A Modern Affair

Raven fell asleep. She woke in the morning and got dressed in a plain black dress knowing she wa sin mourning clothes. She sighed before wiping her face trying to convince herself that she would have a better day than she had before. She wiped at her face once more and stretched before clasping her hands together and heading into the hallway. She then headed to the meal hall. She looked around for Dominic or Erik.

Jaime smiled at her and nodded hearing her words and murmured, "I'm glad." He noticed her hesitate but didn't want to mention it, not wanting to upset her. He smiled and nodded bowing to herself. "You're welcome. The pleasure was all mine." He admitted kissing her hand before letting her go.

Dylan headed to his own chambers. He undressed before getting into the bath knowing he needed to be cleaned. He finished up and sighed going out onto his balcony just having a pair of trousers on. He crossed his arms over his chest as he looked at the moon feeling himself relax at the idea of haing Isabella in his arms instead of Jaime's.

Dominic took and bathed that morning early, and was dressed and in the main hall before anyone. Walking around he let his hand gradually go through his hair. Stopping he noticed Raven in the meal hall and smiled. He walked over to her and bowed, "How are you feeling, Raven?" Dominic asked kind and tenderly.

Erik laid in his bed and frowned. Sighing he had thought all night of ways to steal Raven. But knew he couldn't compete with his older brother. After all he was the younger, and was forbidden to interfere with this arrangement. But he would do whatever it took and he meant it. He'd get Raven one way or another. Something about her made him more, himself than he ever dared dreamed to be.

Isabella stood in front of the mirror looking at her reflection. She looked absolutely beautiful, but she couldn't shake her mind from Dylan. Something about him she adored. She quickly walked out of her chambers and made her way down the hall way slowly. She took and went to his chambers door and knocked lightly. Seeing him open it she couldn't resist the urge anymore. She lent in pressing her lips to his as she pulled back. "I know it wasn't lady like, but I can't deny it anymore." Isabella whispered staring at him.

Raven ran a hand through her hair gently and pulled the veil off gently and knew she couldn't wear it. It made it diddifuclt to do anything else. she looked over hearing words and saw that it was Dominic and was a little disappointed that it wasn't Erik. She gave a soft smile nonetheless. She nodded her head and said, "To be expected, I supposed. What about you?" She questioned.

Jaime sighed to himself wondering if he should follow her, but knew that he respected her privacy far too much to do anything like that. HE ran a hand through his hair gently and went into his chambers letting the maidws dress him down before walking into his bathroom and beginning to get into his bath tub.

Dylan ran a hand through his hair gently and bliknked hearing a knock on his door. He stood up opened his door. He saw Isabella and thought that she looked utterly beautiful. He gasped confused when he felt her kiss him. He looked at her hearing her words and looked down at him before pulling her closer and kissing her hungrily shutting his door letting her back fall against it lightly. "Me either." he admitted to her.

Dominic looked at her and nodded his head. "I"m fine, princess. I wanted to check on you to make sure you're okay as to be expected. Can I get you anything or do anything?" He questioned staring at her lightly.

Erik took and stopped seeing Dominic speaking with Raven. Narrowing his eyes he couldn't stand it. He saw his brother leave as he walked over. "How are you holding up, Raven?" Erik asked her lightly.

Isabella wrapped her arms around his neck. She took and kissed him back just as he did her. Staring at him she looked at him. "What do we do?" Isabella whispered.

Raven looked over at him before shaking her head lightly. "No, I'm okay." She replied speaking with him for a little longer before watching him leave knowing he had princely duties to attend to. She looked over seeing Erik and gave him a small smile nodding her head. "I'm okay, I suppose." She murmured running a hand over her face lightly. "No, I'm not okay, but I have to be." She told him glancing past and looking towards the window walking slowly towards it. She clapsed her hands together again ehr knuckles beginning to turn white.

Jaime relaxed within the bathtub. He then ran a hand through his hair gently letting his head fall back. He leaned forward hearing his maid come in and let her wash his back knowing he couldn't reach it. He was trying to think of ways to get Isabella.

Dylan felt her arms around his neck and looked down at her as he felt them stop from their passionate embrace. He looked at her and murmured, "You're breathtaking." he smiled before sighing and said, "I don't know, Isabella." His voice was husky from the kissing and he just wanted to take her to bed.

"Is there anything at all, that I can do?" Erik asked walking over to her and staring as he placed his hand on the bottom of her back. "I am here, I will do whatever it takes." Erik whispered to her.

Dominic huffed as he entered the training room. He began beating the crap out of anything he could get his hands on. He was pissed. Furious. He couldn't win her over with Erik always lingering around.

Isabella stared at him. She wasn't sure herself. She took and placed her hand to his bare chest staring at him. She lent back up kissing his lips again. She knew this wasn't lady like, but she didn't care. Since she'd laid eyes on Dylan. She knew she wanted him and not Jaime.

Raven looked up at him feeling his hand go to the small of her back. She gasped a little seeing his intensity. For a moment her grief disappeared as she watched him. "What are you asking?" She whispered watching him knowing she shouldn't have gotten herself into that situation but he was so sweet and he seemed as if he truly liked her.

Jaime sighed to himself getting out of the tub and drying himself off. He put on a white shirt and a pair of trousers figuring he would go for a ride. He was not the least bit tired and needed something to do.

Dylan watched her and felt her hand fall onto his chest. He kissed her back, lifting her up into his arms and headed towards his bed, knowing he would enver ask her to do something that she wasn't comfortable with. He set her down crawling over her, letting his hands keep himself lifted as he kissed her again.

Erik smiled at her as he shook his head. "I am asking, is their anything I can do to make you feel any better. I am worried about you. I know you're grieving but I don't like seeing you like this." He admitted to her softly.

Dominic finished beating everything he could get his hands on. Sighing he rubbed his face frowning.

Isabella kissed him back as she took and let her arms slowly keep attached to his neck. She took and pulled back staring at him, "I need you, Dylan." Isabella whispered before kissing his lips lightly as she stared at him.

Raven kept her emerald eyes on him and listened to his words before murmuring, "I don't think there is anything anyone can do, and I mean that in the nicest way possible." She looked down at her hands before looking back up at him aware of his hand on the small of her back.

Jaime was getting increasingly annoyed with his brother's advances towards Isabella and needed to ifind a solution to his problem. He didn't know what else he could do at this point.

Dylan looked down at her listening to her words before kissing her again and letting his hands moved to start undo her corset, letting it fly off gently across his room as he kissed her again letting his lips trail down to her neck.
