Raven had been in the carriage for hours and was almost relieved to know that she was almost there. With the excitement of being out of the carriage, came the despair that the man she was to marry was going to be her worst nightmare. Biting her lip, she sighed shaking the thought away, as if chasing it away. She gave her handmaiden a gentle smile, not knowing what she do without her. She then nodded hearing her say that it was time to get her ready. They had gotten her dress on before they left her castle, but had left her face bare so if she chose to sleep on the way here, she could. She stood still as she started to put her makeup on. She smiled opening her beautiful emerald eyes to look back at her. The crimson dress that draped itself over her shoulders complimented her almost tanned skin as well as her dark brown hair. She allowed her to put a little pigment on her lips making them appear a bit pinker than they did originally. Feeling the carriage come to a half, she exited before she was escorted to the throne room. She took a deep breath before entering the throne room the lights illuminating her face her beautiful eyes shining far brighter than they had any right to. She minded her manners gently giving a curtsey to the royal family that stood in front of her. She saw two boys and was surprised. No one had told her they had two sons. She wondered which one she was to marry, but made her gaze land on the floor as she waited to be spoke to.

Jaime was in the middle of having his nice clothes out on, the maids having to make sure that there were no wrinkles on the sleeves or chest area. Once he was dressed, the brushed his hair back. He waved a hand softly telling them softly, "It's fine." They giggled knowing he hated having to be doted over as if he couldn't do all of this himself. As if on cue, his mind started to wonder back to what his parents had said about the Vanderbilt princess. They had said she was rumored to be very beautiful, and at that he gave a small smirk, but it slowly faded as he shook his head, knowing that he wanted to marry someone he cared about and loved and adored. He just didn't see himself loving someone that he was being forced to have an intimate relationship with. The only saving grace, was the fact that he got to spend almost a year with her before their wedding. His half curly brown hair stayed close to him. He had two years on his nineteen year old brother, but knew that the princess was only one year younger than his brother. He sighed softly turning his sharp blue gaze to the window, as he ran his fingers through his small beard, having trimmed it to look his best for Princess Isabella.

Dylan groaned as he was thrown all over the place by the maids and glared at them. "Demons. The lot of you. You're enjoying this." He teased but knew they were since Jaime and him never let them do anything. He a ran hand through his black hair with a small smile having shaved already since he needed to look his best even though it wasn't his betrothed. Looking around, he let the maids have their way with him and sighed once he was ready and looked down saying, "Bloody Hell, I look like a nutcracker." That got giggles from the maids. Giving them a sweet smile he bowed and said, "Thank you for dressing me up." He grinned giving a wink before exiting his room. He wondered how the princess was going to be considering. He knew the two kingdoms were warring and instead of diplomatically handling the situation, they decided to sell their children basically. He knew it was their duty, but couldn't help but feel bad for his older brother. He sighed wishing he was out helping the guards and shook his head, appearing in the throne room with his brother looking towards the doors knowing that it was almost time.

Dominic strolled the halls of the castle listing to his father speak to him about the woman coming. He was bethroed to her, something he didn’t truly want. But with his family and her family being the two highest in the two kingdoms. He knew he didn’t have much of a say so in the matter.

“Dominic, are you listing to me?” His father, King James spoke to him.

“Of course I am. Be curtesy and don’t act like an ass towards the maiden. I got it.” Dominic told his father putting his hands behind his back sighing. “When will she be here?” Dominic asked his father.

“Very soon. Let’s go get your brother and wait for her.” King James told his son walking to get his other son.

Dominic trailed behind his mind racing with thoughts. He saw his younger brother walk out as they made their way down to the foyer and outside the castle. Seeing a carriage pull in, Erik couldn’t help but to stare at the beautiful maiden that got out. She was absolutely breath taking.

Erik stood beside of his older brother. When the maiden stepped off, Erik’s mouth dropped. She was breathtaking. He cleared his throat seeing his mother staring at him.

“I am King James, this is my wife Queen Annie and our sons, Dominic and Erik. Prince Dominic is the one that you’re to wed.” James introduced the family.

Erik stared at her and frowned. He wished it was him but knew, it wasn’t and it sucked.

Isabella let a soft sigh escape her lips as her maid sat beside of her. She knew her kingdom and this kingdom she was going too, were at war. But she didn’t understand why her father didn’t just do the right thing. Let the diplomacy deal with it. Instead of selling her like she was a worthless rag doll.

She was the only child of her mother and father, and she truly loved it. Sighing a little bit more she pushed some curls out of her face feeling her maid take her hand. “We’re here, dear.” She whispered.

Isabella nodded her head standing up in the carriage. She pushed some wrinkles out of her dress. Once the door to her carriage opened up, she slowly stepped down looking around at the castle before her. Seeing her maid bow, she curtsey bowed to the King and Queen as she rose back up putting her hands together in front of her. Seeing two men emerge, her eyes caught the one with the darker hair. She blushed before turning her attention back to the family to find out which man she would be marrying.

Raven saw Erik's mouth and gave a quiet giggle wondering if he was the one she was to marry. She had to give it to both of them -- they were quite the handsome pair. She looked up hearing King James and gave a nod softly and whispered, "I am Princess Raven, my parents, King Trystan and Queen Lila give their regards and hope for peace." She bowed her head, having been taught how to act in front of royalty by now. She looked around knowing this would be her new home for probably ever. A sadness grew in her, allowing her eyes to shine with a layer of water but she tried her very best to not allow them to see. She was already homesick and she had been gone a few hours. She shook her head before standing taller and giving a smile. She heard him say that Dominic was the one she was to marry and walked forward giving another curtsey. "It's wonderful to meet you." She told him. Her voice was soft but almost whimsical. She would talk louder in time as she grew comfortable around these people. She was a tad shy.

Jaime stood aside before gently taking Isabella's hand and helping her out of the carriage as a gentleman should. He removed himself from her standing at his father's side tall and well behaved. He watched her thinking that she was beautiful and gave a smile to himself feeling as if maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as it could have been. His father started to speak, "Welcome, Princess Isabella. I'm King Victor, and this is my Queen, Maria." He nodded before turning to introduce his sons. "This is Jaime," He added, "Jaime is the one you are betrothed to." He then pointed at Dylan, "This is Dylan." He finished his introductions and said, "You must be exhausted, boys, help with her luggage and escort her to her chambers." He told them.

Dylan watched as Jaime helped her and was shocked to see how gorgeous she was. Her blonde curls made him just want to kiss her. He glanced at Jaime almost glaring a little bit upset that he had such a gorgeous betrothed. He smiled hearing his father and gave her a bow. "Princess." He told her taking her hand and kissing it softly before hopping back ignoring the look his mother was giving him. He met his mom's eyes willing her to see that he was on his best behaviour and just being courteous. He noticed her blush when she looked at him and had to hide the smirk that seemed to be rising onto his face. Upon hearing his father, he nodded and went over getting two of her suitcases and murmured, "It's this way." He gave her a friendly smile before starting to walk.

Dominic smiled helping her to stand upright as he smiled even more. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” Dominic smiled. He was beginning to think that maybe it wasn’t going to be so bad after all. He heard his father speak up, “I am sure that you are tired, Princess Raven.” James spoke.

“I’ll show her to her room, father.” Dominic told his father offering an arm towards Raven. “Shall we?” He smiled towards her.

Erik stood there watching at how gorgeous she was. Hearing his father speak than his brother. He grabbed Raven’s luggage. Following behind his brother and Raven. He couldn’t help himself but to admire her. She was truly stunning. Breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous.

Isabella walked alongside Jamie and followed Dylan. She saw Jamie holding her other two bags and saw him smiling towards her. She gave him a small smile and looked out the windows they passed that led towards her chambers. Both of the men were stunning and gorgeous. Even if she was bethroed to Jamie. She felt a pull towards Dylan. Ignoring it she tried to shake the feeling she had as she smiled walking into her chambers, “Thank you, both.” Isabella smiled lightly at them.

Raven gave a small smile nodding her head to Dominic. She looked over at James and said, "It would be lovely to get a quick rest." She looked over hearing Dominic and gave him a smile back. She nodded and took his arms. She saw Erik and turned and said, "Thank you." She gave him a kind smile before walking towards her room with them. She thought they were both exceedingly handsome and knew it was wrong of her to find herself watching Erik when he was in her eyesight. She ignored herself knowing she had to be with Dominic. Seeing her room she blinked looking around in wonder seeing that her room was blue and silver. She smiled and said, "It's beautiful. Thank you." She said looking at both of them.

Jaime had taken the other two bags, figuring he could pick his weight up. He saw her smile and arrived to her chambers. He set down her luggage out of the walkway and looked at Dylan then back to Isabella. He out his hands behind his back having them clasped in one another. "If there is anything else you need, just ask." He bowed his head and said, "Dylan or myself would be happy to help." He kissed her hand gently before exiting the room.

Dylan set her down her bags beside where Jaime had put them and sighed softly. He heard Jaime and smiled at Isabella. "Rest well." He told her flashing her a grin before walking out with Jaime. He laughed with his brother speaking with him about many different things. He wondered how the ball tomorrow to welcome Isabella would go. He hoped well. He hummed softly as he walked down the hallway.

Dominic nodded his head, “You’re quiet welcome, Princess Raven.” Dominic told her smiling. He placed the two bags he had in his hands down in her room. “I’ll leave you to rest, and unpack. If you need anything your lady at hand’s room is right next door. I’ll be back soon to check on you.” Dominic told her and smiled as he bided his goodbyes and walked off.

Seeing his brother walk off, Erik smiled at Raven nodding his head. “You’re welcome. Get some rest, and do whatever you need to do.” Erik smiled taking her hand into his and kissing it gently again. “I’ll see you soon.” Erik smiled before walking out of her room to leave her to rest.

Isabella watched the two leave her room. Smiling at them as she pushed the doors up and sighed a little. She couldn’t help the attraction towards the two of them. But it grew more for Dylan. Smiling to herself, she took and bit on her lip sighing a little bit to herself. She couldn’t help but to wonder what it’d be like to be with both of the two. Sitting on the bed she removed her heels and sighed to herself.

Raven heard him say Princess Raven once more and shook her head saying, "Please, Raven is just fine." She told him watching as he put her bags down. "Thank you." She smile and nodded hearing his words. "Alright." She told him before looking back at Erik. She felt him kiss her hand again and watched him walk away unable to help with blush that wamred her face up. She gasped holding her face and shaking her head. She sighed and started to unpack gently before laying down on the bed smiling at the ceiling a little.

Jaime sighed wondering what he was going to do now. He had no clue what to do. Hearing his brother humming he looked back at him and said, "If only you weren't born into this family, you could be a singer." He chuckled but meant his words. He could be singer and could be a very successful singer at that.He watched Dylan take off and smiled softly before going into the guards' practice and grinned beginning to spar with them. If he was to be King, he wasn't going to sit around. He was going to fight with his men.

Dylan looked up hearing Jaime and rolled his eyes, but gave him a laugh and a smile. "I suppose so, but I was born into this family, so as much as it pains me, I cannot be a singer." He smiled as he walked with him. He stretched before heading to the stables. He pulled the reigns up and took his horse out into the courtyard before going towards the fields figuring he would ride around for a bit until dinner was ready.

Isabella took and changed into her gown. Once she had fixed herself she walked out of the chambers and began wondering around. Humming to herself she wasn't sure if it was alright or not. But she didn't want to stay in that room any longer. Stopping at a room she saw Prince Jamie spearing with the guards. Leaning into the doorway of the room she smiled lightly at the sight of him. He was rather amazing with what he was doing.

Deciding on spearing with the guards. Dominic walked into the training room and began spearing with them. He did each exercise they did and sighed in content. If he was going to be a king one day, he was going to do whatever it took and he'd take and prove himself to others as well.

Erik sighed as he took and sat down in the thrown room. Sighing to himself he pulled the small notebook out and began writing in it. Sighing to himself his thoughts roamed back to Raven. He couldn't help but to think about her.

Raven smiled to herself for a moment more before standing up. She helped her maids put away her clothing before changing into a gown that she thought suited her personality. She smiled at the tulle that cascaded down her body. She stood at a mighty five feet and sighed after an hour and decided she would go exploring the castle. She stood up glancing around once outside before walking forward. She heard sounds as if metal was clanging. Following the sound, she stopped in the doorway to see Dominic sparring with the guards. She gave a soft smile biting down on her lip lightly as she watched thinking that she would never be able to do something quite as impressive as that.

Jaime grinned as he sparred with his guards. At one point they thought it was quite all unfair and two guards came at once at him. He did his best, but it was evident that he was on the defensive at this moment. He swirled out of one of the guards' grasp and smirked kicking him out from under his legs before standing back up and beginning to get the offensive back.

Dylan sighed contently as he rode around. He saw some cows and grinned petting them before looking at the sky. He figured he had spent more than an ample amount of time out in the field. He headed back, getting his horse in the stables and brushed her down giving her a carrot. He headed back inside and noticed Isabella was standing right in front of where the guards sparred. He came up behind her and spoke, "Oh, you're watching Jaime." He gave her a sweet smile.

Dominic did his best. He saw the guards smirk and saw a few coming at him. Taking and rounding one and spearing him and doing the other. He smiled in triumph. "Shall we go again?" He questioned them. Dominic smirked taking the guards on again enjoying himself knowing that soon he'd have to take and get ready for dinner.

Erik walked down the corridor's and stopped seeing Raven watching Dominic. He frowned to himself before walking up beside of her and smiling, "Watching Dominic are we?" He questioned with a genuine smile. "He's got some raw talent with a sword." Erik smiled at her.

Isabella jumped, startled at the voice behind her. She turned seeing Dylan there and smiled, "I was wondering your castle and heard metal clinging." She smiled at him sweetly. "He has some talent, that's true." She spoke watching Jamie a moment before looking back at Dylan. "So I overheard Jamie mention you sing?" Isabella smiled at him.

Raven watched him before jumping hearing Erik and turned and murmured, "I heard metal hitting against metal, and was wondering what the noise was." She nodded her head before seeing his smile and giving a shy smile back. "I wish I could do such things." She murmured before shaking her head and said, "What an absurd thought." She gave a small laugh before turning to him tilting her head. "While he dances with a sword, what do you do?" Her hair fell into her face for a moment before she brushed it away her emerald eyes gazing into his, before she looked away blushing a bit.

Jaime laughed as he was having fun. He ended up getting crushed into the ground and let out a long exhale and then started laughing. "You got me." He told them. "Granted, it was two on one." He gave a cheeky grin before jumping up and shaking it off. "One more time?" He challenged, his hair in a slight uproar.

Dylan saw her jump and said, "My apologies, Princess." He told her before nodded and laughed, "You will always hear metal clanging away." He blinked hearing her and said, "He should not of told you that." He laughed only teasingly. "Yes, I do sing. In another life, I would have wanted to fair my way being a singer." He told her. "What say you?" He questioned his blue eyes meeting her own.

Erik smiled at her, "If you put your mind to it, I am very positive, that you could." Erik smiled at her as he took and watched her a second. Her emerald eyes staring into his own brown eyes. He pushed some of her hair out of her face and smiled. "I, my dear. I write. Cheeky and stupid. Some may say it's foolish. But, tis what I do." Erik smiled as he pushed some of his own hair out of his face.

Dominic finished up and laid his sword down. Walking away he stopped noticing Erik pushing some of Raven's hair out of her face. He narrowed his gaze at his younger brother and walked towards them clearing his throat. "You look lovely, Raven." Dominic smiled at her.

Isabella smiled at him, "I bet your voice is lovely." She told him. "I...I sing. I want to be a singer, but in another life I suppose." Isabella smiled at Dylan. She simply shrugged her shoulders staring at him. "Guess this is what I am meant to be in life. Betrothed to your brother, and a Princess." She made a face and giggled.

Raven heard him and smiled saying, "It's not very lady like at all." She felt him push hair out of her face and titled her head. "Like a novelist?" She smiled and said, "I love to read." She heard Dominic and looked up smiling hearing him and nodded her head to him. "Thank you, Prince." She said giving a small smile. She had just started to speak louder with Erik, but she was back to her timid voice and her eyes still danced around the person in front of her. "You were wonderful with a sword." She praised him.

Dylan smiled and said, "Maybe one day you'll hear it." He was surprised to hear that she sung and told her, "Maybe you'll allow me to be graced with your voice?" He smiled at her before laughing hearing her. "It's not quite what fairy tales make it out to be, is it?" He questioned watching her with light eyes.

Jaime brawled with the two other nights until finally he beat both of him and howled happily. He grinned and messed with them until he turned seeing Dylan talking and smiling and laughing with Isabella. He frowned for a second narrowing his eyes, before clearing it from his face and walked towards them. "Princess, you look breathtaking." He bowed to her before giving her a smile.

Dominic smiled at her, "Thank you." He told her. "I'd love to show you one day if you'd like?" Dominic offered her smiling at her. He noticed Erik smirking towards them.

"Yes like a novelist." Erik smiled at Raven. "If you'll excuse me, Princess." Erik smiled bowing to her before he walked off grinning. He knew he'd pushed his brother but in all fairness, he couldn't help himself.

Isabella smiled at Jamie bowing to him, "Thank you, Prince." Isabella smiled at him. "You're very breathtaking with a sword, Prince Jamie." She complimented him smiling.

Raven smiled happily hearing him say like a novelist. "Let me read something of yours sometime." She heard him and sighed, "It's Raven, please." She murmured watching him walk off before smiling at Dominic. "You're welcome. Oh my, I couldn't my mother would be devastated." She whispered before giving him a smile. She didn't know why but it felt much lonelier without Erik standing there with his warm brown gaze and his soft words. Oh, get a hold of yourself! He's not yours. Her mind screamed at her. She looked up at Dominic tilting her head. "Is something wrong?" She questioned biting down on her lip hoping she hadn't done anything to offend him.

Jamie smiled nodding before laughing, "Well, thank you very much." He told her softly. He smiled before speaking again, "Thought, I can't imagine how you've found yourself at the guards' training ward." A grin fell upon his face as he looked down at her waiting for her response. He heard Dylan excuse himself and watched him for a moment before turning back to Isabella.

Dylan heard Isabella's words and it was all he could do not to roll his eyes. He knew he was considered the weakling Prince because he was not as good as Jamie. He heard them speaking and said, "I'll be on my way then. I'll see you both at dinner." He flashed a grin before turning around and starting to walk off. Well, this was going to be interesting.

Dominic shook his head with a small smile, "No. I was just admiring you." Dominic admitted to her and smiled lightly. "I need to get cleaned up for dinner. I hate to bid farewell, but it's just for a short time." Dominic smiled kissing her hand. He turned on his heels before walking down the corridor and disappearing into his chambers.

Erik took and walked out of his chambers once he was dressed. He saw Raven and smiled handing her one of his small notebook he'd written in. "There you are. Please do be honest with your opion. You're the first person I have ever told about my writing. And first person I have ever let read something." Erik smiled at Raven.

Isabella looked at Dylan as he walked off. She felt a slight tug on her heart as she sighed a little. She shook her head trying to get a hold of herself. Looking at Jaime as he spoke to her she nodded her head lightly. "I was walking around the castle, and heard metal clinging. I stopped once I saw you spearing with them." Isabella spoke softly to Jaime smiling.

Raven blinked hearing his words. Her face immediately turned a shade of dark pink. She smiled and nodded hearing him, "It's alright." She felt him kiss her hand and bit down on her lip watching as he left. She hummed walking slowly down the hallway. She looked up seeing Erik, and gave him a smile. She felt him hand her a notebook and looked down at it before looking back up at him. "I'm glad to have the honor." She told him before saying, "I will read it tonight before I go to bed." She called her maid and asked her if she would take her notebook back to her room. "Would you mind giving me a tour sometime, you or Dominic." She gave him a smile.

Jaime nodded and said, "Ahh, I understand. My apologies if I bothered you." He bowed his head before a small smile crept onto his face. "It was not my intention to bother you with the noise." He looked at the time and gave a small sigh. "Looks as though I need to leave you in order to get my dinner clothes on." He said laughing looking down at his dirty clothes. "I do apolgize. I will see you at dinner soon." He smiled bowing once more and said, "Until then." He turned around and walked to his chambers.

Dylan hummed softly down the corridors as he finished getting dressed. He exited his room still singing. He was busy pulling on his shoes and tying them to realize he had an audience of the maids and servants. They all looked at him dreamily as he sung. He finished up and looked up and was surprised to see a lot of them looking at him happily. "Oh, stop." He told him but smiled. He gave a bow.

"We have merely an hour and half till dinner. Would you like the tour now?" Erik smiled at Raven. Erik smiled admiring her. He was hoping she'd say yes. He took and smiled watching her ponder on it hoping his brother didn't come this way.

Dominic finished with his bath, and walked out in his trousers and under garments. He took and saw the maids come in and begin helping he get ready. He was taking too much enjoyment in it.

Isabella smiled watching the maids with Dylan. She smiled at him as she took and admired how gorgeous he was and his voice was amazing. She saw the maids walk away as she looked at Dylan giving a bow. "Your voice is stunning and amazing." She told him clapping.

Raven gave him a smile and said, "Please." She gave him another smile before minding her manners and averting her eyes. She took a moment before asking, "Would you also mind telling me more about Dominic?" She questioned softly. She bit down on her lip and started to walk with him. She wondered where their library was -- or even if they had one. Glancing back up she saw him looking at her and gave him a quizzical look.

Jaime got into the bath before letting himself get out. He dried off his body and put his under garments on and then began to dry his hair. He yawned stretching again, glancing at himself in the mirror finding another new bruise and knew that his parents hated that he fought with the guards. He smiled before glancing over seeing the maids come in to help him and just smirked slightly.

Dylan smiled hearing clapping, turning his eyes on Isabella. He laughed and said, "Well, thank you. I take that as the highest compliment." With another smile he said, "Well, now you have heard me sing. Wish granted." As he grinned at her, he walked forwards, his steps quiet as he rolled the heels of his feet.
