Angels Fall

Erik looked at her, "You like her?" He asked, frowning. "Keegan you do know how fucking dangerous that is right?" He asked. He shrugged, "I dont like her. Honestly, I think she is hiding something. Something is just off about her." He said. He didnt like the idea that he couldnt trust people.

Keegan looked at him and said, "I told her that. She said she didn't mind. I tried to say no, but I couldn't." He shook his head sighing. He heard him and said, "What could she possibly be hiding tht we all aren't?" He asked him looking at him. "I think you just don't want to like her so you're making shit up in your head." he told his friend trying to soften his words, but knew he couldn't with Erik.

Erik looked at her, "I'm telling you man. She is up to something. I just got this feeling." He said as he drove. Once they got to the house he walked in with Keegan, seeing some of the guys. "Well they didn't hurt him too bad." He joked, as Keegan walked in with him.

Keegan heard him and said, "What if you're just being paranoid? We haven't had a new member in ages." He reminded him gently. He walked in with him and rolled his eyes hearing him. He shoved him lightly grinning at him. He glanced over before seeing a stunning girl but she was tiny. He said, "She couldn't have possibly beat Lance. Dude, there's no way." He said staring before looking at Erik to get confirmation.

Raven heard Erik speaking and just glanced up before rolling her eyes at him. Her eyes moved to look at Keegan. She looked back out the window before hearing his words and just laughed to herself a little bit.

Erik nodded, "She sure did." He said. He looked at the guys, "Keegan here fucked his therapist in jail. So I guess that whole thing about not finding women in there is a lie." He joked laughing. He sat down on the couch, next to Raven, looking at his friend. He was glad that Keegan was finally back.

Keegan stared looking back at Erik and said, "You're serious?" He stared at her shaking his head and laughed. "There's something you don't fucking expect." He sighed before hearing Erik and rolling his eyes. He noticed him sit next to Raven and smirked slightly raising an eyebrow at him. He kept his laughter away noticing Raven ignoring Erik.

Raven felt the weight on the couch shift and looked up from her book to find Erik and looked back at Keegan before looking back down at her book and snuggling into her blanket while reading chewing on her nail as she did so. No one was talking to her so she was going to go about her business.

Erik looked at Raven, "Are you ready for your last part of your initiation?" He asked. "Now that Keegan is here we can get on with it." He said, smirking.

Keegan raised an eyebrow watching Erik talk to her. He leaned against the wall watching her for a moment. He honestly said if she could beat Lance's ass she could be in it, but it was ultimately Erik's decision.

Raven held up a finger causing Keegan to bust out laughing, before dog earing the page and loooking up and said, "I'm sorry, What did you say?" She asked. "I seriously didn't hear you." She told him knowing he might think she was being a bitch. "I like her." Keegan said to Erik with a grin. "She's funny, and she's not even doing it on purpose."

Erik nodded, "Oh you didn't." He said, grabbing the book from her hands and tossing into the fireplace. "Now that is out of the way. "You are going to finish your initiation. Go get your smart ass up." He said, getting to his feet. He really was debating on if he wanted her around. Especially because he couldn't have her make him looking like an idiot.

Keegan watched his friend throw the book into the fire place and shook his head sighing and knew his friend needed to work on his temper. He didn't say anything though, knowing he would wait until they were alone. He knew for a fact that the other members didn't need to see him be questioned.

Raven sighed watching as her book was thrown into the fireplace. She went and grabbed it before it burned and shook her head at Erik before putting her book on the table. She looked at him crossing her arms over her chest. She didn't understand that he wanted her to respect him, but did shit like that. It was the most infuriating thing to her to have him treat her like shit and she couldn't even get a smart ass comment in without being criticized as if she had just shot his dog. She watched him with dark eyes.

Keegan noticed her get the book out of the fire, which surprised him, and said, "Why didn't you let it burn? It's already almost ruined." He told her. Raven glanced up hearing Keegan and said, "Almost isn't completely." He blinked shocked by her answer. He didn't hear that often. He looked at Erik meeting his eyes willing him to understand that he thought she was a keeper already.

Erik looked at her, "Go get ready" He said to her. He walked down into the basement with everyone and waited for her. It was easier to clean the mess up down there. He waited for her to walk downstairs, watching as Marco, pulling the blindfold off the guy that was tied up in the center of the room. He handed Raven a knife when she joined him. "Go on." He said. "Kill him." He said, looking at her.

Raven got downstairs and looked around before hearing Erik. She looked at the guy that was blindfolded in the room. She frowned and looked at the knife hesitating for a minute before saying, "I can't do it with a gun?" She knew she had to do this. She had to to be able to catch this bastard. She needed more information and the only way to do that was to get into the gang. She needed to do this for herself, her brother, and for her precinct.

Keegan heard her words and glanced at Erik before handing her a gun saying, "As long as you kill him." He said knowing he was allowed to use a gun. He watched leaning against a wall. He was shocked almost stupid when he saw one clean bullet his the guys forehead. He didn't think she'd do it.

Raven took the gun taking the safety off and checking how many bullets were in the gun. She knew it would be so easy to just kill them now and get it over with. She didn't even take a deep breath, she just immediately shot the guy in the head putting the gun back on safety tossing it to Erik. "Now what?" She asked ridding herself of her emotions. She looked at him her eyes hard as glass and as cold as ice. She was too upset at the moment to let him get in her head.

Erik rolled his eyes when Keegan handed her the gun. "You are no fun." He said. He watched as she shot the guy, catching it when it was tossed to him. "Now we party." He said. "Marco, Frankie. clean this shit up." He said before he walked up the stairs with everyone else.

Keegan heard Erik and said, "I got the choice, so did you. It's only fair, man." He told him chuckling. He could tell Raven took no joy from what she just did. He knew the look on her face and was extremely aware of it. He didn't say anything and left her alone before going upstairs.

Raven looked away from him and went upstairs and said, "I'd rather read my book." She grabbed it off the table before going into what Keegan assumed was her room. After an hour she emerged to get some food. She sat at the table and ate ignoring the drunken dudes all around her. She was still in her same outfit from earlier that day. She shivered slightly accidentally letting the part of her stomach that was showing brush against the cold table.

Erik laughed as he drank with a few of his friends. He looked at Keegan, seeing his friend walk off. He knew that he didn't like to be around parties. It was too much for him. Erik sighed as he leaned against the counter. He looked at Raven, "You really are going to read during all of this.

[Perhaps Keegan goes to see Luna?]

Raven heard Erik and looked up and said, "I don't drink much..anymore." She murmured shaking her head as memories came into her head. She shrugged. "Parties aren't really my thing anymore." She told him. She used to be a huge partier until she had been raped. Now, she just didn't go out and worked too much. She ate softly closing her book turning her head to look up at Erik before shaking her head just keeping her mouth shut.

Keegan watched as they started to drink and turned and walked out the door knowing he didn't want to be apart of that anymore. Drinking lead to drugs and drugs led back to his addiction. He waved at Erik giving him a grin. He went into his room fishing around and finding his phone knowing it was time for Luna to be getting off.

Erik sighed, "You don't have to drink to make conversation." He said. He never forced anyone to do anything associated with drugs or alcohol. Erik figured tomorrow he would have her deliver some drugs for him.

Luna sat in her apartment, staring at her phone. She decided to text Keegan. She texted him, Hey, make it home okay? She figured she could start with small talk.

Raven heard him and said, "Thoguht you would've been happy that i'm not talking." She gave him a look as she looked up at him. She looked down again and sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. She hoped nothing bad happened tomorrow. She needed a good day. She still felt as if a cold hand was placed around her throat after killing the guy.

Keegan smiled seeing a text message knowing who it was. Yeah, i'm home. What about you? How was the rest of your day? He sent back before heading to the gym and plugged his ears in with music as he started to punch the punching bag.

Erik looked at her, "I like when you talk, but I don't like when you try to act like you know more than me." He said. He knew for a fact that she didn't know anything about this life. He wouldn't let her think she did either. No one knew what their kind of life was until they actually lived it.

Luna smiled as she looked at his message, Oh you know, same old same old. She really didn't have much change in her days. Sometimes she could get the occasional new guy, but it was kind of rare. Luna laid on her couch, watching her tv as she waited for Keegan to answer.

Raven heard him and said, "I don't like when you act like I know nothing." She replied. "You get angry at my opinions and everything far and few between." She told him knowing she was right. "Sometimes when I talk to you I'm talking to Erik, not the crime boss, just remember that." She murmured softly. "Goodnight." She told him as she stood up turning to leave.

Keegan laughed seeing it and texted back. Same old same old, eh? Even if you're texting a convicted criminal? He smiled wondering if she'd want to see him tonight. He punched the punching bag as he waited for her response. He didn't like how stuffy the parties got here.
