Before taking on adjacent to hers.

He allowed her a moment to collect herself. "I'm sorry for the change on such short notice. But Mr. Toro was called out, and I'll be conducting your interview, I'm Gerard Way." He smiled softly to her, knowing that it wasn't everyday you get to meet the company head. He watched the reaction spread across her face, though she did a good job at hiding her surprise. "Shall we start, tell me a bit about yourself." He instructed her, he could careless about asking her questions. Her file had everything he needed to know. He just wanted to hear her speak.
Jordan stood grabbing her trash and threw it away before exiting the building. Wrapping her jacket tighter around her to shield from the wind, she made the short walk back to work. It wasn't long before the grand door close behind her and she was walking through security. Flashing her badge to the guard, dragging a wink from him. She smiled softly before heading towards the elevator. "Miss Blake." She heard some one call out to her. "Good I caught you before you returned to work." Ryan stopped before her, a soft grin playing on his lip.

"Ryan, I take it things have worked out for you?" She questioned him, his smile slowly falling. "Not exactly." He told her, "that actually what I wanted to talk to you about." He said allowing her to step into the elevator before following. He quickly press the button of the floor they were needed on. "It seems that I've run into a bit of a problem." He said turning to her. "And I need your help." He smiled again, before continuing. "I've already cleared it with Jack, you'll report to me until this project is done." He told her. Nibbling on her lip she furrowed her brows. "Do I get to know what it is I'll be doing?" She questioned him.

A chuckled filled the elevator as he smiled over at her, "you said you had experience in party planning. So you get to plan this years Gala." He told her, as the elevator door opened arriving on the floor.

Lily was a little surprised when the door opened and the first thing she saw was a woman. She tried not to look intimidated as she looked her over. The woman stepped aside and let her in, ''Thank you.'' She stepped into the office and noticed the man behind the desk, he gave her a feeling she couldn't quite describe. She did as he told her and took a seat across from him. She pulled her dress down, trying not to expose herself too much. She quickly crossed her legs at the ankles and took his hand as he reached it out to her.

''Not a problem Mr. Way,'' She smiled and bit her tongue. She knew he had better things to do, and although she had nothing to do with it, she felt a little guilty that he had to do the interview. But regardless of who was interviewing her, she was determined to present herself in the best way possible. Lily took her time explaining her situation, although not going too into detail about her father. She just mentioned he was sick and she needed more money than her previous job could offer her. ''I work very well amongst a lot of people, I love crowded places and thrive in a busy workplace.'' She met his eyes. She did her best not to break eye contact, but it was difficult, she felt as if he was trying to figure out her deepest and darkest secret.

She bit her lip, ''I'm sorry, have we met before? You seem familiar.'' She couldn't put her finger on it, she might have just seen him in magazines or something like that. She liked hearing him talk, it made her sit upright and proper as if she was trying to please him already.

Frank left the conference room a couple of minutes after asking for the new event planner, but she never showed up. So he stomped out on the hallway determined to find her and fill her in. He stood in front of the elevator waiting for it to open. As it opened he was surprised to find Ryan in it, ''Took you some time'' he said through clenched teeth. Ryan just smirked and shrugged as people left the elevator.

''This is Jordan,'' Frank looked as Ryan placed his hand on a woman's lower back and gently pushed her forwards. He looked at her, not hiding checking her out. He tilted his head slightly and met her eyes. ''Hello Jordan, don't think we've had the pleasure.'' He shook his head towards the conference room, ''please let me show you what's been done and needs to be done.'' He started walking towards the room yet again, opening the door for her and letting her in. He took a peek at her ass and wasn't disappointed.

He dismissed Ryan who quickly left them, and put his hand on her lower back. He could smell the perfume on her skin as they walked through the room. He turned towards her, ''It'll be a charity party, so we need a lot of entertainment, drinks and such. All the raised money will be donated, most of it to villages in Africa. We have certain care packages ready to ship, so the more money we raise, the more packages get delivered.'' He licked his lips, ''Ever been to Africa?''

Gerard listened to her words as they spilled from her mouth, he found himself staring at the soft lust pink lips. He crossed his legs before sitting back into his chair. His clasped his hands together bringing his finger to his lip. Raising a brow he let his eye trail down her body as she was distracted. He nodded, before locking his eyes with hers. He felt his lips twitch, doing his best to keep from smirking. He loved the way she reacted to his stares, it made him want to keep her hear all day just to get the same reaction out of her. He stood once she mentioned him being familiar. He chose to ignore her words, before propping himself across from her leaning causally against his desk. "If hired I assume you're schedule would fluctuate once you returned to school?" He questioned her, keeping the interview professional as he could.

He thought over any other questions he could ask, but the school one was the biggest issue. Seeing as the company was only opened during the day, even though people would stay as late as they chose. He knew that it would be a mistake to hire a student. But he would have her the rest of the summer break. And part of him didn't want to part with her. So even if it wasn't smart for business, he didn't want to let her walk out of his office. So he knew that offering her the job was on the tip of his tongue. But he still felt like they weren't done conversation yet. He wanted to get everything he could out of her. But he knew that he was just wasting his time on his interest. He had plenty of time to do that after work. Because offering her the job would insure that she would be around a lot more and he'd have his time to play.
Stepping from the elevator Jordan was confused, normally they way the company worked is you chose your work load, as long as you managed to complete five project a week then nothing was said to you. If you chose to do more then that was on you. Some time the bosses pushed for more. But it didn't mean an increase in pay or anything. So most people worked the bare minimum. Something she felt was a bit lax, but never complained as it allow those with the tougher job the time to complete it. So she was shocked when Ryan explained what she was going to be doing. All she could do was blink up at him she was slightly confused as to why this man would ever chose her to do something of such. But she never said anything.

Once the initial shock wore off she was prepared to face the music, but what she wasn't ready for was the man standing there greeting them as they got off the elevator. She could feel the needed push from Ryan as she stood awe struck by this man, having never seen him before. Offering him a polite smile when he addressed her, she nodded heading towards the conference room. It wasn't till the door close behind her that she realized she was completely alone with this unnamed man.

Her body responded as his hand brush her back, edging her to move forward. Complying she looked around taking in everything that was laid out before her. Knowing in a matter of moments it would all fall to her shoulders. She listened to his voice as he spoke feeling his breath fall upon her neck. The action making her knees weak, stopping just shy of a seating chart she turned her head to peer up at him. "No I haven't had the pleasure." She informed him, knowing that her entire life had been a struggle just to get here. She felt herself wither under his gaze. Turning her attention back to the items litter around the room, she quickly picked out the venue, and everything before her fell into place. Shaking her head she moved forwards, before taking up the seating arrangement. "Is this by request?" She asked him wondering why they person before her would seat people immediately after entering. The vast room allowed space for the type of evening. But yet the person was utilizing more room for a dance floor then actually sitting. She shook her head before turning to peer at him. "Any particular request?" She asked.
